lol someone just responded to a really old YouTube comment I posted on a WoW video saying 'Vol'jin for Warchief' with 'oh boy do I got news' haha yeah... I liked him though.

I'm kind of psychic with WoW though I also made a group online at one point arguing that Pandarens should be made a playable race HAH. I'm sorry everyone.

YouTube autogenerated a playlist called hiphop music for me lol and it's 99% hiphop and then just randomly Tom Sawyer by Rush. That's the right call though. They should just add Tom Sawyer to every playlist.

Didn't he tweet about this already? This chart has been floating around for a year or so and I remember people reacting before. Really is groundhog day.

Most of the shift is in people identifying as bisexual. Obviously a much larger percentage of people are bisexual than self identify as bisexual even today. Particularly among women. That isn't a high percentage at all.

Nobody knows what the categories mean anyway. I think they should just ask "how many men have you fancied" and "how many men have you fancied" and just plot that bell curve and let the audience judge where the line is between "straight", "bi" and "gay".
They said how many men have you fancied twice lol. A lot of people seem to do this like that guy yesterday who said trans men twice instead of trans women and trans men.

I don't know and then you have to consider the difference between people you find sexually arousing and people you have a romantic crush on (I haven't counted all the people I've been sexually aroused by.) And when I say I don't know I'm not being funny I actually don't know lol moreso with crushes. I think I might have undiagnosed autism and I read that can make distinguishing these things difficult (but I think it got easier with age.) There have been many ambiguous cases where I was into people sometimes but not others mostly fictional characters or when I was a kid and it's more confusing or like that time I became obsessed with this girl when I was 13 and I don't know if that was romantic or not. It was unusual anyway. Hasn't happened since with anyone I wasn't romantically attracted to. Like I would go out in public and sort of wishfully imagine random people I saw were her everytime I saw someone who resembled her. I had female friends who I was close with at certain points but don't remember feeling that way but that might be because I talked to them lol instead of becoming weirdly obsessed from a distance. S̶h̶e̶ ̶h̶a̶d̶ ̶g̶l̶a̶s̶s̶e̶s̶.💀

And yeah so it becomes more relevant if I'm sexually fantasising or 'looking up certain images' because I find women more sexually attractive than romantically. More into guys romantically. Having said that if I find a guy attractive I sometimes like to imagine they're a woman and after I was sort of attracted to Poison Ivy I basically imagined a bunch of fictional male characters in my head based on her with green skin + long red hair and one character that had both sets of genitals which this quoted tweet doesn't account for at all. Not that it matters I suppose since they don't exist.

Also there have been times where I definitely wasn't into the person but moreso a fetish interest I have that they're involved with (like the time Chandler on Friends started 'acting like a woman' because he was being hypnotised by the anti-smoking tape, or any of the cartoon things featuring transformation,) but I don't have much difficulty ruling that out as a separate thing most of the time. There are only two cases where it's sort of hard to say. One is that girl in the Marilyn Manson Tainted Love music video who I thought was kind of hot I think and the other is Poison Ivy. I was really in general obsessed with her as a child in the cartoon as well but I'm not really into her now. Most people I've ever been attracted to I eventually lose interest in.

My crushes also include a trans woman and someone who came out as non-binary later on. Plus (to a lesser extent,) attraction to other non-binary people and someone else who came out as a trans woman later on.

Like I'm not trying to be annoying. It just is difficult to categorise my sexuality using the three labels you supplied me with (homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual.) I think most people like to settle on 'heterosexual fetishist.' Other examples include 'these women have invented a form of heterosexual lesbianism' or 'I think you're heterosexual in denial' or 'when are you going to come out [as what? No really some guy online asked me this and he was reasonably transphobic especially to me although he was sexually attracted to trans women. So I assume he meant sexuality.]' or 'Your sexuality is evil/predatory' (this isn't counting people who just assumed I was a lesbian based on nothing to do with my sexuality obviously.)

Luckily I don't have to answer lol.

If every straight guy who had a dick twitch to Brad Pitt in Fight Club embraced that, we would probably see Millenial numbers much higher...
He definitely is the kind of guy straight guys would be into lol. I think Edward Norton is more attractive in that film comparatively at least but I'm not into either of them really.

All these replies ignore the fact that the GenX number hasn't increased at all.
Well of course not. Most people in gen x believe their sexuality is who they are actively dating and not who they are turned on by or attracted to, sometimes they believe it's who they actively are dating and who they dated in the past (but given the whole lesbian until graduation thing I'm guessing most don't.) Millennials and gen z are more likely to believe it's who you're attracted to or turned on by. And part of that comes from the fact that if you're not regularly dating anyone anyway and you spend a lot of time in your own head and online why not label your sexuality based on your attractions? Or as conservative gen x and older people like to complain 'there's too much porn now and it's making men think they're attracted to trans women and women think they're attracted to cis women.'

