Just discovered the guy who played Jimmy Pesto on Bob's Burgers was involved in the Jan 6th attack on the US capitol:

Veteran voice actor Eric Bauza replaced Jay Johnston in the role of Jimmy Pesto Sr. in the fifth episode of the season "Bully-ieve It or Not", following Johnston's 2023 arrest by the FBI for his alleged involvement in the January 6 United States Capitol attack in 2021.[4][5] Johnston was arrested and charged with civil disorder, entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, and impeding passage through the Capitol grounds or buildings after video footage confirmed his participation in the riots.[4][6] His involvement resulted in reports of Johnston's firing from the show in late 2021.[7] Johnston's last episode voicing Jimmy Pesto Sr. was in the season 11 episode "Bridge Over Troubled Rudy".
    Crazy lol.

Diablo's Abattoir of Zir is a great way to improve your skill at masochism!
Don't want to brag or anything, but I'm pretty good at masochism 😊
Well I'm still not impressed Elon. Even if you did buy twitter to get dunked on by blood thirsty sadists.

There are a bunch of weird cis men who date trans women and then constantly post about how cis women suck and cis women aren't feminine anymore (generally they have trouble attracting cis women too,) so they're going to date trans women because they're more feminine and submissive. They do this with Asian women as well sometimes and it's like OK. Good for you. Why do you keep yelling at cis women?

You only hate afab people in general because we act like you (we actually don't lol, I'm much more feminine than most straight men and I'm non-binary.) It's funny though they kind of hate themselves. Actually there are loads of feminine cis women but they just focus on androgynous ones, [BEEP] cis women (who are more androgynous,) and trans masc people half the time. And alternative women who dye their hair and get piercings (also generally androgynous in various ways. Not 'lady like' basically.)

But if you do surveys and research on this most will find that lesbian and bisexual women are more masculine than straight women but Aella's research actually found the opposite effect I think where [BEEP] afab people were less masculine than straight women and someone in the comments who found that (because I don't think Aella highlighted that,) put it like 'it's almost like the identity is to be what a straight guy isn't.' Bingo. They don't like you either.

No they really do piss themselves off:

People are wrong sometimes though. I mean I've had people assume I'm a lesbian (and tell me,) not often but I'm something much weirder. Maybe the ratio of assumptions makes sense though sexuality wise.

It's funny when people think gay men look like lesbians I've seen people comment these things. Off the top of my head someone said this about Simon Amstell and and them (well one of them is gay I dunno if they both are):

Your friend is wearing peak lesbian fashion
It's the sunglasses mostly I think.

I'm a lesbian and I can confirm this is how I dress
They're both in lesbian fashion that's the beauty of this
Someone turned that into standup too lol:

I was also thinking about Norah Vincent the other day who was a butch lesbian who spent a year living as a man in 2006 (not trans, social experiment,) and most people assumed she was gay, because I was writing a post I didn't post. I'll quote some of that:

I've chosen not to medically transition and even if I did I might end up in some weird gender space like being perceived as a feminine gay man or something which I think is a different experience but it still surprises me when people don't know that this is going to happen at this stage:

I mean for starters Norah Vincent (not trans,) did a social experiment in 2006 where she lived as a man for a while to compare the experiences.

Uh I know she talked about this a bunch but too lazy to find quotes:

The main observation that she talks about is basically men's loneliness. Lack of intimacy in male spaces, and that both men and women are more hostile socially to men.
Self-Made Man: My Year Disguised as a Man is a 2006 book by journalist Norah Vincent, recounting an 18-month experiment in which she disguised herself as a man and then integrated into traditionally male-only venues, such as a bowling league and a monastery. She described this as "a human project" about learning. She states at the beginning that she is a lesbian but not transgender.
She wrote about how the only time she had ever been considered excessively feminine was during her stint as a man: her alter ego, Ned, was assumed to be gay on several occasions. Features of herself that had before been seen as butch were seen as oddly effeminate. Vincent stated that, after the experiment, she gained more sympathy for the male condition: "Men are suffering. They have different problems than women have, but they don't have it better. They need our sympathy, they need our love, and they need each other more than anything else. They need to be together."[2][3]
That's what I was saying and she's not the only person to describe that. I think this could be somewhat of a mindfuck in itself. But something similar happens anyway if people find out you're trans/non-binary and want to insult you lol they will point out all the ways your feminine if they think you're afab. I am pretty feminine but I don't exactly see myself as a feminine gay guy. Firstly because I'm non-binary (and not monosexual,) I've known some gay guys irl who I felt were more feminine than me in some ways (and I can't really explain why I felt this way but yeah,) but also if I consider one gay guy I did relate to a lot who is famous he gets comments like this:

He does look lika a lesbian freelance journalist, though...
Never knew he was gay tbh..Not that it matters to me.
The points I relate on don't matter to other's perception though people go off body language and sometimes hair length and other physical features. I find most social rules constricting in one way or another anyway. I'm in a weird position where people have had different views about me anyway which does not help when building an identity actually.

    Found this reddit thread lol:

CMV: Norah Vincent's psychological distress from living as a man is not evidence that life as a man is harder, but is evidence for the negative impacts of gender dysphoria.
I don't think that's plausible because trans people talk about similar stuff too. That was her perspective though I guess and I don't know if she said it was harder just that it was harder than she expected and not easier than 'living as a woman' but maybe she said it was harder at some point I don't know.

The other reason is the external experience of "passing" trans people. There are plentiful viewpoints from trans men who were socialized and treated as women, and trans women who were socialized and treated as men. They were treated one way before they were trans, and now that they "pass" as their gender, are treated the other way. They might not have the intrinsic experience of being both genders, but they do have the external one. They can speak to how society treats you different as a man, vs. as a woman. And I have seen accounts from both trans men and trans women, that they are treated more positively as a man.
But it's not black/white sometimes people who are ambivalent present as more feminine up to the point of passing as women to get access to attention + benefits that women have despite being cis men. Like some femboys and so on. Many people who live as non-conforming women are treated badly and so transitioning actually does help them socially. Sometimes people's lives were worse before transition and they feel more confident later. Really varies depending on individual and the environment, your class background etc.

One other factor I think is relevant to her why her experience was stressful is homophobia/misogyny. Norah was a lesbian and considered herself "butch", but in her experiment as a man, was frequently clocked as a effeminate or gay man. I think it's reasonable to entertain the notion that some of her negative experience could have been influenced from being fully accepted as a man, or that her feminity that was peeking through at times was being viewed in a negative way, or leading to negative treatment.
That makes more sense to me but it's not a trans/cis thing since I've seen trans men who are read as feminine detransition and often the reasons given are far more about gender roles and social stuff. Most aren't butch prior to doing that though so that aspect was a bit weird/interesting. They're usually attracted to men and can't hack being perceived as very feminine men because of how society treats people like that. Sometimes they miss presenting a certain way with makeup + long hair which they think is easier if they detransition and since many of these people are trans med and have a certain identity thing where their identity depends on medical status they just start saying they're women. Also correlation with these people declaring transition is bad etc and sometimes suppressing their sexuality. Thinking of a couple of people in particular I stumbled on on YouTube there. They tend to be very skeptical of transition even when they miss things about living as a guy.

I don't think the social situation was always like this exactly though if you read really old letters between some guys like Abraham Lincoln and Joshua Speed you can see they were pretty close:

When this shall reach you, you will have been Fanny's husband several days. [2] You know my desire to befriend you is everlasting---that I will never cease, while I know how to do any thing.

But you will always hereafter, be on ground that I have never ocupied, and consequently, if advice were needed, I might advise wrong.

I do fondly hope, however, that you will never again need any comfort from abroad. But should I be mistaken in this---should excessive pleasure still be accompanied with a painful counterpart at times, still let me urge you, as I have ever done, to remember in the dep[t]h and even the agony of despondency, that verry shortly you are to feel well again. I am now fully convinced, that you love her as ardently as you are capable of loving. Your ever being happy in her presence, and your intense anxiety about her health, if there were nothing else, would place this beyond all dispute in my mind. I incline to think it probable, that your nerves will fail you occassionally for a while; but once you get them fairly graded now, that trouble is over forever.

I think if I were you, in case my mind were not exactly right, I would avoid being idle; I would immediately engage in some business, or go to making preparations for it, which would be the same thing.

If you went through the ceremony calmly, or even with sufficient composure not to excite alarm in any present, you are safe, beyond question, and in two or three months, to say the most, will be the happiest of men.

I hope with tolerable confidence, that this letter is a plaster for a place that is no longer sore. God grant it may be so.

I would desire you to give my particular respects to Fanny, but perhaps you will not wish her to know you have received this, lest she should desire to see it. Make her write me an answer to my last letter to her at any rate. [3] I would set great value upon another letter from her.

Write me whenever you have leisure. Yours forever.

    A. LINCOLN

P.S. I have been quite a man ever since you left.
At this point this gets interpreted as homosexuality though and most guys are terrified of appearing gay. Not only does this not sound like how friends would write to each other now (regardless of gender,) it doesn't even sound like how romantic partners talk to each other most of the time. Most people don't have or least don't express this level of affection for one another anymore.

I mean case in point (though I guess it's different if it's early on):

My impression from things people say and certain videos clips is that women have become a lot more neurotic over time too and it's not actually normal for women to view every guy as a predator (which they often now do, also are encouraged to do really but they probably always were encouraged to do that so I don't know.) But like there are video clips of eg: a young woman now reacting in an almost traumatic way to being approached by a guy which I don't think would have happened in the past (it's a bit selective though she might have an anxiety disorder at the same time who doesn't in gen z?) and in fact you can find video footage of the 80s and 90s where strangers just have normal conversations in shops at 2:30am although she might have been drinking. Yeah this one...

    The comments are often like:

crazy how friendly everyone was. you'd get told to [BEEP] off now today
Is this real? Like you could just go up to people like this?
    Now everyone has social anxiety.
The french girl was beautiful, I definitely would've tried to get to know her. 😂
and back then she'd have loved the compliment unlike todays women where you are instantly a predator if you talk to them
This makes me wanna cry. Im so scared to leave my house because people are so mean now a days. I wish i grew up in this time.
^ then obviously there was a massive unnecessary argument about gay people under this.

This is America though in the UK there are regions which have just always been inexpressive and cold tbh. Also again I wasn't alive then so you'd need a lot of videos to say and people act differently on camera. Then on top of all that it was filmed near Disney World and people sometimes act differently in certain environments like that. Some of the comments are probably over romanticising things too.
Then I went into some personal stuff I don't want to post right now so just quoting that part of the post.

The Norah Vincent anecdote is funny though when you consider that Bill Burr stand up clip about gay men and lesbians because lesbians are just gay men living as women socially speaking.

Cis lesbians rarely present like straight women sometimes because they're naturally more masculine or androgynous but sometimes they present less like straight women on purpose. A minority do present that way but it's less common. What I notice is that a lot of trans lesbian women are really feminine and present like straight women. So then they have to deal with this lol:

If you're here to call me a heterosexual male, my wife is also a trans woman so lol
Also reminded me of a few other things I was reading yesterday. Someone posted this thread on reddit about Contrapoints 'male gaze' tangent on her patreon. I'm just going to quote part of the OP mostly so you can get the 'ideological energy' so to speak.

I also thought about the question Contra makes about how different is desire for women vs. gay men. It reminds me of when an ex told me that she started exploring sexuality by looking up porn of gay men. I think this is pretty common for us, but in this case it ended up in extremes of dysphoria and body dysmorphia, she tried to transition for a brief while before finally overcoming the fear of "female" sexuality. She grew up extremely religious and in a super controlled environment. yay, lesbians...

Which brings me to the third point, that is abandoning the term lesbian once and for all. Ladies, enbies and guys, am I crazy if every time I hear it I imagine the amount of data that exists in the planet tagged to this word? What are the chances that I'm being read in a decent way when saying it? Let's call it a reverse coopting of the word, and we leave it to all the Drakes out there
^ I thought this was a really weird place to end btw with no logical reason for that. They didn't explain their thought process from a to b very well at least. Maybe they think the term lesbian is restrictive to a lot of people's sexuality + gender experience? I think so but then those people can and have created other language. (Must to everyone's constant mass hatred,) Lesbian still works for some people.

Also I see this discourse a lot. It's an inverse of the women who are sexually attracted to/aroused by women so they end up watching 'lesbian' porn, but for whatever reason doesn't want to date them irl thing.

    What even is bisexual?

    Exactly.

We must remove the word lesbian because bisexuals aren't allowed to be bisexual, call themselves bisexual, be OK and mentally healthy in general lol. Removing the word lesbian will definitely help lol. That's going to solve biphobia and all the other material issues bisexual people (men and women,) have that rarely get talked about. (Mental health, substance abuse, poverty etc.)

I didn't get the Drake thing is that slang or a reference to the rapper I don't know anything about?

This made me figure out that most of my transness might be more closely related to this experience of trans identification, rather than body dysmorphia. Besides that, I thought about all the songs I love that are about desire, written by women but as men. My original post said to send me some song recs, you nerds, and I stand by that - I may or may not already have a playlist dedicated to this
What if we were all one gender and sexuality except cis straight men? This too is really common now. They're not explicitly saying that but I find a lot of discourse online doing that and I think people do this (I do as well,) because they're excluded from core male culture and most of the world has tended towards that system of gender when it's not doing the Western binary thing.

It's a problem though imo. But I also don't think there's a system that exactly works.

Obviously Contrapoints also avoided discussing bisexual people, trans people or non-binary people really but included her own anecdotes and experiences of identifying with male characters and shipping them when discussing female sexuality etc and tried to make her own experiences of identification fit into a lesbian female box or at least that how it came across (it's worth bearing in mind that Contrapoints came out as genderfluid first ages ago. Then started identifying as female after medically transitioning.) and I think she discussed lesbians who obviously talk about watching gay male porn, definitely the book she referenced mentioned that and she also talked a bit about yaoi and stuff like that. Then had a section titled the 'genderfluid gaze' based on a book which adopts this lens 'girls who like boys who like boys' but it's trying to force everything into a female box essentially. It's ironic in a section titled 'genderfluid gaze' lol but that's still how it comes across when it's contrasted with maleness right. You just expanded femaleness and it's implied that all or at least most women are huge fans of that kind of thing (which they're not,) and so it's representative, and it's separated from 'the male gaze'

Is this gay man now a woman? Because his sexuality description sounds 'female gaze' he's not talking about Magic Mike, 6 packs and firemen (and also the Jesus bit and a bunch of other stuff sounds like Fleabag a bit lol. And I also went through a phase of reading Jesus and Satan fanfiction that's why I found that part so funny.) Half of that is probably exaggerated or just for comedy though.

    Great show! Love Simon!
He does look lika a lesbian freelance journalist, though...
    I guess so.

    Therapists are useless ime too.

Also it's the whole thing where they've stolen the word twink from gay male culture and then 'but we're very different from men.'

You had to steal a word from men to get your point across.

I think Contrapoints was even trying to call out the essentialist stuff in the video to some extent but then still kind of doing it at the same time. But also I think the books she was looking at were because progressive and feminist culture just does this by default. It's completely disconnected from male culture and I think that was even her point in the video to some extent that straight men have to try and identify with women more than they do (that was her proposed solution I guess.)

I don't exactly care when people want to simplify things to binary choices on an individual level (I also understand the many reasons they do,) but it's very obvious to me based on this post by a trans person no less that it leads to other people's erasure. Especially bisexual people, non-binary people and trans masculine people. And bisexual and non-binary people in particular aren't doing well...

