How do you like your steak?

To the meat-eaters out there, curious.

Had a steak that was on the high end of the Medium scale tonight for the first time. I ordered these like tiny filet medallions and got one Medium Rare, one Medium, one Medium Well. I could tell right away I liked the medium. Had to get the medium rare back in and cooked a little better.

After having it well done as a child (parents always ordered for me), I decided to try it medium well and it did taste juicier when I moved out. Thought I'd try the medium, definitely like the chewiness a lot better while still having that steak taste that I love.

So really, like to know how do you like your steak done?

I like well-done. To me it's more flavorful.

Yeah I find it has more taste too. And if it's cooked quickly it'll still be juicy.

Well well well done - if I see any red I will not eat it - I'm not picky but I will not eat any meat that has red in it!

I typically go for a medium to a medium-well. It's how my mum always made them so it's how I always eat them.

Disappointed with all of you. Rare/medium rare, depending on the cut.

Learned today that if you want to ask for a steak that is Medium with no red on it, you ask for a Medium-Plus. (Cross between medium and medium well) Interesting.

Fully cooked please. I refuse to have steak and whatnot where I could see bits of blood and redness *shudders*
