It takes about 2 minutes on twitter to stumble on a bunch of psychopaths and people who's entire reason for being on twitter is sitting around insulting people. There's an entire section of twitter just devoted to insulting women and then those women insulting men. And I think the really stupid thing is that it's not just incel type guys doing this there's actually conservative guys who somehow think this is an effective recruitment strategy instead of encouraging women to destroy them. I mean when even Nick Land is criticising your approach that says something:

Dear Right-wing extremist friends, you should be trying to maximize the hell facts / gratuitous offense ratio, not maxing gratuitous offense. It seems as if you find this hard to understand.
This all got a lot worse after Elon Musk took over like the endless stream of fascists and the women who just openly talk about how they want men to die and kill themselves every 5 minutes.

And somehow people think this take over was a good thing? It's absolutely insane. It's fucking hilarious that Jordan Peterson decided to start ranting about instagram instead of twitter when twitter is so much worse and just for political reasons. Twitter was always terrible and somehow - against all odds - it's actually gotten worse.

I know women are, by nature, more empathetic. And most people on this site would cheer on her "empty egg carton." But I really do feel bad for her.
Imagine assuming that men are going to react that way lol because you think the way men act on twitter is normal. That isn't a normal sex/gender difference. Those men are bitter psychopaths.

Hoeflation is real and it gets worse the older you get. Women in their late 20's are NOT as attractive as women in their early 20's, by a mile.

Wrinkles already starting to show, and definitely significant weight gain.
^ Also there's no way I can write this without it sounding like I'm bragging but I think this has a lot to do with your genetics and metabolism and also whether you have kids. I don't put in effort really and I've always been slim. I'm 32 now and still slim. My brother is 30 and he's very skinny so yeah.

    So that's right wing men.

    This is left wing women:

how are you 28 and not completely humiliated to be in a relationship w a 20 year old
Yas was NINETEEN in The Woman Who Fell To Earth?!
The Doctor really transitioned then decided 20 minutes later "I should be a predatory older lesbian"
They're talking about Doctor Who I guess? Not even Human. This is like the left wing equivalent of conservatives triggered by Doctor Who switching gender....

19 year olds are grown-ass women

I met my wife when I was 18 and she was 30, so you can get in the sea
They're not going to like this:

18% of people in female same-sex relationships (to use the authors' language around gender) have an age gap between partners of ten or more years, compared to 4% of people in female-male relationships.
Age gap discourse is for straight people who have the luxury lol. Most women don't date women irl. They just tweet about age gap discourse and then watch lesbian porn lol.

    Thoughts on 19 and 33

my first main relationship was with a 33 y/o when I was 19 just getting some thoughts on it
Why would you need someone else to tell you how to feel about your own life?

And they're all just trapped in this cycle but neither side seems to realise the impact they have on the other side or is ignoring that.

The feeling you get on that site is so unpleasant but I go back there now and then out of morbid curiosity. There was a year or two where I browsed the site a lot more but I certainly couldn't now because it's so bad.

Then there was some tiktok video someone posted on twitter as well but this is just reaching peak stupid:

like you're pushing thirty dating a 22 year old in a band it does not get more delusional than that.
And then the woman who is 'pushing 30' is 25 almost 26 dating a 23 year old because they also got his age wrong. So that one's just envy. 'Guy in a band' kind of makes that clear lol. Not that it would have mattered either way but they also got all the ages wrong.

Oh my God and the bottom of the screen there's also this comment:

I can see her being one of those mum's who tries to seduce her kid's friends when they are older
    She looks very attractive. Obviously.

JK Rowling calling trans activists rapist's rights activists:

Except trans identified males are NOT statistically more likely to 'be victims'.
    So there is that.🙄
Seems to be the case in the US:

It shouldn't be surprising trans women especially are more likely to work as sex workers, and LGBT+ people are often sexually harassed as part of homophobic bullying which is weird... Had this experience but it wasn't a huge deal for me just mild harassment (the ongoing abuse, manipulation etc for most of my life had long term negative effects, but it wasn't all homophobic or sexual.) Also these rates are much higher for black trans people I believe.

she continuously impresses us by showing one can indeed go even lower
The bottom of twitter is endless unfortunately so yeah she could go a lot lower. The things I have read. Terfs calling all trans women rapists is pretty much standard discourse for the past decade or so on various websites.

Also, since we're gloves-off now, I should disclose that when I did the podcast, Megan casually mentioned to me that Rowling had compared FTM top surgery to frontal lobotomy. I can't verify that JKR said this, but Megan presumably could if she has the recording.
    She's really extra.

Oh my god there's a song lol:

She's not wrong with the lobotomy comparison
Yes I'm constantly saying this. Boobs are the brain of the torso
Lol. She's not a big fan of body autonomy I guess. More infantilising nonsense.

Hoping Jo Rowling start a campaign with Allison Bailey to stop men with gynaecomastia cutting off their breasts "that haven't felt a lover's caress".
Oh yeah that was so gross.

What happened to Ayn Rand? I feel like she was the most popular conservative author in America ten years ago and never gets mentioned now.

It's wild how "conservative" means something drastically different. In the Obama years the rhetoric was all about markets, taxation, constitutional originalism, etc. and now it's like, vaccines are transing our kids and elections are fake
It's even worse than that. Fascism and other far right viewpoints are just completely part of the online overton window.

Someone needs to hack and destroy the website honestly. I know there's other stuff going on on that website I have a twitter account for gaming stuff, but there's just way too much shit. But then I thought tumblr is pretty great now, don't really want that seeping onto other sites that have gotten better overall.

Also apparently John Cena said in an interview that he had sex with a very overweight woman and someone responded to that on twitter saying:

I understand why some women genuinely hate men
Which is confusing because what's wrong with that? Although the conversation was kind of rude. (and this YouTube clip I found is longer than the one on twitter so it gets even worse.) I don't really get why it was a question that came up like 'do you ever have sex with ugly chicks' what? Did he hear about it happening before that show?

Notice attractive men are always equal opportunity but the ugly men are the mains ones with "preferences" 🥴
A lot of men with high sex drives will have sex with almost any woman who offers. Plus his friends turned it into some weird competition so he obviously wanted to prove them wrong. Attractive guys generally aren't bitter and probably have higher self esteem so if they like sex and they have nothing better to do will probably just go along with it. Completely different story for a relationship obviously.

I think it's also the culture he's in. I'm pretty sure if I offered sex to most guys I knew in uni they would have rejected that (not that I was really into that in practice even in a relationship as it turns out,) and a couple openly talked about how they didn't find me attractive and why lol. They were nerdy guys. I actually had a crush on one of them (they later came out as non-binary,) though I don't think I still did by that point, not sure on the timeline now. I've always been slim too with long hair but my body language etc is very off putting I'd imagine. One of them did point out I seemed too young because of the way I acted, then the other I think felt my chest was too small lol. I have the opposite opinion honestly but mostly ignore that area of my body. That was the same guy who was also questioning why all the women on the course we were studying were lesbians and tagged me and someone else on Facebook. I think that's because he was trying to talk with me at one point and I wasn't responding in a way he liked.

Lots of socially inexperienced, emotionally unstable and generally socially awkward people (including myself.) Obviously spoke about the insane experience with the guy I went on a date with and then rejected. Some were also kind of egotistical and judgemental. One guy I knew back then who I don't think was unsuccessful with women introduced himself to me by saying 'you look like the most normal one here.' I knew a couple of guys who had casual sex or people made out with people at parties or on nights out during that time (mostly girls with other girls tbh,) but generally most people were looking for relationships so pickier.

But yeah if I was more interested in having casual sex I'd probably have casual sex with women because most men don't respect women who do that and are dicks about it.

Damn I think a lot of people are very interested in beta builds of The Sims games especially 1 and 2 but this is insane:

They were sending messages to the developers too:

You really can just be harassed like this for anything online.

My husband, after taking a photo of me in a sexy outfit which he has specifically told me is sexy: If I told people this was Geddy Lee, they'd believe me

#shit my husband says #geddy lee #70's geddy apparently #thanks??
    I need to see this.

But it's Tumblr so there are no photos lol.

Oh my God I've just seen age gap discourse for The Sims 2 while browsing lol.

HELLO THE MOTHERFUCKING AGE GAP BETWEEN JOHNNY AND CIRCE THOUGH????

I DONT CARE IF JOHNNY IS AGED UP IN THIS, THE AGE GAP IS STILL SO FUCKING GROSS

PLEASE STOP POSTING THIS WEIRD SHIT

#tw gross #ts2 #circe beaker #tw age gaps #strangetown #the sims 2 #johnny smith #dear god this so so messed up #please stop posting this [BEEP] #log off and touch grass please 😊
When will it end? Also it's so much funnier because the post is talking about someone making a harem of blond men for Circe Beaker where half the Sims are now crossdressing. Johnny is also an alien-Human hybrid Sim and the cannon Maxis storyline (that the developers created,) with his family is that Johnny's dad is an alien called Pollination Technician 9 that impregnates Human men (this is also a gameplay feature in The Sims 2 - male Sims can get abducted and sometimes impregnated by aliens and if they're not knowledge Sims most of them find this experience unpleasant and get a negative memory. So it's cartoonish but this is basically rape,) and before he retired he abducted Johnny's grandad Glarn Curious (dead at the start of the game.)

Johnny's grandad gave birth to a set of twin half-sisters who are also alien-human hybrids but he later abandoned them leaving them with another Sim (it's implied from photos that that Sim was his wife who he divorced, but it's not made clear and isn't set up that way in the game files,) to start a new Human Sim family with another woman (Kitty.) He had three sons who are I think loosely based on The Lone Gunmen from the X-files and one of them (Pascal) is also pregnant with an alien child at the start of the game and there's a scripted event where one of the other brothers (Vidcund,) will also get pregnant with an alien child if you let that event run so they get abducted.

