I do love it when the fire alarm goes off at stupid hour o clock and I'm forced to leave the building, not least of all because of that incessant beeping.

And no, the building has not burnt down. It's still standing. Very much standing and not on flames. Pretty sure it's safe for me to sleep in there but nope, alarms still going off.

They want it start at 5pm. They sent the email at 5:30.

Whole idea with these calls is to get you to ring them back. Costs about 10 pound a second. These have been going on for the past year over here. If you don't know a person in these odd countries ignore the calls. Is older people who make the mistake of ringing the number back. Then they get their bill.

I know. I didn't call it back. I don't know anyone in Azerbaijan, and I can't afford the ?1.50/per minute charge for an international/not EU call anyway.

Also heard about people here who've had those calls, and then despite not calling them back, have still had the huge bills. Turns out they apparently were calling Thailand or somewhere for twenty hours. Which is highly unlikely.
