Live Like You Are Dying (YOLO)

I thought this was worth a look, if you have 15 minutes to spare. I thought it was a very powerful message. I'm gonna bookmark it and come back and re-watch every once in a while. For me, it made me think a lot about my girlfriend, before the suicide. What I would do if I could go back to when she was still alive. I'd hug her a lot tighter. I'd kiss her more often. I'd buy her flowers more than I did. I'd watch the sunset with her more often on the swing in the front yard. I'd laugh more. I wouldn't take anything no matter how small, for granted.
Bereavement is a darkness impenetrable to the imagination of the unbereaved. ~Iris Murdoch

Your girlfriend's silence might be her loudest scream.

If you still have more dreams than regrets, congratulations. You haven't gotten old yet.

Spend every moment like it's your last. Hug her, kiss her, hold her, like it's the last time that you ever will. Because it might be.

I try to remember to live each moment. My grandmother had a saying. She said, "If you have one foot in the future. And one foot in the past. You piss on the present." She's right. It's not about where you're going or where you've been. As Miley Cyrus would say, "It's the climb." I try to remember that what's important is each and every moment.

I like that expression, "if you have on foot in the past and another in the future, you're pissing on the present"

I can't look at the YouTube video since I'm on my phone and it's been having problems with YouTube :/

But, I agree OP, I'm in a relationship right now and I'd do anything and I always enjoy it, and I try to savor every moment we spend together because boy does it go fast! And I know one day it will be gone...even if it's 50-60 years from now, it's not enough, it will come soon...putting a time limit on something makes it never enough since one day it will end...

I have to remember to watch the video when I get home.

But yeah I do try to enjoy ever moment...

People always ask me things like "Why doesn't things affect you?", "Why aren't you annoy/angry/sad?", "How can you let stuff go?", etc. Today in fact, someone asked me the latter and this video sums up my reasoning perfectly.

    This was a good video...

    It was true...

Nice to watch, it did make me sad, I was thinking of someone I am very close with right now and thought what if I lost them.

Same for my family too, I thought about it all the time, what if I lost them, and I got really sad...but everything is okay