Pascal is also friends with a Sim - Nervous Subject - who is being kept by his adopted parents (Loki and Circe Beaker,) as a test subject for various experiments. He is also the biological son of the Grim Reaper and a Sim who it's strongly implied is a serial killer (Olive Specter,) who killed a number of Sims to get his attention (including the mother of some other Sims in that neighbourhood after she left her family.)

In addition to his three sons Glarn Curious also had a daughter named Jenny with Kitty, who later went onto marry Pollination Technician 9 and they have two kids including Johnny. There's also a large age gap between Jenny Smith and Pollination Technician 9. But that's all fine. And then there's just that in all caps. It's beyond parody. 😂

I mean I don't ship it lol. Johnny is supposed to be in a poly relationship with his cannon girlfriend Ophelia (Olive Specter's niece who she lives with, Olive possibly killed her parents) and best friend Ripp Grunt (Olive possibly killed his mum.) Also they're not best friends in cannon they just have a high relationship lol most people make them best friends though.

I'm not going to post the image here I guess but there's this text description:

image description: In a low-lit room with stone walls, red carpet, and a pink loveseat shaped like a pair of lips, Circe and her harem of blonds gather. Abhijeet Cho wears red briefs and black thigh high stripper boots and is giving two thumbs up. An aged-up Johnny Smith wears a red vest, no shirt, and blue pants, and sits cross-legged on the floor, grinning. Loki Beaker stands in the front, wearing a short black nightie and bob haircut while doing a "ta-da" pose. Circe Beaker stands in the back, grinning, with her hands on her hips. She wears shiny black boots, a black jumpsuit, and what appears to be a pimp hat. Vidcund Curious, in the very back, wears a black leotard, stockings, high heels, and braided pigtails. He is waving and winking. Text labels all of these characters and also reads, "I can't play Circe Beaker without giving her a harem of blond men. They still do experiments, but not the way the family bio might be implying.."
Also the post is part of an archive and a repost of some old Sims secret thing so nobody knows who/where the original poster is.

Yeah I think so. I like The Sims 3 a lot too but The Sims 4 was sadly a big step down in most ways. Even more so at release when it didn't have toddlers etc. I did install TS2 again a few years ago from an old set of discs I have but it's not really recommended to do that these days and EA only briefly made it available for download (for free actually, around 2015 I think?) On Origin and I didn't pick up that version then. I guess they didn't want to deal with all the technical questions and support it would need since you do need to download a bunch of stuff to get it working properly on newer PC's now. I generally try to avoid pirating games but there's not much of a choice with The Sims 2.

I had this weird nightmare where I was in the countryside of some town (not my town seemed to be a fictional one,) up on some hill and then something (invisible) started throwing sky scrapers around in the distance.

The dream actually started (I think,) with me having control of some kind of cinematic camera type thing (like something from a video game lol,) and moving down inside some tower that stretched underground into this kind of dungeon. So the top was above ground with windows but then it went quite a bit underground and there were what looked like furnaces as you went down but when I looked closer it wasn't fire but electrical lights. Some guy was enthusiastically talking about the tower but I can't remember what he was saying.

The skyscraper bit was really scary in the dream so I was with some other people including members of my family and we were running away and I remember thinking in the dream 'run horizontally don't run vertically like that stupid prometheus film' it haunts my nightmares apparently. 😂

Honestly I love how there's almost always some stupid thing like this in my dreams even when they're nightmares.

But the skyscraper never got that close to us in the end even though it moved pretty far.

Then found this area while running away which was suddenly urban where a bunch of people were sitting around because something had clearly happened nearby. I think maybe there was some kind of war going on involving insane technology but then I woke up which was fortunate for my emotions but not really fortunate for the potential story. There's also sadly a lot of other parts of the dream and conversations I just don't remember now.

Also I can see this album influenced my dreams:

"Two siblings, Harmony (the albums namesake) and Jamie, travel on the underground to a London highrise skyscraper, get caught in the crossfire of a terrorist attack, proceed to move up a never ending staircase. Rest of the story is sorta a David Lynch dreamlike sequence to whether what can be determined as real and a bit of sci-fi/possible extraterrestrial involvement gets introduced."
The tower I was looking inside was like some old tower though not a skyscraper. I was supposed to be going there to the old tower or somewhere near by because I had to do something for my mum which I think involved pressing this button but the reason why wasn't really something that made much sense and is kind of vague now (I think pressing the button would submit some university project or something she had to submit,) and some other stuff was happening then too then that I forgot. This was just before some invisible thing started chucking skyscrapers around.

This is also reminding me that it's national novel writing month because the last time I actually put significant effort into attempting it (but I only got 30-40k~ words I think not 50k) part of the story I was writing involved the London Underground and some kind of magic train they were in turned upside down or something weird. This was back in 2013. Really badly written and cringe, one character sounds like quite the edgelord. It also sounds like knock off poor quality Harry Potter or something like something that would happen (why are British people obsessed with trains?) And I also removed various contractions using the find and replace tool to try and boost the word count which is kind of cheating but yeah I was still way off lol only 38k words (I don't know if the lack of contractions here are just how he thinks or not because it's been a decade since I wrote this)

This part is mostly unnecessary to read but involves the edgelord thing I was talking about lol. He was like this non-Human being (kind of a bat-like humanoid based on gargoyles originally,) from another world who was a soldier in a fantastical war and ended up bound to the head of a female child on Earth by this cult to neutralise him as a threat. At the point the story begins she's a young adult at university. Just cause the relationship Tora is her friend:

    "OK, I think I'm ready."

    "1,"

Xaivin gripped the edge of the metal grate harder.

    "2"

He could hear the sea gull's caw out at sea.

    "3"

This better work, he thought, as they both pulled with all their might. The grate was barely moving, and Xaivin was about to stop trying when all of a sudden it slid all the way off towards him. He dived out of the way to stop it landing on him and ended up scraping his knee against the sand and rock.

"Wow, I did not see that coming. Are you all right?"

"Fine," he spat out. "Let us just hurry up down."

"Are you sure you will be able to climb down OK with your leg like that."

She had a point, there was a considerable amount of blood and it was painful to bend his knee now. Kit was not going to like this when she regained consciousness.
"I will have to make do."

"I'll go down first and I'll call up for you to follow."

The metal rungs were cold to the touch, but thankfully not wet as he had assumed they might be. Kit is boots had a fairly good grip on the bottom of them too, which was perhaps his one saving grace in all of this. He tried to keep his knee as straight as possible, but the sharp pain caused him to hiss out at even the slightest movement.

There was a small part of him that found it hilarious. Though an even larger part found it infuriating. He had once been an adept warrior that had suffered worse wounds by simply training, and now here he was; almost flawed by a small graze on his knee. It was pathetic and if he ever got the chance he would kill every last person who had been involved with his transference. He had leave the best for last of course. Eldrevin, the betrayer that he was, his death would have to be particularly brutal. He often comforted himself with daydreams of exactly how he would and could carry out his revenge. In the past, daydreams had been something he had had no time for, but that was in a previous life. Now he had all the time in the world for dreams and plots, and little for anything else.

Rung by rung he made his way down the ladder, until he realised that he could actually see the bottom. Illuminated just slightly by a faint light source.
"You can come down now, I have found the bottom. It is not much further." He yelled up.

The sound of Xaivin jumping from the last rung to the ground below echoed throughout the tunnel. Luckily it had not been too great a drop. It did not stop his leg from protesting though, and he hoped there was not much further to go.
He waited for Tora to reach the bottom and they made their way through the long winding tunnel, following the mysterious floating candles as they did.

There were a couple of turning points that they could have taken instead, as they walked through the labyrinthine network of tunnels, but Xaivin considered it unlikely that they led where they needed as they were not lit. Finally they reached a metal door. It seemed to be a simple push door and it looked quite out of place in the tunnel.

"I believe we are getting somewhere."

"I hope we are closer to gotten somewhere. It feels like we have been walking for years. You'd think they did not actually want to see you and Kit."

"Nobody asked you to come along." He said, pushing open the door.
This is the first part involving the underground train:

His eyes were immediately assaulted with harsh white electrical lighting, forcing him to squint as his eyes adjusted. It was quite the contrast with the dimly candle lit tunnels he had just walked through.

"What on Earth... It looks like the London underground or something."

Xaivin slowly opened his eyes, and realised that they were in fact in an underground station of some kind. It seemed to have been long abandoned. Grimy, layers of dirt lined every surface. Faded posters stained with time. Warnings about what to do during an air raid, and a barely readable map of the underground half torn were still stuck to the side of the tunnel.

"Oh my god it is, we are in an abandoned underground station. Oh, this is ridiculously cool. Kit if there was ever a time to wake up now would be it."

"How did they send us here?"

Xaivin was wondering that himself. He felt a little in awe, but not for the same reasons as Tora. The work involved in creating a spell that would take them from tunnels beneath Dorset's coast line to the city of London was quite extensive. At least without proper training, or a considerable amount of mana. He wondered how they were doing it.

Tora was humming as she danced up and down the platform examining things.

"Did you hear that?" She called all of a sudden.

Xaivin listened closely, sure enough, there was the unmistakeable sound of an approaching train.

"That can't be right, this station has to have been abandoned since around the time of the war."

"I imagine this has something to do with the people we are looking for."

As the train pulled into the platform, it became obvious quickly that no one else was on the train and that it was as old and abandoned as the station itself. Definitely summoned by magic.

"This is a little excessive." Xaivin said as the train's doors slid open for them.

