I wonder if Russian road rage like that on vid is really the norm, or just the most extreme cases caught on vid. I think in the last case where the driver in front pulls out a baseball bat in the trunk and the guy with the vid takes out a hammer is more of the norm. It seems like there is a complete lack of police patrol and enforcement of the law on the streets. I've seen a lot of road rage in Los Angeles, mainly because of the car volume and traffic, but what prevents people from trying to kill each other is strong police enforcement and simply civility for our everyday citizens.
