    The 2013 Crappies - Worst Song of the Year Vote

    So I probably should explain this...

    Two years ago, I had a blog called "The Halls of Neo Arcadia". It was a predominantly political blog, but a big section of it was dedicated to music reviews. Well, that year, I created an award for the worst song of the year called the Crappies.

    Unfortunately, because of my issue with severe anemia and the Crohn's, combined with the death of my blog, I've had to make this year's Crappies belated. I got enough asking from people to make one so here it is. Not sure if the 4-5 people (Beccadaisy being one of them ) asked me to give it another shot because it's so interesting or because 2013 is such a bad year for music. I'm assuming the latter because there are six nominees for this one.

    Wait till next year. LOL. I already got three nominees for 2014. Avril Lavigne's Hello Kitty, Alison Gold's Shush Up, and Buck 22 & Billy Ray Cyrus' Achy Breaky 2.

    2013 was very weird. Normally I'd cut the field to four, but it was hard to, so I just made it six.

    It's just so sad the direction music is going.....
    I miss the days when just anyone could pick up an instrument and do something worthwhile, not this crap like
    14 year olds on synth; anyone can do it; there's no talent in that even, and very little real talent these days...