The interior was decorated in a different fashion from a modern day tube train. Xaivin decided to stand as the train pulled away from the station. He did not want to bend his wounded knee again. Tora meanwhile began taking photos of the

inside of the train. Had she been doing it on the plaform too? He had not noticed.

"It is unlikely that those photographs will last."

"What do you mean?" Tora asked, frozen in an awkward position mid shot.

"I mean this train is likely to be an illusion. The kind of mana needed to create an object from scratch is more than they could have spared." The train all of a sudden lurched to the side and Xaivin grabbed hold of the hand pole next to him, to stop himself falling over.

"I'm fairly certain this is an ordinary tube train, adjusted slightly to appear old. The spell will fade when we get off, and this train will go back to wherever it was taken from. Your photos will only show the real, modern day train."

"God do you have to ruin everything?" Tora said, collapsing into a seat.

Xaivin was not sure he liked the fact that Tora seemed so comfortable with him, but he supposed it was to be expected given that he was inhabiting her best friend's body.
    Second part:

The train was picking up speed now and the lights were flickering on and off in a bizarre fashion. The screeching sounds that had sounded mildly worrying when the train had started moving had now grown to such an impossibly high
volume that it was almost excruciating to listen to. Unfortunatly his hands were occupied with holding onto the bar, which he was now gripping with both hands, so he had nothing to cover his ears with.

"Is it just me or is this train going faster than it should be?"

Tora was all of a sudden thrown forwards out of her seat and the train began to tilt upwards at an awkward angle.

    "Grab onto something." Xaivin called.

Tora who had been unable to find anything to grab onto, flew backwards across the carriage which was now almost at a 90 degree angle as the train seemed to fly across the tracks. Xaivin grabbed hold of the collar of her jacket, just as she soured past his neck.

"Don't let me go." Tora said.

"You realise if I was inclined to so, I would not have grabbed you in the first place."

The screeching had reached an almost deafening crescendo now, and Xaivin was pretty sure that Kit is ears would sustain permanent hearing damage if it went on much longer. The carriage was rocking backwards and forwards, causing him to bang his wounded knee repeatedly against the floor and Xaivin felt his fingers slipping against Tora's coat.

"I am not sure how much longer I can hold onto you." he said.

    "Please try."

The train was rocking like a pendulum now. Side to side repetition.

"How is this even possible?" She screamed, over the loud screeching of the train.

Xaivin lost his hold on Tora's coat, she threw her hands out to catch his, but they slipped through his own and she flew backwards, saved from slamming into the next carriages door only by loosely grabbing hold of a chairs arm rest. It did not look like she would be able to hold on for long.

Well, I tried my best. Kit will be incredibly annoyed if she dies, he mused to himself.

What the [BEEP] is going on? A voice echoed in his head.

Ah, you are finally awake, perfect timing as usual.

    You let go of Tora!

    It was hardly on purpose.

Xaivin watched behind him and just as Tora's hands finally slipped from the arm rest the train crashed forwards, back to its proper angle and Xaivin found himself lying flat on the floor of the train. The tremor of the crash reverberated through his body leaving him dazed for about a minute. Finally he climbed shakily to his feet. Tora was still lying on the floor of the train but she was moving slightly, so she was not dead.

    I'm taking control back now.

Would you? I think I might actually pass out.
This was probably around the time I first started reading about abandoned underground stations and stuff like that online. I do think they're pretty cool. Like Aldwych. There are also some tunnels beneath my town which were created for world war 2 and they have lots of old signs and stuff down there which is also cool. I don't think I knew that back then though.

There are lots of weird patterns with current political discourse and conspiracies it's creepy. I like to shitpost that I wrote Jordan Peterson lol because as a teenager I also wrote the word chaos everywhere and then nature was a big theme in my writing and art and also dragons sometimes, but really it's just that most people think along similar lines and nothing really ever changes much. Every book you read can make sense in contemporary society and seems like a prophecy. 'It's 1984 (tm)'

Also it relates to personal stuff and identity stuff but that's not surprising it came from my brain lol. Same as with the stuff I wrote as a teenager lol.... Actually when I talked about this story years ago online someone said it reminded them of Twilight I think, which really triggered me hahaha. Because the relationship between the two main characters (who are stuck in the same body,) was not supposed to be romantic or sexual. But in hindsight I guess that interpretation could make sense based on one etiological theory of how my sexual/gender identity developed. Ironically though I actually think the concept is a lot more like one of Stephenie Meyer's other novels The Host:

The Host is a 2008 science fiction romance novel by Stephenie Meyer. The book is about Earth, in a post-apocalyptic time, being invaded by a parasitic alien race known as "Souls", and follows one Soul's predicament when the consciousness of her human host refuses to give up her body.
Which I probably did read a couple of years before that or something. (I don't remember when I read it but I have.) Not really though it's more like the inverse of that. He wasn't supposed to have any control over her body but he does sometimes when she loses emotional control and then some other times later I don't actually remember my own story lol 100% and I wrote 1000s of words of notes and there are lots of different overlapping stories in my mind involving that universe so yeah.

Just noticed this on her wikipedia page:

Having no prior experience as an author, she conceived the idea for the Twilight series in a dream.
Lol fingers crossed. That's actually one of the reasons I decided to start making gaming YouTube videos LOL. I had a dream that I had a gaming YouTube channel with 2000 subscribers and I was in some like makers workshop type place (I'm not sure that's the word I'm looking for... Like those spaces where you turn up and build stuff. I don't know why I'm even trying to think of some fancy new way of saying it. Just a workshop + studio space,) for gaming YouTubers which was cool (well that never happened but at least I got over 2000 subscribers.) But there were a few other reasons too. I'd wanted to do it 7 years before I started making videos but at the time anxiety and other factors stopped me from really trying.

My first relationship started that way too - had dream, pursued relationship. That was less successful. So I don't rate this method for personal relationships.

I had an idea vaguely for something I want to write too this year and did start writing something before like a month or so ago but it's not all together.

This is so narcissistic and unnecessary lol. 'This reminds me of meeeee' *insert massive long quotes* but yeah haha.

But yeah so I don't really have a story (so prob won't happen unless I just start freewriting which is probably a better idea anyway at this point, but I've already lost a week,) but my current ideas are all circling around a character that's a bit too heavily based on my life but I feel there's a lack of train wreck (metaphorical,) stories in the West though an abundance of such stories in Japan. But also incorporating like my interest in aliens, the North American desert landscape, vending machines etc. Then I wanted to incorporate [town] in some way because I'm still thinking about what Alan Moore said about 'ghosts.' In that one interview.

No matter what you do, you're worshiping consciousness (even the bliss of deep sleep). Every joyful and every pleasurable act that can be had is done by and for consciousness (both the moral and immoral). Every lessening of suffering, too. People are seeking fulfillment for consciousness and consciousness only.

Yeah but in this reality all those hobbits were already dead (twice in some cases, which also needs explaining I suppose lol,) so how did they kill Aragorn lol?

    Lol:

    SSSniperWolf.

Zach added sniper wolf to the invite to dinner question as if she isn't already standing outside the house💀
I want a clip just of the part where he says 'I was short, white, and wore glasses and nobody was feeling my inner gangster.'

I guess he means in school (don't know the context of that clip,) because he's pretty tall. It would be great as a reaction clip though lol.

I've ended up in a very weird uh.....

He's just so primal when he screams. I love it
    help??
Is it weird that I find his scream kind of adorable?
Nope I love when he screams
    you're not the only one
Not at all. Probably weird that I find it hot, though.
1:18-1:22 is pretty great. Also the first one but mostly just because his voice is high pitched.

thank god im not alone. most scenes from prisoner just make me feel bad though
Why do your comments make me can't stop thinking about the Balls Whip Scene in Casino Royale?
What if Paul Dano was in that scene instead of Daniel Craig?
    the whine 😫😫
this just made my mental heath rise astronomically
I come to watch this video at least twice a week
Why do I like hearing him scream so much wtf
when i need cheering up i just watch this video and idk why.
I would do things to him that I wouldn't do to a farm animal.
^ that is actually a quote lol.

danonation is such a niche crowd i love us

I don't think that video had that scene from The Batman film. I find it pretty funny actually lol but I haven't watched that film:

Also yeah his scream at the beginning does sound like Lemongrab lol (about half the comments were saying that.) Forgot about this this remix is great:

I like the subtle surreal horror vibes:

^ Lol I meant to edit out like 75% of that post because it's just unnecessary trash/sadism rambling but then I just like forgot to save the edited post because I was about to sleep and must have forgot. What a nightmare. Might as well leave it now I guess. Most of my posts/thoughts are problematic anyway.

I am a bit sadistic (like on a personal level,) but mostly I'm fascinated by how the internet enables sadism and masochism and enjoy reading people's comments and also interested by sexology in general. I don't like the unhinged repressed people on twitter who are just being cruel to each other constantly or self harming without getting off on it sexually though. Please enjoy your sadism. Also limit it to fiction kthx.

The post could have gotten weirder I almost posted that lemongrab was probably the second most fuckable Adventure Time character. Apparently I'm posting this now. After that Ice King character when he was younger and less wizardly and had those glasses of course. But I don't really like his voice so much. There aren't a lot of good options on that show though. Imagine that. I like Princess Bubblegum and Marceline but only as a ship years ago, not attracted.

I never actually watched Adventure Time. I'd say 'because it's past my time' and I was a young adult when it became popular but at uni I knew a guy who was really into Adventure Time and the The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. We lived together for a year and ended up watching some of the Flapjack show in the living room I think. I think maybe he dressed up as Finn for Halloween or something once? (I nearly typed F1nn lmao no he didn't dress up as a femboy unfortunately. Femboys didn't really exist back then. Also f1nn would have been like 10/11 or something back then lol we are old. I did go to someone's birthday party which was crossdressing themed back then but he didn't to go that lol.)