This is obviously a big issue:

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8363999/

"There Is Nothing to Do About It": Nonbinary Individuals' Experience of Gender Dysphoria
Participants' descriptions of individual instances of dysphoria often detailed the sentiment that there was no solution to ease their dysphoria:

When I look in the mirror and I'm naked, I notice my broad shoulders, ribcage, and neck. I get depressed by it because I know there is nothing to do about it. (White nonbinary person, 31)

I get depressed because there's no answer. (White man, 26)

I feel uncomfortable and disgusted with (my breasts) and being called a woman, but being a man never sat right either. (Biracial/Multiracial androgyne, 27)
Central to the way participants expressed their hopelessness surrounding their gender dysphoria was the way their nonbinary identity could not be adequately translated into a nongendered body:

Crying about inability to change my body as I want to (I only desire about half the effects hormones would provide) (White gender nonconforming woman, 28 )

My ideal body is one assigned male at birth i.e., flat chest, penis. I was born AFAB. I always wear baggy shirts/jackets to hide my breasts when possible. I have also had breakdowns over the fact that it is most likely medically impossible for me to obtain a normally functioning penis. (Asian/Asian American agender person, 18 )

It's just really confusing and I feel crazy/fake/whatever because it's frustrating not knowing what I want and constantly thinking I've gotten to what I wanted and then feeling like that's not right either; thinking I should've stuck as something else or trying to find something else new. (Biracial/Multiracial nonbinary woman, 33)
Conclusion: Results of this study suggest that nonbinary transindividuals experience gender dysphoria in unique ways. These findings highlight the need to develop clinical assessments of gender dysphoria that reflect nonbinary experience, and to outline explicit medical protocols for interventions tailored to achieve a desired outcome of physical androgyny.
I mean I want a lower voice but I have too many fears about medically transitioning. I also don't want to lose my hair. I'm very shallow and it's important to me. I also think with the way I look the combination of traits would be weird and I'd also be rejected a lot and it wouldn't communicate what I want socially (not that how I look now does either so it's I can't win I guess lol.) So I keep thinking about how my bone structure is completely wrong for transitioning to really work + I'm 5'2." Then I have the weird ambivalent situation with my chest where I sort of dissociate from it and pretend it's not there and don't really want it involved sexually but if I was dating that would cause a lot of issues. I have experimented with that before irl but I didn't like it. I think if I'd never grown breasts I would have been happier but now I have them I don't like the idea of surgery because the results aren't always perfect and I internalised the idea growing up in the 90s that body modification is 'giving in' or something + I'm risk averse and surgery scares me. I mostly just wish I could shapeshift then I wouldn't have to compromise but would realistically just be in a mostly androgynous male body with female genitals most of the time (unless having sex, the only time I care about having a dick is when it comes to sex.) It's a really [BEEP] place to be stuck.

So I try not to think about this too much (also incels are seen as cringe and caring about your physical appearance isn't considered masculine so there's some more irony there,) but the annoying thing is that you're supposed to constantly think about this and talk about it to 'prove yourself' otherwise you're cisgender which I find very obnoxious. (Like with bisexuality you're supposed to be dating a man and a woman at the same time all the time or constantly going back and forth and also constantly talking about attraction.) You are making my life worse by claiming that my gender identity should be tied to pain and dysphoria. I'm a very neurotic person as if I don't have enough things to obsess about lol.

And right now I'm trying to remove hair from a tiny set of wheels using scissors and tweezers.

Also Contrapoints came out as a lesbian after reading the lesbian masterdoc thing that was popular at one point and the woman who created that later came out as bisexual anyway. And Contrapoints has had more relationship and sexual experience with men than I have (it was obvious from the way she talked about her former relationship in her Shame video with a guy and how long it went on for that it worked at least to some extent sexually - mine really didn't and one of my relationships was asexual - and also that she emotionally connected on a deeper level than I did with either of my ex's. But ultimately she realised she'd prefer to be in a relationship with a woman and loved women more. But I still consider myself attracted to men in spite of that lol. It works from a distance but I haven't had many options - no options with women and very limited options with men. I also have attachment issues...) I'll just leave this here I guess:

this whole thing of feminine men basically being women really annoyed me about the doc. thank you for making this video I feel really understood and validated in my bisexuality/pansexuality!
it's about the femininity for me. realizing that the only reason i felt a vague sense of attraction towards feminine men exclusively and that it immediately disappeared the moment they presented as even slightly more traditionally masculine helped me realize i didn't like men, i liked their feminine qualities only, and i was attracted to them bc, being raised by very homophobic and religious parents, feeling attraction to women instead was unthinkable. does that mean i only like feminine women? no, but that's definitely my primary type. the thing about lgbt+ discourse is that neither side takes the time to really think and understand the other one, like most ppl in this comment section prove.
Oh god the mental gymnastics. I've considered all these points (or similar points,) they bring up like this one at some point in my life haha. Cause I was into women as a kid but I was very paraphilic as well like most of my early 'sexual' memories involve some kind of transformation mind control or other weird context. Like April from teenage mutant ninja turtles being turned into a cat woman and then had a mind control collar put on her. And especially like Poison Ivy right from the batman film I liked her character a lot and the scene where she transforms, but then later I just started fantasising about her as a man or intersex inside my head and I do this a lot and also have developed very idiosyncratic interests like 'people who are into plants' and 'people who are into cats' catboys (as in guys with a few cat traits physically/psychologically,) bunny boys most recently (but even that's not technically new. I just found an audio thing I liked lol. It's not always on my mind.) I find traits that women have and project them onto guys or find guys with those traits, then find those guys attractive. So 'clearly it's because I'm repressed' I don't think that's how it works though. Because I'm at least consciously aware I'm sexually turned on by men and women.

Some people (like me,) are just sexually weird in general too lol. At that point it's not even a sexual orientation thing. And clearly in that case it's all because of kids cartoons. 😐

But the important thing to remember is that no matter how it happened. There is always something wrong with you. For enjoying anything sexual that's non-procreative. And being attracted to anyone who doesn't conform to gender stereotypes.

If you're attracted to feminine men that means you have some attraction to men, you're just strongly female-leaning bi with a preference for femininity.
It's also kind of understandable if it's femboys who pass as women but I see people say this and then they're attracted to butch and androgynous women. Who act masculine. And I see them on tumblr especially. They don't care about sex traits either. If I find a guy attractive because of the type of guy I'm often into 9/10 someone on tumblr who id's as a lesbian will be attracted to them. (Maybe this happens with way more physically masculine guys too but I'm not into them so would never notice lol. It probably does sometimes.) So in some cases it's really more that your attraction is to femininity and androgyny and maybe neoteny a bit, then there's cis straight men who are like that. Horrifying I know.

It gets very complicated. Inside my head in a fantasy context I [BEEP] around with people's gender a lot. But I think if you're doing this you've got to be at least somewhat bisexual. No one wants to hear that. 'How can I fit this into a lesbian/straight box' why don't you just stop?

Actually she's British too. (The YouTuber verilybitchie.)

A while back there was this whole uproar after Abby from PhilosophyTube (also British,) said that dysphoria wasn't real or something. Then Contrapoints responded to that saying 'yes it is' but deleted the tweet afterwards. I think also it wasn't just a response to her specifically but the wider discourse going on around the time.

I think British and American trans people disagree quite often. And I think it's partly because the medicalisation and strict criteria causes issues here top down and we don't have informed consent here or anything like that. I think you do have some options if you go private but mostly you're stuck with trying to prove yourself to various people.

But also lots of LGBT+ people online have issues with one another lol (and lots of people in general for that matter.) So I mean that's not really relevant most likely lol.

It's not just with physical dysphoria either but based on stereotypes. This also causes issues in other countries like this:

It's quite regressive. I don't know to what extent things have changed over time but it also depends a lot on your doctor. I know Philosophy Tube had a lot of issues getting medical treatment because she made a video about that. She had to email her doctor 133 times. Then there are very long wait lists in general on the NHS. I know most non-binary people just go private if they want top surgery here.

A non-binary person responded to that reddit thread though:

While I haven't seen the tangent, my thoughts on the male gaze as a whole a pretty divided.

On one hand it's of course necessary to talk about how most media reflects the views and the 'gaze' of straight cis men. Anyone who doesn't belong to that group just cannot escape this view in media and we're all forced to identify and empathize with it, whether we want it or not. Like, of course I, and probably many other [BEEP] women* know the experience of consuming porn or just romance content from other [BEEP] people and feeling a lot more seen from the get go than with straight content.

But when you start to apply this concept on a wider scale and going too deep into how 'inherently different' the sexualities of straight men and gay women are, or the differences between men and women as whole, it seeks to veer off into uncomfortable gender essentialist theories.

"Men are all lustfull trash who cannot help but see women as just a piece of meat to conquer because they're just so dumb and think with their dicks" vs. "Women are all pure uwu innocent angels who can never do any harm and just blush and stutter around someone they like, they could never have impure thoughts about other women." Like. That's just the same stereotypes about men not controlling themselves and women not even thinking about sex just in woke.

I think it's very important to make that distinction between trends in media and real people's experiences. I, as a rather fem gay NB person, fucking love tits. Women are hot as fuck. And I can talk about these things to my cis guy friends and they can also say "tits are great man", and that doesn't mean that they're objectifying misogynists who wouldn't respect their girlfriends or other women in their lives, and there also exists gay women who just use other women for sex. And sure, you could make the argument that we've all also been indoctrinated by the male gaze and just can't hell but see women in the same way as cis straight men but it's like that's easy, or even possible, to completely change.

In the end, you can have as many perverted sexual thoughts about a person (or a whole gender) as you like as long as you still respect and acknowledge and treat the people involved as people first and foremost.
So I actually think this homophobic/biphobic when people suggest we've been indoctrinated by 'the male gaze.' There's this argument that especially bisexual women are bisexual because of the media and porn and that they also shouldn't be. And this viewpoint is spread by conservatives as much as 'progressives' it's very common for progressives to do this. I've seen people who would claim to be feminists on mum's net etc doing this. I've been told this myself by well meaning people I like before. Like because women are sexualised it creates that reaction. But from my pov I don't find most men attractive and there are clearly lots of men who are sexualised that gay men like and it does nothing for me because they're not my type. So I greatly question that theory.

So there are a lot of women who watch 'lesbian' porn and then conclude that they're straight (and a straight guy would never watch gay porn it's ridiculous,) because they don't want a relationship with a woman. And it's also seen as wrong and bad to do this and to be turned on by women. So you feel a lot of disgust and shame about it. Also not wanting a relationship with people who sexually arouse you is seen as wrong in general and objectifying. You're supposed to emotionally attach in a romantic sense to everyone you find sexually arousing. Which of course is not how most people's sexuality works. I mean people invented the label demisexual for this reason and there's still people trying to claim that's normal. Well it exists because actually lots of people don't require an emotional connection to be turned on by people.

Also I think it's possible to respect people especially irl, and be turned on by women without pair bonding with them. Even like if you have a fwb or something. You don't have to have a romantic relationship to respect someone as a person and have sex.

You can tell that she deliberated about this a ton because she hadn't been in love with anyone (that's another I don't think she'd loved a guy either lol from what she said. But that's not being discussed because 'obviously all women are straight' it's probably an attachment style thing,) and on top of everyone grilled her about this constantly because she had a lot of gay male fans, and for some reason they also assumed she was a trans woman:

And I consider this narrative to function as a form of lowkey conversion therapy because if you are disgusted and/or ashamed of your sexuality - which lots of people are - then it's going to encourage you to distance yourself from that as much as possible. Which is very easy to do if you're not 100% gynephilic.

This mostly effects [BEEP] people obviously but it doesn't just effect [BEEP] people.

And so peak this is actually a tweet that shoeonhead posted yesterday and because of all of this I just assumed it was posted by a [BEEP] woman (because I've seen them do this, and obviously he's in that bubble,) but it wasn't it was actually a straight guy apparently.

Oh no not that. I haven't heard anything about him since he got punched in the face tbh.

    This:

translated from Twitter Progressive to English:

    "i am attracted to women"

I want to highlight that these images and that part of the trailer did basically nothing for me. Similar stuff has before but it depends on my mood and I don't know what else. Having an estrogen dominant hormone system is pretty weird in general. But it goes to show that it's not just because it's 'supposed to be sexy' that it is. That's not how [BEEP] works.

In spite of everything we don't all have the same sexuality. People are not infinitely malleable. From my pov I think it has a bigger impact with race than sex and body parts and masculinity/femininity and things like that. No matter what they do I'll never find a bodybuilder attractive. If the never ending action films and superhero films didn't make it work. It's not going to. The golden one has a cat and that other body builder guy has a cat and is using cute emojis and posting stuff like it came from a woman's instagram account (I feel like they're doing it on purpose lol to attract a certain audience... But I can't prove that and it might just be because they're autistic or something since The Golden One claimed to be, most right wingers think liking cats is heresy and you can't be posting about how you're eating chocolate on a rainy day or using blushing emojis etc,) but I can't overlook the fact that they're not my physical type but in fairness the whole far right political thing isn't helping either lol.

Even with race and other factors I don't know that it has much influence in adulthood it seems like probably most of the stuff that happens happens in childhood and what you connect to then. So it's important then and more or less pointless to shame adults. Even the people who are like 'promiscuous bisexual women are fatherless' yeah that happened in their childhood it has an effect then from what I can see. Now it's too late. (Also not always.) I don't think my sexual preferences have changed much except to become less attracted to certain people and more specific (probably as a result of sex drive etc, seemed higher as a teenager and stuff was 'new' etc.) In spite of exposure to various media. I've seen sexologists discuss this too though mostly talking about male sexuality becoming more specific or something. They often don't bother researching the female sex as much (trans or cisgender, straight or queer,) so there's generally a lack of info there.

That's another thing right? Why is it being politicised when nobody understands how anything works properly?

And now I've just gotten sidetracked by nonsense twitter takes lol. Shoe's profile is a black hole.

    fellas,,,,

    is it feminine,,,,,,

    to not have an STD?

I'm going to do something different here. Yes it's feminine. Why not. Femininity is good sometimes. You can make a case that this is masculine too stereotypically and historically speaking (cause asceticism is masculine and female people who took on 'male roles' were expected to be celibate where as feminine women were written about like they're very sexual and constantly tempting men because projection,) but that doesn't really matter. It will always be weaponised.

I also know accounts like this post these things because they're scared of being slut shamed or responding to that but I don't think this is a great response.

There are pros and cons to both that's why they're both reproductive strategies that Humans have. If you have a lot of sex without being careful you risk unwanted pregnancy + stds. And if you're incredibly unrestricted you might not be able to have a close romantic relationship at all (as is the case for some people.) If you're incredibly restricted you might never have sex and you miss out one way to have fun and enjoyment in life. I don't mean if you started engaging in that behaviour you would have fun - if you're not the type of person who finds sex fun you won't but people who enjoy having lots of sex have an advantage because they have that way of enjoying life but it comes with risk as well obviously.

People are so black/white about this and it's so retarded. I think we can all agree that I have the shittest situation where I neither have fulfilling romantic relationships or fun casual sex. So I win at losing.

This is kind of how society functions now lol. People don't just compete over who is the best, but also who is the worst.

Somebody warned us about that too but we don't care:

Didn't even get burnt at the stake because of heresy like Joan of Arc.

    And no cool armour....

