Hey! Besides winning this thread, did I tell you my house got struck by lightning last week? It was like a bomb went off in my house. Of course it fried my TV video input portal (I forgot to use my surge protector when I moved) and a few outlets in the back of my house are toast. It was pouring raining, so no fire thank goodness.

When it hit, I saw a blinding white yellow light and I was knocked off the sofa. I struggled to go upstairs in the dark because of course the power was blown out. I couldn't hear anything for a little while and everything was knocked over.

I got my flashlight and called my neighbor to ask if my roof was on fire. Nope. She asked the same. So we're not really sure where it hit, but because of my damages I figure it was way too close for comfort.

So now if I think it will storm, everything is getting unplugged and I'm hiding somewhere. :-)

I have to admit..................it gave me another story to tell. My life is one big Cajun story after another.

whoaaaa thats scary! I had a bolt hit just outside of a cottage in Windsor area once while I was standing there watching the storm. It went all white and the tree was split and ablaze.....LOL least it didnt hit mah house! yikes....! that's just scary O_____o

I'm so happy that so many kind and awesome people have come here; it makes this place exactly what we set out to make it.

I'll try n' cheer up as best I can when possible. It's just really hard for me right now. My injuries n such as well, but I went to the brain injury rehab clinic this morning and it went pretty ok.

And what's this bout winning btw???? Now that I made this post here, I'M the winner! HAAAAAAAAAAA!

I'm gonna get better and go right back on my trip again!
