Where can I find an advocate?

    As it says.

I have had a lot of issues with my support agency. Anyway, I was in court on 19 December. But I cannot go back to my flat. I wish to put in an appeal, plus complain about the way I was treated overall this year.

    Edit: I appreciate the advice!

Hi Peter C.E. Didn't you say you lived in Australia?

I looked online and there are several lists of agencies that seem helpful. I'll post a few. Let me know if you don't live in Australia. Not sure why I thought that. But basically you can go online and search Autism agencies.

    Here's a few:

I found this. Some on that list that might be helpful for you, some that aren't relevant.

Best you can do is explain your situation. I don't think they'll turn you down. There job is to give you advise on how to proceed legally.

No. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland.

This situation is really stressful; I will reflect that back to an advocate in January. There is a company called AdvoCard, but they sadly may exclude autism from their practices. I do not have anything in writing yet about being chucked out of the supported accommodation. It was not the staff; I found out it was the court deciding this.
Yikes, sorry about that. I don't know why I thought you said Australia. It looks like Otherside has some good leads for you though.

I agree with Otherside. I think if you're honest and show them that you're willing to talk about it rather than hide it, they may consider you. You may also have to show them that you learned from the experience so they don't worry about a repeat of that happening with their staff.