But it's not the porn it's actually the music videos and video games.

Ftr I still don't label myself bisexual for the same reason most of gen x don't lol. I don't label myself straight either because I'm interested in sexology and it feels incorrect from a sexological pov, and also because I'm non-binary.

And then real life didn't help me to categorise myself in ways other people want me to. I had an asexual relationship before with a guy, and then in another relationship with a guy didn't really enjoy stuff much and never wanted to do piv so we didn't do that. I'm not that straight sexually irl.

Also it just becomes difficult to view yourself that way when academics find you so weird they feel the need to write papers about you and the Chinese government is so threatened by part of your sexuality they block a popular fanfiction website in response to the already existing backlash lol.

    This is Paige.
I find Paige to be attractive.
If Paige were to identify as a man, I'd still find him attractive.
Therefore I have the potential to be attracted to men. Therefore I am bisexual.
I expect to be welcomed into the LGBTQ+ community.
If you disagree, you're a homophobe.

If a woman I found attractive turned out to be a man . Then I could never see that man as a woman again and will the attraction will turn into disgusted
Sure. But in my hypothetical, Paige is only identifying as a man and retains all of her femininity and female parts (and has no extra parts attached).
Still would be disgusted that she would call herself a man.
It's funny that he thought he was making a point and while obviously most men don't care and just go for people with enough female physical traits some men do and his point was ruined lol (and this isn't some left wing guy eg: 'I'm pro life pro god pro guns pro freedom and pro Trump')

This is a rookie gender bend fantasy. I don't accept him in the heterosexual fetishist community. It's a very exclusive club.

It will probably revert at some point because most of it is social contagion.
Normally I'd agree. We'd come back to the mean.

Not this time. The only thing that will bring us back, is Jesus Christ. Personally.
Not really I ship Jesus/Satan. Who else do you have? Been there slash'd that. 😂

Actually I think it's a lot like sex. I briefly attempted playing with both and then gave up on it. Of course no gamete fusing took place.

Hegemonic masculinity is incompatible with creativity so no you're not teaching your kid to be creative you're teaching your kid to be a soldier so he can die in some hypothetical war.

This will be his son in the future lol (this is actually the best case scenario):

Worst case scenario is your kid ends up in prison, dead, or Sneako of course. That being said if their kid is going to be creative or 'creative' they probably will be anyway.

The idea that humans became more feminine, less aggressive and thus could cooperate in large groups is certainly very intriguing as it would have allowed individuals with different skills to be valued and be reproductively successful due to the reduction of particularly male-male violence. In most primates the physically strongest male tends to dominate, but in early humans the smartest or the most creative males may have come to the forefront.
    rvturn lmfao.

What's with the trend of making existing conventionally attractive female video game characters uglier, less feminine, and lesbian? Lara Croft is also getting this treatment
    lol shoeonhead:

idc about the lesbian part but the defeminizing is because people naturally see masculine = strong, therefor empowering or whatever. and traditionally feminine features as weak, bad and pornographic. and for some reason to many this is seen as progressive. its goofy.
    I bet you don't. 😏

To be fair every image I'm seeing people post of Lara Croft's supposed redesign looks completely different and like they're from different games:

I'm pretty confused but the last game I played was one of the prequel games years ago (Tomb Raider 2013,) and I didn't finish it. I've played several earlier games though (Tomb Raider I, II, Legend, Underworld.)

I also think they're going for realism more because her previous look has always been fairly cartoonish. I find her femme look more attractive than some of the images I've seen. I also liked playing this level:

(I downloaded a bunch of her outfits from that game for The Sims 2 lol as a teenager.)

The juxtaposition (I really need to stop using this word,) is cool too and I like motorbikes.

But I don't think video game characters have to be attractive to me, god knows none of the men in Western games are lol. The west likes to emphasise masculinity and Eastern games like to emphasise femininity as a rule (or at least a different kind of androgyny in male characters,) so they basically just do the opposite of each other. As everyone has decided to post conspiracy theories I'm going with they're secretly in some kind of bizarre arms race lol.

Most of the discourse is transphobia directed at trans lesbians. Probably because there are many game developers who are [BEEP] trans women. It's kind of crazy the amount of comments that are like that. Also homophobia and assumptions about 'angry lesbians' not liking the original Lara, complete bi erasure of course, and complaints about unattractive women who want to kill our waifus, it's an antinatalist conspiracy to stop certain races from reproducing, etc. Very normal twitter as usual.

