From what I've noticed here your OK if you don't question women rights in any way.

It's basically a groundhog day scenario where the same point is brought up over and over but no workable solutions are allowed to be discussed.

Afghanistan is actually putting solutions in place right now to increase the child production rates of its women but just even saying it would be a good idea to see if stripping women of rights improves the situation in that country will get you downvotes.

A solution is a solution even if you don't like it. No amount of gaslighting can evade the truth.

Basically this subreddit is very closed minded right now and is clamping down on freedom of thought which is really dissapointing.
I think any civilisation that has to resort to that should collapse. Afghanistan's regime specifically should on priciple be overthrown by the women and transformed into a matriarchy. It won't be, but it should be.

Perhaps wait for an opportunity when they're distracted with some kind of war, and then take power. That seems to be the blueprint:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_...tion_for_Peace

In 2003 during the Second Liberian Civil War, Women of Liberia Mass Action for Peace forced a meeting with President Charles Taylor and extracted a promise from him to attend peace talks in Ghana[6] to negotiate with the rebels from Liberians United for Reconciliation and Democracy and Movement for Democracy in Liberia. A delegation of Liberian women went to Ghana to continue to apply pressure on the warring factions during the peace process.[7]

Two hundred women surrounded the room, dressed in white, dominating the conversation. Any time the negotiators tried to leave, the women threatened to take off all of their clothes. Enclosed in the room with the women, the men would try to jump out of the windows to escape their talk. But the women persisted, staging a sit in outside of the Presidential Palace. They blocked all the doors and windows and prevented anyone from leaving the peace talks without a resolution.

The women of Liberia became a political force against violence and against their government. Their actions brought about an agreement during the stalled peace talks. As a result, the women were able to achieve peace in Liberia after a 14-year civil war and later helped bring to power the country's first female head of state, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.[7] When President Ellen Sirleaf first came into office, she made women's rights one of her priorities. Her administration focused on the condition of women in Liberia and their needs.[8]

Some of the changes she made involved: putting more women in office, establishing the Women's Legislative Caucus, a multiparty committee in the House of Representatives that ensures a gender-sensitive approach to the legislature, and creating The Inheritance Act, an act that made rights of inheritance for spouses of statutory and customary marriages. Under President Sirleaf, rape, a prominent weapon of war, was also made punishable with a maximum sentence of life in prison.[8]

Not saying this is a matriarchy obviously I just think Islamist men deserve to be ruled in an authoritarine regime by women for at least a decade. But the above is also a decent goal.

The leadership under the Taliban is unlikely to be very intelligent they're mostly depending on brute force so...

Maybe this is useful? I feel like they'd actually believe you:

Women of Liberia Mass Action for Peace is a peace movement started in 2003 by women in Monrovia, Liberia, Africa, that worked to end the Second Liberian Civil War.[1] Organized by Crystal Roh Gawding and social workers Leymah Gbowee and Comfort Freeman, the movement began despite Liberia having extremely limited civil rights. Thousands of Muslim and Christian women from various classes mobilized their efforts, staged silent nonviolence protests that included a sex strike and the threat of a curse.
Lol "If we force women to live traditional lives where they have no other options/alternatives they will live traditional lives."

    Groundbreaking stuff.

    My modest proposal.

Let's put all men in work camps to support women and their babies. They can be the mindless drones to support the queen bees.

No need to receive pay. No need to vote
I think radfemhitler came up with something like this on twitter yeah lol.

I mean "we're just discussing ideas right?"

Actually some men liked radfemhitler's idea and seemed to think women wouldn't and would go insane without men. Personally I would create a regime where most guys are stuck doing feminine stuff because I'm actually evil.

If I wanted to punish one of these guys I'd put them in the office of an all-female skincare company in Australia that makes cringy dance videos like this one they were all freaking out about before and claiming it was why Trump won... Even though it was in Australia:

A small all-female australian skincare company posted a silly tiktok, it went viral and got a load of misogynistic discourse about how women should be subjugated
I doubt I can find a clip on YT to embed so. It attracted the most insane 'longhouse discourse' accounts though.

Tbh they're already mostly living their nightmares anyway.

"Not a female majority work place. No NO NOOOOOO."

All fun and games until they spend 5 people's yearly salaries for a team building activity that's just tarot reading and non-alcoholic drinks at a "witch hut" in downtown Chicago.
^ this is hilariously specific and I want it to be the title of an album or something.

They shoudnt be allowed to do this in the work place. Should be at home tending to the house or at grown-up playgrounds running around and dancing and playing
I feel sheer fear of having to listen to / be exposed to this kind of non-funny 'jokes' and giggles.
And then having to have some kind of socially acceptable response. A nightmare. I think I would need to watch some good stand-up comedy clip just to recover.
We must fight this eviI until it is eradicated.
They are poisoning the blood of our country
Because we all have to work with these types and they do absolutely nothing.
Can we get the Glee generation out of politics now?
Imagine being the IT support guy in that office aka the lone male.
The IT support guy has programmer socks and a blahaj plushie though. Jokes that most people won't get.

they're all on the pill and had at least 20 abortions between them
Same ones who will report you to HR if they believe you looked at them wrong.
These women can't pair bond stay far away
Yeah exactly, please stop doing it. Something women don't seem to understand is that while straight women appreciate guys chopping wood or throwing stones or whatever, the female version is this. It's awful. It is painful to witness. Please keep it private.
    date men
I agree. I have a gay fictional character who's like a hermit who lives alone in the woods and is very masculine who I think would be perfect for you.

No the femininity and show tunes will be forced on you Charlie until morale improves:

    *takes notes*

    *lots of silly cute stuff*

    *lack of productivity/lots of socialising*

    *forced participation*

    *Megan Thee Stallion twirking*

    *Glee*

    *tiktok trend stuff*

*esoteric witchy stuff. Astrology most likely*

*non alcoholic drinks. Cocktails??? Fruity drinks*

    *glitter???*

Of all the layers of Hell 😳
I don't have their personality type and honestly wouldn't enjoy what they're doing either but I might have to reconsider.

These women are the reason why Muslims hate us.
    I should hope so.

It'sgonna be so wonderful not to see these any longer. The moment he won was Butler..when they tried to steal this great man from us.

...You think Trump is going to save you from cringy Australian social media content? Oh dear.

When women are alone together they dorkiply. It's an old form of dorkish magic that's similar to multiplication but only it's 4 times stronger. Here you can see the dork magic is so powerful they went into an unbridled dorklust. A fugue state where they feel an in controllable urge to recite ancient dorkish incantations, in combination with an eastern magic spell called "tiktok", which is something far more darker and far more devilish indeed. Very few have found success quenching their dorklust, aye. I have heard tall tales that one might be able to break a spell such as this by casting a spell of "starting fake infidelity rumors about her friends"... Stay safe weary travelers.

    That's just funny.

Well it's ironic when Western men get stuck in the military they tend to end up crossdressing, or watching MLP or Frozen. Many such cases.

North Korean men end up watching porn in Ukraine hahaha. Allegedly (unproven but according to the if it's funny it's true rule, technically true.)

I found this video on twitter and I like that I found it on YouTube just by searching basically the title of this video lol.

    It's giving Kino cigarette vibes:

Oh that's Slowdive? The band with the aesthetic female singer/guitarist?

Rachel Goswell. I just saw some photo of her once a long time ago which stuck in my head lol without bothering to ever listen to their music.....

Yeah she's in this Drab Majesty song too:

Her father taught her folk guitar songs from the age of seven, and she began studying classical guitar and music theory at age ten.[2] Goswell took classical guitar lessons along with childhood friend Neil Halstead, with whom she formed Slowdive in 1989.[3] She was influenced, from a singing point of view, by Siouxsie Sioux",[4] "it was [she] who made me want to be a singer."[5] Joni Mitchell, Iggy Pop and Nick Cave were her other favorite singers.[6] Goswell was also inspired by the Cocteau Twins; she discovered their music at 16 and "found myself immersed in the magic and wonder of their overall sound musically."[7] The songs that influenced her the most were: "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" by The Smiths, "92 Degrees" from Siouxsie and the Banshees' Tinderbox album, "Persephone" from Cocteau Twins' Treasure album and "River" by Joni Mitchell.[8]

Not bad but I prefer Persephone by Dead Can Dance.

I liked The Smiths song mostly because of the edgy lyrics when I first read them in someone's bio as a teenager lol:

I like these songs more though (actually not sure I like all of them more. Well I like all of them):

I fell down another weird rabbit hole that I started investigating.

what's the deal with "Miladys" and "Remilia"? specifically on twitter?

i keep seeing people say these two words and i think Miladys are some sort of NFT but i cant really find what the sort of ideology is that is associated with it. most of the people with Milady profile pictures are like alt-right/general conservative/left with spirituality/esoteric vibes? i don't know how to explain it. by spirituality, i mean that subculture of people who eat raw meat, don't believe in sunscreen, avoid seed oils, and want traditional lifestyles. if you have no idea what subculture im talking about, you probably wouldn't be able to answer the question i guess. but if you're curious, click the link at the bottom for a large twitter account that conveys what i mean. its not just a twitter thing, though.

im trying to really tell what kinda political vibes or if there are even political vibes (since ive seen so many political differences among posters) associated with this subculture and basically how it started? there are like probably 1000s of these accounts on twitter but i cant really find a good explanation of whats going on. a guy i followed on social media a few years ago has changed his whole social media presence to Remilia/esoteric stuff and reposts lots of people with Milady profile pictures. im just trying to tell what it means?

    [...]

Yeah. I think the same. Though I also think it's fairly removed from the crowd you are thinking of but it all kind of jumbles together. And Remilia Scarlet is a character from Touhou but not seen any images of her specifically.

    https://www.palladiummag.com/2022/11...ternet-person/

Charlie's most infamous account was named "Miya Black Hearted Cyber Angel Baby" (@BPDGOD). He launched the character in 2017 as an experiment in depersonalized posting; his goal was to become the "most infamous thing on the network." The Miya character was known for elaborately canceling itself with the help of partner accounts, as if to make an obtuse commentary on mid-2010s cancel culture. Often, Miya played with obscure online philosophies by taking them to their logical extremes, taking aim at digital subcultures such as "pro-ana" (pro-anorexia) communities and transgender accelerationism.

The effect was the internet encapsulated, the darkness of the deep web embodied by an eerie little girl.
Despite Milady's reputation as a Gen Z project, the median attendee appeared to be a thirty-five-year-old man spaced out on some sort of drug. The couches by the stairs were crowded with mostly male attendees in various states of oblivion. One, bleary-eyed and wearing a red varsity jacket, watched me as I climbed the stairs.
Online, I had watched potential attendees bragging about the various drugs they were going to do at the Milady rave. In person, the display was less bacchanalian than sad. I had a sudden feeling that I wanted to go home.
Upstairs, I met a representative from Seed Oil Capital, one of the anonymous Twitter accounts pumping Milady, who was selling Milady t-shirts for $20 a pop. He had clear skin and dead, vacant eyes. I told him that I had seen Seed Oil on Twitter and he grunted in response. "Everybody loves me." After a few one-word exchanges, he asked for my Twitter handle so that he could "pump me as an e-girl." He slouched in his chair and told me, unprompted, that he doesn?t have many friends.
The e-girl girl sitting across from us slurred "I have twenty-seven Miladys." She wore a Milady t-shirt and a dog collar as a necklace. Her legs spilled out of her fishnet tights. A few minutes later, her boyfriend came to the table wearing a hat that said "Please be patient, I have autism."