I also used to find this funny until my brother played it one too many times:

When you think about it I developed most of my fetish interests from kids cartoons as a child. Or films based on comic books/cartoons. (Batman & Robin, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dexter's Laboratory etc.) But maybe that's a coincidence.

    Also he's making bacon pancakes.

I saw some article talking about generational zodiac nonsense that was like 'millennials sense of humour is all jokes involving music' and they're kind of right LOL. Mostly because of the 'let's autotune/remix everything' period in the early 2010s:

    And still:

^ not really a joke though lol.

These guys are older (well I'm too lazy to check all their ages but Andy Samberg was born in 1978 so Xennial I guess.) but same humour from about 2009-2015:

I never watched the OC TV show but still remember the music somehow lol? Like I know the episode with the Imogen Heap song because that's how I discovered her music and also learnt to play the opening theme on keyboard at one point lol:

But I don't think I watched the Imogen Heap episode so.... ??? I don't know what happened there. Maybe I just have some psychic ability who knows. I didn't use YouTube too often before 2009 when I was 18 because before then we had dialup internet in my house. Yes all the way till early 2009 I know.

I watched The Joker film when it came out at the cinema, and I liked it quite a lot. I don't watch many films so anything that's better than like Marvel at this point is 'decent' to me lol. But one day I will forget every detail of that film and that I even watched it and only remember Hildur Gudnadottir:

Maybe not because I did like the film. It had a great soundtrack though.

Also Imogen Heap invented robotic vocals. I said what I said Cher.

Nah but that song is fine. I just heard it one too many times back as a kid.

Actually Daft Punk was better anyway. This song is apparently unpopular though (or maybe just the album it came from) because people are wrong:

Discovered Kanye through Daft Punk too lol:

It's mostly ripping off Weird Al anyway lol. I was really into this when I was 16-18 or something:

I never bought any of Imogen Heap's albums but she had some pretty great tracks (I guess mostly from her Speak For Yourself album):

I love this one a lot:

I really like this Clams Casino remix too (and the video lol because I like the aesthetic with the masks):

    Also:

For some reason I completely thought she was American lol but she's from the UK. It makes sense though because her style is similar to other UK folktronica/electronic 2000s artists like IAMX, Patrick Wolf, and then also baroque + art pop like Florence and The Machine a bit. I mean there other similar artists in Canada I guess like Grimes and Owen Pallett/Final Fantasy but I said before I can't think of many US artists and bands like that:

And that's been puzzling me lol it's like how pop punk mostly avoided coming to the UK (it was big here just no one really made that music from what I noticed.)

Yeah off the top of my head I think Amanda Palmer and The Dresden Dolls are the only example that springs to mind with a kinda similar style from the 2000s (more removed though.)

^ damn this is still reasonably low quality but better than the music video upload on their channel which is 16 years old.

A lot more aggressive still I like that though. Lol in the lyrics she talks about stealing flamingos and gnomes just makes me think of The Sims because you can steal those LOL. I mean I guess that's a thing that happens in America but yeah. My brother once stole uh something unusual enough that I won't post just in case lol. It was not a gnome or a flamingo.

I feel like Imogen Heap is actually even bigger in the US than the UK which is unusual.

Guess he sort of touches on this in this video:

Where he talks about how it wasn't really cool to adopt a feminine/flamboyant aesthetic back then in music but I don't think that was really a thing. Maybe in the US or certain scenes in the US and in her band. Meanwhile in the UK:

It's very useful that's how I learnt about the major key:

And she reminds me of Imogen Heap:

Still to this day the US is quite masculine. And so the countries you see this kind of music from are generally not the US:

The US has this insane neurosis about not being masculine enough. It's weird. We adopted that neurosis too but obviously not to the same degree lol (it exists everywhere to some degree because of the psychology of certain men.) I think it has something to do with hard and soft power too. Countries that rely on soft power more than hard power tend to be more 'creative' (less fixated with being masculine and militaristic.) Because you have to seduce and coerce people. The UK relies on soft power more than the US does, but still quite aggressive.

I mean there's more factors than just that and you have older American artists like Tori Amos but yeah I definitely think it factors in.

Just obvious when you compare China to like South Korea or Japan and South Korea is transparently trying to do that when it's supposed to be unconscious. When you're doing it on purpose it's not so good. Which is also why I think a lot of kpop isn't that great musically. It's overly engineered and lacking something. The industry is insane too. Like the Human equivalent of capturing a bunch of faeries and forcing them to produce magic for you. And the music I've heard has become more that way over the last decade even. But that's not what 99% of the world - and especially the hard power citizens of Russia, China and the US - want to criticise them for it's just 'oh no feminine men feminising our men.' OK... They're not even that feminine really. Neither is Harry Styles.

Dunno funny when they complain about masculine women though. Yeah it's a very masculine culture. You get weird situations now like Andrew Tate is some confused American who partly grew up in Luton and fucked off to Romania. Lest we forget Andrew Tate's origin story the reason he's bald isn't because he likes being bald per se, or because he's incapable of growing hair, it's because one time as a kid his mum was complaining about the haircut he got and then his dad yelled at her for emasculating his son by talking about superficial things like haircuts so he developed a complex about his masculinity. (Obviously this wasn't the only incident he's talked about where basically the same dynamic happened. I just like it because of my symbolic hair narrative. It's biblical instead of Satanic for a change. Samson.)

So Andrew Tate decided to complain about F1nnster as peak femboy. This whole episode was very funny though. I like how it involved shoeonhead too like a cinematic universe:

(this is one of my fetishes lol but I don't find this incident hot just amusing. So it's OK. Yup.)

F1nnster is also from the UK and then Americans online are like 'our country has fallen because of Harry Styles and F1nnster.' At least Timothee Chalamet is actually American I guess lol. (There are only 3-4 people they ever complain about lol.) Meanwhile in the UK:

'We have to disarm the police. Police gun violence is a serious issue in the UK.'

I can think of 1 or 2 situations which is not good but the majority of police here are unarmed. The internet was a mistake lol. Confusion of the highest order:

Yeah I always end up thinking about the hard/soft power thing again but I want someone in that political sphere to acknowledge this hypothesis lol.

Paradoxically though (and obviously this gets into the realm of subjectivity a bit.) Andrew Tate isn't masculine. Jordan Peterson isn't masculine (he doesn't actually claim to be either. He's said numerous times he thinks he has a 'feminine temperament.') Ben Shapiro isn't masculine. Candace Owens is a woman not masculine, androgynous.

Dave Rubin isn't.... Funny. His stand up comedy is really bad lol. The worst I've ever seen. But I guess he's not masculine either.

Camille Paglia is trans/androgynous/sort of a woman/afab person and not masculine. That guy in the tomboy abs video (I said I wouldn't post it again so not posting it.) Definitely not masculine. Probably most people complaining about this on twitter aren't masculine. Even the edgy posters who try to be less whiny about it and are like 'we must bring back warriors.' Like Bronze Age Pervert. They aren't masculine. He's a highly qualified autistic man with several advanced degrees, who has lived in multiple cultures (again,) who appears to be a repressed bisexual with numerous sexual fetishes who can't decide if he wants to be an aesthetically masculine twink warrior like Apollo or Dionysus. And yeah the people with large followings who exist post 2015 lol. That's a person. I remember in 2014 there was a article online wondering 'where all the cults went' I'll need them to shut up now lol. (Even before this became more visible there was weird stuff online though lol.)

    Masculine:

    Masculine:

    Masculine:

Oh there are masculine guys who complain about this and trans people like the guy below but they're a minority.

^ I fundamentally reject the framing of the phenomenon as a 'medical condition.' I don't think that's the best way of viewing it.

Most of these people are neurotic, paranoid and androgynous or otherwise have some kind of blended identity and/or cultural background and European and Abrahamic influenced cultures do a poor job of integrating androgynous people. Also neurotic and paranoid people are just kind of cursed that way in the first place. I can't say there's been any culture that has really managed to do this 100% though but some have been better than others. Mostly Native American and South East Asian. The thing about Christian cultures though is.... (And since Christianity was mostly defanged in the UK it gets a lot worse too.) I'm sure you can at least do better than "you're Satan/evil and here's some vampire and other gothic literature good luck."

Also 'androgyny abuse' when Jordan Peterson compares that to alcoholism lol:

    Quote Jordan Peterson
I tried to impress upon some of the trans activists that were after me when I first made some public statements. I said look I don't think - I didn't say it this eloquently unfortunately what I would have liked to have said now is it isn't obvious that your theory of identity is going to serve the function that you assume it is. It's not psychologically sophisticated enough, it's not sociologically sophisticated enough. You can't insist that other people play a game that they don't know how to play, and you also don't know how to play it except to say that it exists. And this sanity issue you know a lot of us is externalised because we're such social creatures and everyone has weaknesses.

You're going to degenerate along your weakest axis and you won't be able to control yourself because some of your weakness will be your inability to control yourself on that axis. Maybe you have a biological predisposition to alcoholism and you have three shots of vodka in 20 minutes and you're on top of the world. There are people like that they often have extensive family histories of alcoholism. It's a biological phenomenon.

Hopefully when you drink too much other people are going to start telling you and that's actually how you start diagnosing alcohol abuse. Are you getting in trouble with the law? Is it interfering with your intimate relationships? Is it interfering with your ability to hold a job? It means the addictive substance is starting to dominate your life.
Inspiring stuff. I can see why Contrapoints made the video 'Hunger' lol.