'It was necessary' Joan of Arc told a French court in the spring of 1431, 'that I changed my clothes.'
This is entangled experience of faith and gender has a cross-cultural history: less than fifty years after the Public Universal Friend's gendered transformation, another North American person, Ka?xuma n?pika, revealed that they had been transformed into a man by a spiritual vision, and lived as a man and a prophet for the rest of their life. Ka?xuma n?pika has much in common with people who would today describe themselves using the inter-tribal term Two-Spirit -- a term which recognises the inherently spiritual nature of many of these gendered experiences. For Joan as a person of faith, their selfhood and their spirituality would have been entangled -- and in this, they belong to a historical and contemporary community of people who experience their gender as not simply human, but spiritual too.
You have two wolves inside of you one wants to get burnt at the stake the other wants to punch Edward Dutton in the face.

I wasn't really aware of this culture when I was younger, but growing with autism, girls with this mindset always recognized my inability to fit in with the mainstream and took me under their wing. I owe a lot of my greatest learning experiences to them.
I was one of these girls but wasn't diagnosed autistic until 37. It all clicks now. Most of us, at least in my group, were (are) autistic.
This is just me when I was 11/12ish (2002-2003,) but I wasn't doing it on purpose or as a cultural thing I just didn't shower often enough so my hair would get greasy due to not being washed often enough and then at one point in class some girl pointed it out in a negative way so I probably started doing it more often after that. Same with wearing bras I didn't want to but at one point in PE this girl went around trying to ping the bra straps of everyone and noticed that I wasn't wearing one so then I started wearing one but only to PE class. These days I do but only because I don't want the sensation of them moving around. Back then I probably didn't really need to as much.

I also never wore makeup so as I said before this inspired a bunch of girls at one point to insist on giving me a makeover. Also so I would look more attractive then the girl who bullied me (one of them actually said that,) but I didn't care about the competition and why would I want to look like her in the first place?

Aella never showers. I mean never or basically never btw it's one of the things she's infamous for on twitter. I think people have wondered if she has autism too (and she's wondered that about herself.) Of course she's aware it's weird now but doesn't care lol.

So I googled that and found some PUA type blog post which mentions Aella.

Then I fell down an entire rabbit hole of blogs from some serious dickheads so vented about that but editing it out of this post now. The fucking depths of hell that you find so easily with a google search is insane.

Read some other stuff reminding me how alienated I am. (Not related to above dickheads.)

I'm so exhausted again. There's so much stupid [BEEP] everyone's saying on both sides of the 'gender war.' But the combination of identity + age + beliefs I have seems almost unique and don't feel comfortable anywhere entirely. I want to go to sleep until AI is perfected to the point where it can just find me the perfect group of people to hang out with or just go back in time when the internet felt less terrible in general or something I dunno.

[removed even more really annoying stuff.]

77% support protecting transgender people from employment and housing discrimination, but Britons are among the least supportive of gender-affirming measures
So 1 in 5 people think we should be discriminated against in employment and housing? That's fun. But then I already knew 1 in 3 employers won't hire someone if they find out they're trans in my country.

Oh my God I love how this is presented as a positive thing because a majority agree but 1 in 5 people basically think we should be homeless lol. That's what this is essentially saying. This isn't even a transgender thing it's just 'this group of people should not be allowed to have housing or employment.' Wtf?

Meanwhile you're supposed to medically transition and not be closeted? Thanks useless online trans community.

Majority support for allowing same-sex couples to marry (though softer than in 2021) and to adopt children; and
    That's fun too.

47% agree that transgender teenagers should be allowed to receive gender-affirming care, such as counselling and hormone replacement treatment, with parental consent,
47% agree that government-issued documents such as passports should have options other than "male" and "female" for people who do not identify as either,
40% agree that transgender people should be allowed to use single-sex facilities, such as public restrooms, that correspond to their gender,
36% agree that health insurance systems should cover the costs of gender transition no differently than the costs of other medical procedures.
Pretty bleak really. They've lumped these all together too. 51% really don't even think teenagers need counselling? There's a really high rate of depression and suicidal behaviour/ideation also I see people online telling trans people to kill themselves all the time. Mental health treatment in the UK is a joke anyway though.

I'm not sure why non-binary people have a better quality of life in the US than in the UK but it looks like that might be true:

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6830991/

To date, Rimes et al.’s (2017) study is the only empirical research to explicitly compare quality of life among non-binary and binary transgender people and they actually found that non-binary transgender youth had better quality of life when compared with binary transgender youth. However, the quality of life measure used had not been validated with transgender people and no cisgender people were employed as a control group.

In contrast, a national survey within the UK did find transgender people (binary and non-binary) to report poorer quality of life when compared to cisgender people (Government Equalities Office, 2018 ). When specific gender identities were explored, transgender men had the lowest quality of life scores, followed by non-binary transgender people and then transgender women (Government Equalities Office, 2018 ).
I definitely don't think the UK is anywhere near the best country to live in if you're trans or non-binary. Looks like this survey answered the question of how bad it is for me:

Compared to other countries, Britain falls more toward the middle of the pack in perceiving transgender people to face discrimination in society and agreeing that transgender people should be protected from discrimination.

However, Britons' support for gender-affirming measures consistently falls in the bottom six of the 30 countries surveyed. Among the 30 countries covered, support for various pro-transgender measures is consistently high in Thailand, Italy, Spain, and throughout Latin America; it tends to be lowest in South Korea, throughout Eastern Europe, in Great Britain, and in the United States where transgender rights and protections have become polarizing political issues.

I've never met a trans guy in the UK and neither has my brother but we've both met a few trans and non-binary people (some came out after I knew them, and I think possibly someone my brother knew who came out as bigender or something originally came out as a trans woman later so not sure if he's really known any non-binary people besides me.) I think I'm the only afab trans person either of us have met. I think it might be less common here in our generation.

Both in Britain and amongst all countries surveyed, women and younger adults are more likely than men and older adults, respectively, to say the transgender community faces a lot of discrimination. They also show higher levels of support for all types of measures in favour of transgender people, with differences of about 6 to 9 points between women and men and between Gen Zers and Boomers.
I think one thing that's sucked about being LGBT+ for several generations now is that you end up kind of alienated in an age sense because people die younger often - during the aids crisis obviously a lot of gay men died, many people commit suicide, the rate of mortality for homosexual people is about equivalent to heterosexual people now at least according to a 2020 study in Sweden which is good but bisexual people still die earlier. Trans women have an elevated risk of death but trans men don't if compared to cis men (but they do when compared to cis women. Cis men are more likely to die from suicide attempts too):

Trans women had particularly elevated risks of death--notably from heart disease, lung cancer, HIV-related illness and suicide--the researchers noted, and were almost twice as likely to die than cis men and nearly three times as likely to die than cis women.

There were no differences in the risks of death between trans and cisgender men, the study found, though the group was almost twice as likely to die than cis women, especially from non-natural causes like suicide.

The researchers said the findings add weight to the idea that the health disparities observed in transgender people are not primarily driven by gender-affirming hormone treatment--which can potentially increase the likelihood of some conditions--as most causes of increased death identified have no indication of being a consequence of this.
and people your own age or older are often not accepting so it becomes a very young community where you don't necessarily fit in if you're older.

Apparently homophobes are actually killing people indirectly:

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - People who are gay, lesbian or bisexual tend to die earlier in communities where citizens are less accepting of same-sex relationships, according to a new study.
I wonder if more homophobic areas also have higher poverty rates though, I would imagine so.

HIV, AIDS and behaviors such as smoking and drinking did not appear to be behind the shorter life expectancies.

What's more, the researchers found that people who reported only opposite-sex relationships also tended to have shorter lives if they lived in high-stigma communities rather than low-stigma ones.

It's too early to say why there would also be a link between stigma and life expectancy among the sexual majority, according to Hatzenbuehler.
^ That's interesting too. Probably stress related in part.

A lot of these studies are done in the US which makes them somewhat useless for my purposes except maybe as a starting point. The UK is better than some areas of the US, and worse than some.

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6830991/

In light of the gaps within the literature, this study aimed to explore mental health and quality of life among adult non-binary transgender people and to compare these levels to two control groups (binary transgender people and cisgender people). Only transgender people (non-binary and binary) who had not undergone any Gender Affirming Medical Intervention (GAMI) were eligible for this study as these interventions have been shown to have a positive effect on mental health and quality of life (e.g., Dhejne et al., 2016; Nobili et al., 2018; White Hughto & Reisner, 2016).
    It's me. Woo. (unenthusiastic tone.)

Non-binary transgender people recruited from the community and not undergone any gender affirming medical interventions have been found to report lower levels of gender incongruence and body dissatisfaction when compared to binary transgender people (Jones, Haycraft, Bouman, & Arcelus, 2019b). Consequently, lower levels of gender incongruence and body dissatisfaction may explain why non-binary transgender people were found to report better (although still poorer than cisgender people) mental health compared to binary transgender people.
Despite non-binary transgender people having better mental health than binary transgender people, overall there were no differences in quality of life between these two groups.
So we're less mentally ill but our lives still suck? That's fun.

Also the results summary at the beginning only mentions amab non-binary people which is weird:

Results: Non-binary people reported significantly better mental health than binary transgender people, but worse than cisgender people. Overall, there were no significant differences in quality of life between non-binary and binary transgender participants assigned male at birth and transgender females, but non-binary assigned males at birth had better scores on the psychological and social domains of quality of life than transgender males. Quality of life was better across all domains in cisgender people than transgender groups.
These are the results for afab people further down (who wrote that summary honestly?) Compared to trans men it seems similar on some measures and better on others and worse than cis women:

These findings indicate that for all the WHOQOL-BREF subscales assessed, cisgender females had the highest quality of life when compared to non-binary transgender people (AFAB). On the overall, physical health and environmental subscales, non-binary transgender people (AFAB) and transgender males scored similar. However, on the psychological and social relationships subscales, non-binary transgender people (AFAB) had higher quality of life compared to transgender males.
It doesn't seem like they compared amab and afab non-binary people or afab non-binary people to trans women or didn't mention that but just skim reading.

It is therefore likely that variables differently mediate the relationship between mental health and quality of life among non-binary and binary transgender people. For binary treatment seeking individuals, gender incongruence and body dissatisfaction are likely to have a prominent role in the relationship between mental health and quality of life (e.g., Jones et al., 2019b). Whereas social support, loneliness, and isolation may play a more significant role in explaining the relationship between mental health and quality of life among non-binary transgender people due to the intolerant attitudes held towards non-binary transgender people within cis- and hetero-normative societies (Nicholas, 2018 ). Therefore, future research should be concerned with exploring meditators of the relationship between mental health and quality of life in non-binary and binary transgender people separately to inform more specific intervention for these groups.
I think my issues with physical dysphoria are less severe than binary trans people who can't get treatment but I have a lot social dysphoria + alienation issues where I have no social life essentially irl outside of my family and even then I have to constantly suppress the social dysphoria from being closeted around my parents. And my brother misgenders me often even though I'm out to him. And I have panicky feelings when even discussing this issue with people irl.

There's not really any support online. My issues have been dismissed even from people who generally support trans people - not just people questioning how I'm a man or how I'm trans etc but also my mental health issues including some I've received treatment from in the past. The sexism online is off the charts. And even sometimes other non-binary people who are amab will dismiss afab people in a similar way to how bisexual women are treated within the LGBT+ community. Even cis women often refer to non-binary people as 'following a trend like bisexual women and being 'not like the other girls' without realising that this is ultimately a misogynistic viewpoint. Sometimes the entire trans community will gang up on afab non-binary people online... This is just my experience.

Due to a combination of anxiety and avoiding any groups in my town (which ties into anxiety and avoidant/schizoid stuff,) I also don't know anyone irl (in general but also no support groups etc.) I know many amab non-binary people online complain about being rejected from groups for 'women and non-binary people' where the people who run those groups assume non-binary = afab person who also looks a certain way. Puts me off going to groups too though I don't know if this is an issue in the UK most trans and non-binary people I come across on social media are from the US (another issue because I don't live there.) So yeah the social support aspect is 0 imo.

    So basically yeah I agree.

    This seems optimistic lol:

In conclusion, there is an inequality with regard to mental health and quality of life between non-binary and binary transgender people and the cisgender population that needs to be addressed. Poor mental health and quality of life among binary transgender people is likely to be associated with gender incongruence and body dissatisfaction. The inequality between non-binary and cisgender people with regards to mental health and quality of life is likely to have a social cause hence legislative measures should be put in place to abolish the gender binary and remove the need to comply with such an inflexible social construct.
I think it's also a technological problem potentially.

I find there's a lot less research on non-binary people compared to other groups in the LGBT+ community atm so looking into that periodically.

I think some findings about mental health depend on what study you look at really. This was like a global study I guess:

The researchers at Sapiens Lab, a non-profit research organisation focused on tracking changes in the mind and brain, released their report on Tuesday (15 March). It’s the world’s biggest and most detail global mental wellbeing study, and saw more than 223,000 people participate between 1 January and 31 December 2021.
In different regions, between 31 per cent and 85 per cent of non-binary people are clinically distressed or struggling, the report, researched by Sapiens Labs, reveals.
So it varies a lot. 85% is insane.

Overall the results showed a significant gender gap, with mental wellbeing slightly higher in men than in women, and significantly lower among non-binary people and those who are third gender.

Globally, men scored 68 per cent on average while women scored 62 percent – a difference of two percentage points on the MHQ scale.

But globally, non-binary people scored on average just 25 per cent, a 12 to 13 per cent difference from men or women. This pattern was most distinct among young adults, aged 18 to 24, and in Latin American countries.

This finding confirms what other studies have found, which is that non-binary – and trans – people experience worse mental health than their cis peers, be they LGB or heterosexual.
    Another finding about richer countries:

Richer countries experience worse mental health, study suggests

While the report didn't go so far as to establish exactly why the pandemic had such an impact on global mental health, it did find that the economic success of a country is negatively correlated to mental health – in other words, the better a country’s economy is doing, the worse the mental health of its population.
Well I don't think anyone thinks this system is working.

This point is supported by the finding that the worst mental health outcomes are in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa – some of the world’s biggest and strongest economies. They are also countries, such as the UK, where a successful economy has driven inequality and a cost-of-living crisis for many.
That's not the only pattern there they're also all Anglosphere countries which I have said, are quite fucked. The English speaking internet is also quite insane.

"Overall the findings were surprising and left us to ponder that perhaps our systems of economic growth, values of individualism and a shift from in-person to largely digital interaction fosters an environment of poor mental wellbeing. This data makes clear that, to nurture the human spirit, we need a new paradigm."
Lol you don't say. This doesn't surprise me at all honestly. Most of the insane and terrible people online on social media sites are from the US and UK.

    Regarding alienation etc.

While they should have been clearer this guy is a really annoying person (who also has issues with non-binary people and is prob transphobic in general,) so I kind of don't care:

Matched with a Gen Z girl on tinder and she went on a date with me and everything, it was explicitly stated that it was a date. She told me afterwards that she's an asexual non-binary lesbian and she thought it was a "friend date." She was completely sincere.
And yeah I still tried to bang her afterwards lol
And no I'm telling you she was genuinely sincere and meant all of this, it wasn't some elaborate ploy to let me down easy. Gen Z girls just ghost you if they don't like what they see. This chick genuinely thought this was normal behavior
Half the recent posts I found on r/ftm were also cis straight men and their nonsense coincidentally:

My boyfriend and I were discussing the side effects of my testosterone (3 months!!!) and he said something about how because I'm a biological woman my hormones metabolize differently than a cis man.

