Hi all, I'm another refugee from SAS. Well, I intend to hang out at both sites for now. My social anxiety is mostly in the past now and I'm managing my general anxiety with daily meditation (it helps a lot). The dragon does rear its head on a regular basis though...I have more or less accepted that it's there for life. Exercise helps, sleeping enough helps, SSRIs didn't help, therapy helped, exposure helps somewhat but can backfire. Some days are awesome and some days I'm tongue-tied, awkward and engaging in avoidant behaviour. Still, it's subclinical now. Here's one more thing that helps - connecting!
