Ok. This is going to sound so corny.
I've recently noticed that I'm getting what I wished for lately.
I wished for a date and got one. Yes, he was 70 years old and has been emailing me things so way out there that I can't even begin to understand that it's anything short of a stroke.
I do remember saying one day right before a storytime, "I miss teaching. I'd like to be a teacher again." Now boom! I'm in a teaching position making 20,000.00 less.
So to save myself from utter destruction down the road, I won't wish for anything specific.
Now here's the corny part.
I've given this some long thought and I would truly like to see "peace on earth and goodwill toward men." (told you this would be corny)
It's just that if people let other people be who they are with no fighting and if everyone just tried to be nice to each other, well, that would be awesome.
It would be just my luck that peace on earth or goodwill toward men would somehow lead to the destruction of our planet.
Ok. I'm done.