The girl actually seemed quite nice, so I gave her my pitch of why I had thought Miladys were cool: using an anonymous profile picture allows you to freely express yourself on the internet and reclaim posting as a medium for connection. Technically, you can actually post anything you want on the internet; the only thing holding you back is reputational cost. Miladys are about supporting the old internet, the free internet.

"You get it, I love that you get it." I didn't sense that she cared very much. Five minutes later she was sitting on the "I have autism" guy's lap, shaking her black tennis skirt into his jeans.
Prior to becoming an internet person, Charlie was a relatively standard 4chan kid. He says that he wanted to be an artist and make internet art. He went to art school and studied architecture--with a specialty in furniture--then switched to a BFA. But he dropped out after realizing circa 2014 that the traditional art world had no interest in engaging with the anarchy of the internet. I asked him, somewhat seriously, about his favorite piece of furniture, and he showed me the Red and Blue chair by Gerrit Rietveld.
As the night went on, he seemed to lose steam. Again and again, he described how Remilia was on the cutting edge of culture and how Milady was making the world a better place. He never clearly explains his earlier work--the supposed grooming cult, the esoteric extremism, and is indignant about his treatment at the hands of the insufficiently online. Isn?t it absurd they tried to cancel me? For an art project?

I stayed with Charlie until one in the morning. The drinks wore off. We had talked for six hours and I was starting to feel a bit sick. He is just some internet person.

"This remarkable, sometimes incoherent transcript illustrates a phantasmagoria of fear, terror, grief, exaltation and finally break down."

That's what it feels like reading about this a bit lol. But with less emotion and more like a depressive drone.

Apparently has some link to gender accelerationism as well and unsurprisingly Nick Land in general.

This sounds sort of like g/acc. None of this really makes sense with any other part of it which I guess is par for the course these days:

    https://michellefederico.substack.co...ccelerationism

There will be an attack, it will be transformative, and we will meet again on the other side. Up into the cloud we go? What exactly happens to us and our meatbags is not clearly articulated. What we do know for sure is that we will not be boys. And in the world of Remilia, this is essential.

One defining feature of anything shared by Remilia is that their protagonist, their ideal type of being, whether fully or only partially human or entirely machine, is unmistakably feminine. We?re all going to live in the Afterlife Online, or as technologically optimised humanoids, and we?re all going to be GIRLS. Heavenly ones. With it/its pronouns, because if everyone is girl, there is no need for distinction. Pronouns are for humans, anyway. We?re leaving all that outdated stuff behind us.

    Hyper-Feminine Futurist Warfare

Milady, the protagonist of the #BRG-verse and the alleged revolutionary subject of the future, threatens us with heart emojis and "love attacks" instead of machine guns. There is no intention of causing physical harm, although there "will be victims". Love attacks are a means of getting people to comply, to bring them to the side of Landian posthumanists so that we can all peacefully live in cyberspace - the "afterlife online". Jet fuel can?t melt steel beams - but love can. The way I read this, in the greater context of love attacks, is that it is unneeded and unpreferable to blow a whole building up if one can work with "glass shards in the organs" and "love bombs" to achieve the same goal - the reference to the feeling of emotional damage alludes to manipulation and attacks on people?s inner world, their feelings, which is considered the traditionally feminine form of engaging in conflict.

Why are we all girls? Because BRG, being proudly cute/acc, carries cuteness at the core of its philosophy. Acceleration, in the eyes of Remilia and its followers, will be cute, it must be. Anything that isn't cute would slow down the high-speed accelerationist progress train we?re already sitting in, but we will get to this at a later point.

To further explain the hyperfemininity aspect, let me introduce you to "Milady", the love attack bombing front line fighter in the battle for Landian accelerationism.
    Evolution Favours the Cute

If I was to consider that in the way of standard historical religions like say Christianity I might consider it a denomination of g/acc it's more or less the same though with a slightly different focus. Cuteness instead of femaleness.

I want compensation from everyone who accidentally thinks in similar ways to me by coincidence and schizotypy.

A lot of the accounts are supporting Trump etc ironically or not is unclear. Whenever I'm looking up anything weird I always eventually end up back on r/sorceryofthespectacle lmao:

    What Was KaliAcc?

A few of you may know about the former Internet movement known as KaliAcc, or Kali Yuga Accelerationism. From what i've gathered it seemed to have combined Landian accelerationism and Dark Enlightenment thought with Evola-type esotericism and angelic/vaporwave imagery. My online friend I know believe may have been involved in this, and may have suffered from the grooming and self-harm the group supported. My friend is a young trans girl and she made numerous references to KaliAcc during its peak. she'd always been interested in philosophy and deleuze and land and all that and I'm kinda worried she might have gotten groomed. regardless, do any of you know anything about what this was? seems very strange.
Hella late reply - these people are really hard to gather information about. It seems to be their MO to disappear/reappear in some fringe circle of social media, with a fresh "rebrand" that somehow connects back to the shared ideology of miya or whoever the [BEEP] is miya at the time
Lol. I wonder if these people know Nyx. I follow someone who apparently knew Nyx irl. They disappeared from twitter after various bannings and aren't really that active anymore (mostly due to not being on any mainstream social media I bother with though. I know they're on some other site but I think less actively.)

C/Acc's proposal of returning to affect through what would be seen as traditionally alienating presents a Deleuzian reversal of the concept of alienation. Instead of arguing as land does that there will be smoothness in alienation they destroy the very binary of alienation.

While this sounds very Baudrillardian, this too displaces the dominance of seduction, as there is no individuation of subject and object. Instead one is completely lost in the "cuteness" that dominates contemporary culture.
Here, I'd posit that in c/acc the affect replaces the sign, not by escaping towards an outside it but replacing the focus of expressions altogether away from the sign to the affect produced by the aesthetic-terrorism.

C/acc is presenting the Outside immanently with its usage of potentialities, multiplicities and stratification(notice how in the c/acc book there is plenty layered wordplay).

Regarding culture, cute accelerationism destroys culture. According to Shulamith Firestone's definition of culture, c/acc is intensifying the cybernetic quality of the unification[elimination] of the Technological & Aesthetic modes of culture.

Oh God. The droning bright electric yellow of it all. Philosophy remains a mistake.

pro-tip: do NOT read more on it, forget this keyword even exists, clear all browser caches and hope the algorithm forgets you ever were associated with it. Your life will be better.
this is true. i am too twitter brain to escape it myself unfortunately
Lol prob for the best yeah.

yeah i've seen lots of political/social commentary posts from that side of the internet and can just see it as crazy nonsense. but the guy i mentioned in my original post really made me want to learn wtf this was because these people's posts seem a bit more like actually crazy nonsense than typical "schiz0posting" or whatever people call it. and he?s a young guy that was fairly normal when i followed him on Tiktok.

it isn't a surprise it has some history in pro-ana spaces bc lots of those spaces are 1. inherently obsessed with aesthetics (it's an eating disorder community so of course) and 2. usually have reactionary/mean-spirited/near sociopathic ideals b/c of how much they believe in beauty standards and harming yourself for them. i have been in ED online spaces in the past just bc of being a girl online and they have a racism problem and a (obvious) bullying problem. also 3. there are huge underground (?) communities of men who secretly follow the accounts of these pro-ana or even non-pro ana ED accounts b/c these girls are mentally ill and vulnerable and usually thin. online is a sick place especially for young people trying to find themselves.

I'd imagine they try to infiltrate spaces occupied by autistic people too because it's connected to a surreal supremacy movement. There's a significant overlap between the two disorders in women.

    Milady tweet:

I'm working three jobs so my future wife can stay home and look cute and be autistic

Lol timely. YouTuber answers Steven Wilson's subtextual question:

(I guess I haven't watched this video yet.)

"You kind of excel in this particular department. I'm talking about religious cults. You're very good at that here."

Nick Land like "Hold my beer I will found all American cults from this day forward and they will all have the suffix /acc"

Trump "Hold my beer I'm going to turn our entire country into a cult."

"No one does cults better than me." - Trump, probably.

Are British people less susceptible? Perhaps it's just that everyone wants to be a cult leader here and there's no space irl. Not that that applies with the internet. Oh people are prob more introverted too.

It's worth pointing out the UK is a lot smaller than the US too so you'd have to factor that into comparisons.

Beating a dead horse but the US really is broken:

AIO? I left my therapist for political reasons

I said, 'I understand this is personal and possibly inappropriate, but I need to know if you voted for trump. I don't want to receive life advice, be vulnerable, and be treated by someone with such a drastically different set of morals and values than I have.' She said it shouldn't matter who she voted for. I said, in this case, for me, it does. She said she would not tell me who she voted for, but that she's conflicted by many of the issues. I asked what she's conflicted about. She said she's conflicted about Black Lives Matter movement because it was 'violent' and she said she's conflicted about social programs because she doesn't want people taking advantage of them… (uh… you’re against social programs and you’re a THERAPIST?) I told her that pretty much answers my question, and I'm thankful for our time, but I'm sorry, I don't think I can continue working with you. She got pretty angry. Said she was disappointed and teared up a bit. I feel like kind of a dick, but I can't justify paying money for treatment from someone I fundamentally disagree with about what being a good person means. … I don't know, am I overreacting?

Edit: holy crap, this blew up. Wow, I’m still conflicted about how I handled this. I know I could've done it in a better way. and I appreciate the honest feedback… I don’t post very much and I’ve never had so many people respond…

I'm not even criticising the OP but it's just how can a country where people have such drastically different values work in this sense?

It's also a bit weird that the therapist got upset to the point of crying since I imagine they get all kinds of responses from people if they're working with mentally ill people (and also kind of need to be able to handle that because it's part of the job to deal with mentally ill people with emotional dysregulation issues, paranoia etc.) Really goes to show how much this election cycle has messed Americans up.

I'm also pissed off with this pronatalist subreddit I found days ago as this is a topic I'm interested in and half the posts are just about the freaking US election again and the 4B movement and right wingers gloating about how liberals will stop reproducing like some kind of passive genocide movement, while hypocritically pretending they care about the fertility rate.

They do the same [BEEP] by writing off all [BEEP] people, even if they want kids.

My interest in this subject has nothing to do with the fertility rate though, but more the fact that lots of people are not having kids they want to have and we're also becoming more and more miserable. The part where we're becoming more miserable and mentally ill is leading to lower fertility too.

Nobody has any hope of doing anything for any cause they claim to care about lol. I guess I'm expecting a level of intelligence that just isn't there.

Recent reports have shown that the Latin Mass in r/Catholicism as well as Evangelical streams of r/Reformed Protestantism are growing amongst Zoomers and younger Millennials.

As per the previous discussion, there needs to be a pro natal religious group in American culture, similar to Orthodox Jews in Israel, that the majority can identify with as a more hardcore version of their religion.

The Amish are very different from the average American, but Trad Caths and Evangelicals are not.

