TV shows/Movies that were seen as a bad influence when you were a kid?

Where the Red Fern Grows traumatized me a lot as a child. Really unsure why my parents thought it was a good idea for me to see it.

I haven't seen Red Fern Grows but I remember watching Watership Down as a kid and that was bloody brutal!

Well there was this show called Skins here. Probably fairly tame compared to what we have today on TV. It was about a group of 17/18 year olds about to leave school. Those teenagers did what teenagers do - drank, smoked weed, snuck into nightclubs.

Newspapers went absolutely mad here about it all, said it was a bad influence, claimed people were throwing "skins parties". As if they weren't doing that stuff anyway.

The Simpsons. I wasn't allowed to watch it because Bart Simpson was corrupting the youth. 80s moral panics seem so quaint now.