Also not the [afab] abs again:

See I would have left Elliot Page alone if [he] wasn't parading [his] abs in a fashion magazine.
How many kids do you think [he] convinced to convert?
    Quote Jordan Peterson
What seems to me to be the postmodern, anti-enlightenment and anti judeo-Christian insistence that epistemology and the model of reality let's say that we use to guide ourselves trumps ontology which is reality itself. And so the post modernists insisted that the meaning of words could only be adjudicated in relationship to other words. And so they thought the whole linguistic corpus is something like a massive dictionary where every word only bore meaning in relationship to other words. And really did attempt to deny or downplay the idea that there was an external transcendent reality deistic or objective that could serve as a corrective to these epistemological positions and I think that was driven in part by the underlying Marxist insistence that power rules everything but also that Human beings are infinitely malleable and because of that could be molded and should be molded in the view of whoever happens to hold the Utopian reigns and all of that's tangled together. And you also called this a neo-religion and that's why I'm bringing up all these additional factors because I think they play into this what's become a religious battle essentially. And we should also talk about why you and I have both concluded that this is best construed as a religious battle.
Going on about hysteria and social contagions. Zombie/vampire rules as Sean said. All these teenagers they're worried about, or at least most of them, will one day be the evil adults they all hate because they don't comply with their gender rules. Whether they medically transition or not. You have to remain closeted and it's a 'religious war.' After all. Apparently.

It's so obvious when observing people that they're not free agents. Their minds work by association of thoughts. One thought leads to another. It's just one giant chain reaction. Humanity's biggest mistake is thinking that they're free. If I say something to my parents, their mind associates what I said with other concepts and new thoughts arise. They have absolutely no control over which thoughts come to mind. It's all determined by past memories and the state of their brain.

Speaking of Caroline Polachek. This is a uh something lol:

10 years later and I still got the chills from this
Why is this sort of joke everywhere now lol? I guess because with all the nostalgia culture people fall for it a lot.

I like the screaming part lol. It's very Deftones concert 2017. (I mean it's not but the spirit.) Hexagram scream is amazing live. Wait what's this better than Hexagram you say?

    *sits down*

Oh no I still prefer Hexagram I think. It's just the best. It has this rattling painful sound. Well the second scream clip he included sounds different from the third clip. Like that's not the same scream or something? Confusing.

Other great screams off the top of my head:

"Is Birmingham the Ohio of the UK?"

No I think that might be Luton lol! Luton is Cleveland:

You can just go on google maps and see areas that look dodgy as [BEEP] on google maps. There are other areas that are full of super expensive houses and various in between stuff because the UK is weird that way.

There are lots of Cleveland's in the UK though but on a smaller scale. Luton also has mild Florida man vibes but not as extreme.

Also doesn't really work if Birmingham is the Detroit of the UK because:

'It could be worse though at least we're not Detroit'

And Birmingham is better than Luton except Luton is nearer to London at least. But trains are so expensive now that it's not much of an advantage. If you buy tickets early you can get to Manchester cheaper.

"It's run down, it's still somehow expensive. It's too big. Birmingham just continues and it shouldn't."

Tbf that's true of London too lol It keeps expanding. It sort of includes most of Hertfordshire now. He's like 'I'm in my studio in North London' afaik it's in Hemel Hempstead? Though he might have others. And Hemel Hempstead is a 4ish hour walk from where I live. I think lol:

And the definition even partly includes Luton (the airport, people on social media referring to the airport in town as London,) but we're still technically not quite absorbed yet. Eventually England will just be like 5 cities and Cornwall or something. But I think by then Cornwall will declare independence and return to a Celtic nation.

There are villages that have been absorbed into Luton or are gradually being absorbed in Luton over the past century. Technically one of my grandparents was from one and my grandad was also from an area that was a village when he was a baby/young child I think. Some of these are still loosely referred to as villages informally but not really. It just scales this way. Stuff gets absorbed into Luton. Luton gets absorbed into London. Like a singularity.

"Help I'm being invaded by the capital of my country."

Lol. I think though when you get absorbed into a city people just forget about you and think of all the rich/cool areas and culture and then you're just this shitty ghetto that can't as easily vocalise the issue or organise etc. Like so:

Outside of London, Luton has the highest rate of homelessness with one in 65 people homeless, one in 74 people are homeless in Manchester, followed by Brighton and Hove where one in 78 people are homeless.
Want to break London down more?

    Sometimes they bother to:

Research carried out by Loughborough University and published by EndChildPoverty.org provides further insight into the geography of poverty by estimating the proportion of children who are in poverty after housing costs by local authority. Four local authorities in London have the highest child poverty rates: Tower Hamlets (51% ), Newham (49% ), Barking and Dagenham (46% ) and Hackney (45% ). These are followed by Luton, just north of London in the East of England, at 45%.
Areas just outside of major cities can often be the worst places to live in developed countries.

There is a much wider range of poverty rates across local authorities within London, Yorkshire and Humberside, the North West and the West Midlands. The local authorities with both the highest and lowest poverty rates are in London, with Tower Hamlets at 51% and City of London at 10%. In Yorkshire and Humberside, Bradford has the highest child poverty rate at 40% while Harrogate has the lowest at 17%. In the West Midlands Birmingham has the highest poverty rate at 42% while Warwick has a 19% poverty rate.
The rampant inequality is a serious issue in the US and UK. The irony is in the name 'The city of London' yeah that's London, then there's just a bunch of other stuff peculiarly tacked on.

There's this reddit thread from a year ago lol:

Is Luton a part of London?

Travelled from Luton through London to visit my girlfriend, and when I updated her by saying I was in London now she cheekily replied "You started in London" before making an argument that it genuinely is a part of London before I replied "yes but it's called Luton therefore it isnt ACTUALLY LONDON". All in good fun lol but was wondering what other people thought?
Luton is in Bedfordshire, which isn't London.
That's what I said! She then insisted that Bedfordshire was 'Outer London'.
By that logic all of Sussex, Essex, and Kent are in London
SHE ARGUES ESSEX IS OUTER LONDON TOO
She's an idiot then. These are the home counties.

Under no definition is it London. Not inside the M25. Not a London phone code. Not a London postal code. Not a London borough.

It's called London Luton airport for marketing.
Not in any sense. It's not in a London borough. It's not within the M25. It doesn't have a London postcode. It's no more a part of London than Dundee is.

"London Luton" Airport is pretty much a running joke - especially as you have to take a bus and a half an hour train ride to get into London.
It's not London, it's a case of airports tacking on the name of somewhere major nearby in an attempt to make themselves sound better. Donny airport does the same. It's Doncaster Sheffield Airport, but it sure as [BEEP] isn't in Sheffield, not even the Sheffield side of Donny.
They did the same with East Midlands Airport when they briefly renamed it "Nottingham East Midlands". The airport is entirely within Leicestershire, has a Derby postcode, nothing, geographically, to do with Nottingham.
Lol didn't know that. Yeah as someone who has travelled on that train line a bunch when I lived in Derby it isn't near Nottingham at all. You're not going to be walking there.

Essex is different because some of Essex is London. Same with Surrey and Kent. None of Bedfordshire is in London?it doesn?t even come close to bordering London
Yet lol. They want to incorporate all the home countries I think eventually so that could include Bedfordshire though it's not always considered one. Plus Luton is already a unitary authority that's ceremonially in Bedfordshire, so it has that kind of 'oh well maybe we'll take over Luton in a few decades time and then the rest of Bedfordshire later' thing. No one really wants Luton because it's infamous and a mess. In fact when I was at uni I lived with a guy at one point who was from somewhere else in Bedfordshire who argued Luton wasn't part of Bedfordshire because he didn't like it essentially, but cities expand.

The home counties are the counties of England that surround London. The counties are not precisely defined but Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and Surrey are usually included in definitions as they directly border London.[1][2] Other counties slightly further from London -- such as Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, East Sussex and West Sussex ? are not always regarded as home counties,[1][2] although on occasion may be thought of as such due to their proximity to London and their connection to the London regional economy.
That's what you would hear from chicks that can't afford to live in London but love to call themselves Londoners.
Yeah it's bleak though honestly. Also reminds me of Simon Amstell talking about the Romford nightclub 'nobody told me London is close'

bollocks. Croydon is still in surrey! Bromley is still in Kent!

Croydon is in London AND Surrey. Bromley is in London AND Kent. Its not an either or situation.
Croydon WAS in Surrey, it left Surrey 1965 with the Greater London Act.

Same with Bromley and Romford they left their previous counties
In my eyes, everything south of Birmingham is London.
Correct - the four nations of the UK are, northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and London.
Northern England is just an anomaly
Is she northern? they think most of the south is that London
    We're both from Essex haha
    Even worse lol.

Greater London is just the London boroughs, nothing else. I live in Hertfordshire, inside the M25.

I do not live in Greater London.
Help. She's not wrong about a lot of stuff just being part of the 'greater London built up area (tm)' now like this map:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greate..._Built-up_Area

But Luton still isn't lol. I think it's generally accepted as part of the commuter belt though. I didn't even realise St Albans and Hemel Hempstead counted now until recently lol. Mostly because Steven Wilson keeps saying he's in London in interviews and I was confused.

I've been a postie for over 30 years and from what I gather these days, London, according to the news and peoples views, starts somewhere near Birmingham and finishes at the south coast.
    Yes very weird.

Some kind of discussion event about it last April:

    https://www.onlondon.co.uk/should-london-be-bigger/

Should London be bigger? A big discussion event

Complaints that London is too big are a regular feature of contemporary hostility to the capital city. But should London be even bigger? That is to say, should the territory defined as Greater London since 1965 be enlarged and brought under the control of the Greater London Authority and its Mayor?
Expanding the size of Greater London and the reach of the GLA is not on the agenda of any of the national political parties, and if it were there would be loud objections from everyone, from the county councils of the Home Counties, whose jurisdictions would be absorbed into that of the Greater London Authority and the Mayor of London, to assorted populist politicians elsewhere in the country who profit electorally from deriding a capital city whose economy keeps theirs afloat.