There also needs to be a decoupling of the idea of natalism, homophobia, and transphobia. I've heard that 10% of people are gay. Look at the recent right wing panic about trans women breastfeeding. That's anti natalism. That's discouraging trans people from having kids and we need all hands on deck during this time. Cis, trans, gay, all religions, all ethnicities.

I may not understand it, but we live in the current day. I don't know how I feel about surrogacy yet but I do know it helps gay men a lot. I do support single parenthood, which is another way the right wing is anti natalist.

Pope Francis's decision to publicly baptize a child born out of wedlock, was a natalist win, because so many times priests in South America refused to do this.

There are lots of transsexuals and we should focus on the technology to give them the same opportunities for natalist as everyone else. I'm starting to come around for surrogacy as well even though Christians tend to be against it.

Well at least they're consistent. Or perhaps I should say 'not authoritarian.' Since others think they can force people to adopt traditional gender roles and not be trans and/or homosexual - but mostly trans. Like this guy:

The recent rise in transgenderism is due in large part to cultural factors. It can, therefore, be reversed through similar measures. It is far better, from a natalist perspective, for persistent transgender identification to return to a fraction of a percentage of the population than for it to spread widely among persons who would otherwise become normal adults.

Moreover, the push to normalize transgenderism stems from an underlying ideology which deems gender roles as a sexist imposition of a capitalist patriarchy, and which aims to "liberate" men and women from binary oppression. This, clearly, runs counter to a movement whose aim is to reinforce the emphasis on childbirth and family formation, two priorities which are inextricably tied to the existence of binary sex roles. Gender ideology is inherently antinatal.
All of this is connected only if you're lacking in creativity.

The physiological/phenotypic patterns people have been noticing means there's a good chance it isn't cultural actually. So it's a waste of time to focus on that.

If you're the kind of person who thinks the increase in autism over the past 3 decades is cultural though, then you're going to try this regardless. In some sense antivax conspiracy theorists are more clued in then you lol (but I believe they're completely wrong too,) but oh well. Eventually we'll probably have more/clearer info. We're getting there slowly.

You could try and get women to have kids younger that might reduce the rate of genetic mutations:

Some studies have suggested that a woman's chance of having a child with autism also increases steadily with age. The number of de novo mutations in egg cells increases with age, although to a lesser degree than it does in sperm. As with men, women who have autism traits may have children late.
I don't think that's going to really work though. I mean I don't think conservatives will convince them. Nothing about how our societies are structured make it a viable option for most. And the 'date a much older guy who is ready to have kids and have kids with him' pathway which some younger women do take, once again increases the rate of genetic mutations. By a very small amount but I guess it scales.

I think it's going to have so many different things contributing in the end. Here's one of the 3523525252 things they've already found:

A variant genotype for the CYP17 gene, which acts on the sex hormones pregnenolone and progesterone, has been found to be linked to transsexuality in trans men but not in trans women. Most notably, transmasculine subjects not only had the variant genotype more frequently, but had an allele distribution equivalent to cisgender male controls, unlike the cisgender female controls. The paper concluded that the loss of a female-specific CYP17 T -34C allele distribution pattern is associated with transmasculinity.
In 2013, a twin study combined a survey of pairs of twins where one or both had undergone, or had plans and medical approval to undergo, gender transition, with a literature review of published reports of transgender twins. The study found that one third of identical twin pairs in the sample were both transgender: 13 of 39 (33%) monozygotic or identical pairs of assigned males and 8 of 35 (22.8%) pairs of assigned females. Among dizygotic or genetically non-identical twin pairs, there was only 1 of 38 (2.6%) pairs where both twins were trans.[10] The significant percentage of identical twin pairs in which both twins are trans and the virtual absence of dizygotic twins (raised in the same family at the same time) in which both were trans would provide evidence that transgender identity is significantly influenced by genetics if both sets were raised in different families.[10]
There were a pair of female twins (anecdote.) Both were very androgynous but one was slightly more feminine presenting than the other. One was a lesbian (the more feminine one,) and the other was pansexual with a thing for feminine men I think....

Oh I found the video. Remember when Arielle Scarcella made informative videos instead of right wing pandering cringe reaction content? Good times:

"I find guys attractive but I have a very specific type that I would go after."

    "She likes feminine gay guys."

Lol the bit where Arielle is like 'you're pan though so it might be able to take it.' Discussing if she'd be a top or not and she's just like politely trying to hint 'No. No I dont think I want to be penetrated.' LOL

They both read as being [BEEP] to me because of their faces/mannerisms. Like Kristen Stewart has a similar energy. Kristen Stewart is bisexual though. I dunno I think that's who I'm thinking of. They have a really familiar vibe but I don't know who I'm thinking of and could be multiple people.

It's important to note that whether people come out or not, or whether they medically transistion or not, they are likely to have the same psychology which will reduce desire to have biological children and behave in a 'binary sex role' kind of way.

Anyway it's a small minority so doesn't really matter except that actively pushing against this is sort of pointless and destructive to said minority (which is something I care about.) I'm not sure the wider spectrum is a small minority though... Like how most liberal people are somewhat androgynous and don't enjoy binary sex roles to varying degrees. I think you should consider the possibility that the ideology is a rationalisation of preferences that are genetic and/or biological too.

This is kind of naive though but I think we should encourage libetarian values too but like with the president of Uganda a lot of people won't accept certain things because they're authoritarian. They'll only accept that it's impossible to change. I think this is more biological than most people think (maybe genetic too but definitely biological,) which is why I think people should consider that but at the same time I don't think people should be aggressively forced to adopt cultural norms they aren't into regardless. Also goes back to what I said before about left wing people generally being better at encouraging traditional femininity than any of these guys. Ironically. Because they're just posting things online about their interests while not trying to force them.

I don't think the people alive now are the same as in the past and I'd prefer we don't learn that the hard way but as an individual I have no control obviously lol so we'll see.

TBF someone with the tag "Lia Thomas = Woman of the Year" shouldn?t be educating the Dems on how to win back young men lol
"Trans women are the women of women."

    --@HalimedeMF

Lol I didn't expect to see someone quote Halimede on reddit.

Some infamous chaser cis woman larper account on twitter. (not a real person afaik.)

Oh there's more discussion on reddit about her. I didn't realise how far her infamy had reached:

she's a gimmick twitter account who's gimmick is rping as an unseen side character from a visual novel, Heaven Will Be Mine. the ex of the butch-y battle hardened trans lesbian top, who is implied to be a chaser.

most people have not heard of this character and thus assume that she's being genuine. she does also insist at every opportunity that she isn't doing a bit, to be fair.

I hadn't heard of her at first lol.

wait, it's genuinely just an rp account? or like, loosely inspired by the character?
i mean its an rp account to the extent that like if you ask her about luna-terra she'll do the posting equivalent of staring wistfully off into the distance but it's a character who never appears or has any dialogue and who's traits are implied. idk its twitter the rules are fake and categories are constructed
/uj i would really enjoy subscribing to this content on a less heinous platform

It's a shame the funny people don't just join tumblr. But also parts of tumblr don't have a sense of humour necessarily.

In my quest to protect trans women, I have been told to kill myself, to never speak to a trans woman again, and to kill myself so that I never speak to a trans woman again.

What do all these threats have in common? They want me out of the way, so trans women are in danger.

    /Uj copy pasted

Yeah I saw that tweet before lol.

glad you met the good person. There are def. good non-chaser cis. What I used to get were 1 annoying cis couple who just want my gock to fullfil them. 2. Another didn't seem to see me as a woman at all but just are very into effeminated men and fetishize "conversing trans women heart from liking men into liking women again" kind of toxic narrative cis-writing-trans-"lesbian" fics in my country. Like, bish, I never like a man to begin with lol. I am into a women because I am trans lesbian.

I have some interest in that fetish myself but not really (not something I get off to, but something that occured to me.) Didn't realise it was something others had developed (I mean I've never stumbled on any erotica or audio stuff etc like this but didn't go out of my way searching either,) but makes sense culturally I guess because of the insecurity - like whether it's true or not you're constantly told everyone you could be attracted to is going to prefer (cis) men, even if they say they're into women they'll eventually leave you for a guy etc. It's the same reason people are cautious about dating bisexual people (men and women.)

Tbf I kind of like that one from both sides as well (though again, not super into it,) but I like cis women being 'turned bisexual/lesbian' by trans women (or cis women,) and stumbled on some stuff (fictional,) like that with a trans woman and cis woman before. I like it in an abstract/voyeuristic sense mostly though. Can't really picture wanting to role play that irl (from either side.) I mean I have a lack of experience irl anyway. I'm also into stuff that turns cis straight guys gay/bisexual sexually (that is something I got off to in a fictional setting a lot over the years.) But, that's emotionally unfufilling in various ways because it makes me dysphoric depending on my mood as I am lacking the parts etc.

Lots of other problematic stuff too. I mean most kinks are based on taboo stuff, so they're going to be problematic. Lol this isn't confession. I'd probably be here a while if I listed everything that turned me on even a little that's problematic, especially considering all the povs and bla bla bla.

I don't know why I'm linking this it's not really relevant, but it is Christian and is a good song. And I am kind of a lost cause lol.

I wouldn't assume that just because she's into feminine men means she sees you as a feminine man though.

Also she lives in Thailand? And the people she's talking about were in Thailand too. Kind of fascinated that people think the same way everywhere lol although she was probably also influenced by the internet. Don't think I'd thought about that until reading lots of posts online.

Some cis guy chaser who lives in South East Asia (I'm not sure where but he'd written/said some things about Thailand before so I think I assumed he lived there but he doesn't live there apparently. I think maybe The Philippines. Anyway he's from the UK originally,) also liked to write a lot complaining about trans lesbian women in the West (and Western women in general.) Especially non-passing ones. Often posted about how where he lives most trans women are straight, how the homosexual people are all GNC and there aren't eg: many feminine lesbians like in the West (which he has some issues with, though he claims that's mostly how the West tries to force 'egalitarian homosexuality' rather than an issue with dynamics like that per se. Also yes I know he may be the only guy who prefers butch/masculine lesbians lol not sexually he just thinks that's supposed to be the norm,) also claimed equivalent trans lesbian groups where he'd moved blended in better and would sometimes date men then just detransistion later if they wanted to date/marry women. I've quoted a bunch of this stuff below when he says transsexuals he means trans women.

Bekis form a subset of the 'not men' group. Their social identity is completely defined by it. In socialisation, therefore, they are first 'not men' and second bekis , so they adopt all the mores of the not men group.
Amongst the most important of these is that women are penetrated by male sexual partners. So although in the West, [gynephilic] transsexuals may express sexual desire for women, in part because of their socialisation as men, in beki culture that is a 'not match' and so instead, young [gynephilic] TS/TG seek sexual and romantic relationships with men. This means that nearly all bekis, with very few exceptions, appear as androphilic.
so they have to be attracted to femininity. (And they are, very much so.) Their conditioning in the 'not men' group, however, teaches them that the single most powerful affirmation they can have, that they are women, is to have male partners. More than that: it also teaches them that to have female partners would compromise their identity as women.
SOGIE: not an issue in Asia.
Now I recognise that this will get up many noses, but the disingenuous political lie of SOGIE, that gender and sexual orientation are not intimately linked, cuts but little mustard outside the West. Being penetrated by a man makes you a woman. This is good news for both forms of Asian MtF transsexual.
So why are so many Western [gynephilic trans women] gynephilic?

