    Social Anxiety Accomplishment Made!

So yesterday I made a Social Anxiety accomplishment. I helped my mother out with her new AVON representative business by walking around the neighborhood to random houses. I went to 10 houses & successfully passed out 8 books. To be honest though my 3 year old sister helped out big time giving the books to people cause with her adorableness & puppy eyes it's hard to say NO. I would have probably been told no a lot by myself haha but the point is that I successfully went to strangers houses & talked to them while having severe Social Anxiety. I almost chickened out & would slowly walk up to the doors cause I was scared but my sister would be like "COME ON SISSY! WE CAN DO IT!". lol I love her.

We would have passed out more but we bout ran out of books & needed to save some haha. I'm just glad we live in a nice neighborhood with nice people or else I wouldn't have done this. In my last neighborhood you would get shot in the head if you did anything like that since it was "Da Hood" lol.

I felt so proud that I branched out & proved a thing to my disorder. I learned that you may have a disorder but you are not that disorder. ♥

Congrats on the accomplishment! There's no way I could go door-to-door in my current state of mind.

The thing I was most afraid about is going to a house where no women live. AVON does have some men products but the brochures I passed out are mainly for women. I basically just tried to look for signs that a woman lived somewhere like toys in the yard for kids & vehicles that a woman would ride in. Like if I saw a rusty oldish looking truck I assumed a man only lives there. Now my judgement could have been wrong but I didn't want the embarrassment of being right haha.

I remember having to go door to door selling chocolates to raise money for a school trip to Quebec in grade 8. I gave up before I even started, just handed the box to my dad and he sold them at work

    Thanks everyone!

UPDATE: Unfortunately NOBODY got back with me about the books I handed out so I didn't make a sale through the neighborhood. Good news though is that I managed to snag a few on Facebook which is a heck of a lot easier anyways cause you can talk about products & model em'.

My mother has informed me though that after this campaign we wont be selling anymore though cause we're still not making enough profits from it & too aggravating.

Sorry to hear it's not working out well enough to keep doing. Door-to-door sales can be hard.

Yeah. It's fine though. I did get in trouble for making a post on Facebook telling neighbors to not order from another lady going door-to-door with AVON as well. Apparently I was being "unprofessional" but hell... That's $$$ coming out of our pockets. I'm not doing it to make friends. Matter of fact there was this one lady I gave a book to that became rather obsessed with not me specifically but my mother & sister so now she blows my mom's phone up to socialize. She even tried to add me on Facebook but I declined cause I know she's an older Christian woman & my posts can get rather un-Christian like so I spared myself the trouble of being told to watch my mouth haha. Hmmm I ended up rambling here lol.

    Hello,
I am very happy that you have so much dedication towards your determination and having great time in life with your friends and neighbors...
I don't have friends & the neighbor thing was just business but thanks.
