For the first few years of schooling, I was very outgoing and popular. Then I changed schools. One year of solid bullying by the teacher and students and it messed me up in ways I'm not sure I'll ever recover from. I got moved out of that school after that year, but the damage was already done.
From then, I was never a complete outcast, but I was definitely on the fringe of things, socially speaking.
I was never popular in school. I had one or two friends, max. I always got along well with my teachers, though. My best year was 8th grade because one of my teachers gave me an award in front of the entire school for helping out with one of her clubs.

I started online courses in my first year of high school. I was not out going or popular I can't name a single friend that I had in grade school. I was bullied a ton. It led to a lot of self esteem issues :<
I was bullied in various ways. Not physically, but emotionally, and mentally. Interestingly, I haven't had to deal with anyone from school - except one from college. Whenever I see him, he's a deer in headlights. It's sad but funny at the same time.
