What hobby or hobbies do you have, that help you to keep your anxiety in its box???


Some 20 plus years ago, I bought a used Yamaha 350 street/dirt bike/motorcycle from a friend of mine, and I was hooked! A motorcycle is the ultimate convertible. There is a certain freedom that exist between you, two wheels, and the open road.

I was into crotch-rockets for a number of years. The fastest I ever went on a bike was 150 mph, and that was fast enough-LOL!

I seem to have become saner in my old age, and rarely go over the speed limit now. Maybe that is why I'm still alive at this point.

Six weeks ago, I bought a used 2009 Yamaha TMax. This is my 6th motorcycle. I am enjoying working on the bike, both maintenance wise and cosmetically. I call her Maxine, and hope to enjoy a lot of time on her...Yamaha T-Max Blue #4 (1).jpg

Here is a picture of the real thing, my 2009 Yamaha TMAX, named "Maxine"... It is a labor of love, working on her. We have had a very mild winter on the Gulf Coast, with lots of high temps in the 70's. Perfect riding weather...

Not sure if you ever heard of Pyrography? Not to be nistaken with pornography. This is the art of burning images onto wood. Just something I do every now and again. Pick a well known face and do my own take on it. Using my wood burning pencil and coughing my lungs up from the smoke.

These are just 2 examples. Only 2 I have on the computer. Most I simply dump in a shed out back. Shows how serious I take what I do.

Good to be into something different. Apart from that I love my radios. Radio junky. Both radio scanners and your better than average world band radios. Antennas all over the place here. Indoor and outdoor.