    And then this:

STOP MAKING EVERY FEMALE VIDEO GAME LEAD A LESBIAN!!!!
    ...
No seriously, making a female lead a lesbian was stunning and brave 25 years ago. Now its just a sad commentary on cultural decay.
Besides, where are the gay males leads? 🤔
OK calm down dude. It's not like being straight was integral to her character. Maybe to your fantasies lol. I haven't played all the games but I don't remember her sexuality ever coming up. Besides that she might be bisexual because all I'm seeing is 'has a romantic scene with another female character'

I think the only character I thought she had an interesting dynamic with was Alistair in Tomb Raider Legend but it's been a long time so I don't know if I'd still think that. I remember looking up fanfiction and couldn't find much lol. That happens about 50% of the time. These days more like 95% of the time.

Personally I usually play female characters as lesbians if given the choice or bisexual. That was never a conscious choice either lol just noticed after a while that I would do that disproportionately.

Ironically though I do remember reading a liberal article years ago about 'strong female characters' or something which complained about Lara Croft's personality being too masculine essentially like a genderswapped man or something.

Life was simpler before social media when you just locked the butler in the freezer and visited Stella's Tomb Raider site haha.

    This comment lol:

The more partners a woman has had, the less likely she ends up with her first choice.

Most women can sleep with an 8-10 man if they try, but they can't keep him because to him she is casual or a side chick.

She holds out this idea that she can get that level of man long term

'but she can't and by early 30s she starts to realize it's not going to happen. But by then men start to see her as less attractive due to age / lower fertility and her options decrease even more.

So she either settles and is less happy or stays single and you get this chart.

It's such a messed up system that every society since the Bronze Age instituted arranged marriages to avoid this.

Excess male sex drive was absorbed by prostitutes, which were between 3-5% of the female population.

    It worked sooo much better.

This is cute but I strongly doubt white women are more likely to be single than black women given the rates of single motherhood, yet that chart is just white women with a massively inflated rate of anti depressent use (it's also I believe misleading but they do still have higher rates,) so probably something else is causing that. Middle aged white men are also more likely to kill themselves so just seems like white people are miserable or have more mental health issues. Non-white people are also less likely to seek mental health support though too but don't think that's the only explanation (since so many white guys kill themselves.)

Even this guy was confused about how often the white students he knew, especially guys, killed themselves at this one school he taught at with a bunch of poor white kids (talks about it in the 'Touching Grass' section):

The research on whether women are happier single is mixed I think. Some research actually does show that women are happier if they're unmarried. That might be because a lot of women end up in marriages they're not happy with I imagine it's like happy marriage > single > settled and unhappy.

    https://www.theguardian.com/lifeands...ppiness-expert

"We do have some good longitudinal data following the same people over time, but I am going to do a massive disservice to that science and just say: if you're a man, you should probably get married; if you're a woman, don't bother."
Something's not going to work here lol... Unless a lot of men are willing to date/marry men.

Mixed race people are also likely to have more mental health issues because being mixed race is socially difficult, same with bisexual people and trans + non-binary people. I think these groups have higher rates of substance abuse too. If you transcend some kind of boundaries with your identity you're probably not going to have a fun time it seems. I'm actually not that unhappy given my life + various issues but I'm actually only 32 so there's still time haha. I have a general fear of death and disease etc so that's only going to get scarier.

Just like mr fr. (lol no seems like an exaggerated stereotype.)

Literally do get followed by cats though lol

Also they don't like prescribing meds here I've been told twice my issues aren't extreme enough to warrant meds since I'm not depressed + my anxiety isn't bad enough (even though it's part of the reason I'm a hermit hah! Yeah mental health care in the UK is a bit [BEEP] in the opposite direction of the US lol.)

I don't know if she was joking but shoeonhead said she was prescribed 4 different meds but only takes one of them and how does that even happen lol? America.

edit: Also it's funny when someone makes a claim that something worked better in the past when there's no research to compare back then.

Steven Crowder is an abusive chud. Wow. So shocked.

    Lol.