But what if such a reform was enacted? What if future Mayors of London had powers and influence beyond Hillingdon, Havering, Enfield and Croydon and encompassed Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and Surrey as well?
A Greater Greater London could create greater potential for solving some of London's most stubborn and damaging problems, including by bringing its decidedly patchy suburban rail services more fully under Transport for London's control and allowing the Mayor to facilitate more rapid and affordable housebuilding.
What if you solved the problems with the area you already control first and then we'll see?

It could also help voters of the Home Counties by giving them an electoral say in decisions currently made in and for the capital which can and often do affect them greatly. The outcome could be a better run and coordinated London economic area ? a Southern Powerhouse as Andrew Boff has called it ? which might also have less housing and other poverty.
Are you going to make rail cheaper? That's an issue personally affecting me.

The lives and livelihoods of that extra million are closely entwined with London's and are just as reliant on the transport networks that serve it. So are the lives of their families and those of their neighbours who work in the towns and smaller cities of the Home Counties, many of whom have moved from London bringing with them skills and experience acquired there.

    Also:

"Please no more people because you'll get stuck here. No one leaves."

    LOL. 😂

This is true of most people in most countries though. It's actually quite hard to move country a lot of the time. Or even town in a lot of cases.

Also still thinking about the time my friend sent me a listing for a Scottish castle for sale which was cheaper than some London flats.

I dunno why I started reading this webpage since this all seems to be written by Julie Bindel. I just stumbled on it while searching something earlier lol... Then got reminded of some other stuff. Another long rant. The incredibly binary way most people view everything is very difficult to live with honestly. You're not supposed to be upset about this, but I am. So I will be repeating this I guess - which is also fucking annoying to people - because there's nothing to be done about it. But I guess it's cathartic/necessary in some sense. Because Humans are social animals or whatever. Ew.

Though I actually don't disagree with her that more research etc should separate LGBT+ subgroups more though. The research that does exist (mostly in the US,) reveals differences between different groups and there's less in the UK that I'm aware of.

When I came out as a lesbian in 1977, aged just 15, I considered the word to be a terrible one. It took me some time until I felt pride in using it to describe myself. Now, more than four decades later, the word 'lesbian' is diminishing in use and popularity.
Honestly I don't really see this as an issue I basically see the opposite. It seems like a lot of people are identifying as lesbians who are trans men, bisexual women. There's the term bi-lesbian online and those women are rarely lesbians. Even straight or mostly straight women who have a preference for androgynous or less masculine men seem to occasionally use the word lesbian. This attitude probably doesn't help in that regard:

Look dude: bi guys like twinks, "straight" guys like twinks, gay guys like twinks, and even some very kinky straight women like twinks. that's just how it is broski 🤝
    Why?

Compared to who? Are men not kinky? Ahahahahaa.

Findings from the 2021 England and Wales Census[7] give us the most recent information about numbers of lesbians in England and Wales. These can be extracted from those who identified as belonging to the category 'gay or lesbian', cross-referenced with those who described themselves as 'female'. Responses indicate that 1.15% of England & Wales female residents over sixteen identified as lesbian, as compared to 1.76% of females identifying as bisexual, and 1.95% of males identifying as gay. This translates as 349,831 women in England and Wales identifying as lesbians.

In age groups up to 44 years old, females were more likely to identify as bisexual than as 'gay or lesbian'. This was particularly the case in the 16-24 group, with females three times as likely to say this. Generally speaking, females (1.76% or 440,000) were more than twice as likely to have identified as bisexual than males (0.78% or 184,000), This represents a continuation of a trend observed since 2014, where a higher proportion of men than women identify as gay or lesbian and a higher proportion of women than men identify as bisexual.
I would definitely expect there to be less lesbians than bisexual women Julie. For starters the vast majority of straight women are bisexually aroused in research and exclusively gynephilic women are clearly a small minority.

There are some limitations to this data, however. First, a significant number of people (7.5% ) chose not to respond to the Census question on sexual orientation. If the reason for some lesbians' non-disclosure on this question was fear, stigma, or being closeted within a household, actual numbers could be higher. It's therefore important to find out why such a large number did not respond to this question.

Second, in the Census questions 'straight/heterosexual', 'gay or lesbian', and 'bisexual' were presented as sexual orientations alongside an option for 'other'. Of those who chose 'other', 0.27% of females identified as 'pansexual'; 0.08% identified as 'asexual'; and 0.04% as '[BEEP]', with females more likely than males to have identified into these further categories. Yet strictly speaking, being asexual or [BEEP] is compatible with being lesbian. The use of the 'other' option may therefore confound information about true lesbian numbers.
I really doubt it. People usually pick 'other' etc because their sexuality is complicated in some way. I'm basically bisexual because I'm aroused by both sexes and my sexual fantasies have involved both sexes but what I'm 'in the mood for' varies at different points and I have a romantic preference for guys who I sometimes imagine are women in my head, but I also find female voices attractive, everyone is more attractive when set to music, I have various fetishes, most of my crushes have been on guys but also a trans woman and someone who later came out as non-binary, and I'm also borderline asexual and didn't enjoy doing sexual stuff with guys irl. Never wanted to do piv. I'm also non-binary. So I'd pick 'other' too. Think I did in the census.

If I was a lesbian it would be pretty simple to just pick 'lesbian' but that's not how it works out for some people. Lol the weird transphobic troll woman who hated me on another forum and went insane on me was at one point on one of her many accounts trying to argue that all asexual women are lesbians.

Lol I'm watching this older patreon stream by Contrapoints from 2021 since I can now and I remembered some post talking about something from it (loosely related to the above, but it's like 3 hours long so who knows when that part comes up,) and she's talking about how she likes 70s style clothing, glasses, hair etc. She doesn't wear that style much in her videos though sadly with the exception of her last one lol when she was doing a bit. I guess that's really popular now.

There's also a part where she's talking about her music etc and cultural appropriation discourse and she brings up white people playing blues music and it's reminding me of The White Stripes and Jack White's insecurity about being a white guy playing blues music. That seemed to be part of the reason he wanted Meg there like he felt it would cancel out or something? But it doesn't really work like that but yeah lol:

Meg is the best part of this band. It never would have worked with anybody else, because it would have been too complicated. When she started to play drums with me, just on a lark, it felt liberating and refreshing. There was something in it that opened me up. It was my doorway to playing the blues, without anyone over my shoulder going, "Oh, white-boy blues, white-boy bar band." I could really get down to something
Anyway trying to be vague cause it's a patreon thing and also getting distracted lol...

Oh OK I got to the part. So it's about the difference in stigma against bisexual women vs men and bisexual men being more stigmatised. She actually says 'I realise someone is going to get really offended by that' yeah it did bother some people a bunch. I was interested by the part where someone pointed out she brings up how you can be a woman making out with women at a party but still have access to a heterosexual role.

Anyway I see what she's saying about bisexual men violating the gender norms of masculinity to a greater degree and sex with men being seen as feminine so there's a specific stigma associated with that which bisexual women won't experience. She also brings up erasure and says it's a shitty thing 'to some people.' Then 'I dunno. Maybe this is just a grossly biphobic rant.' Then someone commented this:

as a lesbian i feel like i can relate my experience more to asexual women than bisexual women tbh, same comphet vibes yk
And she responded to that and said 'that's kind of what I'm talking about yeah but I think some people might think that's biphobic I dunno.' These aren't distinct groups though they overlap. There's a problem with the assumption that bisexuality is just promiscuous femme women and women making out at parties. It's a thing that happens for sure, I'm sure most people have met women like this, and I've met bisexual women who are like that while in relationships with men and you know if it had been guys they were making out with their partners and in one case I think fiance at the time wouldn't have been OK with that. That's a messed up dynamic too. But then that's not every bisexual woman.

I feel like people throw the word erasure around including bisexuals and think it's just about not having people accept your sexual orientation which is annoying but there are also serious issues that are just not really being addressed. Like bisexual women don't have it easier than bisexual men but bisexuals don't have it easier than homosexuals when it comes to a bunch of things, and so that includes bisexual women when it comes to a bunch of things:

    https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-...eport-n1073501

When grouped together, almost 22 percent of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people reported earning less than the federal poverty level of $12,490 per year for a single-person household. The cisgender straight community, on the other hand, reported a poverty rate of almost 16 percent.

When researchers separated the L, G, B and T, however, they found cisgender (or non-transgender) gay men and lesbians reported similar levels of poverty to their heterosexual counterparts, while bisexual women and transgender people (of all sexual orientations) had a poverty rate of almost 30 percent.
    https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.e...y-people-lgbt/

Bi people are more likely to be unemployed, on welfare, and in poor health, says a new report.

According to the study, which surveyed 1,864 adults of all sexual orientations (including transgender women and men) in January 2017 about economics, the rates of poverty in the bisexual community far exceed those of gay men, lesbians, and heterosexuals. For bisexual men, the data was stark: 24 percent of bi men reported a household income below the federal poverty line, compared to 12 percent of gay men and just 6 percent of straight men. Among women, lesbians were the least likely to report poverty, followed by straight women at 14 percent and bi women at 21 percent.

In a surprising twist, lesbians were more aligned with straight men across several aspects of the survey; both groups were most likely to be employed, least likely to report poverty, and least likely to be on public benefits such as welfare and food stamps.
I feel like non-binary people have similar issues but there's even less research (but just the bullying statistics in that one Finnish survey where non-binary people are more likely to bully others and to have been bullied, same with trans people but worse, and knowing the correlations with all these things and antisocial stuff points to that,) and materially I live this way regardless of what I label things you know. So often it's like something is very wrong - often many things because of how various atypical traits cluster together - and then you have to piece it all together because of alienation. With no real help and therapy is useless in the UK.

