Oh it’s a “pager” application on a smartphone that makes a really loud noise until you acknowledge it. It is designed to bypass silent modes and sound an alert even if you have the volume all the way down. (T_T)
Thanks for the explanation. That makes a lot of sense. I ended up taking my phone off of silent mode after I missed a time-sensitive text from my boss one time. Thankfully, I don't get a lot of texts or calls.

Best as I can, anyway. Got myself a nintendo switch, first console I bought new since the Wii in 2005.....lol. So I'm gonna play the Link's awakening remake and Animal crossing over the weekend,anywho....
Sunday here. Very relaxed and calm. A little warmer than I'd like though....
Best night's sleep I've had in about a week.... Six hours is less than ideal, but it's still a major step in the right direction.