He met me after I started my social transition, he doesn't even know what my deadname is. But this isn't the first time he?s said something that made me super uncomfortable. He's introduced me to his buddies as his girlfriend before, which I told him I didn't like. He?s also declined any sort of sexual intimacy since I started T, and he's always had a "reason" but from his tone of voice I can tell he's not telling the truth. He knows I hate being called a woman, being perceived as feminine. And for him to call me a woman when he knows it makes me uncomfortable just sucks.

I'm hurt. And I was already considering breaking up with him. But I think this seals the deal.
They need to stop dating trans people. I'm kind of glad when they date people who they assume they can just misgender forever and then they start taking testosterone and so ultimately that guy wastes his own time lol. Serves him right. They were together for a year I think? Kind of insane to me at the most I've stayed with someone for several months.

When your uwu soft trans boyfriend goes on T and starts looking manly /lh
I could overlook that maybe but that wasn't the case here he retardedly thought he could just misgender this guy forever and treat him as his girlfriend. They're all really smug about this [BEEP] too.

they baffle me too. but I think it boils down to (certain) cishet men viewing trans men as tomboyish women, and a lot of cishet men assume women will change for them or that what they want is more important than what their partner needs.
Yes. Again I like the cases where they also ultimately waste their own time like this one.

Most of them are too big of losers for cis women to give them the time of day. Cis men like this figure trans guys have lower self esteem and lower expectations so we?ll just accept any type of disrespect just to say we have a partner. More of us need to prove this type of cis man wrong
Bit harsh but also true. They think non-binary people and bisexual women and people with certain aesthetics will just put up with anything in many cases and are 'easy.' Sometimes this extends to trans men too depending on presentation etc pre-transition. They are looking for people who seem mentally ill and traumatised. Will probably complain later when it blows up in their face too.

"Some boys think they're predators when they're really vultures." - Zheani.

I have an unproven theory that cis men like this are actively looking for people to "fix."

They find someone who they think belongs in, but doesn't fit, the feminine stereotype and think "me and my giant cock will [BEEP] the femininity back into her."

These guys will go for butch lesbians they never had a chance with while ignoring the cis women and gay fem boys that would have them.
Yeah it's definitely the case and you can find them talking about tomboys online and their fantasy that they'll magically turn feminine when they get married and other infantilising stuff. It's not really an unproven theory lol just a bunch of guys like this though many of them aren't dating people anyway. Not to mention the homophobic rape in many countries.

But if I started dating someone like that I would take it as an opportunity to force feminise them because it's a kink I have so in a way I'm kind of just winning in that situation. And I'm always going to be on top too lol. (Sexually speaking.)

"OK let's be lesbian girlfriends. We can do that."

    Uno reverse card.

"You thought you were going to be 'the man?' That's cute."

I feel like there's probably ways to filter out guys like this generally though anyway but probably not (or not as easily,) if you like masculine guys and also like to bottom.

Found this person first on twitter but with different music. Tried to find it on YT. Cathartic.

I like the contrast between the chill music and violent aggressive language. I dunno who they were actually talking to lol (or if this is even real) but it feels good anyway. Like the inside of my mind for the past 24 hours.

Feminine rage is easily s tier for samples like this. Like I get it's a joke but this genuinely goes hard.
Absolutely it's very Jack off Jill. I guess it's more like the outro in this case where she's just screaming:

I like how this song transitions into the first song on their next album too:

They're not emo though but I always thought they were more emo stylistically than some bands considered emo.

Also of course the original classic:

I love how many versions of this there are lol (also how the above video just cuts off at a random point.) There's even one with Christina Aguilera's voice. Well I don't know if that's AI or someone acting (obviously it's not actually her but I don't know because I don't know if I've heard her speaking before.)

It is fucking weird to see this Tumblr-esque [BEEP] posted to 4Chan. Even as a joke.
That's how it starts. In 5 years it will be normal. It's already too much effort put in with learning terms for people who claim to have issues. Plus it's 4chan and everything they larp about eventually becomes a social norm.

    Mwahahahaha.

Also this was probably on /tttt/ anyway or something.

I'm 90% sure this is a guy who just wants to see some trans boobs, but your point is pretty relevant. FTMs pass really well, since a lot of short guys look girly anyways. Once they start talking it's a different story. They are so intent on making everything lame and about emotion. They kill all the vibes. It's hard to describe unless you've spoken to one.
FtMs don't even try, they give themselves an androgynous name and cut their hair short. MtFs actually try to pass and sometimes they actually do. 90% of FtMs are attention seeking women who don't have any dysphoria.

The glaring difference between FtMs and MtFs is that men would never socially transition if they weren't 100% sure they were trans girls (excluding like the 30 year old+ guys that do it then just have a fetish). Women would absolutely larp as transgender, which they first did with bisexuality. Women want to be special and unique and they are almost always socially supported so ofc theyll do [BEEP] like that.

Also ik what you're talking about with the vibe thing, they'll try to make them larping as a man the focal point of any convo. You could say something with about like behaviors and instantly "Well as a MAN I think I should give my input too" it's cancerous
Doesn't matter we're gradually corrupting your website. Your days are numbered.

Femboys are a feminist conspiracy designed to emasculate men and gain domination and control over them.
    In your own words.

Think about it why transition and try to look really masc etc if you're all going to end up more feminine anyway?

    Cause of the conspiracy.

Lol I too can come up with evil gender dystopias (or utopia depending on pov,) on the fly. But also this is now simultaneously true and not true because the idea is out there.

My general ideology is it's at least kind of true if it sounds fun/hot. Bad news for you.

Feminism for my current purposes = afab groups that don't conform to their wishes and kill the vibes of course. I mean that's how half the internet uses that word anyway...

That's from another thread lol within this thread there's actually a comment about femboys:

Assigned by Nature, a doctor just says what You were actually born as, it's perfectly fine to be a transformer robots in disguise cuz some femboy porn is good But You have to accept that You were born as something else bro
Plus the bisexual thing (the same regurgitated talking points over and over and over again I've stumbled on literally word for word this comment with the same comparison between afab and amab trans people followed by some unnecessary comment about bisexual fucking women from several different people on several different subreddits in the last 24 hours alone I'm not fucking joking,) you keep banging on about is a cope really in these times. 22% of gen z women are bisexual now and many famous female musicians under 30 are in long term relationships with women. Other fun facts:

62% of single women in the U.S. are not open to casual dating or a committed relationship
They note that women, in particular, are considering politics more when deciding who to date, are less likely to date across the political aisle and are more cautious when approaching dating than they were in the past.
But that feeling was especially strong among women -- and Democrats. While more than half of men said they would date someone with different views, just 35 percent of women said the same thing. And only 40 percent of Democrats said they would date across party lines, compared to 48 percent of Republicans and 49 percent of independents.
    From a thread about tomboys:

I mean if women behaved more like men when it comes to emotions and such maybe we wouldn't have complications per say.
Western men are more disagreeable according to personality research so femboys are probably considered an improvement tbf:

Evidence supporting a paradox emerged as early as 2001 when Costa et al. (2001) concluded that men's and women's personalities differ more in gender-equal countries. Schmitt et al. (2008 ) replicated these findings across 55 nations, again suggesting a positive correlation between gender differences and gender equality. More recently, larger gender differences in agreeableness favoring women have been found in gender-equal nations (see Table 3), mainly because of lower agreeableness in men in these nations with gender being the strongest predictor of individual levels (Lippa, 2010b).
And you know what? I hope someone is doing it on purpose and I'm sure you do too. Because it's working so well. The real genius move would have been making it a gender war because you can't come back from that one you can come back from other stuff but not that. No one will compromise. But I'm sure it's not on purpose. Everyone just sucks. You guys especially. So the Anglosphere decided to commit collective suicide.

This is supposed to be emo right:

Funnily enough most of these comments were in response to some weird trans guy on 4chan requesting trans women send him pictures of their breasts so he can 'reassure them that they look OK because he's afab.' With a cute cat photo. A very weird 4chan like thing to do.

I dunno what this guy did lol but since I stumbled on that other person's video everyone seems to be talking about him:

And with the same fucking title lol and basically the same thumbnail font.

I mean I did watch a large chunk of that other person's video a while back before their personality put me off too much but I can't really remember the specific complaint. Haven't watched these videos yet. It seems his shtick is just being a chud I guess? But it's confusing because I assume that wasn't the original point since that other YouTuber was claiming a large part of his fanbase was female and his comments would have alienated them. None of the clips I'm seeing really make it seem like he's someone who would attract a female audience though it's like a fratbro kind of thing.

OK so so far it seems like he has a lot of opinions about cunts and clits (and female genitals in general.) People are really weird about cunts. I am using that word btw I prefer it when it comes to slang and [BEEP] sounds too clinical. He was self deprecating about it though like saying that he probably wasn't man enough but yeah seems to be some larger issue in society (though I mentioned this before in some other post a while back it's hard to say how prevalent certain ideas about genitals are without research really.)

It's probably important for people to open up about this because it seems like a lot of people have issues with female genitals so should probably get to the root of the problem culturally.

Actually he's a big fan of huge breasts so he might want to consider a pre-op trans woman I guess.

Yeah it seems like these guys are really into dick in the porn they watch and care about it more than vaginas. Interesting. I feel like I should have included this whole thing in my previous post when I was listing off reasons US women are going to stop dating 'men like this (tm)'

    So we have:

    politics
62% of single women aren't looking for a relationship either casual or serious right now in the US
increasing bisexuality in young women generationally + being more comfortable dating women
the impression that a lot of men prefer dicks on social media.

I'm shitposting a lot but I think there's something here actually lol.

What I'm seeing in the media + culturally (but it's happening at a very gradual pace,) is an increasing association between masculinity (well it's specific forms of masculinity really,) and male homosexuality. Probably because of the stereotype that gay men are more into masculinity than women. Than lesbians are like the ultimate symbol of gynephilia (and they're not scared of cunts) so more feminine guys are seen as being more gynephilic. Very interesting.

This is also newer I guess. I think it started happening around the 80s like before then the stereotype was very feminine men were gay and there were also androgynous guys in glam rock etc who were straight so that part's not new but then the 80s popularised the kind of masc gay image and since that time you've seen this separation and it overlaps with bisexual culture too obviously so you had the whole emo culture in the 2000s which was a part of this now you have femboys who have taken it further. I think a lot of people assume they're gay and some of them are but a lot of them are attracted to women as well.

You have like F1nnister who attracts a mostly male audience but he's never going to [BEEP] them lol to be blunt.

    No, Rose is a lesbian.
    Isn't rose a fucking guy!?
It's a joke since though he is a straight guy he has said that he has mostly dated lesbians.
I dunno it's kind of funny.

    Wait really?

Is bro just such an anti rizzler he’s turning girls gay or something?
No it's not that he was a awful date. He specified they were Lesbians even before dating him it's just given his specific circumstances as being GNC, Lesbians are just a bit more interested in dating him than straight women.
I thought that was obvious lol... Most of his female fans I come across identify as lesbians but I think it's pretty bisexual personally.

After all that he included a comedy clip where he jokes about the friendzone and how when guys point out that guy's are just pretending to be friends to get laid women call them crazy. 'Why would a guy go through all this trouble just to get laid?' This is kind of ironic though after all the clips of those guys including him talking about how they're not that into cunts haha.

I've been friends with a guy for 10+ years who I was initially in a relationship with for several months so I guess that solved that issue. It was an asexual relationship tbf though and it's not really the same when you're weird and queer.

Then there's a bit where they're talking about the podcasts he did where it gets described as locker room talk. Male locker rooms have a low key gay vibe to me aesthetically. But this just intensified that even more. Everything is just sounding so gay.

"If 3 dudes are having a conversation for an hour it's inevitable that we're gonna say something like yo tits are low key dumb."

    Really tits are dumb?

    Straightest thing I've ever heard.

    Locker room talk in 2023:

Listen I drink my respect women juice but the GTA 6 trailer reminds me I am not immune to the male gaze
    tits are low key dumb
Also yeah his standup isn't funny. I noticed that before. And I'm not saying this because everyone thinks he's offensive it's genuinely not funny to me. I don't think he's a great comedian and his punchlines aren't very good, and now I think the whole offensive thing is basically his way of selling himself and hiding the fact that he's bad because people will be like 'oh cool people find this offensive I will support it' and I said before this was going to start happening which sucks. People have forgotten that stand up comedians aren't just people who stand on a stage and say something offensive while pretending to be funny. There is a bit more skill involved then that...

At best this guy is an interesting psychological experiment and insight into at least some subset of younger men, since he seems to say whatever he's thinking, but yeah not a good comedian. I said younger thinking he was probably like 21 but he's actually 28 lol... I mean there are a lot of older American guys like this though. Naturally I don't vibe with it because I'm from the UK and I don't think women do in general.

Actually you know this Matt Rife thing is really another example of the huge cultural issue with marketing now essentially. Like a lot of the problems that are happening like this are being caused by people being suggested something online that is either purposefully designed to piss them off or they're suggested something that appeals to them with no thought to wider context eg: whatever he did that went viral that appealed to women and then none of the rest of his content/material etc appeals to women and just annoys them.

It seems to go both ways where women are annoyed by the things he's saying and he resents that his audience ended up mostly female when he wasn't trying to target them and wanted a more male audience. He keeps repeating that in clips in these videos lol and he seems almost insecure about his female audience. 'No I'm a guys guy honestly. Noooo the coooties nooooo.' OK lol.

This seems ironic now (adding to the he's gay subtext):

Of course that was never the only point of comedy.

I actually typed this out before getting to the part of Funkyfrogbaits video where she mentions this lol but yeah. But yeah I figured that before he's trying to manipulate conservatives into watching his comedy. I don't know if they have very different taste in comedy (maybe,) or if they just laugh at anything offensive even if it's bad and barely comedy but this isn't the first time someone's pulled this off with them they're a very easy crowd. Like this:

She just got on stage and started ranting lol? I guess there's kind of a joke right at the end but it's the same joke every right winger on social media has been using for years so it's really old now.

Come on Americans you can do at least a little bit better than this...

Also yeah there's a segment of the right - and I do say a segment cause a lot of them really hate this as well lol - that really loves that masc gay aesthetic that's why Bronze Age Pervert was so successful.

I do agree with funkyfrogbait. You shouldn't really stereotype people but the cover kind of matches the book here imo. He kind of looks like a dick.

Also speaking of being gay people keep hyping him up as some attractive guy but it feels like they're doing too much. I mean I get that he's attractive in some conventional sense I guess but he does absolutely nothing for me and the experience of almost everyone pointing out how he's attractive even people who are criticising him sometimes is bizarre and surreal to me lol. They don't do this often with guys in general.

This guy is just a teenage boy though trapped in a 28 year olds body. There's more horrifying things out there anyway like sociopathic PUA's and evo-psych discussions about war rape.

I'm so glad we have the internet so the intellectual caste can actually learn and discuss while the immature people who can't handle conversations about the horror of reality co-opt the universities into "safe spaces".
"horror of reality" not be too misogynistic but come on there are many things one can do that are way worse than rape
We both know who are the ''immature people'' when it comes to grape. I won't say who they are, but I'll say they constitute about half of the global population.
    Yeah let's downplay rape.

I think war rape is worse symbolically too since it kind of represents the absolute worst of masculinity you have the sexual violence and the violence violence and war with is extreme violence. Also demonising men is popular lol so I don't think they would argue that you can't talk about that. Now if you wanted to say something nice about men that's a different story.