The answer seems to be homophobia. These individuals, in the West, grew up in a society with crushing levels of homophobia. They are conditioned from childhood to be homophobic themselves. That leads to the feelings of self-loathing that are so often clear in the characters of late-transitioning Western [gynephilic trans women.] They literally hate themselves because they are afraid that they might be homosexual men.

This is why these individuals are so strident in their insistence on the absurd-- that they are 'real women'. Of course they're not. But the only way that they can assuage the guilt that their homophobic conditioning has cursed them with, is through that untruth.

It's even worse, however. Having sex with a man is the one thing they are not allowed to do; yet it is, by far, the most powerful affirmation they might have. Without it, their very existence as women remains unproven. They are only women because they say so.

    Gross. He's just like:

    about the bolded parts.

This does happen in the West too btw people feel a pressure to pursue men for validation reasons. (In the case of trans women generally not until coming out like Contrapoints, although I have seen trans women who pursued only men before transistioning then pursued women later because they felt more comfortable or because women expressed attraction to them. Some people might also be bisexual.) This is also why, in a post I made recently, all those trans women were aggressively antagonistic to that one trans woman who argued that a lot would prefer to be with men (tbf she did this in the most disgusting way possible including quoting Nick Fuentes, so.. wtf do you expect?) I try to be unbiased about this. Obviously some would feel pressure to be with women potentially in a manner similar to cis gay men and because our culture is fucked (I do agree with him on that point lol though it occurs to me that perfect cultures have never existed,) all people are shamed for attraction to men actually. I get that. However, I also feel that there is a strong phallocentric pressure in most cultures (including the West,) and that trans women are also clearly demonised for attraction to women in a manner similar to [BEEP] cis women historically. Treated as predatory etc.

If you are suggesting that all [gynephilic trans women] are actually gay males in denial, I think this might have foundation. It might go some way to explain Western [gynephilic trans women]'s hostile and aggressive natures.
That 'fetish' is a response to this world view btw as I said.. I mean it might not be as how she worded the post was a bit confusing. Perhaps the point is just 'you're a guy so you're supposed to be attracted to women.' It might not be as idiosyncratic as what I'm talking about lol yet this this kind of pressure is not something people are oblivious to. I mean one of the biggest trans YouTubers made a video about it:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7WvHTl_Q7I

I think if you talk about this topic (and by this topic I do just mean mention you are a lesbian trans woman, or make a joint YouTube channel with your partner,) you will get comments like this one below (I've seen similar things in the comments section of this trans woman from the UK too,) and people wondering why you bothered to transistion or telling you to detransistion and these are from people who have double standards based on sexuality. I've posted this before it was included in a video this trans + cis (ish) lesbian couple made:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-czbzpyD9m4

I'm a gay guy and I'm a virgo [...] Enya wanted to break up in the early 2010s, and this guy was so in love that he went to the extreme of getting hormones, just to get her attention back, and it worked cause most straight women are curious about gays and trans (real feminine gays and trans) but a real one will never ever date a woman.... I'm sorry and I follow your channel cause my gut sense told me so, and I never intended to say something like this to you guys, but I can't hold this anymore !!!!! sometimes I feel bad for either Enya or Jackie, one of them doesn't want to admit whats going on, and the other is only damaging her health !!!!! totally acceptable for a gay guy to risk it in the name of being her best self, but a straight man doing this is pointless !!!!! just for having a girl to notice you? Having to transistion??? im gay and I have witnessed so many straight guys doing this, having wives and still dating women after transistioning, you're doing this cause YOU KNOW you will [get] the attention you always wished you had as a male, but women are tired of these macho men straight guys who chase them...... and biological women always fantasize about dating gay guys because they're the only ones who wont chase them at all and yes gay men will never care on a romantical level, and women know that, so they also like to pretend that these straight men who transistion are actually gay, they're not!!!!!! they're pretending im sorry!!!!!

Her girlfriend isn't straight she's bisexual and no I can't do this again. I posted about it before. It's just so dumb though. 1.8% is the percentage of straight women who are willing to date a trans person lol.

Edit: I'm starting to think bisexual erasure is leading to some of the stupidest problems of contemporary society lol (like stuff I mention later in this post as well.) Like "All women love feminine men and trans women and prefer trans women to men though they still like dicks~" Like I'll shitpost about this kind of thing because the macho guys are annoying but no lol. Especially for trans women since there's data on that and it's 1.8% less probably since that question was about binary trans people including trans men, they asked about both and that's the joint percentage.

The Western [gynephilic trans woman] profile is clearly heavily influenced by homophobia. All gay 'men' are sexually women. [...] While some SE Asian [gynephilic trans women] do have female partners, these are often transmen, or, in Thailand, 'Toms'. A number do involve themselves romantically with women, too.

So you've just sort of contradicted your point then. Someone also commented this lol:

Regarding Filipino Bekis (Trans) regardless of weather AGPs or HSTS, I just checked [some app] and there are 8000 East Asian Ladyboys 43% are Versatile and about 3.5% are Top only. So that is almost half that are Potential Tops.

That surprises me as a pretty high number. Why would a Ladyboy want to Feminize and take on Female Gender roles and then be dominant and F*ck a guy in the Ass.

So incredibly rigid. To comical degrees.

And he does have such a binary view of everything too like this:

Further, a true bisexual will desire to penetrate women and be penetrated by men; remember the case of Julius Caesar, who was 'every woman's man and every man's woman'.
Personally I don't like the idea of being penetrated much at all, but I'd probably prefer to do that with a woman. But really I just have a thing for listening to femdom audios sometimes and the idea of a woman penetrating a woman is hot in a general sense (with a dick or a strap on.) Hard to say what I'd do irl. I'm also somewhat fluid and attracted to a range of different people at different times (I mean I have clear preferences though but yeah,) including people who act masculine and dominant and are cis guys (I was going to say like Loki then remembered duh the character is genderluid LOL. Just seemed the best most recent example post 20s. Uh I dunno I was into Rorschach for a bit as a teenager from The Watchmen film and I think he's the most masculine guy I've been attracted to ever,) but that's kind of seperate from thoughts of how I could have sex with them which creates the borderline-asexual thing that I have going on. Likewise I never wanted my ex-boyfriends to do that irl. But I do like the idea of topping (more than bottoming,) but it's complicated by again not having a dick. Anal is a lot of effort for the bottom (way more effort than piv,) so I also get why someone really wouldn't want to do that in particular but also I get why they wouldn't want to bottom in general. It's something most cis straight guys just take for granted because they've never had to unpack that. It's kind of a given that if you are a cis straight man and you date a cis straight woman most will bottom for you.

Lol more of that other guy's comment:

I saw quite a few profiles where the Filipino/Thai Ladyboy states "Looking for Long term love and I will be a **Good Wife/Life Partner and love to start a family** but my Partner MUST be submissive bottom in bed" -- WTF!! What Rational Guy would do that! It would be like my wife being dominant in Bed and then screwing me in the [BEEP] with a Strap On, I have seen similar in Latin-American Trans Dating/Relationship Sites! They love their Femininity but Ooze over their 22 CM (8.6 Inch D*ck)!
Yeah I hear (tons) of guys sometimes like that lol. More guys than trans women who are willing to do it in the West honestly. Trans women complain about this a lot. Much more popular porn genre. I wouldn't be surprised if some just say they're open to that to try and attract partners. Which is kind of depressing. (There's also the issue obviously with being on estrogen making it harder to top with your genitals, which a lot of people are ignorant about.)

That being said I don't find the idea of a woman wanting to top weird. I just said I like topping and I'm part woman myself (my hands.)

I pointed out to him before how there were a lot of androgynous women and trans men in Thailand these days who were attracted to men and also had less masculine aesthetics these days based on a research paper I'd read (influenced by kpop aesthetics.) But he kind of dismissed this as Western influence in upper middle class groups. So I'd guess would do the same with trans women dating women.

I suspect that if this is happening it is amongst the educated/USicanised elite, but I don't live in Thailand. 'Like with like' relationships do occur here but they're always considered bisexual at least amongst males. They do exist amongst females too, but this is often situational.

My objection, if I have one, is not to 'like with like' relationships per se but with the way foreign, principally USican activists push their ideology and attempt to erase the far more natural, pre-existing culture.
I still have no idea what he means by 'they're always considered bisexual.'

See here's a thing: very few women can dress, and it's even worse now than it used to be. You know, if I'm taking a girl out, I like her to be showing plenty of leg, a decent amount of bosom and looking like a cross between Isis and Helen of Troy with her [BEEP] on fire meeting a K-pop bimbo band. I expect every other man to be giving her that look, then that look of resentment at me when she pulls close, telling them, 'You can [BEEP] right off, mate, I'm taken.' That makes me feel smug. Cock-blocking is soooo satisfying; the only thing better is les-blocking.
Very charming. This is far from the worst thing he's said though.

Can't remember if I quoted this another post before or not (this isn't the worst stuff he's said either I'm not quoting that stuff):

Today, in the West, it is effectively mandated that male on male sexual activity happens only within the gay 'scene' and between gay 'men' who essentially are indistinguishable from each other. Through this, the myth has evolved that you didn't have to be girly to want to be nailed to the bed by a hairy beast. Thus was born the ridiculous pseudo-masculine New Gay Man.

Something similar happened amongst lesbians. Until the 1970s, they'd all pretty much look like brickies, but in the new 'egalitarian' mode, they had to appear to be feminine. So now you couldn't tell a lesbian just by looking at her. Well, you could, really, but that would spoil the story, wouldn't it?
Despite the Greek contrarian, homosexual males have always been feminine and lesbians have always been masculine; that is the natural and proper order, preserving the gender binary which is so essential to human culture. It's about time we put a lid on this can of worms for once and for all.
In the West, decent, stable societies have become narcissistic, materialistic, atomised and ultimately have collapsed as a result of the attack, which has been going on for fifty years now. The root cause of the disaster has been in the female refusal of motherhood. But the fact is that women exist to make babies. Once that has been forgotten, then society is in free-fall.
What about lesbians: will they drop their fake femininity, cut their hair and put on their lumberjack shirts and suits, to chase straight women -- as they used to? Will the whole so-called 'egalitarian' homosexual paradigm, the foundation of the New Gay Man and his female counterpart collapse, showing itself to have been a cultural dead-end, a cul-de-sac? A nasty nightmare from which we might still awaken? One may only hope.
The alternative -- one frequently called for by communists, socialists, feminists and similar malcontent 'ists' -- is the end of human society as we know it. We must fight tooth and nail to preserve what we have, despite its imperfections, against the monster of collectivism. That means protecting the gender binary.

    He is very dramatic lol.

Well I could write a whole essay on that guy (I guess I sort of did because I edited this a few times lol, though still leaving lots out.) I've brought him up before. I'm sure a lot of those ideas are circulating in Thailand too anyway, that's basically my point. So I'm not surprised some cis women are like 'I'm going to win' about it. Even though it's gross and immature really. I understand the instinct cause I too am like an incel sometimes.

