Anyone else have a problem with this? I absolutley hate them. Seriously. Call up. "Please leave a message after the tone...". Immeadiatly hang up. Because no way am I going to record a message.

At times I prefer to leave a message, rather than them answering. I just state why I'm calling, my name and number

I generally don't pick up the phone without screening it through my answering machine unless I'm specifically expecting a call, so if somebody doesn't attempt to leave a message they most likely won't get through to me even if I'm home because I'm waiting to see who it is before I pick up.
As for myself, unless it's time sensitive I think I'd prefer to leave a message and have someone get back to me.

I also find it very difficult to leave a message. WHen I do, I spend all day thinking about how bad I sounded and what I should have said instead.

Yep, when I get someone's voicemail I hang up right away, don't like my voice getting recorded.
Lol yeahh all I do is hang up when I hear that, but I'll be annoying and call maybe every 10mins...maybe maybe every hour
It sucks, especially because most people don't respond to the voice mail
When I was younger my parents gave me a hard time about not leaving a voice mail and when ever I left one to hangout with my friend no one responded, so I just don't bother any more