To be honest most of the adult content online doesn't seem to be "vanilla love-making". As in Love or affection expressed sexually. Most seems violent or perverse, nasty and cynical to one degree or the other.

    Horrible modern world.
I listen to porn about soldiers being forced feminised by women lol (among other things,) which I think is pretty based really. Though it's coincidental that that turns me on. Convenient really.

Anyway you can't exist with the internet and not become cynical to some degree. It's almost impossible.

Damn it, I have physical therapy tomorrow. I hate being around people. I'm doing the exercises at home anyway.

Was reading the wikipedia page for femboy:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Femboy

The alt-right have viewed femboys as a result of the LGBT chemicals conspiracy theory alongside "the existence of gender-morphing frogs". Figures such as Guillaume Faye have cited the "effeminisation" of society as an example of European societal decay.[16]
Oh lol. I thought that name sounded familiar. I pirated one of his books years ago 'Sex and Deviance.'

The bisexual man, in the imagination of the contemporary west, is one element in the devirilisation and feminisation of men.
This was around the time I discovered that reading right wing writing was fun actually because of Their Biggest Fear (tm.) Actually I probably discovered that a while before, and this book wasn't really satisfying enough for my sadistic urges, but still.

A woman, atavistically, cannot respect a man who does not resist her, does not stand up to her, does not dominate her, who shows himself weak, undecided, a coward. The women who scream denunciations of machismo are the first (despite all their ideas, which are only words and do not translate into behaviour) to need a man of authority and who need, albeit subtly, to be dominated. A man who does not know how or is unwilling to dominate finds himself cruelly dominated, for he has stepped out of his natural, ancestral role.
Women are, in general, rather fragile in the face of an assiduous effort at seduction, even if at the beginning they reject the man who insists upon courting them. The reasons for this are probably genetic. In spite of all egalitarian and feminist discourse, many apparently domineering and determined women end up submitting to insistent, domineering men. I have seen striking cases in which fine women have ended up giving way, by a sort of atavism, to the incessant courtship of mediocre men unworthy of them. This can be explained by two traits of feminine character: maternal pity ('poor fellow, he has wanted me for so long; I don't want to make him unhappy') and submissiveness to men ('I have to obey; I don't want to make an enemy', or 'He has influence; that can always be useful to me'). Many women are unable to resist a man's insistent harassment. The man who doesn't give up, even if he is ugly and stupid, has got a chance. He is counting on the fact that, statistically speaking, women generally end up giving in.
I don't know this doesn't sound like any of the erotica I've written over the years, or fantasies I've come up with in my head. F̶i̶r̶s̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶p̶l̶a̶n̶t̶ ̶p̶e̶o̶p̶l̶e̶?̶ It only sounds like many annoying guys I rejected. In some cases repeatedly.

It also doesn't like they really desire him. So that's a shame.

'I'm unassertive and scared, so I guess I'll give into this ugly brute I have no attraction to.'

But in reality, women are in no way responsible for the emasculation of men.
The female part of me would like to think I am a little. Even if just part of a larger force. Otherwise what's the point of being part female? It's like in gay feminisation 'media' there almost always has to be a woman involved somewhere...

The feel of her chainmail armour against the thin fabric of his tunic thrilled him and he ran his hands along her shoulders. Lost in the chaotic ocean currents of his emotions he finally dragged his thoughts back to the surface. He knew they couldn't stay as they were.

    [...]

Satisfied that nobody would be able to spot them from outside she lifted him up and he wound his legs around her waist as she pushed him against the wall, kissing his lips and neck. He felt like he was on fire.
She walked past the room noticing that the door was ajar and instantly spotting them together once again. She knew she was intruding and should leave but she found it difficult to tear her eyes away. And there was that painful feeling again as she watched.
    "You were watching us earlier."

"It wasn't my intent, I was walking down the hall and the door was open I just-"

"No it's fine. I enjoyed it and my master didn't notice."

"Well I uh- I came in here to find a certain book actually for Rosemund and I shouldn't keep her waiting."

As she wandered off to attempt to find the book Rosemund requested he followed her around the shelves.

She attempted to ignore him but she found the edge of her gaze wandering to him repeatedly as she browsed the shelves. Against her better judgment.

His long brown hair looked incredibly soft and he was wearing a flowing white kimono embroidered with white leaves. It was open, exposing his chest. He had such delicate features it made something in her heart ache a little.

The sunlight was making his hair glow and he seemed almost angelic standing there. If not for his mischievous eyes.

    "I was watching you too."

"I noticed," She murmured distractedly. Paging through a book. Perhaps this was the one Rosemund had described?

"When I looked at you I imagined it was your cock that was fucking me."

She slammed shut the book she had open, placing it back on the shelf, and then picking up another.

"Well you'd be rather disappointed in that regard."

"Oh but I know. I suspected you would not be so endowed."

Why was this conversation happening? She'd stopped reading the book she was holding. Far too distracted to focus on the words on the page.
I agree why was this conversation happening? Very cringe. And now I appear to be posting it here. Well they started it.

This one's less about feminisation and more about me competing with other men. I mean the androgynous guy is already complete that way.

She entered the throne room [love interest character name]was draped over him as he sat. She suppressed the sharp feeling as she couldn't help but watch him ride [lords name] wearing nothing but a glittery translucent green jacket.

As she got nearer she could [...] As much as it pained her she couldn't deny how gorgeous he looked in this state and part of her wished she could see the pleasure written on his face.
    Yes I know.

"I [redacted] as I pictured you a powerful sorceress possessing some poor man's body as your own." She wanted to stop him but his words had captivated her entirely and so he continued on. "you stormed into the room and dragged me off of him." He was very close to her now. "You pushed me against the wall. [redacted] and forcing him to watch."

Then he leaned in incredibly close so he was almost whispering in her ear. "But I needed it to be you so I imagined as you came your own form returning but his dick was now your own. I imagined you impregnating me [...] Branding me as your own."
Oh this is excruciatingly cringe. This was the first thing I wrote in a really long while and it was inspired by discovering Rush and young Geddy Lee. I'm sure he'd be thrilled.

Also kind of my response to Rachilde because Monsieur Venus was very doomer and too much necrophilia for my taste. It's because she focussed more on the feminisation of the male character.

I'm also trying to be vague and remove the more explicit parts in quotes while keeping the meaning of some parts clear and that's kind of hard to do lol.

Why am I doing this? He can never read this post he died in 2019 apparently and I've posted it here. Well it gives the illusion of communication and maybe he's reading it in the afterlife. Manifesting. ✨

The Innocence of Lesbians: Female Homosexuality
A bunch of this book was essentially demonising gay men, while portraying lesbians as being innocent relatively speaking (but of course not ideal.)

A lesbian couple will probably be more stable than a male homosexual couple, though still not all that stable.
Be it on the street or in a drawing room, one can immediately recognise the mannerisms of a homosexual couple. A lesbian couple, on the other hand, is much less easily recognisable. Homosexuals feminise their behaviour; lesbians, however, do not masculinise theirs.
The female homosexual lobby has never been able to exert the same influence as the male counterpart, simply because female homosexuality appears decorative, superficial, and without social or ideological significance. Male homosexuality has stoked controversy, but female homosexuality does not, because it has no real emotional or social impact. Not even the real 'butches' who refuse all relations with men (and who count for the minority of lesbians) have not succeeded in 'shocking the bourgeois.'
The female homosexual is much less visible than the male, and does not disturb the social order.
You're right - that's where I come in and Rachilde of course - another person notably not a lesbian (she had to remind people of that fact repeatedly lol):

In 1884 she published her first successful novel, Monsieur Venus. It was so scandalous that she was tried for pornography and convicted in absentia in Belgium, where the initial editions had been published. She was sentenced to two years of prison, essentially ensuring that she remain in France after that.[7][3]
But you didn't know about that did you? There's a lot of us around now.

The emergent movement of reverse Sue (Nisu) in China refers to the practice of (especially female) fans imagining themselves as having a strong male role to their idols' weak female role. In this process, female fans take on a powerful, active role to protect and look after their male idols in female form. Examining how Nisu fans interact with other types of fans and negotiate a mainstream gender discourse dominated by traditional heterosexual norms reveals how, as a burgeoning subcultural group, female Nisu fans express their subversive potential by seeking the power of an imaginary phallus to defy male hegemony. However, their internal divergence and self-contradiction might weaken this defiance.
[1.4] Nisu activities echo McRobbie's (2009) model of the phallic girl, proposed in the postfeminist theoretical framework and based on Butler's (1990) [BEEP] theory of the phallic lesbian as a political figure who competes for power with the patriarchal authority by mimicking men or becoming a phallus bearer. The phallic girl notion seemingly avoids rearranging the gender hierarchy, displaying the pretense of gender equality insofar as women are approved to behave in a manly and aggressive manner. Adopting the phallus enables women to have power while reducing the critique against masculine hegemony. McRobbie (2009) argues that youthful female phallicism is an alternative masquerade strategy that allows young women to be empowered but with the strict condition of becoming masculine, thus ensuring gender restabilization. This pretense of equality is presented and promoted in consumer culture as a challenge to feminism and a triumph for the revivification of the patriarchy. In this sense, we detect that Nisu fans have the potential to form a counterculture by defying the traditional heterosexual norm, at least in the fandom context.
[4.6] As a form of female sexual fantasy that takes an antitraditional heterosexual mode, Nisu activities are restricted to a marginalized subcultural group and struggle with strong opposition. According to our interviews with anti-Nisu fans, where some express the rather misogynistic opinion that imagining their male idol as a girl is belittling him (interviewees L and J), others hold the completely opposite stance, claiming that it is inappropriate to use complimentary adjectives usually used to describe women's virtue to represent male stars because this action supports male hegemony. Interviewee C stated on November 29, 2021, "I hate men. Men do not deserve [the praise]. Those complimentary adjectives should describe particular virtues belonging to women only. Nisu fans endow their idols with many virtues. [Fans see the idols through their filters]. When the filters are deleted, their idols are just very normal male university students or labor workers in entertainment industries." Although C expressed her hatred of men here, this hatred seemingly did not stop her from adoring male stars. Thus, although Nisu and anti-Nisu fans showed opposite attitudes toward Nisu activities, neither of them was entirely against male hegemony, as anti-Nisu fans still tended to worship male celebrities in their own ways, albeit not in a Nisu manner.
[4.8] However, conflicts between the Nisu and anti-Nisu sides do not solely focus on competition over territory in a celebrity's fan club; they also involve the perception of gender norms. A typical case is the "227 incident" of February 27, 2020. This incident occurred in the fandom of the popular Chinese BL-adapted drama The Untamed (Chen Qing Ling; Tencent TV, 2019). In February 2020, fans of the main character, Xiao Zhan, organized a collective action on social media to report the fan fiction of a fan who wrote homosexual fantasy between two male stars. The novel, titled Xiazhui (Falling), concerns a homoerotic story between Xiao (as a transgender prostitute) and another actor, Wang (as an underage high school student). This act of collective reporting led the Chinese government to block the international fan platform Archive of Our Own (www.archiveofourown.org, abbreviated AO3) on February 29. This conflict denied thousands of Chinese fans access to AO3 to read, distribute, and create fan works, which further exacerbated mainstream society's negative attitude toward fan culture and directly led to a series of cultural policies to regulate fan culture (Wang and Ge 2022).

This case can be explained by Simons and Taylor's (1992) psychosocial model of fan violence in sports, which states that when a unitive identity is formed and internal solidarity is enhanced in a fan community, conditions make extreme actions possible. Although the 227 incident was not violent, it can be seen as a hostile attack by anti-Nisu fans against the Nisu community, taking advantage of state power to profoundly affect the whole community of fan fiction creation. It demonstrates the predicament of nonmainstream fan groups, exemplified by Nisu fans, who are repeatedly rejected and even suppressed by mainstream culture (Larsen and Zubernis 2012). Moreover, in 2021, the mainland Chinese authorities launched a cleanup web campaign; feminized male stars, criticized as a form of vulgar culture and deformed aesthetics inappropriate for teenagers, were particularly targeted (see Guangming Daily, August 26, 2021, https://weibo.com/ttarticle/p/show?i...74470253035809). Against this backdrop, many celebrity studios and fan clubs declared a ban on public Nisu activities, which further implies repulsion of antitraditional sexual norms and compliance with traditional male-dominated gender norms in the broader gender discourse of mainland China.
[5.1] Although Nisu fans attempt to challenge the normative heterosexual mode, they are fully aware of their own marginality, sometimes lack confidence about their fanaticism, and present a self-contradicting mentality. This is analogous to the creation of real-person texts (texts based not on fictional characters but on real people, both public and nonpublic figures) in the BL fan community, where real-person texts are rejected and excluded from the BL fan community because of moral issues, such as respect and politeness, regardless of the self-claimed counterpublic nature of BL fandom itself (Chiang 2016). In a similar sense, Nisu fantasy is likely to trigger moral panic, and there are concerns that the explicit sexual depiction of the male objects might disturb the real people, even though the fictional plots are only fans' imaginations. Thus, Nisu fans utilize the strategies of self-censorship and keep distance from the real stars in two ways: first, by limiting the sexual depiction in their texts to show respect and also to protect themselves; and second, by calling their idols alternative names and using codes when commenting or talking about erotic topics.
Yes I have conflicting feelings about it myself if they're a real person. Not if they're a fictional character though (even if played by a real person in a live action film/TV show.)

[5.5] Nisu fans' self-censorship intensified after the launch of the cleanup web campaign in 2021, especially when Nisu fans' male objects and their studios aligned with the authority, propelling Nisu fans' self-contradiction. According to Xu and Yang (2021), this involves the state's subtle technique of co-opting stars as a cultural management strategy to incorporate entertainment celebrities into the government's ideological and publicity work, win popular consent, and reinforce the state's cultural hegemony and leadership. Beyond managing celebrities, this strategy is also effective in controlling fans, because the co-opted stars must support the cleanup campaign and request that their fans comply with the regulations; otherwise, fans would be punished (by blocking accounts and so on). In this way, for the purpose of protecting both their idols and themselves, fans must keep a low profile under the dual pressure of the authoritative level and the stars' fan management teams, even though most fans might be unhappy and/or assert the importance of free speech, which results in self-contradiction in the fandom community.
For example, Zhengting Zhu and some other celebrities in Yuehua Entertainment signed an Action Proposal supporting the cleanup campaign on August 27, 2021. Some male stars' fan clubs, including those of Zhennan Zhou and Runqi Li, published statements to ban Nisu activities and stop fans from using womanly vocabulary to call their idols wives, princesses, and daughters (Souhu, August 27, 2021, https://www.sohu.com/a/485986830_267454; Weibo, September 24, 2021, https://m.weibo.cn/status/4681367159...rcetype=weixin). In this sense, some fans, including interviewee H, believe that Nisu is a small subcultural group that imposes members' fantasies onto idols without caring about the celebrities' own thoughts. Out of respect for celebrities, many Nisu fans would not even openly advocate for their own community on a large scale, which implies a sense of self-shame. Conversely, some other fans, including interviewee F, think that presenting the Nisu fantasy directly to idols is not an offense because they earn sky-high incomes, and a few words of fantasy should mean nothing to them. Regardless, peer surveillance remains a risk for these Nisu fans.
[5.6] All in all, despite Nisu fans' resistant potential, as a result of their status of being a minority group, they are more likely to be abandoned or boycotted by mainstream fandom members to ensure the community's survival. Some Nisu fans have joined the campaign of banning Nisu activities in order to pander to mainstream fandom and secure their fan identity in the community, which further embodies their self-contradiction. For instance, interviewee H, a Nisu fan herself, believes that Nisu activities should be limited to a small group and will do something to prevent the expansion of the Nisu subculture. In summary, Nisu fans' self-censorship is an attribute of both bottom-up peer surveillance (by both anti-Nisu fans and other types of fans) and a top-down co-opting strategy, while their self-contradiction in defying traditional heterosexual norms and being apprehensive of their own heterodoxy implies both resistance and compliance.
I think we should form a global network somehow.

