KETCHIKAN, Alaska — A 23-year-old Saxman woman reportedly upset about missing a flight for an Anchorage doctor's appointment has been charged with shooting up her home.

The Ketchikan Daily News (http://bit.ly/Uk9mXw) reports Jessica DeWitt was arrested Monday after an eight-hour standoff and held on $100,000 bail.

Police searching the home DeWitt shares with her mother found about 100 spent shells and bullet holes in walls, doors, windows, the roof and two television sets.

Police seized a .22-caliber rifle with a 25-round magazine, a .30-06 rifle, a .22-caliber revolver and an empty vodka bottle.
