But look! I'm still kicking. I do my own yardwork and housework, still kayak and hike, and I can even find my feet and bottle of pills when necessary. That counts for something right?

Nope. I like being this age. Not only do people feel I'm wise, but when I do stupid stuff, they just think I'm getting senile.

I was just wondering what the average age of members on this forum is? I'm 26 and still dealing with anxiety.

when i was a kid i suffered from separation anxiety, no idea where any of it came from but when i was 18 - 23 I had a rough time in my life and started feeling very depressed and anxious. Now I'm full blown anxiety

Welcome to the forum. Don't be so hard on yourself about being anxious at your age. There's no time limit. It happens when it happens. I'm sorry you're having a lot of anxiety right now. This is a pretty supportive place though, so I hope you stick around.
