By the way, if anyone is in the mood for some post-apocalyptic horror, go on Youtube and search for "The Road". The scene with the naked prisoners being held in a cellar as a food source for their cannibal captors wasn't even the most disturbing thing to me.

Haha it's pretty unnerving. The cellar is dark when the protagonists go down at first, and they're moving by a single match. Dad encounters a hook hanging from the ceiling first, with thick blood dripping off it. Go a bit further, and the sound of moaning accompanies the grisly scene. What happens *next* is scarier, but I won't spoil it for you.
Anyways, for context there's basically no more food on earth because all animals and vegetation has been wiped out. Many remaining human survivors were therefore reduced to being cannibals, which the main characters had to run/hide from as they're on their journey south where it is warmer.
I put a hold for the book it's based on- it's apparently better than the movie.
I read the book a couple of years ago, and thought it was really good. I just also found it to be very.....depressing.

Yeah the movie was pretty depressing too. I'm pretty sure if hell exists, it looks like that. I honestly cannot add a single thing to that story that would make the situation worse.
The ending was weird though.

So, normally people have closet doors, right? I don't. The mess I'm staring at looks like a game of tetris. Gotta say though, I'm damn good at it. There's nothing about it that isn't messy, but it sure fits into a rectangle shape nicely!
My boss sent a mass email scorning us because there were only 3 confirmed people for the christmas party tonight. I didn't confirm because I know I'll feel all weird and awkward, being so new and not knowing anybody. I don't know if I want to ask if it's too late to confirm or not, as it would probably score me some brownie points...
