Saturn’s ring system would be too large to make the distance between the moon and the earth.
But now a new ring system has been discovered that is actually much bigger and heavier than the very young sun-like star J1407. It consists of more than 30 individual rings, each of them tens of millions of kilometers in diameter.
The study shows that there are large gaps between each concentric ring that indicates the presence of exomoon in the space.
In 2012, Astronomers in the Netherlands and the University of Rochester in New York found the first large ring system outside our solar system, circling a giant planet or brown dwarf star named J1407b.
