No, it is not illegal for you to use a VPN. Plenty of businesses around the world use VPN's for a legitimate reason.

It is not the illegal to use The Onion Router. Plenty of people use the Onion Router to remain anonymous. Nor is it illegal to use the Deep Web itself. Granted, it is illegal to view some of the content of the Deep Web, but seriously, you're probably not going to even get there if you don't know the actual address. And if you manage to easily find a page offering you the services of a hitman, it probably isn't serious.

Nah I don't mind. Actually it's fairly boring what I've seen.

I've mostly come across anonymous email services, bitcoin exchanges and web forums. I've saw one online store that sold drugs and would supposedly deliver them to you "securely." How that would work I don't know. There's also quite a few sites where you can't see what the content is without a login.

Yeah, I heard about the deep web and was curious so I downloaded TOR and had a look. I don't really ever go on much though. There's nothing really on there that I particularly want to use that isn't on the "normal" web.