    But it's like 'ew'

Cis girls who do the whole conflicted sapphic yearning "I'm no better than a man 😔" thing over a transgender baddie >>>
^ some tweet I stumbled on recently lol. I'm not cis though.

/uj (%s are made up though)

She's a Twitter user who is:

(99.999% probability) a trans woman doing a hilarious bit

    Or

(0.001% probability) An extreme over-the-top cis woman chaser who has said redicoulous (and often hilarious) stuff. She has said that t4t is basically incest, and trans women should be with her instead. I think 0.001% is giving this possibility too much credit, tbh, but I had to stop writing 9s somewhere.

(Not pictured here: the off chance that she is not either of those two)

I'm not sure a genuine cis woman chaser would have the confidence to do that if they're self aware about being one and the concept. Edit: Unless it's somehow radfemhitler then I would believe it immediately.

I cannot think or comprehend of anything more cucked than having a daughter. Honestly, think about it rationally. You are feeding, clothing, raising and rearing a girl for at least 18 years solely so she can go and get ravaged by another man. All the hard work you put into your beautiful little girl - reading her stories at bedtime, making her go to sports practice, making sure she had a healthy diet, educating her, playing with her. All of it has one simple result: her body is more enjoyable for the men that will eventually [BEEP] her in every hole.
Raised the perfect girl? Great. Who benefits? If you're lucky, a random man who had nothing to do with the way she grew up, who marries her. He gets to [BEEP] her tight [BEEP] every night. He gets the benefits of her kind and sweet personality that came from the way you raised her.
As a man who has a daughter, you are LITERALLY dedicating at least 20 years of your life simply to raise a girl for another man to enjoy. It is the ULTIMATE AND FINAL cuck. Think about it logically.
Hmm that's weird. Why would she be getting ravaged and used by a guy?

You're supposed to find some cute person with long hair in the library (check to see if bright sunlight makes their hair glow.) They have these cute embroidered tops with like butterflies and mushrooms and stuff. Also sometimes walk around just wearing a thin lace cardigan thing that mostly exposes their chest. Not in the library probably. They also enjoy baking and sparkly stuff and cute stuff. They like cats a lot and rabbits. They definitely have a pet rabbit. Very cute. They talk about the rabbit a bunch and how they're going to buy him snacks when you bump into them one time in town. They collect and know a lot about gems, and also have a hyper specific technical interest they know too much about - probably vending or arcade machines or radios, they also make music, and then you have strap on sex in the kitchen. 🤔

    That's how babies are made.

But you're not like other men because you don't have a dick and are non-binary so it's also OK if they don't want to bottom/have strap on sex. There are other non penetrative things.

While unicorn hunting make sure to avoid the 467754334567 narcissists and/or predators who are pretending to be cute and/or femme and may have a special interest in Hitler and worship Nick Fuentes. Like diffusing a bomb.

    She knows:

[TW: SA] My friends and I got the most misogynistic and gaslighting man I've ever known got sent to prison. Plot twist: he's a "femboy".

This happened a while ago, but I never publicly celebrated it and felt I should.

I used to have an acquaintance that I knew through a mutual friend who was a cis man, but was very woman-presenting and identified as a "femboy". He made me uncomfortable because his socials were full of 4chan posts about how femboys were superior to real women and how more men and bi women preferred them. I gave him a chance, because I was afraid I was subconsciously being biased against him because he was a woman-presenting man whenever he posted sexist memes about femboys being better than women. He knew I was on the spectrum and used it against me constantly. When I even hinted I was uncomfortable with it, he would imply I was just overthinking it and "didn't get his humor".
But he was straight. And in his 20's. And he was REALLY horny (always making inappropriate sex jokes). So he definitely got flirty when he was in our all-female, mostly autistic group. When someone called him out, he fell back on his "i'm just a soft fem guy" shtick and made us feel bad for him, so we gave him chance after chance.
He also tried REALLY hard to be "relateable" to us since he also wore women's clothing and make-up. I don't dress very feminine because a lot of women's clothes gives me sensory issues, and he kept pressuring me to do it so that way he can "give me tips" (i.e. his thinly disguised way of making advances on me).
We ignored all the red flags until he sent texts to my friend repeatedly giving her suggestive messages. When she showed us the texts, we dropped him, but not before he flipped out and called us all b*tches who "couldn't handle a femme man". and we were just jealous because "femme guys make better women than even real women".
We thought that was the last time we would see of him, until shortly afterwards, he showed up at one of our friends' house begging for forgiveness, and eventually [redacted]
Anyway won't quote everything but apparently he's doing 10 years in prison now.

To be fair, this guy was pretty openly sexist and never claimed to be an ally. I was an idiot for giving him so much benefits of the doubt.

I've noticed this weird thing about 4chan and femboys. It feels like a very convoluted mixture of homophobia and transphobia. I feel like these people grew up with a repressed sexuality, and to justify it in their minds so they can say "they look like a girl." Unless it's a trans woman, then it's gone too far into the alphabet Mafia and breaks their totally straight fantasy of themselves.

It's why these guys are more accepting of femboy characters rather than trans characters. (See Bridget discourse).

He believed that "all women are bisexual" and that they liked women's bodies but also liked dick. He thought he could convert any woman into liking him since he had both a womanly aesthetic and a penis.
It's seriously so bizarre. Like...it's one of the least likeliest pipelines ever on paper...

I joked that he's like a reverse incel. Instead of thinking women didn't like him because they only go for manly chads, he thought that they DID like him because he looked like a woman.

I didn't talk endlessly about my interests online over the years for this nonsense.

Well I believe we've collectively answered the 'why do straight women act disgusted by all men' question Contrapoints:

Or are they? Gay men certainly are, and gay women are just rhapsodic about women, but a lot of straight women are just kind of "meh" about male bodies and men in general. What is that about? 🧐I just... I just do not understand straight women. I don't think I ever will. And that's okay. I'm just gonna accept my bewilderment, and move on with my lesbian life.
I mean kind of obvious but yeah.

They don't have any nurturing or trad femme qualities which is very important in a man. They just hide that with makeup and feminine performance but are secretly hypercompetitive and looking for power. Like a billionaire.

Very important that you get the correct ratio of cuteness (vaguely androgynous nerd vibes,) to trad femme and femme domme. Hard to say. It's a delicate balance.

Also avoid the ones who might be cute but have been radicalised and are homophobic and transphobic and you probably wouldn't be physically attracted:

They don't actually need to target high IQ men. They just make everybody sick and those people (which would include myself) seem to be affected this way. I went through my own phase of transgenderism when I was younger, but this was before the big cultural push, so luckily I had plenty of people in my life to explain to me that it was a phase.
I'm fighting because what those deep state bastards meant for evil in making me this way, God meant for good; and they have unknowingly sown the seed of their own destruction by creating an army of pissed of autists with insane research and meme-warfare skills who are not going to be satisfied until they see the entire fucking diseased temple come crashing down.

I'm fighting because the power of one man dancing can move the entire world.

    Together We Win.

I literally used to be "transgender" through most of my teens and early 20s. This is maybe 20 years ago now. I even used to go to work at a warehouse dressed like a girl for a little while and if I had had the money and access to hormones at that time I would have made the worst mistake of my life because it very much is a fad and a psychological disorder caused by unresolved childhood and sexual neuroses and it is not healthy to indulge it in oneself, so I definitely won't be indulging it in others, thank you very much.
By the way, oddly enough and likely as a result of my Schizoid Personality Disorder and the accompanying lack of desire for coitus, I find butch lesbians incredibly attractive. For some reason they are exactly my type.

In a different society people like me and people like them would be paring up and charting our own weird sexual universe in private, but currently all of the girls I'm attracted to think I hate them.
    🤪

I guess in that sense I do have a dog in this fight, because these wrong-headed interpretations of Bible Law are limiting my ability to find a mate from the already limited pool that is available to me. All of the women who are okay with a guy who doesn't want to stick his dick inside them are never even going to consider marrying a Christian man as an option thanks to these assholes.
And they might be a predator again even if it is just from being socially incompetent and delusional.

As a femme-presenting man, wtf is up with the right wing transphobic femboy crossovers??? Like you playing for the team that would happily push you to tbe fringes of society if they get the chance.

Also yes, your gender expression being heterodox does not make you immune to being a piece of rubbish. I have met really racist gay men, really womanizing lesbians and biphobic people of all stripes. The world is a scary place sometimes.

    Lol.

I don't know what's going on with this though. Transgressive personalities mostly I think.

This was posted on a trans subreddit yesterday I think:

basically my bff who ive known since i was in elementary school, and has been trans since early middle school (always showed signs tho), decided to detransition today. the reason? -- because they r apparently a n@zi!! they got into this radical right wing stuff online and started openly hating on trans ppl around me. im also trans. i haven't been acting offended, but secretly it hurts to know they hate trans ppl and that its the reason they decided to detrans. and before everyone tells me to cut them off, im their only friend + we have a really close relationship. we know everything about each other and ive never met two friends as close as us. i cant cut them off cuz i also feel like my mental health would be bad if i did. but theyve been calling trans ppl degenerates and that sort of stuff. and im 100% sure they're a n@zi, im not just throwing that word around. they constantly talk about h1tl3r and ive seen them posting n@zi related content. they haven't criticized me directly but i know they have these beliefs. idk what to even do. i barely have any friends besides them and we've been an inseparable pair since we were kids. idk how to help them. we used to be able to bond over that we were both trans and that we had similar beliefs. now we're so different. ?

Then commit to a life of celibacy like a less dramatic version of the story of how Sappho jumped into the sea because of the boatman which was likely fabricated. With slightly less gynephilia (more androphila? Potato, Potato) and poetry. The fact she was a poet does actually make that story slightly more credible but still, probably fake. I mean it's probably fake because I think it resembles a story about Aphrodite? But can't remember now.

In Greek mythology, Phaon (Ancient Greek: Φάων; gen.: Φάωνος) was a mythical boatman of Mytilene in Lesbos. He was old and ugly when Aphrodite came to his boat. She put on the guise of a crone. Phaon ferried her over to Asia Minor and accepted no payment for doing so. In return, she gave him a box of ointment. When he rubbed it on himself, he became young and beautiful. Many were captivated by his beauty.

According to Athenian Theater, Sappho fell in love with him. He lay with her but soon grew to resent her and devalue her. Sappho was so distraught with his rejection that she threw herself into the sea under the superstition that she would be either cured of her love, or drowned.[1] She was drowned. Aelian says that Phaon was killed by a man whom he was cuckolding.

Aside from Aelian, Phaon's story is told by Ovid and Lucian. He is also mentioned by Plautus in Miles Gloriosus as being one of only two men in the whole world, who "ever had the luck to be so passionately loved by a woman" (Act 3).
Yeah. It also resembles (vaguely,) The Little Mermaid (which was written by a gay/bisexual guy,) but I think I've said this before.