*pokes the social order some more*

('phallus bearer' is hilarious though wtf.)

There's a lot of race stuff in this book as well of course but I don't care to go into that at the moment.

In his book The First Sex (2006) which created somewhat of a scandal, Eric Zemmour
Its title is a reference to the book The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir.
That's funny because while googling this book I found a 1971 feminist book called The First Sex by Elizabeth Gould Davis.

Yeah, straight women, FAMOUSLY not attracted to men.
Well you say that but they are less attracted to men than bisexual women according to research ironically.

Actually I broadly agree with his point even though everyone is disagreeing. There are a lot of straight women who claim not to be physically attracted to men but instead develop attraction to them based on other traits instead and then become attracted to their physical appearance afterwards. Though in that case it's incorrect to say there's no way for a guy to sexualise himself just that it would have to be in other ways besides appearance. Also tbf I think the women who say those things aren't really speaking about sexual desire much and mostly romantic attraction which is slightly different and I also imagine they have sex with their partners based mostly for romantic/bonding related reasons rather than thinking he's really hot and they really need to often too. Women don't just form relationships based on sexual attraction so that probably happens a lot.

It is really incorrect though to say that it's impossible for guys to be sexualised if you consider fanfiction. Just look at this shit:

The absolute state of Tumblr. (I say that in a positive way.)

I guess they're not all entirely human. And the 1 body type (more on that later.)

Also guys put less effort into their appearance than women do in general so that factors in too.

But I think women also often have certain kinds of men they're physically attracted to and find hot, especially if they have a stronger than average sex drive or are bisexual (because in research bisexual women are shown to be more aroused by men than straight women.) But yeah in that case it will often be a much narrower range of guys.

I'm also very picky and I know for myself there are guys I've been attracted to based purely on appearance. Well a guy if we're not talking about famous people and also if limiting it just to appearance (it was just based on his photos.) But really with most guys I've been attracted to they still fit a certain range of criteria where they're pretty slim, mostly longish-long hair etc. The long hair thing became increasingly important over time. But I can't find most guys in porn watchable unless they're my type and I don't bother to seek it out. Whereas women are more often going to be arousing visually. I find more guys voices hot so I listen to them while looking at images of guys I find hot. It's difficult yeah you have to kind of sitch a guy together. On that note recording audio porn is probably a better way to sexualise yourself in general.

If you can get a body type that's slim and then work out a bit so you have a kind of athletic build you can probably make yourself physically attractive to most women. I think that's the most popular build. Like Brad Pitt in Fight Club was popular in one study I saw. Personally I like slim guys though.

I don't think it's a coincidence that most famous guys who are super popular with women are in the skinny - slim + athletic range of body types. But there are also bigger guys that get slightly less attention + attention from older women. There are 2-3 body types. And I doubt the several different people who were Jesus looked anything like any of the artistic depictions of him but for some reason they decided to make him into a twink and that beauty ideal has never seemed to change in thousands of years.. Like was it necessary for most famous musicians women like to all look like this?

^ He was popular in the 2000s. I wasn't super into him though but I liked his body. I wouldn't say he's perfect looking either so then no it's not that they have to look perfect exactly.

I mean it depends on criteria too incels think gigachad looks perfect. Who's definition of perfect are we going with in the first place?

I picked this example because I feel like this album cover is specifically taken in a sexualised way:

I also think he was a lot more popular than he would have been otherwise because of the work of photographers etc.

And porn really doesn't even try for some reason they don't want money from women and it wouldn't be impossible I assume just do what audio porn does and get better looking male porn stars and change all the film angles so just look at music videos + romance films + the porn genres more popular with women like lesbian porn and make them more pornographic... Seems simple... So far there's only stuff like 50 shades of grey which I haven't watched (any of those films,) but I think it still falls short of actually being porn. I don't think anyone's using it to get off basically. Definitely not when they saw it at the cinema lol.

Oh and there's obviously like loads of fanart porn, yaoi/certain manga genres, Sims porn but obviously some of that must be consumed by guys so I wouldn't just google that and assume it's something women like but women make their own stuff in the game as well using mods.

Kind of contradicts his absolutist point.

But yeah there's way more diversity in how men look then what women find physically attractive I think.

Obviously most would argue that well if someone is famous and a musician and singing all of these things are attractive yeah but why do so many musicians who become popular with women have the same few looks?

Lol. She also kind of has this look somehow.

But I also think women often also have their own individualised type which is based on stuff they were exposed to at certain ages or other factors like some women are really into dad bods. It just gets less popular appeal.

Also I wouldn't describe it as sitting back and 'letting men do all the work' that implies there was some kind of choice or control over sexuality. Imagine being married to or in some form of relationship with someone you're not even attracted to because of tradition, or coercion or because you want kids? Doesn't sound fun and it sounds like that was the reality for lots of women in the past...

Also I wouldn't say it's just 'any desire whatsoever' since most of those guys he lists are or were considered very attractive to the point of causing mass traffic accidents and people breaking into people's homes and smearing period blood on the wall, placing secret cameras in teddy bears. I've never heard such insane stories as about kpop fans actually (not just female fans either like men have attempted to kidnap idols etc,) just the number of stories as well. You expect there to be a few but it's intense. And they have networks I think and coordinate stalking activities etc. The birth rate in South Korea is the lowest in the world, and the kpop fangirls there are really insane (even moreso than in other regions,) I feel like there's a correlation maybe. Of course it's a very stressful country with high rates of depression too.

Also a huge thing is simply hormones. Like I think a lot of trans guys on testosterone are more motivated to have sex after going on testosterone. Probably find more people attractive as well. I think some cis guy was complaining about their partner who was a trans guy wanting sex 5 times a day. Because I guess there's an adjustment period sometimes too. I may have imagined this but I think this was a thread on reddit at one point years ago.....

For real. One look at any Tumblr Fandom disproves this theory. Lots of women going absolutely rabid and writing delightfully horny fanfic.
Something tells me he wouldn't like the way men are often sexualized in these fandoms. Thousands of women making art of their blorbos looking submissive and breedable...
No exactly. And I always say this lol.. A lot of women also suppress their sexuality because it will make men uncomfortable.

    Or met a gay man.
Tbf he's mostly talking about women but it does skew into 'men are objectively hideous and no one could ever sexualise them period' territory a bit.

Natural selection causes the females of almost every species to be selective with males, but for some reason only human women get [BEEP] for it.
It could be a lot worse too. They could get cannibalised after sex. But Humans mostly just keep that to fiction.

I was trying to find that thread on the original subreddit and found another one

If you haven't dated women who grew up with social media as an average man, you don't understand the situation average young men are in

Dating women who grew up with social media vs dating women who grew up without social media is a night and day difference. It's completely incomparable. It's apples vs tomahawk missiles.

Hence any type of "well I / those guys found a girlfriend, therefore so can you" argument simply doesn't count if the girlfriend(s) in question grew up without a significant amount of social media use.
So yes, people are theoretically right that men can find someone by improving + lowering their standard. But guys are pissed that if they improve until they're a 7.5 / 10, they can only easily get a 2.2 / 10 woman, and maybe a 4/10 woman if they date a lot. Men think it's unfair that they have to date down by 3 - 4 point just to find someone. And they're right.
You could try medically transitioning if you think you'd look good as a woman. Otherwise it seems out of your control.

I mean a lot of you are mentally ill and have given up on life (of course so have many women but not quite as many I think,) it shows in body language for younger guys in particular big time imo, some of you invented a point system for scoring women and a bunch of other machiavellian psychopath stuff which turns most women off big time. So that's not been helping.

Feeling attractive is probably a big part of female sexuality so everytime you say something like this women get the impression that all men only want to date 10/10 women - that's not what you're saying exactly but that's 100% what they hear and women usually have low self esteem despite what the internet may lead you to believe (and this is especially true for young women,) and they're already competing with instagram models so their sexuality is essentially in hibernation mode from the combination of not leaving the house, competing with instagram models, psychopathic PUA stuff etc.

The study found women are particularly inclined to be turned on when they feel they're being viewed as attractive and desirable by another person--and this actually emerged as being the most significant factor of the three in determining female desire.
Of course if you're really attractive you don't have to worry about this so much but you're posting this so you're not and you do.

Also lol 'date down by 3-4 points' like it's some kind of exact science. :') This is not a measurement of anything you pulled these numbers out of your ass.

Here you start to do the 'why my problem is actually yours' thing. It feels a bit... Because you don't care.

And women's pickiness isn't good for women either. Because if 78% of women compete for the top 20% of men, then most women are going to end up single and childless. And I know that current 20-something and 30-something women often think that being single and childless is fine, and it's true that being a single childless 20-something or 30-something woman is a pretty good life. However there are very few single childless 50-something women out there who are happy. I think that two decades from now, we'll have an endless sea of miserable single childless 50-something women who are that way because they rejected the 7/10 guys and they couldn't get the 8/10 guys to commit to them.

Women at this point might argue "but I am trying to find an average guy and even that's not easy." However, women say 80% of men are "below average": So what in some women's mind is her looking for an average guy, is in reality her trying to find a top-20% guy. Now some people would argue here: "but if women think 80% of men are below average, then 80% of men are 5/10 or below." Even if that's how you want to build the scale, the fact remains that the vast majority of women are going after a small group of top guys. Which means that mathematically speaking most women are aiming for a man that she's likely to not get. Because those top men have infinite options, so why would they commit to her specifically?
Women also don't seem to understand that men rate women on two criteria: "how good is she for casual sex" and "how good is she for marrying."

Most young women score high on "how good is she for casual sex", because she's young and hot, and thus average young women can easily have casual sex with a bunch of 8/10 and 9/10 guys. And then that young woman tries to later settle down with an 8/10 guy. But those guys will only bang her, not commit to her. Her "good for banging" score may have been very high, but that doesn't mean that her "how good is she for
    marriage" score is high.

Thus the once-beautiful-young-woman fails to ultimately get commitment from the 8/10 guys she used to bang all the time. She eventually may become a bitter cat lady.
OK so you prefer your revenge fantasy to having a relationship. That's fine. A lot of women do too should have just titled the post with something like that instead of whining about how you're alone when you transparently resent women.

This is also why some women complain that men only want sex, or that she's a single mom and that every man her age only wants to use her for sex but doesn't want to start a relationship with her. That's because her "how good is she for banging" score is probably still okay, and most men aren't picky when it comes to casual sex. However because she's a single mom, her "how good is she for marriage" score is low by definition, and therefore she's likely trying to get commitment from someone way outside her league.
Very ideological. I feel like this was written by an AI.

A single mom who goes "I'm pretty and I'm X and Y, I should be able to find a good man" doesn't understand that her prettiness only gives her a high "good for banging" score. However because she's a single mom her "good for marriage" score is low by definition. Hence she'll only be able to get commitment from guys much less attractive than the guys she's able to bang. If she tries to get commitment from the kind of guys she's able to bang, those guys will just use her for sex and then don't give commitment.
Single mum's make up a very tiny percentage of the population the reality is that most women choose not to have kids if they can't find a committed relationship that's why the birth rate is collapsing in a lot of countries lol that and all the other reasons people don't want kids. I think a lot of you can become even less attractive if you try though so by all means keep going.

I'm not saying this because I want women to be single or miserable. I'd love a world where most people are in a happy relationship. I'm writing this because I think average-ish women would on average have better lives if they settled for a guy in her league and didn't insist on chasing the top-20% guys like almost every woman does. If the 8 / 10's will sleep with you but not commit to you, then, maybe try to date a 7 / 10.
Lol nah you do. It's very clear.

I'm not saying women should settle for neckbeards who never shower. We're just saying that average women should probably accept average-ish men as partners. This isn't some monstrous suggestion either: the average young woman today wouldn't date her (grand)father as he was when her (grand)mother started dating him. If her mother and grandmother were fine with non-top-tier men, why can't modern women be? The answer is: because they grew up with social media.
I just don't think they care about having kids that much anymore and they're not pressured into getting married as much it's still happening (in this thread technically in fact lol,) but they're more resistant. It's not really the social norm now.

Although social media does contribute too but not in the way you think. It's because it's full of cynical psychopaths. I think a lot of women assume all men are predators too.

So speaking of statistics in the US a majority of single women aren't looking anyway:

First, let's do some fact-checking. How many women have given up on dating? A 2020 Pew survey finds that 61% of single men are looking for a relationship or dates vs 38% of single women. The gender gap is even wider for older singles. One 2022 Pew survey says "a majority of single Americans overall are off the dating market -- 56% say they are not currently looking for a relationship or casual dates, up slightly from 50% in 2019."
You also find that the majority of people on a lot of dating apps are men. Sometimes with insanely skewed rations like 70% male:

Evidence suggests that men use dating apps more prolifically than women -- both in the number of users and in the frequency of use. One estimate found that over 70% of active American Tinder users were male, and the ratio of male-to-female users among our data was similar.
Pretty soon you're probably going to actually have to start climbing towers or something lol.

Shakespeare warned you lol. Sorry did I say Shakespeare I meant Spyro:

    This was a bit tedious.

I think more men have given up overall because a lot of women are just dating the same men. but the majority of women who aren't aren't even trying anymore. If you're really struggling I'd suggest joining a cult.

Yes, and it's so mathematical. All the rating of women and the word "value" is typical of incel-speak.

And they almost always include a sentence like, "I know I'm a 3/10, but I'm only attracted to women who are 8/10 and above. I'm entitled to have standards." Yeah, it's OK for the man to have standards, but if a woman has the exact SAME standard, then she's a _____?

How does OP want to try to solve this problem? He'll probably become a Republican and try to eliminate abortion and birth control to make these women pay for having sex with other men who aren't him.
I don't think most women are turned on by maths they should try writing poetry I think.

Yeah, the reference to cat ladies and the presumption that he knows that women who are happy to be single and childless are going to be miserable later is quite the self own.

Thank god for being bisexual. If my current healthy relationship doesn't work out, I can stick to women.

This whole quality is related to your hotness number as if it's an absolute value and as if all men are that shallow makes me very glad to not be in the dating scene right now.
Imagine this guy hitting on you with this speech tho. Even a 2 is gonna run.
You?d get rejected by a prostitute with that speech, lol.
It's a possibility if they're not desperate for money yeah because it seems a little emotionally unstable and they might not want to die. Have to take precautions in that line of work.

Have you tried being attractive and not coercing and threatening and blackmailing women into sleeping with you? I know most of you supposedly didn't evolve for that (according to people who are anti-feminist actually - the only people who hate men more than misandric radical feminists are a subset of peculiar right wing/manosphere men,) hell if you ask some right wing evo-psych guys they'll say most of you evolved to join a gang and rape women to reproduce. Which sounds super fun. Almost as much fun as war.

If there is no universal reference point for up or down, where are we exactly? Nowhere?

The last 4-5 months for me have been unproductive and terrible with minimal exceptions.

HAPPY 21/12 DAY!!! IF YOU DON'T REBLOG THIS WE WILL ASSUME CONTROL OF YOUR BANK ACCOUNT
I'm surprised I actually noticed this one on the day lol. That's pretty cool too. That's one of my favourite Rush songs that I've heard:

    It's also an album.

