Do you ever feel like your attraction to someone changes when you know you're
gonna be moving and won't be able to see them again? I noticed something today where I felt like I found someone very attractive when she's not really my type. She's still pretty, but in most cases, I wouldn't have been interested in asking her out or trying to see if she was married.
Do you think this is part of wanting what you can't have?
well yeah i think its just that you don't want to leave the things you know behind, and then maybe you're feeling like you never fully appreciated was around you (the people, the places, etc) and have a sudden surge to get to know them better when there's not much time left. i think that's normal. don't kids wait until the last day of school before summer to ask their crushes out? it's not really that they're anymore attracted to them on that day or as the summer nears but that's their last chance to see if it was meant to be. a lot changes over the summer and by next year things could be different. you might not even be going to the same schools.
