Please keep in mind, this is an early test version. We have little in the way of custom graphics yet, so keep in mind there
are placeholder gfx in these. AS-World can use gfx and animations in any complexity. But heeey, y'all asked for it, so
here they are!

Is it just for the chat or will it replace the forum?

Will we have to use silly avatars that you dress and build that stand in a room that you build? I've seen some of these and you just can't take people seriously when they look like a cartoon character.

And yes, I realize my avatar is a cartoon character. I'm talking about I've seen the discussion boards that look like a video game like theorama.org which is great for teens and young adults, but just looks silly for older people. I know most people here are teens and young adults though, so if that's what you're going for, I can see that it would attract the younger set.

Neither, if the game gains support among members it might be placed along side the forums and chat, but it won't replace anything. I like to point out that other than this section and server space, this is all Skippy's hard work.

I definitely appreciate his work. Please don't get me wrong. It's not a complaint. It was just a question about what was being changed. I feel like I live enough in a cartoon world already without having to change completely into an avatar in an avatar world.

Yeah it is NES ish because I have nothing yet. And as for avatars, well you can make em into anything you want. This doesn't replace nuthin ether; just a side project of mine. It may end up more an MMORPG at some point; I don't know yet where it'll take me.
This is kinda like that where ya have a house n such, but I must say there's a big diff between something like this and a silly flash game. All I can say is we'll know when I'm done. It's about high time anyway I put my skills to decent use.

I'm creating a world inside a server. Who knows, maybe I'll take it even furthur. maybe planets, n space n all that....ahahah!

I really do wanna add space in it where one could explore randomly generated worlds in a ship. thatd be fuuuun! I did work on a design for such already.

I'm writin' it in C++. I've not done anything new save for making an OSX port of the client in the past like...2 weeks or so. x.x But eh, I'm takin' a lil break for now cuz I was workin' too much.
