Sorta yes... I have definitely progressed knowing what was wrong with me and why I felt this way, which is incredibly liberating. I have applied techniques here and there and I have worked hard/long enough to keep them going. It is going to take a heck of a lot, but just like what Andy Dufrane said in Shawshank.... I guess it comes down to a simple choice really...get busy livin' or get busy dyin'

Hard to say. I am more aware of my anxiety at least. As for the anxiety itself, I feel it's gotten worse.

It's gotten worse, without a doubt. A lot of it may be the stuff I've gone through over the last five years especially. My girlfriend's suicide is the single biggest source of all my anxiety and depression. And it doesn't appear to be getting better with time, if anything it seems to be getting worse.

Your girlfriend's silence might be her loudest scream.

If you still have more dreams than regrets, congratulations. You haven't gotten old yet.

Spend every moment like it's your last. Hug her, kiss her, hold her, like it's the last time that you ever will. Because it might be.

Can't say because my anxiety just began in February after my back injury. I go through cycles. It had gotten better for a few weeks, but for the last month it has gotten worse.

Mines not gotten better although it's not the same my panic attacks are stronger heavier and last longer and now there's more things that set me off with it. On the plus side my boyfriend has taken note and gotten better at coping and stopping as many things from setting me off

I'd say some aspects have gotten a bit better. I'm pretty okay at work, talking with people about work stuff and whatnot. I'm still an anxious mess around women I like though. I definitely went through a year or two of it getting worse before it got better.

Well the medication I take helps but other than that, not really. Still can't drive or work anywhere without having a panic attack so that's just something I'm gonna have to discuss with the psychiatrist more about. I have gotten better with talking to people though.

My anxiety has gotten better in the last 6 months. For those who have known me awhile here, they know that only one of my alters suffers with anxiety. When I started integrating, it got really bad because I was finally feeling the anxiety rather than stuffing it or dissociating from it. But I've been working really hard on learning to breathe deeply when I feel the anxiety building up. I've also been learning ways to talk to myself and my alters to find out what is stressing me/them which also helps. So yes, I have to say it has gotten better. I still have panic moments, but I'm getting better at talking myself off the ceiling.
The Hokey Pokey IS what it's all about
