Hey Y'all,
for those of you who don't know me, I'm Skippy. I was once staff here, helpin my sis out with things.
I had ilness to deal with myself that got me into trouble, so it was best I left and worked on my own health, as I had spent too much time over the years helping others with so little for myself.
For those that do know me, and a general update, many things have happened while I was gone.
Shortly after I left my car was hit at 70 mph on a trip from Canada thru USA... It was a miracle I survived at all, and a resulting brain injury left me with amnesia and a coming on for 3 year long recovery. I had a lot of help from good people, and before long
I was living again, singin' and pickin' the guitar and playin' the autoharp, to finally become a true musician, touring southern Ontario, and teaming up with an award winning documentary producer to perform for "The Winding Stream" at Bloor
Cinema for 1000s of people. I am currently working on an album titled "Wildwood Flower" which is slow as I hate recording but I am in no rush on that...heh.
I returned back to my childhood home and met the love of my life who I'm
glad to have by my side today. We travelled alll through the country, camping, hiking and climbing mountains. It was nice. We now have settled down in a nice apt with a cozy fireplace, and working towards a new happy life and many more adventures.
So, that's about all for now. I'll see if'n I can't come round here more.