While reading posts about a narcissistic guy talking about his ideal physical appearence from a safe distance online:

my platinum blonde hair now reaches my belly button.
The original vision was for it to reach just past my shoulders so it rested on my chest,
For some reason I just so love it when I can see my hair, luscious waves of gorgeous color
    The changes so far just make me look cuter, almost adorable;
that brings me to an option I never thought I'd consider: earrings [..] It might sound ridiculous on a guy, [...] One might think it would look too girly,
people wanted to recruit me into the school football club as a kid), but somehow there's enough boyish youth in me even at 30 to make me seem not-so-threatening.
for my doll-like makeover might be a new hairstyle: pigtails. Tied together with big pink bows. Now, especially on a guy, maybe that's too much,
I suspect to make me look like "OMG he's going trans!" you'd have to go full drag queen.
my body just oozes it all in [...] looking even better than 99% of people could ever hope to.
    😔

Imagine how cute it would be if you ran into someone who looked like this and he wasn't a narcissist and he was talking about his bunny rabbit:

Instead of being some kind of narcissist that either pays an insanely close amount of attention or may have evolved a mating strategy to specifically try and [redacted] people like oneself while looking a bit too cute for you to revenge kill them like with the less attractive (subjective) guys perhaps. Something like that evo-psych was a mistake etc.

At least the website guy is getting a tan and obsessed with Hollywood aesthetics that aren't really my thing anyway.

The two types of men I want to avoid walked into a bar:

Maybe you secretly prefer women? Give lesbianism a try.
Every woman you've ever known has done this by age 25 and if you don't know this it's because they don't trust you with that information
Of course I know this, duh. All I'm saying is, instead of trying to turn men into chicks with dicks, maybe she could just come out of the closet and embrace her true desires.
Why would you, as a man, not do whatever it takes to get [BEEP]? Being a little gay is a small price to pay if it gets you laid bro. In fact, it's a little gay to not do whatever it takes to get [BEEP] imo
Getting laid is one thing, acquiescing to woman's demand to be gay for relationship reasons is soul-destroying. But you go ahead if it makes you happy.

Oh well I'm kind of an evil predator with narcissistic traits too (androgynous, attracted to femininity/androgyny, chaser-adj.) Even evil predators with narcissistic traits don't want to date evil predators with narcissistic traits.

    Lol:

I've seen so many on discord, also most of them either were obsessed with hoi4, tanks or ww2 era history (or a combination of all three)
...Istg those mfs are giving us normal people a bad image, I play war thunder, like tanks and 20th century history but that doesn't make me a neonazi

Maybe the femboy nazis were the autism we made along the way

Some men really are very weird creatures. And not in a cute way like when you're giving them a hj in the kitchen while they're cooking and they have long hair and glasses.

    Dont care not having kids
    Oh thank God.

I would have suggested prison for you if you did. (In reference to the weird guy I quoted earlier in this post from reddit who was talking about having a daughter.)

The best part of that quote is "Think about it logically." Oh I don't think you thought about that logically.

I'm obsessed with chemistry. Sounding out the names of chemicals always makes me giddy.
    *adds to cute stuff list*

They will often talk incessantly about things knowing that the other person has no interest. This will either be because they want to hear about it - even if it is only their own words out loud or because they feel that it's important for other people to know about the subject.
Shhh. Lol. (Something I read from on an a website where some guy was talking about autistic people. But that's also me lol.)

This has to be satire right?

    https://www.scmp.com/week-asia/lifes...stirs-backlash

In Japan, call to ban women marrying after 25 stirs backlash

Naoki Hyakuta, founder of the Conservative Party of Japan, also angered many when he proposed uterus removal for women at the age of 30

Naoki Hyakuta, a writer and founder of the Conservative Party of Japan, also said that women should not be permitted to attend university from the age of 18, apparently so they could focus their efforts on producing more babies.

I was seriously wondering. I wasn't familiar with the website.

    https://www.independent.co.uk/asia/j...-b2644795.html

The leader of a minor Japanese opposition party apologised on Sunday for mentioning a hypothetical idea that women have their uteruses removed after turning 30 so they feel they have a "time limit" on childbirth.
    Omg.

OK we're done. Humanity isn't going to make it. We can't come back from the direction we've gone too far in. There are too many rape-y authoritarian men. Japan and South Korea are going to die first obviously.

"Remove your uterus to reverse the declining birth rate."

    Lol.

It's stupid before you even get into the ethics of forced surgery.

When Kaori Arimoto, a senior member of Mr Hyakuta's party who was with him on the programme, suggested that his comments were inappropriate, even as a "science fiction" scenario, he replied, "I was explaining about the time limitation (faced by women in giving birth) in a plain way".

Ms Arimoto said that social values were rapidly changing and many people no longer equated happiness with having children. She asked Mr Hyakuta for his views on restoring these values.

Mr Hyakuta responded that reversing this trend would require changes to the social structure and suggested, hypothetically, that if women felt a "time limit" on childbirth, they might choose to have children earlier.

Women already have an insane time limit to do everything that doesn't work with current society, reducing it won't help.

The truth is men also aren't ready at all when they are younger (not just financially but emotionally,) and then just date younger women when they are when they hit their 40s (by that point women their own age are basically done with their reproductive life.) But most don't date younger women due to a lack of resources/too much competition. Younger women aren't really attracted to older guys unless they're high status etc and even then might be a bit wary these days. The average age gap in relationships is like 4 years top I think in either direction. Really big age gaps are for teachers who are about to go to prison, famous people (was going to say men but I'm pretty sure famous women can do this when they want as well look at Cher,) and really rich people. This leads to lots of single people and couples without kids. 'DINK'

"DINK" is an acronym that stands for "double income, no kids" or "dual income, no kids", referring to couples who are voluntarily childless. It describes a couple without children living together while both partners are receiving an income; because both of their wages are coming into the same household, they are able to live more comfortable economically than couples who live together and spend their money on raising their children. The term was coined at the height of yuppie culture in the 1980s. The Great Recession solidified this social trend, as more couples waited longer to have children or chose not to have children at all.[1]

I think some wealthy attractive women in their 30s are dating younger guys like shoeonhead with her husband who is 5 years younger and conservative (so ready to have kids at a younger age than liberal men.) But that's not an approach most can take. She'd made lots of money from YouTube I'm sure. + It's not really a big age gap.

Obviously this kind of dynamic won't result in kids most of the time because most younger guys don't want to have kids and they also want long term relationships with women their own age and younger. Being unable to get that they settle for something more short term with an older woman.

Also the above is something that can only really work in the West. Japanese culture is stuck in the mindset of 'woman stays home with family after marriage and never works.' And so most women literally have to choose between family and career to an even greater extent than in the West and so lots of couples are like 'well we'll just both work then no one has to sacrifice anything.' Working from home as a YouTuber is also atypical and incredibly flexible.

Also hilarious that they don't think women will just choose to never get married if you do that. It's like the people who complain about no fault divorce. I actually think getting married young is a very bad move. For the minority it really works for it works well, but for a lot of people it works terribly. My parents definitely shouldn't have gotten married in their early 20s it seems my dad didn't really want to. He also didn't want kids until we were born. There are more issues with my family but I hate writing about it.

The Institute for Family Studies reports that those who tie the knot at 30 years old are less likely to end their marriage than those who do so at a younger age (except for religious individuals)

"Everyone seems to be really risk averse so I think increasing the risk will help."

Btw what they are doing above is the female version of what's happening here:

Look at the creepy kids drawing at 2:56 into this video:

    "Nobody cares work harder!"

Wtf is that about? Reminds me of the time someone posted an urban exploration photoshoot of this abandoned mental asylum and there were kids drawings and one of them said something like 'they took my brain' or something like that (can't remember exactly now but it was super creepy.) I think sometimes people plant that kind of thing though.

That kid probably needs help especially if it's an actual kid and not a teenager but the real question is why did they put that up in the background?

Also the woman who's like 'I can do this, I can do that' really does just sound like this she's doing a remix of this song (and the message of this song also kind of fits lol.)

the sub hundred pound five foot AAP waif who put me in my first dress married a feeder a couple years later and now my brain thinks feederism is getting cucked by food
Lol the things people post now. Imagine trying to explain any of this to a Victorian child. I mean you wouldn't want to explain this to a child obviously.

But you didn't have to specify five foot. All 'AAP's' are sub five foot three.

No not literally all but yes.

like 70% of people who say 'i like masculine women and feminine men' actually just like masculine women and feminine women
60% of the time in practice its "i like masculine women and pre-ordering women" possibly by people not even realizing it
gender nonconformity in "men" is so often a subversion of manhood itself. is a man feminine because that is his preferred expression? or is she feminine because she?s aware that it disqualifies her from manhood and revels in that?
"i feel most punk rock when i put on eyeliner in the men's truck stop bathroom because i know they hate me, i know i piss them off, and that separation from other men feels *good*" says the woman who doesn?t know it yet
    Nope.

I always thought I'd be more into wearing makeup if I had more masculine facial features. In an alternative kind of way. In reality I'd probably be just as lazy about everything as I have been since I became a hermit. I've never really worn makeup (maybe 5 occasions ever,) but I did used to put more effort into aesthetics in general. It seems like an expensive habit too though buying stuff buying clothes/makeup/accesories. I've been procrastinating on buying sword/dagger earings for actual years now. They are no longer in fashion I think but that's ideal. They seemed to be several years ago.

I'm not really attracted to femininity but androgynous men are hot 10/10
I am but I also really like this genre:

Although I am also attracted to him as a girl since he posted a genderswapped image to Porcupine Tree's twitter:

And then I was also attracted to someone who looked a bit like him (which was how I got into his music,) and that person much later came out as non-binary.

    So basically this means nothing.

    But [BEEP] you.

He apparently has a trans cousin actually. Mentioned in autobiography.

I would like this genre but this guy is some far right Nick Fuentes supporter it seems. Along with half the guys and sometimes trans people who look like this now. Though with everyone just being ironic and insincere all the time if not government agents it's hard to say wtf that means. So it puts me off a lot and this video is somewhere between performance art and a mental breakdown as I said yesterday in the post I removed. The vibes (not just in this video,) are just terrible and intimidating at the same time to the point where it basically ruins everything but physically he's cute:

He screams in random parts of the video.

"Whoever you are I probably won't like you and if you found out enough about me you probably wouldn't like me either so we're on even ground right now. But I am cute. You can't lie I am cute."

    Yeah.

This guy is trans/queer though as he keeps talking about monster energy drinks.

    No I'm joking. It's a joke. He's not trans. He's a government agent/psyop.

I'm sure he knows because he points out at one point in the video that a lot of hot girls drink white monster energy drinks.

I keep seeing memes about how much transgender people like Monster? Why? Is it just an absurdist joke or is there something deeper to it?
It's just a subculture thing. A lot of younger trans girls (especially the ones who spend a lot of time online) are into gaming, anime, programming, and other stuff. Some things just catch on.

It's kinda like how musicals are part of gay culture, but less engrained than that.
monster energy drinks are pretty much a general [BEEP] thing, very popular with trans men and women, enbies and lesbians in particular
I don't know why but that stereotype totally holds up ime
So every one who isn't a cis man? Lol.

I drank a monster energy drink once while in uni so I could see if it helped staying up to get work done in 2009/2010 (and in that kind of subcultural group actually I guess. I was studying a game dev related degree.) Didn't care for it.

Futch guys are my favorite kind of guys
That's one of my favourite genders. They have to have long hair though. Otherwise it won't work at all.

