    What fears do you have?

I have Generalized Anxiety disorder. And simple things get me stressed.
I have also become hypochondriac from time to time.
Do medication help? And do I need to take them for a long term basis?

Medication would be good. And yes, long term.

I have genuphobia myself. Yay for that.

Medication can help, but it may not be needed long term. I took Propanolol for about a year and a half, and still have it on a repeat prescription even though I don't really ever take it anymore. Some people do need it for a long time though. Don't discount other options however, such as therapy. In particular, CBT could help.

Personally, I have GAD and at the moment, a mild case of SA. I'm also claustrophobia. Really, really do not like a)lots of people b)small spaces c)Both of them together because wtf, why not, lets cram lots of people into a small space. Gives me panic attacks.
