(ABIL) is a resource for anxiety and panic sufferers. Its stated goals are to:

> Facilitate the development of self-help groups and establish a national network for persons with panic disorders.

> Provide advocacy and information on rights related issues.

> Develop a strong link with the professional community to improve the quality of treatment available.

> Secure and disseminate current information to members, professionals and the general public.

> Work to eliminate the stigma associated with panic disorder.

ABIL support groups are currently available mainly in Virginia and Maryland, with other groups in Dallas and Palm Beach County, but it looks like you can contact 'em if you want to start a group in your area. The site also has a fair number of interesting articles about panic, anxiety, agoraphobia, treatments, etc.