And there's lots of room for questioning why. Like are these groups inherently fucked up? Is it because there's a high rate of autism reported in some studies for bisexual women and non-binary/genderqueer people? Probably not because many studies also show a high rate among lesbian women. I also think different studies sometimes get different results. I think having a mixed identity could create psychological issues in general and alienation obviously. There are some papers on mixed race people that suggest that but then others which don't. I've noticed in the UK racially speaking there are huge differences depending on subgroups of ethnicity and race with poverty too like some mixed race groups are struggling economically while others aren't as much, and different ethnicities within race vary a lot too. I saw one paper a while ago too which suggested that biracial people were more emotionally well off when they confidently identified with both aspects of their racial/ethnic heritage instead of one or the other or neither. So I'm not mixed race but you can imagine that's really hard to do and also not generally encouraged from what I've seen.

Findings showed a higher prevalence of the following mental health and self-injurious outcomes among multiracial individuals compared to monoracial people: depression, anxiety, languishing, a perceived need for help, loneliness, any drug use, non-suicidal self-injury, suicidal ideation, suicide plan and suicide attempt.

It was also shown that multiracial people had a higher prevalence of a history of the following psychiatric disorders: depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, trauma disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, eating disorders and personality disorders.
I mean gender, sexuality and race are all very different things (well there's overlap between sexuality and gender but your racial phenotype is entirely unrelated,) so identity and difficulties with social integration in communities would be the common denominators there.

Do I think I'd be better off as eg: a cis het straight guy though? - Probably not because afaik my brother is and also struggling a lot in various aspects of life and with some similar issues. Though in saying that most people often thought he was a girl until puberty because he hated having his hair cut and when we were really young people assumed we were twin girls and my nan would talk about that though I was too young to remember that time so... Honestly not the best 'all else being equal' example in some sense. Everyone always thought he was insane and I'd have total strangers sometimes express sympathy that I was related to him when they found out I was. He's definitely gender typical though for the most part.

The far right addresses these questions of course but it's like: "It's hopeless. No good can come of this. Just don't be bisexual, trans, non-binary - in fact don't be homosexual either or present in androgynous ways, and don't have interracial relationships + kids." But many differences occur even within racial groups when you look at ethnic background and class etc so that's not really a solution in the first place and also there are many people in this situation whether you like it or not and it's not all controllable.

She then goes on to a slightly different topic not sure how the topic got there entirely maybe while discussing how butch women are sometimes admired for being masculine so long as they still cater to men which is another thing I've seen widely assumed that is not backed up in at least some research from what I remember (it's hard lol to keep track of so much info honestly like I can't do it 100% but I know I read something a few months ago because I remember thinking 'hmm unexpected' about it because I generally assume feminine men are treated more poorly,) but anyway. So she brings up historical cases of women who adopted male names and clothing and such like George Sand (who I'm not overly familiar with,) and how she thinks it's wrong to speculate and how there are also historical cases of trans men but since a lot of women did that to gain more freedom it's not obvious which you're seeing. Which is fine except if you're looking for guidance. Obviously people will do this especially if they're struggling under modern alienation.

Also some people are also non-binary. In her tangent video before about the female gaze where she talks about something called the 'gender fluid gaze' which was not her own concept she mentioned she read about that in a book - girls who like boys who like boys - which I've not read and that section of the video was ironically the only reason I subscribed to her patreon lol cause I saw it in the description but it's all framed as being the female gaze again somehow (but I already went into that in several posts earlier last month so really don't want to go into that again too much lol.) She also left bisexual people out of the video and I think there was even a comment saying it would be cool to get an insight on non-binary people and bisexuals lol.

So you have the female gaze which is attraction to androgynous 'twink' men and then you have the gay male gaze which is attraction to hyper masculine men (she does point out it's generalising and I also see these generalisations reflected in at least Americans.)

And I sympathise with the fact that as she identified with that section and gaze as a lesbian trans woman she would want to distance herself and that 'gaze' from both bisexuality and gender fluidity and especially from men. She was talking about how she adopts this persona that's kind of part gay man and woman and also likes certain male/male ships like Hannibal and Will because you can identify with the predator and prey simultaneously... I'd guess because people are biased with harm to women makes intuitive sense why some would do this (though it still confuses me with people who aren't attracted to men at all, and also when straight women do the reverse with lesbian porn,) and also that she envies gay men but just because of her perception that they're having more fun. She frames all of this as a female thing because of her identity so OK. I get why she does this.

This isn't unique to her though so much of progressive LGBT+ culture online at least is people distancing themselves from cis men including trans men often lol. In fact the book she's quoting is probably an example of this erasure because I see it in most feminist analysis (or anything inspired by feminism,) of certain sexual interests. Because there are several groups that are just not part of most people's mental model like trans men, non-binary people, bisexuals. I mean bisexual men don't even exist they're gay and bisexual women are a paradox that simultaneously exist and don't. And that's a complete mindfuck. There's got to be a conclusion at some point to that lol.

All these groups are actually overrepresented in people who enjoy a lot of the stuff mentioned. That is rarely addressed by people instead it's just "oh most straight women want a dick to have sex and fantasise about gay men or even being a man and like 'twinks' and also feminising men." Like that paper on nisu subculture and many things I've read about yaoi and slash etc. It's kind of like Freud lol at times. But there's a different explanation. Now it's just the patriarchy lol. But then you know to an extent most women are bisexually aroused - at least most women who have ever shown up to any study carried out. But there's still some kind of distinction there ultimately that shows up in all of these statistics and personality research and other anecdotally obvious things. Which is what I'm getting at I guess. I think it contributes to psychological issues.

Some comments about that video are interesting. One woman said she lived as a lesbian for 2 decades and after coming out as bisexual found that lesbians were the most biased people she met and regarded her sexuality as a betrayal + acted like gatekeepers. She came to the conclusion that bisexuals regardless of gender or whether they were trans or not were the most vilified. I don't think that's true because different groups have different issues and especially now you can find all the people who hate you easily online. I'm also quite disinterested in this as a competition ultimately. But I do think the issues bisexuals experience are downplayed a lot. (To an extent that frankly shocked me after I started looking into this over the past year.) Like the biggest issue bisexual women face isn't erasure it's misdirected homophobia, mental health + substance abuse issues, possibly higher rate of autism and autistic traits, higher rates of other mental health issues, higher rates of poverty and unemployment, and higher chance of being in abusive relationships. Bisexual women are also apparently at a higher risk of violence than other women. I don't even think most bisexual women know that a lot of the time or just ignore stuff that happens to them or that people say to them because 'well I'm not a lesbian.' But it's not like anyone can tell often:

And I never even had short hair and still had some people assume things when I was socially active and not living in hermit mode irl. Also just pressure to have piv with my ex at one point from one guy like it was his business.

I posted about that video by the bisexual woman above before and I said you know she's a bisexual woman and doesn't even go into anything I mentioned in this post from what I remember. Not sure if she's aware. I think the video was more about it just being annoying. Yes but there are other issues.

The commenter also said with few exceptions the only women willing to connect with her sexually have been bisexual, and so she has to decide whether she's willing to interact with 'whatever male might be in their lives' (then mentions poly couples looking for fictional unicorns.) Which yeah sounds like a pain.

I've heard stories too about online dating (which is a huge cultural problem in itself from what I've seen. Just in general,) where women who are attracted to women meet up with women where it's not made clear that they're even with a guy then just suddenly the guy is involved when they meet up. I don't just mean like they meet somewhere and a guy is there necessarily like in public or something which would also be annoying I mean in one case I remember reading about they're having sex and then this woman's boyfriend just appears. I wouldn't be cool with that and I'm attracted to guys. I can't remember if that person was a lesbian or not now.

I expect it was worse though for her because she lived as a lesbian for multiple decades so people felt 'betrayed.' When I guess she eventually came out as bisexual. That's why I find Julie Bindel and that other terf troll's approach regarding asexual women dumb. I don't know that a lot of people who aren't labelling their sexuality or who label it something ambiguous are lesbians. I wouldn't think that's the most likely scenario in most cases just statistically and based on everything I've said.

Oh whoops. I sent the first goodnight GIF that popped up in my phone to a friend yesterday without watching it through, and it's one of those romantic ones. Hope he didn't read into it...

Lol speaking of Adventure Time it ended up coming up in this video about Sargon and someone discussing cartoons which are truly the most important topic of our time:

"If you walked into a college dorm in like... 2011 everyone would be watching Adventure Time and getting stoned. Adventure Time had its adult audience of stoners."
No not here, but I did know one guy lol. He didn't smoke weed or do acid though. I've never watched the show properly either just seen a bunch of YouTube clips so I mostly just found the various clips of lemongrab entertaining and then watched some clips with other characters. He Man was never on TV when I was a kid so can't comment on that I know people complained about Batman as corrupting young people as far back as like the 50s but that was the comics not the later cartoons though I'm sure the same complaints existed. All I know about He Man is this (which isn't cannon obviously lol):

It's funny how guys like Sargon and the other guy wanted to be the heroes. Not surprising but funny. I liked a lot of villain characters or otherwise creepy and somewhat ambiguous characters like Beetlejuice, and Team Rocket from Pokemon (just Jessie and James not the organisation.) I wanted to to be a gym leader in Pokemon though.

