Most things. I feel like I'm already old and crotchety and I'm not sure that I should at this age!
To pick an at least somewhat specific thing.... the entire entertainment industry. Music, TV, film.... There's just so little that I enjoy from what has come from it all. I could get into a deeper discussion as to why that is or why I might react the way I do.... I've exchanged lengthy emails with people on this topic, but the reasoning matters not in this instance...
I just think it all used to be better.

Holidays were more festive.
Life. Non of this tech stuff. It seemed so much more simple back then. You actually went outside and played. Stayed out all day. Only coming home for dinner. That was a better era.

I can’t think of a single thing that’s better in this country from when I was a little girl in the 60s
If you live as long as I have you’ll see it too I guarantee it. Everything is always getting worse all the time. Technology moves forward but society breaks down with it
Used to be someone with a high school diploma could get a job and afford a house and support a family. Nowadays kids think that’s some sort of fantasy made up by Hollywood when they see it in old films. It’s really sad.
Don’t get me started on how antisocial everyone has become. I think computers and the internet have turned everyone into zombies. No one knows how to socialize anymore. When I was young people would talk to each other when shopping at the grocery store. It was a fun activity where people were friendly to each other. Now it’s just a chore where there’s way too many busy people rushing to get through so they can wait in line for 15 minutes waiting for an understaffed cashier who won’t even smile at you
Things have really gone downhill and I feel like a crazy person because everyone acts like it’s normal
