Probably early childhood, but aside from that, things didn't really get good for me until my 30s.
When people bring up that idea of your school days being the "best years of your life", I always think of this song....
School made me suicidal. [BEEP] that.
Hell no. University/College - maybe. Loved those years. School? Nope.
Cant say I miss the constant exam stress and fear of screwing up your life by failing exams, the teenage angst, the bullying, how many panic attacks took place at school, pretty much being the loner kid.
Left almost a decade back, and I can confidentially say that I would not chose school over work.

I recall the last months in school, and how so many people who had hated school started to feel nostalgic...I didn't. My school days were preoccupied with survival, and when that became less of an issue, I was just mostly drunk and sad.