At one point I roleplayed a scenario with my dolls where Poison Ivy had kids and then it happened on the show haha:

Poison Ivy is horrifying! She definitely needs her own movie.
Yeah I feel like they'd [BEEP] it up now though but also she was in one film played by Uma Thurman and the transformation scene had a very big impact on my sexuality lol but I couldn't go back and watch it now too cheesy.

There were lots of cartoons I liked watching but I didn't necessarily identify with or think all the characters were cool exactly. Like I enjoyed watching Dexter's laboratory a lot and pretty much any cartoon but there weren't any characters on that show I liked that much. Same with The Simpsons. I would watch it often but didn't relate to any of the characters or see them as role models really. Just wasn't that picky and liked watching cartoons. I'm probably forgetting some characters too.

I liked more protagonist type characters too like Qui Gon Jinn and Tomb Raider (also various other video game characters,) but they weren't in cartoons. I liked the Harry Potter series a lot too but Harry Potter wasn't my favourite character. I wanted to go to Hogwarts but wasn't really into any one character. I did like Tonks and Luna later but by that point was probably a teenager. I started reading the books in late childhood when I was like 10 I think and then some didn't come out till I was well into my teens.

There was a trend in the 90s especially in cartoons (but even in other works generally,) where often you had to be very physically strong and prioritise physical strength to be a protagonist and good guy so if there was a powerful female character or just a guy who didn't fit that mould the character was typically a villain in media that was aimed at boys or more neutral works like Pokemon. Especially if the character had magic powers or was psychic or something. Sometimes they'd just have issues though and be more ambiguous. Also lots of sadism. This is still basically a thing now with Loki and Wanda lol (or inside Jordan Peterson's mind which is full of evil queens and pagan goddesses,) but this type of character is usually an anti-villain/anti-hero:

Witches and other supernatural beings could be protagonists in stuff aimed at girls like Sabrina the Teenage Witch or Mona the Vampire (though I wasn't really into that cartoon but remember reading a book.) but often female protagonists who had magical powers would end up abusing them at some point and doing messed up things so they'd be more morally grey than physically strong characters. I also liked Salem (the talking cat.) Lol. But he was a megalomaniac who was sentenced to 100 years as a cat for trying to take over the world. Many such cases.

"Let's destroy everything that's dear to him; let's indoctrinate him into the cathedral of agony."

"I'm going to write him a very stern letter!"

"your a regular mad max aren't you?"

Because of this show, I wanted to name my daughter Salem but my wife wouldn't let me.
That's such a cool name though.

I also liked the show Buffy The Vampire Slayer (very proto-goth kid,) but when I first started watching it when I was like 9 or something I could only sometimes watch it because it was mostly after my bed time lol. Had the best opening though:

I'm convinced the episode with 'The Gentleman' Hush inspired Slenderman actually lol.

So Buffy (the character,) wasn't perfect and made some bad/questionable choices at times (like Spoiler: her relationship with Spike in later seasons) but was essentially always the 'good guy' whereas Willow who was a witch and also a nerdy character became increasingly adept at magic, develops an addiction to magic, had a dark alter ego and uh well spoilers lol:

Spoiler: Used her powers to bring Buffy back from the dead at one point, also altered Tara's memories a couple of times, and then went on a crazy revenge spree chasing after the guys who killed Tara. She kills one of them by actually flaying him alive. She then decides to destroy the world as well after absorbing Giles' powers so she can feel the world's pain, until Xander talks her down from this and also planned to get Buffy to kill her so she could die.

I like the character of Buffy probably more than Willow (Willow is too similar to me in a bad way lol I usually like characters that are similar to that archetype though so I dunno,) but just pointing out the interesting ongoing dynamic. I suppose you could argue that a certain other character was also a witch but Spoiler: she had to die because she was a cinnamon roll character lol.

Most of the relationships on that show were unhealthy and I kind of ship Buffy and Tara although I think everyone ships Buffy with Faith which makes sense because they have that rivalry thing. There's no real cannon justification for Tara and Buffy either but they had some cute scenes.

    This opening was also good:

I liked that show a lot as a kid but wouldn't be able to watch it now (or most stuff I watched as a kid really, Buffy is still rewatchable.) Not cartoons again though lol.

I wasn't that into this show but also good opening:

They took it from The Craft soundtrack lol.

I think the Studio Ghibli films are great and I'm sad I didn't watch them as an actual kid but as a teenager instead because there are lots of cool characters.

Also yeah Sargon is praising how most of the 80s cartoon characters would solve their problems using violence. As I said though it's a bit [BEEP] how often the villains in shows aimed at boys are feminine and female characters. No they're not the fluffy pure angelic princess Mary in the Bible archetype who you rescue from a mushroom tower (lol mushroom tower, sure let's go with that,) they're dark feminine characters who are usually quite powerful but a lot of feminine people aren't the former either and/or don't want to be so...

    Message from the chat:

Xan if you run through what they are saying and put it side by side with the points of fascism I bet it will be 1 to 1
Yeah if you apply it to the political sphere that is pretty close. Fascism being an ideology of male violence as an end. If you can solve your problems through other means then that's obviously preferable. I don't think it matters in fiction though but they seem to think that's an ideal 'lesson' for reality or something. I don't think Sargon would cope well with war. I first stumbled on his channel during the gamergate era and after most people moved on from that he continued on sort of locked into the theme with his content I guess and he's been essentially shadowboxing since then. I don't think he's a particularly serious person. Especially based on his twitter posts about LGBT+ people being foreign invaders. I guess I'm going to go there... He's coping for his mixed identity too....

I remember a long time ago before he became a nationalist while talking to nationalists he brought up that he's 1/4 black. I don't know if all his relatives are from the UK or not seems so though where as it appears he only described his grandad as black. Generally speaking people know the ancestry of their grandparents in the UK unlike with black people in America. Then he started to lean hard into this English nationalist shtick. It reminds me of my dad who had a parent who was not from the UK originally and is very nationalistic. Many minority groups will try to suck up this way. But of course nationalism isn't an unusual political ideology for middle aged dads either especially if from a working class or lower middle class background.

I wonder to what extent that's just a form of... Some kind of social platitude? Maybe not the word I'm looking for. Like when men reflexively and habitually complain about their wives even though they married them. Like it's OK as long as you complain about it. He doesn't like that his son is watching these new cartoons but what is he doing about it?

Yeah just moving onto a completely different topic in this post.

    Lol this is me:

    Saw this though:

Lets be honest, we ALL expected Dano to say that line instead of Zoey lol
That's why I clicked on this video. 😂 But it would be out of character based on the other clips I watched.

And they cut it at such a bad time too. It seems quirky and I like some subplot I've learnt about from a comment, and the mattress store thing, but the overall premise just doesn't interest me enough to watch it.

"Do you have any interest in having sex with me?"
"NONONONOOOO!! NOOO!! AAAHHHG THIS IS NOT HOW IT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO!!"
was looking for this comment, thanks : D
That is how the video should have ended.

Yeah so I have to comment on the subplot because wtf:

This isn't the weirdest part of the movie. That honor goes to either [...] or the creepy homeless guy that randomly stalks and attacks Paul Dano like freaking Pyramid Head.
This is just not a plot that would have been written in a film like this ever. Except because Paul Dano is in it. I swear.

it can happen, usually these girl's are predators, the male equivalent of a creep. They can be pretty too. They know they can get the guy to go where they want but the guy's anxiety is their kryptonite haha. If you nod, then it will happen.
if a girl asks a guy to have sex it makes her a predator? Lol wtf how
Well if a guy were to ask that people would probably say the same? so yes, it does.
no men are the predators because they are the stronger sex.
OK then. Thanks for clearing that up.

This is the least neurotypical conversation I've heard in my life
One time at a house party a guy kissed me and said 'you can tell if a girl is drunk if she kisses back.' I didn't because I wasn't into him at all. A year or so later I did get completely drunk and it didn't change who I was attracted to or really anything in terms of sexual inhibition honestly. Completely fucked my motor skills though.

That might be the weirdest 'conversation' I guess irl. Had some very weird conversations online. A very autistic guy in a discord server I was in once invited me and some other people to do MDMA or psilocybin 'or potentially different psychedelics and entactogens' in the mojave desert 'or potentially a different desert or hotel.' I mean obviously it has to be in the desert unironically but no I don't have money etc.

Those eyes, those bangs? who doesn't immediately fall in love with Zooey?
Those bangs actually piss me off. Who's idea was it to bring back BANGS. Skinny jeans on, "men" and women with bangs are two of the most horrible things of the last decade, and that includes Joe Biden.
This is one of the most wrong comments anyone has ever written. It's one of the best haircuts. Also skinny jeans can be attractive but they're very uncomfortable to wear. Everyone seemed to assume they were joking so maybe they were.

Us men tend to say that we wish girls were upfront like this. In reality though, if this happened to me, I'd be super suspicious and walk away. Lol. I'd tell myself that no way a pretty girl would say that to ME unless it was some sort of trap. 🪤
    That's what I'm saying.

it is weird how she looks like the 30 second to Mars guy
Some of these comments are so random. Do they mean Jared Leto? I don't really see it. I guess the hair and eyes? But I don't think his eyes are as bright. There's like a 2 second moment in the music video for The Kill where the guitarist or bassist (I forget which and don't know his name. Yeah it's the guitarist) looks like Selma Blair though. But he doesn't generally only during that part and at that angle.

I had a doctor's appointment today and while in the waiting room they called my last name (which is a rare one - I've never seen anyone else with it that wasn't family) so I get up and go, but then the lady asks my first name and it was for somebody else. What are the chances that that somebody with my last name also had an appointment at around the same time as me? It was also weird that they were calling people by their first names, but they called that person by their last name. I would have never known if they didn't do that. A glitch in the matrix. Weird. lol.
