You're going to lose people in your life, and realize that no matter how much time you spent with them or how often you told them you loved them, it will never seem like it was enough.
Hug the ones you love.

This is just reeeally strange.
So before my divorce, I lived in a small town just south of Houston. Next to that small town is another small town, where a woman lived with her four children. There was this really horrible fire, and three of her children died in the fire, and the mom....she fell unconscious, she almost died, she had third degree burns over a lot of her body. I remember hearing about this story a few years ago, when I still lived there. It was so, so sad.
So....I watch this tv show called "Intervention" a lot....it's a good show. It's obviously about people that get caught up in drugs or alcohol (as I did at one time) and it shows their families doing an intervention at the end of the show, to hopefully get them some help. Well, this woman, the one that lost her kids in the fire, was on the show.
Anyways it's a small world I guess. I found her on fb. She has a link for people to watch the episode of the show she was on. So it's not like I was "outing" her or anything, she talks about her struggle with drugs and alcohol on her fb page. I messaged her and told her she was an inspiration, and I told her I really admired her strength and courage to fight through everything she's had to. I told her there was no need to respond, I just wanted to tell her that. She friended me. What an awesome person, what a truly incredible human being. I'm not sure I could survive all that, and still have my sanity. Wow.
