I have a 50 inch TV and I have it on top of a coffee table. The height of the coffee table is similar to the height of my couch where I sit to watch TV and stuff.
On my coffee table are two drawers on the bottom and then some blank space in the middle. There's enough room for something to be placed there. The dimensions for that space is about 6 inches in height by 42 inches in width.
The sound bar might have to sit at an angle so that the sound points up a little since I'll be listening to it while sitting on my couch.
I've looked online at in stores at many sound bars but there are so many . Some expensive ones come with a subwoofer but I'm not sure if those are worth it if I'm living in a 1 bedroom apartment instead of a house.
What do you guys think?
