    feeling

    Panicky I am, I've handed in a sick note for 2weeks I'm scared my job won't last, I m scared my stepdad will do more than suggestive texts, I worry mum will moan the house is a mess even though I've been cleaning, I feel anxious. I'm anxious I get offered a house quickly and I will take it and then can't cope, I've too much in my head right now

    Okay, I noticed you from the UK. So am I so:

    They CANNOT fire you from your job in this country if you hand in a sick note. Doing that would be unfair dismissal, and would be classed discrimination, and open them up to the possibility of scandals, compensation and lawsuits that most companies want to avoid.

    It is no fun having a lot of stuff floating about in your head - how about writing down all the things that are making you feel panicky and see how you can deal with each one by writing out what steps you could take!

    Lasair makes a good point. I've always had luck in figuring things out when I've written them down. Often my thoughts are just a scattered mess and nothing makes any sense till it's on paper. At the very least, it might make your mind feel less crowded?
