    Do You Wear a Watch?

I know they're probably going out of style, but I have an old-fashioned analog watch that I wear every day. I had the idea for this thread because I had trouble finding it a few days ago. I searched for it for so long that I was almost late for work. I've worn a watch since I was a kid, and it would really bother me if I didn't wear it.

I haven't worn a watch since high school (90s). I had a cute little pink and black Casio analogue watch that I adored until it broke on me. I never ended up replacing it, and once mobile phones became ubiquitous, I've used them as my time piece ever since.

Yeah, Apple Watch. Mainly for exercise stuffs. One day I'll buy a really nice dress watch. Something I've thought about but not pulled the trigger.

Yes. Have a good one. Hate digital watches. Normal style.

Analog - Timex "Takes a licking and keeps on ticking!". Heh, the model has a name "South Street" I am wearing this one now, but I misplaced it and it was lost for three years.

...so I bought this version (I liked the font of the numbers).

Yes. Only started wearing one in 2012 when traveling. Quite convenient, lol. Nowadays I wear an el cheapo one from decathlon. It has lasted 3+ years already and since it's a water sports thing also survived the year in which I was experimenting with cold showers and had to time in this environment. The only downside is that I need to adjust the time every 6 months or so because it's a tiny bit too slow. I love the simplicity of the thing and that it's water proof. It's ridiculous how robust it is for just a couple of euro's. As you can probably tell, I couldn't care less about the fashion aspect.

@Ironman The top one is similar to mine, actually.

I don't like watches without numbers. I don't care about fashion, but I need to be able to see what the time is at a glance.

This looks somewhat similar to a watch that I'm thinking of buying (not right away but eventually). It's not crazy expensive but looks very nice..

Ooooooo - that one looks like it's got time zones, I like the colors, too
Oceanus - well, given your location, it would fit

You can get a gold Apple Watch and make it fancy. I switch out the bands of my watch depending on what I'm doing.

I love watches, I believe that with a good timepiece there is no need for jewellery (but jewellery is fun too). Mine is this:

The strap is all worn out but I will have it replaced soon.

Yes, watches are the best. A jewelry piece that actually has a practical function.

Plus, since they're kind of "antiquated", you'd have the vintage and sophisticated look with one.

I agree, there's definitely something grown up about a person who wears a watch.

No there’s no point. It’s basically a bracelet at this point with smart phones existing.
I don?t like being around or interacting with other people, this is my personality. I am a jerk - I don?t mean to be, but whenever I speak up I say something rude. It?s just the way that I am. Don?t bother me.