    ---

People will criticise and talk [BEEP] about people who self diagnose but always remember getting a diagnosis that's recorded somewhere in 'the system' is a bad idea if you can avoid it as it may be used against you at some point to limit your autonomy. If you think you might have some condition, you can follow advice online. There are some therapists on YouTube who make videos too.

genuinely surprised how little personal testimony and witness accounts there seems to be of conversion therapy before the process evangelicized around 1973. the modern conversion therapy memoir always suggests the blame is in religious orthodoxy, not psychiatry
moreover the modern victim of conversion is pretty much always depicted as a child who is inducted involuntarily -- before 1973 it was the adult who entered voluntarily. a lot was different
Yeah an ideal goal for most societies is to shame people who have undesired traits into hating themselves and trying to fix themselves so they don't even have to use force.

Do the current crop of "butch/femme is for lesbians only" biphobic twitter lesbians know we went through this on Tumblr several years ago and their predecessors either apologised after actually reading some bf texts or became violent TERFs? We cannot keep doing this my loves
It does get a lot less frustrating when you realise all they have to do is swallow their pride and read their own history to learn they're being ridiculous but I do feel for the non binary/trans ones who don't realise the people they're siding with hate them just as much
I think it's like interesting how suburban middle-class internet lesbians have a vested interest in ignoring urban working-class origins of our vocabulary. such gay men & lesbians & queens all hung out together which is why we have shared -- if somewhat divergent -- vocabularies

this becomes super obvious if you look at a rarer term like "kiki", which means a lesbian who doesn't know yet if she's butch or femme, but also means two drag queens that date each other (kai-kai), but also means a ball for minors in ballroom, but also means
Yeah I'm pretty sure gay men have been using 'femme' for ages also trans people have way bigger issues. I mean they've literally banned medical care for neurodivergent adults in Missouri and it won't stop there which just makes this even more fucked.

edit: looks like they've temporarily blocked it. The requirements would essentially ban it for almost everyone since it blocks transition for minors and then blocks it for people with anxiety + depression (which is almost all trans people,) forces doctors to screen for autism (but unclear if it then blocks you, but you can't treat autism so based on the wording of the bill I assume autistic people would not be allowed to ever transition or people with ADHD etc,) and then there's the vague 'social contagion' thing again so I guess they can just arbitrarily say you're suffering from social contagion if they don't want you to transition and none of the other things happen to apply.

A leading Olympian has said it was "wrong and unfair" for Glenique Frank, a biological male identifying as a woman, to have been allowed to compete in the female category of the London Marathon.
    Oh no:

Glenique Frank placed 6,160th out of 6,315 in her gender category.

Bro, cannons are not lethal. Out of most cannon shots fired in history, how many do you think fucking hit a person? Less than 1 percent. Modern guns are too lethal. If you had a cannon vs an assault rifle, the assault rifle would kill more. Thats why they need to be banned. Jfc
    Community notes:

    Cannons are lethal.

    https://www.civilwarmed.org/effects-of-artillery/
Wow. Peak twitter you might say. The hilarious thing about this is that it almost sounds like they're making a case for cannons to be legal instead lol.

It is legal in York to shoot a Scottish person with a crossbow (except on Sundays.) Not sure the Scottish part was necessary but crossbows are cool so I can see why they make an exception.

(obviously if you do that you're still going to prison though.)

People are smoking a lot of weed these days. My brother said I had a low voice recently hugboxing though. I've heard it on recording. I do think it's different when I'm not recording myself though because I'm more comfortable but still not pretty low lol come on.

Also the ahh biology part cracked me up.

Trans guys exploit this all the time by dressing like e-girls so people view them as femboys though. Where we're at lol.

I'm convinced these weird dudes calling cis women trans just wanted to [BEEP] men from the jump.
It's a sound analysis because the only other people who do this sort of thing are m̶e̶ people on tumblr with bios like this:

Hide your rockstar because I'll turn them gay.
(to be clear I'm not saying this is my bio on tumblr. It is someone's bio. I'm saying I'm similar.)

And then refer to guys as their girlfriends or lesbians because they find it hot. And sometimes claim they're joking while telling lesbians not to kill them.

    Press x to doubt.

Slight difference though. The people who find it hot necessarily acknowledge the actual sex + sexuality + gender of people because they want to change it (chasers,) where as these people seem to delusionally think everyone is the opposite sex and fear that.

So you know the demonisation/fetishisation dichotomy. Social media schizophrenic vs predatory vampire doing their best (sort of. It could be worse lol.)

I was reading this article about Edmund White yesterday because someone quoted something he said:

[basically to summarise he talks about how he doesn't relate to feminine gay men, but has fantasised maybe 4 times in his life about taking on a female role during sex and getting pregnant. The actual quote is probably a bit too graphic to post I dunno.]

