Exercise with my loving dog Baloo.

I have been a member for a few weeks now so thought I would say hello.
I have suffered from depression and anxiety for more years than I care to remember.
Thankfully I can manage to keep my depression pretty much under control obviously days are good and bad and some very dark days.
The very dark days now are few and far between for this I am very thankful.
Anxiety now that's a very different issue, I will give a little bit of my background for many years decades even I worked in middle management looking after as many as 50 staff.
Over the last decade or so I have been made redundant from several positions, each time I have actively sought positions with decreasing responsibilities.
So now I work on a warehouse floor on a forklift and I am responsible only for myself.
In my previous position I won't go into too much detail as it is painful. I had two bouts of anxiety/depression both leading me to having a month off work each time and shutting myself off from the world not leaving my home. Not good for my wife and I don't want her to go through anything like that again. The only saving grace I had on both occasions was having the strength to walk away from my desk, phone my manager from the car and take myself to seek help.
The second time I stayed on the meds (fluoxetine) and they do seem to be helping, but it has been years now and the anxiety is always there to varying degrees.
Exercise with my dog is helping too, also he notices my mood change and will put his head in my lap, wagging his tail with a glint in his eye. He takes a bit of the edge off for me, but sadly it is still a daily battle for me to carry out my duties and my work rarely changes. Even a slight change in duties makes me incredibly anxious, and I know I can easily do it.
That's the worst part for me is the anxiety being completely irrational.

Apologies for the length of my introduction, and I hope I will be able to contribute and help in some way.

    Peace and Love Gary...