Someone posted the staircase song lyrics.

"…I guess it was a dream, but even now it all seems so vivid to me. Clearly yet I see the beckoning hand of the oracle as he stood at the summit of the staircase…"

I stand atop a spiral stair
    An oracle confronts me there
He leads me on, light years away
    Through astral nights, galactic days

I find spiral staircases kind of weird. I just have this association with them and freewriting now mostly because of my own freewriting (I think I noted this before in a post a month ago or something lol,) but also Death Grips song lyrics where it's really blatant they're doing that:

Goin' back to Tangier with some Jordans and a spear
    Post-Christian shit, post-chicken-or-the-egg-addiction shit
    Pass the sherm stick, Neo-reality
Be the freak you wanna see, just don't follow me
I'm on a journey to the center of three
Grab your fucking chain and drag you through the bike lane
    While everybody's like (Nooooo!)
I got this pregnant snake; stay surrounded by long hairs
A plethora of maniacs and spiral stairs
Make your water break in the Apple Store
Sink or swim, who fucking cares, cut the birth cords
    Press send, yeah, thick
Gaga can't handle this shit, headed for the Sammy Davis wing
Throw up a black hole at the entrance of Linens-n-Things
On the way, never call it a day
Visit Tesla's grave for the ninth time today
Still on the way, bigger wigs

They have some really great lyrics.

This post is now about staircases again.

Actually I was watching this video yesterday:

I like some hip hop but not really now because it's just... Everywhere. Very clearly defanged (mostly.) And that's annoying. I also liked Eminem and still like some of his music. He was huge when I was a kid in like 2000 I feel like that year especially when The Real Slim Shady and Stan came out. The Marshall Mathers LP. I never bought that album but this boy made me and my friend a recording on a cassette tape of the song Stan so we could share it. He had a crush on her but that didn't work out for him because she didn't reciprocate.

Speaking of white fans this was Luton so I was white (mixture of British and other European background,) she was South Asian (family were Pakistani,) and this other kid was either half or 1/4 Chinese and white (I seem to have remembered him as being 1/4 Chinese but I don't know if that's accurate now he was part Chinese though.) As with many kids I knew I remember his dad wasn't in his life and his grandma always brought him to school and I know this because I specifically remember a time where there was this black kid who was upset about his dad in class and so they were bonding over that. I'm specifying this partly because that video is about race and hip hop anyway but also because if you don't do this and you talk about stuff people will usually picture white people in their head or whatever groups are either 'the norm' or stereotypical.

I also used to record [BEEP] onto cassette tapes like my voice etc at home. The before times. So funny now. I wasn't there for long but I had a short window of time since I was born in 1991. I lost the Stan recording tape though unfortunately somehow (again we were supposed to be sharing it.) Such a dick thing to do. I don't know how in my defence I was 9 years old that year and even now I'm an incredibly disorganised person.

I met that boy again at this anime + manga club in sixth form and he recognised me but I didn't recognise him and I was like 'oh my god.' I hadn't seen him since we were 11 at that point I was 16 I guess. I had fun and also played super smash bros - one of the games I forget which - but I only went to one of those meet ups because of anxiety.

The thing I liked about that period was that even if you had diagnosed selective mutism and significant social anxiety like me I still managed to have some normal kid experiences a bunch of the time even if my anxiety also limited me a lot like there were lots of things I dropped or avoided due to anxiety and motivation issues. And I discovered music through family, kids at school, the kids of my mum's co-workers when I hung out with them - that's how I discovered Marilyn Manson initially lol. Played video games with people sometimes too but nothing like that video. Usually just with my brother, this one cousin, and on occasion while visiting other kids houses. But it would just be like two people playing something or watching while someone else played and taking turns. My brother joked that I was the first lets player he technically watched lol.

It gets more difficult the older you get when you're weird to form connections because it becomes more relevant and impeding to social situations and people's social circles are less malleable and people are less open. I feel like even relatively normal and neurotypical children now have incredibly limited experiences though that are mostly centred around the internet. Which isn't good for them obviously and that's without even factoring in how damaging the pandemic will have been for a lot of kids.

But at the end of the day my life is still really fucked up because of mental health issues and modern culture as well. The nostalgia helps because it gives you something to look back on that's positive or at least more positive - I know one anecdote of someone who killed themselves reasonably young had terrible memory issues where she couldn't remember her life before her early 20s or something. I think probably there was some trauma involved there (I know my memory isn't brilliant actually and I feel I've blocked out a bunch of stuff myself,) but when you have nothing positive to look back on - because lonely people engage in nostalgia we know that now from research it helps with that - what's going to stop them killing themselves? They have no good memories. False nostalgia seems to work a bit that's why we have people looking back at generations where they didn't even exist. And video tapes of people socialising in the early 90s, and 80s and music from the 70s etc.

I was born in 2004, so I want to thank you for messing around thirty years ago and recording this video, allowing me to vicariously witness what it was like to be a metalhead in the decade of the genre's dominance.
    I watched this video recently.:

    "Video games with friends"
1990-Too bad, I have no computer
2020-Too bad, I have no friends
im glad i got to experience gaming with friends in person before technology took over.
My 28 year old envy’s my youth because my generation interacted with humans, not screens.
Imagine being a kid in the 90's. That would have been awesome.
This really blew up during the pandemic where a lot of these videos started getting suggested to people and a lot of these comments on the gaming video anyway are from 3 years ago during the pandemic for that reason.

Obviously older people have always done this because when your life is [BEEP] you look back. But it was really weird to start seeing young people doing this. Like teenagers. It's a sign something is very wrong. Because kids are supposed to have their own thing and their own life. Like when I was a teenager sure we listened to older music etc, but we had our own cultures. And I never saw anyone doing this. I suppose we did similar stuff like become interested in other cultures instead of time periods (at one point I was trying to teach myself Finnish lol with a cassette tape and book I got from a library and this was a bit retro I guess for 2004 the library card I had back then was like this laminated piece of paper that was printed out now you get proper cards that look like a debit card or something - I didn't get far with that either. I don't speak Finnish now lol. I used to use the Finnish habbo hotel sometimes lol,) and presumably there were some kids somewhere who preferred some past aesthetic and absolutely hated the current time. But it's so common now. And they're obviously lonely.

I noticed this started to become more common online - specifically with teenagers who weren't around at the time saying they were born in the wrong generation etc - around 2016. Which I think is when Filthy Frank made that video about teenagers doing that at that time.

You guys were like the real life "Stranger Things" kids.
This amused me because that show is supposed to be set in the 80s and even though this video is from 1990 it's already very 90s vibes. Also:

Bruh stranger things was based in the 70s not 90s
Nope still wrong lmfao. Some of this might be trolling because someone said something like World War 2 started in the 90s lol.

But I'm not a kid now. My main issue in the early 2000s was I only heard mainstream hip hop music (it wasn't as easy to stumble on music then not that it's easy now really for different reasons,) and I had much the same complaints then, as his kids (male) have about hip hip now (he mentions at some point in the video 'why are they rapping about women like that?' etc.) I'm not averse to commercialised mainstream music but that didn't work for me very much.

I haven't heard of any of those newer white rappers he talks about. I like Aesop Rock though he's great.

And yeah I can tell he was inspired by older hip hop acts and not just Eminem too.

In the early 2010s I liked white hip hop artists like Astronautalis. This track mostly which blends genres:

This happened at some point so I guess he's probably disappeared now:

In June 2020 Astronautalis was accused of sexual assault and physical abuse by a number of accounts on Instagram and Twitter. Astronautalis released a response admitting to this abuse and has since deleted all of his tweets and made his account private.[9]
Also other people in that circle:

In June 2020 P.O.S released a statement regarding allegations of abuse by his touring DJ. In response to this, multiple women came forward accusing P.O.S himself of a history of manipulation and emotional abuse.[32] In July 2020 P.O.S responded to these allegations and announced that he was stepping away from music.[33]
So that sucked I was never a huge fan of any of these people because I've never been a huge fan of hip hop, but I liked some of their work and I liked Doomtree:

Anyway Death Grips is my #1 'I don't like hip hop but' probably lol.

"I don't like hip hop but I like Death Grips (sometimes.)"

they're different. doom is pure hip hop. when i read mc ride's lyrics i feel like im reading an ancient satanic scripture
    The impulse is pure
    Sometimes our circuits get shorted
    By external interference

    Signals get crossed
    And the balance distorted
    By internal incoherence

    A tired mind become a shape-shifter
    Everybody need a mood lifter
    Everybody need reverse polarity

    Everybody got mixed feelings
About the function and the form
    Everybody got to deviate
    From the norm

So yes, people are theoretically right that men can find someone by improving + lowering their standard. But guys are pissed that if they improve until they're a 7.5 / 10, they can only easily get a 2.2 / 10 woman, and maybe a 4/10 woman if they date a lot. Men think it's unfair that they have to date down by 3 - 4 point just to find someone. And they're right.

You got garbage punchlines and plastic similies
I recycled your rhymes to trash you lyrically
Cause back in high school, I smashed his chickadee
To cut, she cut science class to visit me
We had the chemistry, attracted physically
Taught her sex ed and wood shop, now Math is history

    Lol wordcel vs shape rotator.

This of course is not what I meant in that post though when I said poet. Male intrasexual competition isn't attractive to most women and even considered a turn off when it's obvious.

There is of course nothing you can do now because of the cynicism and distrust.

    And I'm scanning
    Through the stations
    As the boys declare
    Their feelings
But it doesn't feel like feelings
    It feels like they're pretending
    It's like they just want
    Blowjobs
    And they know these songs
    Will get them

Clear competition is often displaced into a kind of homoeroticism like the subreddit r/GatekeepingYuri which does this (mostly,) with female on female competition, or in for a reverse example that time I read part of a Sylvia Plath poem and thought 'that sounds romantic' and then looked it up and realised it was called 'The Rival,' and although slash and yaoi and similar genres are doing seventy five different things at once that's a part of what those genres are doing as well. Especially when you have enemies being shipped together. It's like bonobo culture.

That seems to kind of be a tension culturally at the moment because men also don't like female intrasexual competition like the existence of instagram models although to be fair a large part of their dislike is because they dislike feeling sexually manipulated and that's a byproduct + additional factor of a bunch of that stuff. But it's also very much about competition between women.

A conundrum for the Jordan Peterson's of the world. Who also hate intersexual competition. (Women competing with men and vice versa.)

Not sure if he's ever framed things like this. He usually talks about hierarchy and the left's dislike of hierarchy. Which is really often women and feminine people's dislike of hierarchy. Critiquing the left basically becomes critiquing women though when the left is more and more occupied by women. Not really much focus on competition I don't think but might have forgotten something.

So he's talking about Elon Musk in this video which is interesting as well actually to quote:

"He has the ability to do exactly what he did. He went into twitter and he said. He's a good observer of the pareto principle. A small minority of people do all the productive work. He's like all you people you're gone and he just does it and everyone who's whiny and complaining complains and no doubt some people who were doing a credible job were also let go cause it's a pretty broad swathe let's say."

That is in fact what the high functioning psychopaths do in office culture yeah. Again look at the 'Gervais principle'

    https://www.ribbonfarm.com/2009/10/0...to-the-office/

A Sociopath with an idea recruits just enough Losers to kick off the cycle. As it grows it requires a Clueless layer to turn it into a controlled reaction rather than a runaway explosion. Eventually, as value hits diminishing returns, both the Sociopaths and Losers make their exits, and the Clueless start to dominate. Finally, the hollow brittle shell collapses on itself and anything of value is recycled by the sociopaths according to meta-firm logic.

    [...]

Based on the MacLeod lifecycle, we can also separate the three layers based on the timing of their entry and exit into organizations. The Sociopaths enter and exit organizations at will, at any stage, and do whatever it takes to come out on top. The contribute creativity in early stages of a organization's life, neurotic leadership in the middle stages, and cold-bloodedness in the later stages, where they drive decisions like mergers, acquisitions and layoffs that others are too scared or too compassionate to drive. They are also the ones capable of equally impersonally exploiting a young idea for growth in the beginning, killing one good idea to concentrate resources on another at maturity, and milking an end-of-life idea through harvest-and-exit market strategies.
"He's got rid of 75% of the people and twitter is still working."

Now replace twitter with society as a whole Jordan.

This film is so great. Even though I realised recently it has the moral structure of every horror film so Spoiler: Jean (Chloe Sevigny's character,) is kind of the 'final girl.' and she fits the innocent persona too when compared to most other characters in the film.

The final girl is a trope in horror films (particularly slasher films).[1][2] It refers to the last girl(s) or woman alive to confront the killer, ostensibly the one left to tell the story. The final girl has been observed in many films, including Psycho, Voices of Desire, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Halloween, Alien, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, and Train to Busan.[3] The term was coined[4] by Carol J. Clover in her article "Her Body, Himself: Gender in the Slasher Film" (1987).[5] Clover suggested that in these films, the viewer began by sharing the perspective of the killer, but experienced a shift in identification to the final girl partway through the film.
The original meaning of "final girl", as described by Clover in 1987, is quite narrow. Clover studied slasher films from the 1970s and 1980s (which is considered the golden age of the genre)[6] and defined the final girl as a woman who is the sole survivor of the group of people (usually youths) who are chased by a villain, and who gets a final confrontation with the villain (whether she kills him herself or she is saved at the last minute by someone else, such as a police officer), and who has such a "privilege" because of her implied moral superiority (for example, she is the only one who refuses sex, drugs, or other such behaviors, unlike her friends).

There are technically two though because Spoiler: he doesn't kill Luis either.

(Realistically I'm never going to read the book it's based on so can't compare and contrast the two. I've heard it's more violent and fucked up.)

What was the point of the scene where Jean is going through Patrick's planner and being horrified by his drawings?
To set up American Psycho 2: all american girl
American Psycho 2 (also known as American Psycho II: All American Girl)[1][2] is a 2002 American slasher film directed by Morgan J. Freeman from a screenplay by Alex Sanger and Karen Craig. Starring Mila Kunis and William Shatner, it is a stand-alone sequel to the film American Psycho.[3] Kunis portrays a criminology student who seeks to advance her career by murdering her classmates.
OK I thought this person was joking. What the actual fuck. Why does this exist lmfao? Am I actually high right now? (It would explain a lot)

The screenplay for the film, entitled The Girl Who Wouldn't Die, originally had no association with American Psycho.[4] After production began, the script was altered to connect the film with the original.[5] American Psycho 2 was released direct-to-video on June 18, 2002. It was also denounced by Bret Easton Ellis, the author of the original novel, and Kunis later expressed regret for the film.[6][5]
This is like reverse 50 shades of grey lol. 'We have this plot. How do we turn this into a American Psycho fanfic?' Although I've never seen 50 shades of grey in my head it's actually American Psycho fanfiction instead of Twilight (it makes more sense.) Also again I've never seen 50 shades of grey but it seems to be more about the author's repressed dominant sexual instinct because:

Christian lost his virginity at age 15 to one of his mother's friends, Elena Lincoln, and his previous BDSM relationships failed due to incompatibility. In his first BDSM relationship, he was the submissive. Christian and Ana plan to meet again, and he takes Ana home, where she discovers several job offers.
Elena Lincoln, also known as Mrs. Robinson, is the main antagonist of Fifty Shades Darker and the secondary antagonist of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy as a whole, aside from Jack Hyde and Leila Williams.
This is the central tension of the books: Ana loves Christian, but she doesn't want to be his submissive; Christian loves Ana, but he's turned on by violent sex.
By the end of the third book, Christian gives up on being in a dominant/submissive relationship with Ana
As he finds his way back, slowly considering the possibility of life without BDSM and with the emotional openness that Ana needs, Christian is finally changed, and willing to give up control to another.
Or that's what I get from reading about it anyway. That and D/s is bad and the opposite of a loving vanilla relationship or something.