So I googled him. The closest to this I've come is 'sex dreams' where I'm crossdressing (and I always think of it as crossdressing despite my body being female probably due to the nature of the dreams being erotic and somewhat out of character, but yeah wearing certain feminine clothing.) And that's apparently related to this.

    https://www.theguardian.com/books/20...dship-so-what-

I have a tough time, because I'm aware of writing for many middle-aged, middle-class women, and I'm writing about something most women don't like at all: male homosexuality. Straight men are turned on by lesbians, whereas straight women unless they're young and kinky are not turned on by gay men. Years ago Playboy had a quiz in which they asked, "What's your most exciting forbidden fantasy" Half the women asked said they wanted to try lesbianism. Only 3% of men wanted to try sex with another man. It has to do with the sexist nature of our culture. Men are taken much more seriously. So I have to try to place my experiences in a perspective that's more general, told in a voice that's kind of sympathetic and brotherly.
Most people don't like this though. Straight/bisexual women spend a lot of time fantasising about straight men being gay or lesbian, and it's still not really allowed. Society finds it ideal to consume stuff that is largely sexless platonically/neutrally. Most people hate being sexualised by certain people in certain ways (differs depending on the person.) Some people care less about social shaming than others.

Edmund White had a pretty colourful history:

My protagonist in A Boy's Own Story was much less precocious intellectually and sexually than I was. He was shyer. If I'd written about myself as the freaky boy I really was, very few people could have identified with the novel. That book came out in 1982. I didn't think it was quite the period yet for my own true story. In real life, I had had sex with 500 men, most of them older than I was, by the time I was 16. The boy in the book has one or two experiences, with boys his own age.
hate them or not, people like sneako and andrew tate speak the truth. never in human entire history Men have been this feminine and out of shape like they are now. There is a war agaisnt masculinity
I cannot take the complaints seriously. The complaining has been going on for over a hundred years at least in newspapers. That means that no matter what nobody will ever be satisfied.

The only masculine man left is Alan Moore. I decided this. I am right. (He doesn't use social media so he's the chosen one lol.)

Your grammar is atrocious. And just because you don't personally like this sneako guy doesn't make that statement any less true. Masculinity is shrinking and these people are putting in work to make it happen. You can not like someone if you want but don't be in denial about reality
They're not wrong. Propaganda I made earlier (is it still propaganda if it's an unlisted video you post on a mostly dead internet forum? Yes because I want to be edgy too. Also I'm from Luton just like Andrew Tate and that's way too entertaining not to larp about. Almost Shakespearean):

(When I made this video I used a glitch effect for the text at the end that says 'why the [BEEP] productions' and just noticed it alternates between why and shy which is so ironic but definitely not designed intentionally that way since it's just a random effect.)

Don't worry though you're all really annoying and being hot is a prerequisite.

Also I can't take credit I stole this idea:

Her music fits Loki a lot better lol. Most pop music does because he has girlboss energy lol.

Ftr the entire MCU plotline with Loki and Thor is (transparently,) an attempt to bridge this gap between traditional masculinity and androgyny. Whether that was a conscious decision or not.

This is better though cause it's more subconscious:

Or because it gets really good musically after 1:30 and I always thought those facemasks were cool. But either way.

And a lot of Marina and the Diamonds music is simultaneously critiquing the attitudes/behaviour/culture while identifying with it like Bret Easton Ellis's relationship with American Psycho.

    Marilyn's bungalow, it's number seven
In the pink palace where men made her legend
Owned by a sheik who killed thousands of gay men
I guess that's why he bought the campest hotel in L.A. then

    😏 The guy in question

Marilyn Monroe had numerous sexual relationships with women btw and the laws in Brunei mean women who have sex with women are caned or imprisoned.

I kind of need to mash up American Psycho clips of him saying 'I simply am not there' with Fear of a Blank Planet album lyrics. The challenge of trying to find a video with that clip without bloody violent clips included. Oh well this will do I guess.

How can I be sure I'm here?
The pills that I've been taking confuse me
I need to know that someone sees that
There's nothing left, I simply am not here

    A good impression
    Of myself
    Not much to conceal
    I'm saying nothing
    But I'm saying
    Nothing with feel

    I simply am not here
    No way I...
    Shut up, be happy
    Stop whining, please

There's absolutely no way Anesthetize wasn't partly inspired by Patrick Bateman.

Why has nobody else noticed? They probably have lol but still.

    The impulse is pure
    Sometimes our circuits get shorted
    By external interference

    Signals get crossed
    And the balance distorted
    By internal incoherence

    A tired mind become a shape-shifter
    Everybody need a mood lifter
    Everybody need reverse polarity

    Everybody got mixed feelings
About the function and the form
    Everybody got to deviate
    From the norm
