I would have to watch Man of Steel first, but Batman v. Superman doesn't come out till next year so I still have time. I still have time.

Saw it at the weekend with my other half. It was alright. Bit slow at the start, and was at a bit of a disadvantage as I hadn't seen the previous superman film. Also, looks like DC is trying to copy marvel and make a huge franchise that leads up to a big fight where all the superheros join together.

But overall, it wasn't a bad film, although I do still prefer marvel. Bring on Civil War.

Please tell me is it best for my son to watch...?

I wouldn't say there was anything in it that wasn't suitable for kids, and there were definately a lot of families there when I was there.