"You're supposed to identify with Anastasia."

Oh. Opps? I'm sure I can do that or have done that at some point. But then mysteriously Christian Grey becomes submissive and she's broken and repressed as well. Either way, he's broken and she's trying to fix him and I'm going to ignore this because I hate this more than anything in the world if I'm Anastasia:

Ana explicitly says she is frightened of Christian, regresses to a child-like state around him, lives in a miniature surveillance state owned by him, and becomes jealous to the point of paranoia when any other woman is even near him. Christian is short-tempered, threatening, equally jealous, potentially violent, and infantilizes Ana. Several commentators have pointed run through checklists of partner abuse and found the relationship depicted has most or all of the features.
I don't mind mutual jealousy in fiction though depending on how it's written. That's one of my kinks. Absolutely hate infantalisation.

There are other films I also haven't seen where I feel like the primary point is to demonise sexually dominant women. Oh yeah I remember now The Piano Teacher. I might be remembering some comment someone wrote about it incorrectly. But either way while I'm still noting a certain person reading about the plot now, it's more subtle.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Piano_Teacher_(film)

Erika Kohut is a piano professor in her early 50s at a Vienna music conservatory who resides in an apartment with her domineering elderly mother. Her late father had been a longstanding resident in a psychiatric asylum. Despite Erika's aloof and assured facade, she is a woman whose sexual repression and loneliness are manifested in her paraphilia, including voyeurism, sadomasochistic fetishes, and self-mutilation.
    Spoiler:
Walter pursues Erika into a lavatory after she secretly injured Anna. Walter passionately kisses Erika, and she responds by repeatedly humiliating and frustrating him. She proceeds to give him a handjob before performing [BEEP] on him, but abruptly stops when he does not abide by her orders to be silent and to look at her and not to touch her. She tells him she will write him a letter regarding their next meeting.

I guess it feels relatable to aspects of my own irl experiences. Also I think I read that Christian Grey hated being touched or something. He has a phobia of being touched yeah.

    Spoiler:
Walter is increasingly insistent in his desire to initiate a sexual relationship with Erika, but Erika is only willing if he will satisfy her masochistic fantasies. She gives him the letter indicating acts she will consent to. He follows her home and reads the letter in her bedroom, but the list repulses him and he leaves. Later that night, Erika's mother is berating her while they lay in bed together for letting Walter in her bedroom in the middle of the night, when Erika suddenly begins kissing and groping her mother. Her mother resists and tells Erika she is unwell.

Again there's the contractual aspect to it all. Has anyone compared this to 50 shades of grey? Probably not. Then it gets kind of Freudian and incestual lol.

    Spoiler:
Erika finds Walter at an ice rink after his hockey practice to apologize. She begins to subjugate herself to him in a janitorial closet. Walter says he loves her and they begin to have sex, but Erika is unable to, and vomits while performing fellatio. Later that night, Walter arrives at Erika's apartment and attacks her in the fashion described in her letter. He locks her mother away in her bedroom before proceeding to beat and rape Erika.

    https://brightlightsfilm.com/undoing...piano-teacher/

Specifically: The Piano Teacher is a film about the impossibility of female desire. Erika cannot find pleasure in the arms of her young male lover.
This lens bums me out. It's not what most cishet men get from this and it's probably not what most cishet women get from it. I guess most of them just enjoy being sexually submissive and most cishet men assume every woman wants to be sexually submissive. Then '[BEEP] heterosexuals' and [BEEP] people in general are left in a strange little corner.

The fin-de-siecle Nineteenth Century woman is weighed down by this heavy sense of guilt and sexual negativity, a position now filled by the homosexual man in the Twentieth Century. Parallels are startlingly obvious. Through the woman's sexuality comes death. Salome in Huysmans' A Rebours is a true harlot, obedient to her passionate and cruel female temperament'. Her beauty is terrifying and inescapable, to indulge in the pleasures she offers invites death and suffering. Rachilde's girl 'creature' in the 'Grape-Gatherers' entwines herself around the boy in a 'serpentine fashion' certain to cause his doom.
I think about this all the time.

And most mainstream media and left wing people thought it was abusive to Anastasia or something. Left wing people also:

Maybe weren't the target audience for that series.

Can I get through a week without referencing this video in a post? No I don't think that's possible.

While writing this post I began to wonder 'did anyone actually even like these books and buy them for any reason other than 'to see what all the fuss was about?' but a librarian said this 9 years ago:

I work in a library and can personally attest to their popularity. The women who check them out aren't generally twenty-somethings, they're older women. My mom is an older woman who read it (and hated it) and so are my aunts (and they loved it), so this is what I infer about many women who like it based on my librarian observances and experience with my relatives.

They aren't the progressive, feminist type.

    They are older.

    They are surprisingly conservative.

    They aren't big readers.
Librarians are doing god's work. Though this is still just one person's experience lol. And maybe older women are just more likely to use libraries.

I don't think I'm going to bother with 50 shades of grey ever (especially as there are multiple films,) I might get cooties. But maybe I should try and watch The Piano teacher? I still haven't even bothered watching any film with Paul Dano in though and I do really want to watch that film where he's cross dressing so.

Louis, a young teacher enamored of the age of F. Scott Fitzgerald, loses his job when he's caught trying on a bra he finds in a campus office. He decides to go to New York City to find himself and to be a writer.
The fact that I almost wrote this in my head and still haven't watched this film is a testament to how absolutely [BEEP] my attention span is now for watching films.

The odds aren't looking good lol. Especially as... Do I need to consume more doomer [BEEP]? Wasn't Rachilde enough? I dunno. I have to at LeAsT waTcH ThE SoUrCe (this is exhausting is there some text generator that will do this text effect for me?) MaTerIaL BeForE ProJeCtIng + reading other people's projections.

I've seen this pattern over and over so I'm noting it even when I'm not consuming the media.

"I'm afraid. Deeply afraid. That virtualisation enables psychopathy."

Oh. Now you're worried about psychopathy? That's funny.

"I got cancelled by women and [BEEP] people so now I'm very concerned about feminine psychopathy. Also Elon Musk is admirable."

"It's not psychopathy if they're economically successful, agreeing with me and masculine/male."

    (some combination of this.)

Is that the idea? I think it's the idea.

Alright. Well, let's see how much further we can continue to move in this direction under that belief. I mean we will in the US and UK. We don't have a choice.

    https://www.ft.com/content/ef265420-...8-c951baa68945

Britain and the US are poor societies with some very rich people
Starting at the top of the ladder, Britons enjoy very high living standards by virtually any benchmark. Last year the top-earning 3 per cent of UK households each took home about ?84,000 after tax, equivalent to $125,000 after adjusting for price differences between countries. This puts Britain's highest earners narrowly behind the wealthiest Germans and Norwegians and comfortably among the global elite.

So what happens when we move down the rungs? For Norway, it's a consistently rosy picture. The top 10 per cent rank second for living standards among the top deciles in all countries; the median Norwegian household ranks second among all national averages, and all the way down at the other end, Norway's poorest 5 per cent are the most prosperous bottom 5 per cent in the world. Norway is a good place to live, whether you are rich or poor.

Britain is a different story. While the top earners rank fifth, the average household ranks 12th and the poorest 5 per cent rank 15th. Far from simply losing touch with their western European peers, last year the lowest-earning bracket of British households had a standard of living that was 20 per cent weaker than their counterparts in Slovenia.
I like how Tristan Tate walked around Luton which has the highest rate of homelessness outside of London, and I think it's ranked 10th for poverty in the UK:

Luton has been named among the top 10 most destitute areas in the UK in new statistics. The Joseph Rowntree Foundation revealed that more than a million children are living in ?horrifying levels of destitution? across the country.

The charity said the number of kids in extreme poverty had almost tripled in five years with many struggling to get the food they need. Across all age groups, around 3.8million people experienced destitution in 2022. The number of children was 1.04 million, up from 362,000 in 2017.

Luton was named tenth in the list, with Newham, Manchester and Middlesbrough placing highest in the list for destitution. Six in 10 people in destitution said they did not have enough food, with many also saying they could not afford the heating.
And instead of highlighting this or anything positive really about the culture of the town he just started talking about the issues with immigration he frames it all as an immigration issue when he himself is mixed race, his dad was American, and he lived in the US for parts of his childhood.

    I love this reality.

He talks about the murders and talks about some guy who killed himself towards the end of the video of course.

Nicholas Phillips inherited Luton Hoo, a stately home in Bedfordshire, in 1977 after the death of his grandfather, Sir Harald Wernher, Bt. He wanted to develop a business park, Capability Green in the 1980s, and, unfortunately, amassed major debt, which was exacerbated by the property crash in the mid-80s. He committed suicide on March 1, 1991.
A story I didn't even know about that building because there are so many cool things that happened in or near that building. Like this:

Lesbian Vampire Killers is set in Norfolk, based around the village of Cranwich which is portrayed in the film as Cragwich, but was filmed outside London on location at Luton Hoo in Bedfordshire and in Three Mills film studios in Bromley-by-Bow.
OK that's for the lols but it's been used as a film location for a bunch of films. Also it's a really great area and I have fond memories of walking around there with my brother.

He has a level of cynicism that surpasses my own and I really struggle in that regard.

I think the only thing they consistently get right (Andrew and Tristan,) in terms of points they make is that the 'UK is a failed society.' Or rather it obviously will be if we continue down this path.

Yes I've said all this before and talked about that Tristan Tate video recently as well but it's just a perpetual car crash in slow motion. And we have no voice.

    This band is pretty good:

You're not just dealing with that reality either you're dealing with the cultural demoralisation that comes with it but in a sense I see it in them it's why they're psychopaths right? Also partly genetic probably (and then people argue about how much is in-born.) So I can't even blame them fully cause I do get the cynicism.

This point is supported by the finding that the worst mental health outcomes are in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa some of the world's biggest and strongest economies. They are also countries, such as the UK, where a successful economy has driven inequality and a cost-of-living crisis for many.
"Overall the findings were surprising and left us to ponder that perhaps our systems of economic growth, values of individualism and a shift from in-person to largely digital interaction fosters an environment of poor mental wellbeing. This data makes clear that, to nurture the human spirit, we need a new paradigm."
I think there's more going on here because I'm not sure the entire Anglosphere is equally unequal economically but it's certainly a serious issue for the US and UK. I think the Anglosphere (or the 'core Anglosphere' is a more accurate term,) has a bunch of issues besides that culturally but it's hard to articulate. It's not just immigration because the whole of Western Europe has that. I think a lot of people know on an instinctual deep level there's a serious problem but figuring out what it is is difficult. And this was the broader finding I think? Assuming this was the thing they're referencing.

Altogether, mental wellbeing was highest in Swahili- speaking Sub Saharan Africa, French-speaking North Africa, and English-speaking South East Asia, and lowest in the Core Anglosphere, English-speaking South Asia and Portuguese Latin America.

Wow, I can't believe there's only 4 comments. I gotta listen to this at least 2 more times. Something in this clicked in my head. I'm currently dealing with a emasculating woman who actively seeks, admittedly she seeks to emasculate me. So far I've out played her moves and she knows it. But what she does not know is how much it is beginning to hurt me. It's not playful anymore. I have been fond of her for some time, now I kind of despise her and the last time she tried to initiate sex with me I stopped it. This is what has me so torn because I think about her constantly and normally turning down sex at the point that we're at could be a good move on my part because she's really starting to bother me, yet I want to see her, but I don't want sex, but I do, but I don't. What in the hell is happening. I do not like this at all.
Should have agreed to a safe word.

You can't really have a relationship though if you're excessively competitive with each other, and most people don't enjoy that. I'd guess maybe a small minority of hyper competitive people enjoy it at least on some level.

Elon Musk told his first wife as they danced at their wedding that he was "the alpha in this relationship," according to a 2010 essay.
It's not something most people would put up with. He has this habit of dating women like Olivia Wilde I don't think I need to expand further beyond saying her name. Grimes is also.. Complicated.

You can't turn it off right?

So I was browsing through tweets yesterday and I found one by a trans woman but I looked at her profile and I saw a trans woman's response to her tweet which is relevant to this post. So just going to post my thoughts at the time about everything:

I swear I was straight until British people started existing 🫠
    LOL

So after this as I said I clicked on her profile:

idk why transphobes think I want to be a cis a girl, this may be a shocker but I actually LIKE being trans and prefer this over being born a girl 🙄
Trans girls are hotter than cis girls, change my mind.
    This ^^
And this was what I thought at the time:

I dunno that's a very straight woman thing to say.

It's actually hard to wrap my mind around thinking this way with women lol. Maybe if there was a woman dating someone I was specifically into. I'm not that competitive with women so not comparing myself most of the time. I compare myself to guys more.

I see trans women do this a bunch on social media I get why, and I also think some of them only date trans women, but I think it's kind of a dumb attitude to have if you want to date cis women. Because reading this I just think 'oh you're not attracted to cis women OK.'

And this is a problem that [BEEP] people have always had but straight people have now too. And culturally nobody is managing this well. Obviously right wingers think that if they can just force women back into traditional roles they'll stop trying to compete with men. Especially given the methods of competition are often seen as quite underhanded, they're not masculine obviously, and ruthless and 0 sum.

This is funny (tweet from Grimes):

Everyone I know is constantly arguing about how to make a religion to save the world when the perfect religion is right in front of you and it's called physics
I mostly find it fascinating that this implies that the circles you are in frequently talk about creating new religions, which isn't something most people would discuss with fervent seriousness to begin with.
Yeah that entire circle (silicon valley/tescreal types,) is kind of cult-like and always doing that. But yeah this is a wider topic right now among talking heads as well very obviously some have gone back to Christianity or Islam. But I'm not interested in top down solutions or your religion cause you know:

Imagine if I stopped posting here and just did this instead lol (I'm not knocking them I like their video essays.)

"Maths is why you're single also inequality is bad."

    "That'll be 25 pounds."

Like the last 5 minutes of this video lol:

Yep the last 5 minutes of this 3 minute video. This is why maths is important. You know what I mean though the end of this video. Too lazy to look up the timestamp.

"Imagine if I got paid for this. Hey guys this is the book I got. There's some funny stuff in it. Feminism. Money"

It hits harder because of the Gorillaz track it fades into lol.

    LOL

That would be a better decision you should always try to monetise everything you can't help yourself doing because of undiagnosed (or diagnosed) ADHD, but since I don't want to show my face I'd then have to you know circumvent that visually. I'm also not that charismatic. The internet is a blood bath and I like making the content I make now but even that can be a bloodbath if you're not perfect and people realise. I get anxious recording audio. Even posting here is a bad idea.

I could probably never talk for more than 10 minutes in this genre without referencing music and song lyrics though and then get demonetised by trying to insert song clips lol. You can get away with short clips from TV and film easily I've found but most music is auto demonetised essentially. Even if it's 10 seconds of slightly quiet background music in the background of a Sims 3 club playing a Simlish version of some song. In house video game music and more obscure stuff (so that artist has no YT channel and you can't find them on amazon or any of their work for sale something like that,) used in a video game is usually fine though.