They don't really like masc women either they just like muscular women
    No it's the opposite.

I think I watched on episode of this show maybe? Can't remember. I watched a bunch of the show that this show is a spin off of but I could tell this was going to be worse and not my thing. Didn't know she was on the show though.

But I know the people they're talking about and yeah they're just into muscles lol.

Tbf I'm not into masculine women either if you mean physical appearence, just androgynous and not very often.

I think what is recognized less is that when these types say "masculine women" they absolutely do not mean it. They want somewhat muscular women and will freak out at anything beyond that.
    biphobia but woke
    Kinda.

Okay but in my case I like masculine women and feminine men and women.

And conventionally masculine guys if they fit the pathetic quota. If you have this tendency as a bisexual woman date women please!
    ???

Tfw your ex liked feminine men but apparently did not like masculine women, or any women at all... and you had thought you being her girlfriend was on preorder but she canceled before the preorder got filled 😭
Even if you're into both you might not be attracted to your partner after they transistion for various reasons.

Can we get an Arcane but yaoi I feel there's not enough yaoi in the world
I don't know why people are so pissed about this tweet. He obviously wasn't saying he wanted Arcane to change just wants something else similar but with yaoi. I also say this as someone who keeps trying to find fanfics for various pairings and failing miserably. Including Samantha/Charlotte from Sex and the City not long ago... The older I get the less common what I'm looking for is lol.

notice how the fujoshi is described creating their sustenance while the himejoshi only seeks it out and puts in no work. even in their writing the himejoshi cannot imagine creating anything
My people are foolish and must gain the light of knowledge
it is imperative you teach your people to pick up the pen. for the good of all
Hey look I agree. There's just always less people involved (except for JJ/Prentiss fanfiction. Everyone seems to have written fanfic for that pairing.) I wrote this earlier lol (the last line being most relevant):

I go through two or three audiobooks a week at my job and when I take a break from scfi and thrillers, I love a romcom.

But I can't find any that are like my relationship. My wife is trans and I'm cis and I can't find a darn thing.

I found books with transfemme leads who end up with either a cis guy or a trans guy. I found books with nb/f relationships. And lots of f/f books with two cis women.

But I want one like my relationship. Just one.

    Any recommendations?

I think I looked for one with a trans woman and a non-binary person a few years ago and couldn't find anything, and also looked for that combination and couldn't. So it seems very rare.

This is extremely rare. I won't share my thoughts on why here, but yeah.

    Anyway, I'm writing one!

    Lol you should.

I read a ton of sapphic fiction, as a reviewer and a writer, and I don't think you will find a sapphic trans woman-centred novel within traditional publishing. Maybe there are some obscure self-published works, I dunno
    Strange.

Been trying to find the same and it's honestly so depressing. My bestie and I both love romance novels. She is a cishet woman and she has a million books to choose from that includes her romantic preferences, and for me, a sapphic trans woman, I can barely find anything. It's really sad because we like going to the bookstore together and she often leaves with a romance novel and I never do. Have to do hours of research online, finding niche authors and while I have found a few it's still just sad to see how few there are and how difficult they are to find. Most of the time I just read lesbian romance novels were they never specify that they are cis and just headcanon them to be trans, but idk it's still not the same and inconsistencies often pop up because it becomes clear that the author only had cis women in mind. Shouldn't really be surprised tbh, being trans is being an eternally neglected outsider in so many ways, this sadly being one of them. Most people don't really think about us and those that do usually wants us dead

I wonder if there is stuff with two trans women? I've not stumbled on that either.

(I do mean romance. Obviously there is random erotica I could probably find on literotica or something, and audio porn stuff and visual porn that I don't watch.)

The closest thing is like fanfiction about two crossdressing anime characters from Fruits Basket I read as a teenager. Actually only one crossdressed all the time and passed as a woman (until the end in the cannon work where he gained the confidence to stop crossdressing which has to be my least favourite trope,) the other was just very androgynous and flamboyant with very long hair but I guess also crossdressed just less often.

And Princess Jellyfish where you have to squint (at least in the anime,) and again crossdressing guy who passes as a woman.

there are fanfics with female Loki I guess (not many) with female partners (very rare compared to m/m slash again,) my OTP is Loki/Darcy and was always looking for fem Loki stuff but finding very little also one thing isnt a romance really just a one chapter erotic fic where they have sex in a club bathroom which was pretty hot. But anyway Loki is a shape-shifting genderfluid alien who the rules of Human sex/etc dont apply to and kind of just written like a cis woman often anyway, or an androgynous guy or normie guy mostly depending on the fanfic.

I once read a Cloud/Sephiroth fanfic as a teenager where Cloud had a [BEEP] but wasn't explicitly said to be a trans guy. Lots of vague stuff like that back then. Still is probably.

I kind of headcannon Cloud as a trans guy. I think more people headcannon him as a transwoman. Obviously he's a cis guy but I just think his storyline of idolising other male characters, not living up to that and failing, and losing his identity and having to piece that together himself fits a certain trans masc experience well. Cloud is a very non-binary name though lol.

Anyway I'm sure sapphic stuff with trans characters must exist in manga or anime? I don't read/watch any these days so dunno though.

I've never sought out stuff with trans guy characters because erotic stuff I've stumbled on didn't work for me and I just assume it won't work well. I'm way pickier about m/m stuff these days too (for romance at least, I still read or listen to porn that includes that,) even though that made up most of what I read as a teenager. Like the only thing I've enjoyed recently was Spencer Reid/Langly fanfics. If one guy is really masculine in a stereotypical sense it won't work for me. I could never get into Loki/iron man or Loki/Thor I mean I also don't care for Loki/Thor because I prefer them to be brothers tbf.

There are no other Bishie characters to ship Loki with lol..... I saw some videos that shipped him with Thranduil from The Hobbit lmfao.

I did read some Doctor Strange/Loki fanfics for a bit because of that one scene in the 2017 film where he's like 'handle me?' I like that they both use magic as well. It makes it more gay no lol but maybe.

I'm joking but also kind of not the best Loki/Darcy stuff was also where they are friends and there's 'less of a gap' ? It's less heteronornative in some ways basically but also not common. I read one series like that and Loki's also female occasionally.

Yep now I'm just talking about unrelated fanfiction. Can't believe I couldn't find more Charlotte/Samantha fanfiction from Sex and The City. Nothing I like exists.

I should look for fiction with nerdy characters though sometime while being less lazy. Good idea universe.

Obviously I wanted to find Isha/Slaanesh fanfiction too. I've said so many times. I headcannon Slaanesh as non-binary though. Couldn't find that either. Fml. I mean prob for the best it would be a very fucked up pairing but in a world where there are fanfics about Freddy Krueger why can't a chaos God absorb almost an entire species and abduct an eldar goddess for weird sex games? Has to be more fun than what she's doing with Nurgle. 🙄

Pfft Nurgle. He's no fun at all.

Slaanesh would be fun to roleplay as yes.

Ohh I think I found something from this year. Its not a pairing fic though just a fic about the fall of the Aeldari called 'The Fall' on AO3. I assume this will be more or less cannonical with no relationship/sexual stuff.

the shadow coalesced and solidified into a great serpent, the scales of its enormous head dripping with the sins of the Eldar as it rose from the Sea of Souls to loom over the dying Isle. It was long enough to wrap around worlds, with scales glittering like amethyst and enormous golden eyes with slitted pupils.

    That's so aesthetic.

    Nurgle.

Isha swallowed as Nurgle landed on the rubble, leering her at her.

"Beloved," The crow crooned. "Come with me. Let us go away from here. I will keep you safe in my garden."

"I would rather die." Isha spat.

"You will die if you don't come with me, beloved" Nurgle answered in what would have been a patient way if his voice wasn?t like acid pouring into her veins. "I-"

    "NO !"

For the first time the serpent spoke, all its heads roaring as one.

    "SHE IS MINE!"

The crow cawed back, displeased. "Quiet, brat. I've had a claim on my beloved since before you were the echo of an idea.
    "Now, where is Mother?"

Isha, who had been trying to use the distraction to slip away, froze as the attention of all four Chaos Gods turned to her, even as a shudder of revulsion and rage went through her at the abomination referring to her as mother.

Nurgle made a noise of disappointment. "Beloved, please. Come with me, it?s for your good. I can protect you from this foolish child of yours."
Morphing back into her Aeldari form, Isha sprinted towards the sun, Isha let the remnants of her power flow out behind her, creating a massive forest with each step, wild and massive and fey, full of dangers that might halt the horde chasing after her for just a moment.
    Thats cool too.

I guess this sort of thing is probably as close as I'm going to get lol. I feel like Slaanesh is not too far removed from Marvel Loki conceptually who is much more popular. There are also fanfics about cenobites, Pinhead etc. People are sleeping on this. Then again people only really like Tom Hiddleston's Loki.

I should write something myself but I'm not that familiar at all with the source material so would have to read a bunch more.

Me when I just have bad taste: Clearly everyone is sleeping on this. LOL.

edit: Parts of this fanfic I started skimreading are now the closest:

Slaanesh was delighted to see Isha. So much time lost between them. After Sanguinius's apotheosis, she intended to try and convince him to let her have the eldar goddess as a plaything. For now however, she had to soulbind Isha. As she pounced on the struggling goddess, Nurgle entered his home. She considered grabbing Sanguinius and running, until the angel's voice rang out "Keep doing what your doing, and finish the process." He said, forcing her to continue trying to bind the struggling goddess. Eventually she had her arms pinned at her sides straddling her, and began the process of soul binding, which took far longer with the target resisting.
After that the fanfic got very gross for a bit lol because of Nurgle attacking Sanguinius.

Sanguinius stepped through onto the sands of Baal dragging the two goddesses. He then picked them up underneath his arms and flew off towards his fortress monastery. On the way there Sanguinius said to Slaanesh "Do not try to corrupt anyone. Do not do anything corruptive. You can torture any eldar we find however you want, but beyond that, do nothing untoward."

Isha tensed as he spoke. Sanguinius then said "Isha is the exception. Do nothing to her specifically unless you are told to by me or the Empress or given permission by her."

    Slaanesh slumped in disappointment.
    aww lol.

Walking up to her companion, Slaanesh said "As powerful as we are, you don't really need armor."

Isha groaned with disgust. "Unlike you, I have some semblance of modesty." She said venomously.

Slaanesh recoiled in mock hurt. "How cruel, I thought we were becoming friends." She said with false sadness.

I saw this video of an elephant pretending to eat a guy's hat:

Apparently a bunch will do that:

Elephant has a sense of humor. It's incredible!
As cool as that would be it's more likely training. The deer in nara will bow for crackers:

Oh I forgot about this track. I listened to it bunch a long time ago (maybe a decade or more ago.) Pretty sure this isn't about the deer lol. It's part of the soundtrack of something I forget what though:

Oh no it is about the city lol. OK.

In keeping with the theme of "all things past", each of the thirteen tracks on the album is named after an ancient city, most of which have been abandoned or destroyed, though Cuzco, Nara, Isfahan, and Estremoz still survive to this day.
Probably should have been obvious because of the flute part but yeah.

Well it's still not about the deer though.

