I don't think it's asking too much to want realistic portion sizes on food items. I read all that nutrition info because a) I'm curious and b) I get bored. Who the hell has a half a cup of ice cream? Who is this half-a-cup person? I'd personally like to meet them and commend them on their self control to not go over that half cup mark. I mean damn, if you can stop at half a cup you have no use for the nutrition info anyway.

That's me. I have half a cup of ice cream w/ half a cup of chocolate, w/ half a cup of cake, w/ half a cup of pie, and half a cup of cookies. I feel so much better since I went from full cups of all those at once to only half a cup of each.

Damn this was the definition of a lazy Sunday. I did jack all.

Oh and Happy Victoria Day Canadians. The rest of Canada celebrates it too, yes? It's not just us BCers who get the long weekend?

Just looking at my dog and thinking about what a weird mix of breeds he is. Guinness is a Border collie/Staffordshire terrier mix.

So a top article today in my city's most popular blog is titled, "10 Tips For Affordable Living in Vancouver".

My first thought is that it's likely a lot of extra efforts to achieve what Montrealers have without even trying.

Downtown Vancouver rents out literal closets for $600.

So I've consumed somewhere around 8000 calories in the past two days (I don't care if you guys don't believe me, I know the truth). But I woke up with my skin looking better today, so I've got that going for me, which is nice. Probably from all the Vitamin E of the peanut butter I gobble straight from the jar.

I had the weirdest thing happen last night. I dreamed 4 dreams simultaneously. No, they didn't run together one after the other. I literally had 4 plot lines going at the same time. I'm wondering if this has something to do with my splitting.

Whatever caused it, it was completely nerve wrecking. I woke up dizzy as though I had watched four different TV stations at once.
The Hokey Pokey IS what it's all about

I wonder if I should bother re-dyeing my hair or if I should just wait for it to grow back out to my natural color...
Needless to say, the blue-black combo was a mistake. It's gray at the moment but my eyebrows are brown again. I look quite odd.

Why do lectures titled "Water Safety" and "Food Safety" have chapters dedicated to terrorism?

Part of me feels like I'm being trolled.

Job Gains by Province in 2014 (Q1):

    BC: +15,000
    Ontario: +25,500

    Quebec: +2,300

See, my observations weren't wrong. Quebec's economy is shittier than where I came from.

Okay I won't stop going on and on about my hometown, but I'm far away and I'm trying to stay on the ball with what's going on.

So in addition to Microsoft and Amazon opening up ~700 new jobs downtown, apparently China is now contemplating financing an estimated $2 trillion dollar cross-continent train from Beijing to Vancouver D: A new airline company has been approved, and projects to start sending flights in 2015 employing 130 people. On a smaller scale, one of our suburbs is now debuting its own night market.

Man, Vancouver feels so much more economically alive compared to Montreal...

LOL! Listening to my boyfriend sing in Polish... I don't mean to laugh, I've just never heard anything like it before.
He has a gorgeous voice though
I sing too. Maybe the two of us should record an album together. LOL, kidding, kidding.
On a serious note, did you guys on here know that I sing? I don't know if I ever mentioned it.
