Apprehensive of Posting/Getting Involved

I know the title is a bit strange, If I were so apprehensive then why am I posting at all right?!

My experience with forums in general is not very good at best. More often than not I have difficulty trying to meld in with the members and being understood via text.
I really long for a space where I am able to pour out my thoughts and frustrations and feelings instead of having them bottled up. I don't really have anywhere to do that

I've written up quite a few posts that I end up just either deleting or closing out my browser and never posting
I dunno.. just intimidated I guess.
