Dogs are so much smarter than what people give them credit for. My dog understands the word "toy" as a concept that applies to many objects. She also understands things that hers vs. things that are not hers. That's some serious abstract cognition! Not to mention her ability to decipher verbal and nonverbal communication.

I am trying to decide if I should make another pot-luck meal for the second week in a row. Thanksgiving day. The 27th because I will be at work that day. Lucky me.
A co-worker is cooking a turkey and bringing it. The only thing is ... well I just cooked something for a pot luck last week. I am kind of tired of it. Plus I am allergic to so many things that I typically do NOT eat what other people cook.
So... oh and there is the fact that my co-workers would rather eat doughnuts then eat my home made from scratch food.
So .... do I spend my money on it or not. I can't decide. Most of the recipes I enjoy making are complicated. And the last time I cooked my feet were hurting all night afterwards because I have varicose veins (not that you want to know). .... should I even bother idk.
What I would really like to do is maybe just relax. My co-workers I think just like free food in general they do not even care if it is particularly nice food.
Or maybe I should go all out and make some sort of awesome thing.
I might turn into this > Attachment 2768 ...... too chubby for my own good. Yet Thanksgiving is not the time to diet.
