I'm just curious. Would you? Or would you not? I'm surprised that anyone wouldn't, but then I've heard people saying it's made them who they are today and I can see there point, sort of. Just interested in what peoples views are on this.

I'M GONNA FIGHT 'EM ALL
A SEVEN NATION ARMY COULDN'T HOLD ME BACK.......
Keeping myself pretty isolated due to anxiety and depression has had positive effects on my personality and has helped me have time away from the influence of others to come to my own conclusions on various things. Of course, that same isolation also just helps feed the anxiety and depression in various ways and is a major reason why I'm still so unproductive and not financially independent as I enter the second half of my 20's. If nothing else, at this point I'd like to be able to at least lessen my problems in that regard. Since core aspects of my personality have already developed, I suppose if I could rid myself of it entirely now I'd still be myself, just not feeling so inhibited all the time. I'm fairly introverted by nature, so I still wouldn't want to have lots of interaction with a bunch of people, but at least I wouldn't be afraid to go to work or interact with a cashier at a store.

Nope - I would keep it, I like how things are going for me at the moment!

Yep.

No. If I'd press that button I'd feel inhumane

Well, the anxiety I would do away with because I do not think it serves me. What is called the term "Depression" in my opinion is a marketing lie.
Some people are not happy-go-lucky and I am GLAD for that because what would life be like if everybody acted like complete goofuses.
I would give up anxiety and keep "depression".
of course.
I am what I am, I am who I am, up to this point. to have the chance to feel uninhibited would be refreshing. I could still choose to spend time alone. I'll always be more introverted like that, as I am.
Someone needs to invent that button
Yes, i'm pretty new to this stuff and would get rid of it in a button push if I could.

Your girlfriend's silence might be her loudest scream.
If you still have more dreams than regrets, congratulations. You haven't gotten old yet.
Spend every moment like it's your last. Hug her, kiss her, hold her, like it's the last time that you ever will. Because it might be.
Can I press it twice?
Now that's it's taught me how to live on my own and not have to depend on someone for day to day tasks, I'd probably be pretty happy to press that button. I'd never become some socializing fanatic, but it'd be nice to be able to talk to people without over analyzing everything. That and talking to girls would be nice, loneliness is a bitch.
