    Daily Migraines

Anyone else have a migraine daily & throughout most of the day? Like they never hardly get a break from them? That person would be me. I just don't know what to do. I've had scans performed on my head over the years & nothing shows except the obvious. I get migraines. I just haven't received any sort of advice nor medication for them. I buy & eat up pain pills from the store like crazy to try to keep them away but they always come back. I'm just so tired of my head hurting. I've heard that people with Fibromyalgia have them & are on medication. That is a possibility with me since I do have body pain pretty much everywhere else too. It's just my head that's the worse. Any advice? Should I ask my doctor if there is medication I can take for them? I'm gonna be asked to be tested for Fibromyalgia also.

PS: I'm turning 20 in July so I'm rather young.

Sorry to hear about the migraines. I do know someone who is getting daily migraines but it's still under investigation. I definitely think you should get the fibro thing checked out though. Update us if you can.

I wouldn't look towards Fibromyalgia as the "go to" answer. I think I recall you saying you have PCOS? This could be one of the issues with hormone imbalance and causing body pain / migraines. As well as if your managing PCOS with birth controls those can cause chronic headaches like you describe.

I was recently tested at the Hospital for Fibromyalgia as well as Arthritis. Both came back Negative so that wasn't it. & yes I have PCOS. You make a very valid point. I never thought about that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! That'll be something I can discuss with either my doctor or Gynecologist.

I did find out that the rest of the body pain I was having such as back & chest was from my Gallbladder about to rupture after being rushed to the Hospital one evening. I just recently had Gallbladder surgery & I'm feeling so much better with my body. However the migraines are still bad :/ so I'm gonna have to talk to someone about them.

If your OBGYB or General Doc runs out of idea's see a Headache Specialist Nouro (yeah, there are different types of nouro's) I go to a special headache clinic and the guy really is the best. I notice general nouros can brush people off...
