On this old laptop I still use IE. But I also use the TOR browser as well. Let us simply say it keeps no track of what you do on the net. No history. No cookies. Certain sites it comes in handy on. It doesn't make you invisible. That can be done in other ways if needed. I love my films. Like to be invisible on those sites. The TOR browser helps in some ways. On my desktop computer I use Chrome.

Firefox, although Chrome is pretty good too.

Chrome is faster, Firefox is slower. However, Chrome eats up more of my memory. It's just a massive RAM hogger.

Firefox offers better privacy. If I was truly concerned I'd use a VPN or as someone mentioned above - TOR. I'd also not leave my google account logged in. It's pretty scary sometimes how i can search something on my phone, only to have it appear in ads all across my desktops browser.

Both are bad when it comes to crashing. But on the plus side, neither of them are Internet Explorer 6. =/

I mainly use Safari but I don't like it that much. It seems buggy. Certain content I can't see sometimes, so I'll have to switch to Chrome. I also get weird error messages for no reason. Lately Safari freezes and my laptop gets hot if I'm on Craigslist and I click on the google map link on adverts to see where an apartment is.

I won't use Chrome as my main browser because my laptop gets super hot when I watch videos using Chrome. The fan almost never turns on unless I watch a video using Chrome.

I was using Firefox for a long time (when I was using a Windows laptop) but then it started crashing all the time due to some flash player problem. So I switched to Chrome. Wonder if they ever fixed that problem.

I did for a bit, like a week, but went back to chrome because even though edge looks better than all the other browsers now, it's still kind of glitchy and lacking in features. I also found if I right click on text, there's no copy option, and no search option either, which is quite annoying.

Tried to, and I hear it's okay.

I like familiarity though and so I went back to Firefox.
