Hey welcome to the site. I did an aptitude test in school that said I would make a good pilot, sometimes I wish went that direction. It sounds really cool. I am an nurse and I have anxiety, my job for the most part doesn't scare me either. Everyone deals with anxiety in different ways. Have you done any research or tried anything yourself yet?

On what different things might help your anxiety? I find you can tell others everything under the sun but when you do/ start something for yourself it has more effect. Coming here is a good start

that would be a rewarding job
i get anxious about flying with some people, about checks, test and some times getting up early in the morning.
and just small things like if i get home late and have to get up early the next day and i don't have dinner or my room mate hasn't do it.
    sounds stupid but… yea.

Hello anxiouswings. I'm an Aussie living in the U.S. Got my private pilot years ago but haven't flownuch since. Currently doing instrument course and at the same time have come to the realization that I have anxiety - and flying and the fear of screwing up really makes learning to fly tough. I'm determined to keep going to and to finish and not let anxiety stop me but it's a challenge. I'm reading lots of various solutions. I'll be glad to share these with you and if you have tips that would be great also. One of my primary concern is that when I become anxious it shuts down my logical brain which of course makes it very hard to do what you need to do in the ca One of my primary concern is that when I become anxious it shuts down my logical brain which of course makes it very hard to do what you need to do in the cockpit.
