Yay!!! I can't wait! I love how they started the whole series off again. One can never have enough Star Trek.

btw, I've dined with Klingons and have been to probably most of the sci fi conventions around here.

I am excited to see Benedict Cumberbatch in this. He is excellent in Sherlock.

The teaser looks pretty dark... hopefully the movie still has a few of those lighthearted moments that Star Trek is known for.

I'm a huge Star Trek fan and I'm definitely looking forward to this movie. I love how they rebooted the universe in the last movie, so I definitely have my hopes high for its sequel. Khan or Gary Mitchell seem to be people's top choices for the villain, and I'm surprised it's been kept under wraps so far considering every other major blockbuster had villain details leak very far in advance of their first teasers/trailers. Can't wait to find out more!

    Star Trek 2 trailer?

Regarding the new movie, though, it looks like Cumberbatch will be playing Gary Mitchell from the TOS episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before".
