They do offer swimming classes at my college though, so maybe I'll sign up for one
Yup. Parents insisted I took lessons when I was a kid. Said it may well save my life one day.
Thankfully, never had to use it to do so, but I do swim sometimes as a form of exercise.

My mum comes from a Caribbean island but even she can't swim.

Oops i meant to vote no, but its a sorta yes, as I could never swim but finally learned for most part a year ago! I can swim now, granted not well, but im gettin better!
Yes, I LOVE swimming. It's hard to understand how someone can't, but I know that is because I learnt at a young age. I personally feel it is an important skill. Going to the pool a few times a week is a major stress release for me.

No i cant swim i tried wen i was really little and got scared wen my feet use 2 lift off floor lol but im going 2 encourage my son to swim