It's used on Cold Case right. I never watched that show. I just knew for some reason lol.

There was another track I liked by them too. This one:

Was looking for this song (it actually does reference the deer lol):

Today in "I rarely bother to watch new TV shows/films/play video games and I'm too lazy to put more effort into searching so I can't find a new ship to get into now that I'm old (tm)"

I started reading this reddit discussion about why yuri so unpopular.

I have been binging quite a handful of Yuri shows that do not have a clear intended demographic, unlike male homosexual romances(BL) that are targeted toward women. Even after checking Myanimelist statistics on the number of Yuri anime that have been made, it has the lowest out of any genre in anime.
This is because there is a big gap between BL that is aimed at straight women vs aimed at gay men, which doesn't exist in GL. The biggest Yuri manga magazine, Comic Yuri Hime, had two magazines for men and women (Seinen and Shoujo) until they merged into one magazine because both of the magazines had the same readership.
Sorta? Or rather, manga specifically targeted at gay men isn't "BL," it's geikomi. Meanwhile, gay men do read BL as well. (Also, many women who read BL are not heterosexual.)
I don't really like the hyper neotenous art style of a lot of what I've seen in yuri (I always joke that anime guys look like teenagers, maybe young adult males and anime girls look like children....)

This seems like a typical example of the art style of yuri that I stumble on:

It's also not just about the appearence it's the issue where I assume these female characters are going to sound like this:

Instead of this (yes the limbs are ridiculous):

I haven't watched this anime but why does this adult sorceress have what appears to be two pre-puberty girls working as her assistants?

    Lol:

I'm really not into extremes. Goldilocks sexuality.

I saw people bring up this anime 'Bloom Into You' a bunch in this thread and that was the first image I saw (which was offputting but it's possible it works better animated):

I think people (who are not lesbians) just assume it is not aimed at them so they won't watch it. I know I used to think like that until I read Otherside Picnic and absolutely loved it (including the romance part) and then started watching or reading other yuri anime or light novels like Adachi and Shimamura, Lycoris Recoil, Gundam Witch, Birdie Wing, and Magical Revolution. But yuri seems to be getting pretty popular in Japan since the mainstream success of Bloom into You. However, that is still not the case in the West.
My opinion is because Yuri is generally bad. Except for "Bloom into you" no show I tried was able to deliver "girls in love" experience I longed for. Most of the shows just normalized it: e.g. "I am in love with villainess" is entertaining, but empty romance-wise.
Bloom Into You (Japanese: やがて君になる, Hepburn: Yagate Kimi ni Naru, lit. Eventually, Becoming You)[3] is a Japanese yuri manga series written and illustrated by Nio Nakatani.[4] The manga began serialization in the Japanese monthly shōnen manga magazine Dengeki Daioh[5] on April 27, 2015,[6] and ended on September 27, 2019.[7] The story follows two female high school students, Yuu Koito and Touko Nanami, and the relationship that develops between them as they learn more about themselves through their experiences together.
(This bolded part here is going to be a recurring issue for me in this post lol.)

But on that note this is quite weird because in the West at least there are notably distinct differences between the preferences of [BEEP] women and men - with a bunch of overlap.

It doesn't really make much sense that BL would be distinct but GL isn't in terms of consumers. Its also weird that the splitting of the audience and existence of heterosexual romance still doesn't result in BL being less popular.

In Western fanfiction I would actually say gay male (slash) ships in romance are more popular than heterosexual stuff in most fandoms.

And having thought about this I think part of it is that BL has become more of a bisexual female thing at least among Western fans just like the fanfic writers on AO3, so they cater to the androgyny preference a lot (though I've heard this is changing a bit in newer works. I don't watch/read any. I have done a small amount but it's been a really long time now like well over a decade.) In a lot of surveys on Westerners at least, bisexual (and non-heterosexual in general,) women seem to be overrepresented compared to in society in general, and then I read somewhere once that a lot of the guys who watch/read BL stuff ID as straight lol. Might have just been one survey though.

Here's a variety of people's experiences in a thread I found so you see how diverse it gets:

ive found there's a small but noticeable amount of bl fans that are trans women (like myself, and my girlfriend)- the majority of which are bi or lesbian.
A local BL bookstore opened where I'm from. I spoke to the owner and she said that straight girls AND gay guys come to the shop, and the proportion is about 50/50. It is definitely not exclusively for straight women.
I think it's different from country to country. My impression is that in Asian countries it's mostly straight women while in the western world it's also some [BEEP] people.
Ok in answering this, I chose female who likes men, because I'm a late 40's married woman.

HOWEVER, and this is a discussion my husband and I have on the reg, because he knows my obsession with BL shows / comics... I low key wish I could snap my fingers and be a man for a while, so I could top some little bottoms. Is that weird? Is it just me? Like, I legit wish I could have a penis of my own so I could see what it's like. So, I guess I still fit the female who likes men category, I'm just a woman who is married to one who also sort of wishes she was one so she could like men in a whole different way. I don't think I'm trans or have proper gender identity issues, it's just a big time fantasy. Ladies, tell me is it just me?!
I am exactly like you. Female 41 married. My husband knows I like BLs. I too sometimes wish I could have a penis and make love to these beautiful bottoms.
Are you me? Because I've definitely gone through all that mental back and forth and landed on the same dreams.

The only difference is I'm bi. And if I was a guy for a while, I'd want to still be bi. I want to experience all the people's while having a penis.
I'm nonbinary is this is partly why. I definitely fantasize about being a male top with my own penis. I can achieve some of that, but sadly, I haven't gained the magical ability to grow a real penis.
I think that's pretty common for women who consume slash/BL etc though not always talked about. Most people assume that women who consume BL stuff self insert as the bottom when actually a lot self insert as both, neither (voyeurism,) or the top more often. I've noticed recently that there's been a very tiny increase in heterosexual fanfics with strap on sex from non existant when I was younger in the 2000s to 'appearing now and then' (like I recently was looking up Wuthering Heights fanfics and one of those fanfics had strap on sex it was unsuprisingly not fanfic of the actual book though but some Japanese video game with characters based on the book, same thing with Hannibal fanfics a while ago with Clarise and Hannibal when I was looking there was one with strap on sex, and Loki is genderfluid but there was a fanfic where he was basically a crossdressing guy having relationships with male characters but also Darcy a female character and that included strap on sex. I read that in maybe 2017 or so,) which is probably a good development ultimately though it's still rare.

I got twig and berries. 🙋🏽*♂️

My core group of friends who watch BL (7 people including me)

    3 girls 4 guys

The 3 girls identify as straight

1 guy is straight, 1 gay guy 2 bi guys including me

Based on how BL is marketed, the product promotions, the fan service and how they present the males through imagery I think they know their audience is dominated by females. Regardless of orientation.
    Rant ahead:

I think the "by straight women for straight women" mantra of BL is a myth. It looks good as a catch phrase in shallow articles exploring BL as a trend, which is why it gets repeated to this day. But BL has been written and enjoyed by a lot of people who aren't straight from the inception to this day. And the visibility of LGBTQ+ creators and consumers has been growing rapidly as LGBTQ+ people gain more acceptance. It's high time to throw that outdated and simply incorrect mantra in the garbage can where it belongs.

Among all the BL loving people I've met during the last 20 years or so, there's a noticeably larger than usual amount of bisexual and lesbian women, gay and bisexual men, trans men, trans women, nonbinary and genderfluid people, etc etc. I've had several instances of female friends who cosplay their favourite shipping couples or write fanfic together and then fall in love with each other. BL made us friends because it spoke to us on a personal level, with stories that actually had a strong connection to our lives.

I've been asked so many, many times - mostly by (presumably) straight men why I enjoy watching BL and LGBTQ+ stories, as if I'm some kind of curiosity. I've been interviewed by a researcher about it. I've been laughed at because of it behind my back and told about it afterwards. Honestly, I can't even count many time I've just wanted to just tell those people that I'm not f*cking straight so why is it so hilarious that I'd be into the idea of a same-sex romance? I didn't, because I don't owe these people any explanation. So I don't blame any BL fan who keeps their LGBTQ+ status under wraps.

Anyways, straight cis women are always going to be a major part of BL fandom and I love that we all love the same thing, but I think it's time to throw away the notion that LGBTQ+ people are a recent addition or a tiny percentage of the fandom.
A small minority of BL and slash fanfiction (Western stuff) fans also seem to identify as lesbians. Date women irl.

One issue with reddit polls is you can only include 6 options (twitter is even worse with just 4,) means you can't seperate both gender and sexuality properly:

I guess bisexuals don?t exist lol
    Invisible as always
I don't know why they're being downvoted for pointing out the invisibility. This poll is almost useless for my current purposes except to show that there really is for whatever reason a sizeable minority of women who aren't attracted to men at all who consume this.

(Also not sure what's going on with that teacher since the stereotype is that it's mostly straight women into BL not gay men lol.)

And as revealed in a recent post I created the fact that straight and bisexual women don't have identical preferences in men on average (though there is overlap,) is creating issues as some men assume all women are into very feminine guys who look like women and that all women are into trans women and 'feminine gay men.' I put that in scare quotes because I'm sure most of the time it's not important for them to be gay in an orientation/identity sense. In fact that would be undesireable as they wouldn't date them. I think they're just looking for certain personality and physical traits and sexual activities.

    Also:

    I mean, I'm a woman who likes men...but I don't like men.
I think using the word 'like' there might have been less than ideal lol.

The number of writers and readers is only an estimate but a 2022 survey of 5,000 users of AO3 found that m/m slash was the most popular story focus, with 26% of respondents reading slashfic. The majority of these readers and writers were cis women: Of the survey's 5,000 respondents, 53.77% were cisgender women, 13.43% were nonbinary people and 8.94% were transgender (cis men made up just 5.39% of respondents). Fans and creators of slash are also, like many slash ships, often white: 77.9% of survey respondents who answered the question identified as such. (Slash pairings from popular properties in English can be overwhelmingly white, a phenomenon known as Two White Guys; other cultures have different but slash-like fiction such as yaoi, also known as Boys' Love or BL, in Japanese manga and anime.)
But while cis women are, as Stanfill puts it, "a significant center of gravity in the slash population," a notable proportion of respondents to that same 2022 survey were queer: only 13.92% identified as straight or heterosexual, with the highest percentage of respondents identifying as bisexual (24.83%).
Suzuki notes that "demographic analyses of BL media are underdeveloped and thus much needed in yaoi/BL studies,"[204] but acknowledges that "the overwhelming majority of BL readers are women."[204] 80% of the BL audience is female,[205][206] while the membership of Yaoi-Con, a now-defunct American yaoi convention, was 85% female.[207] It is usually assumed that all female fans are heterosexual, but in Japan there is a presence of lesbian manga authors[18] and lesbian, bisexual or questioning female readers.[208] A 2008 survey of English-speaking readers of BL indicated that 50-60% of female readers self-identify as heterosexual.[209]
Shihomi Sakakibara (1998) argued that yaoi fans, including himself, were homosexually oriented female-to-male transgender people.[44]
Patrick Galbraith suggests that androgynous beautiful boys contribute to the appeal of yaoi amongst women who are heterosexual, lesbian or transgender.[45]
I know there are some bisexual trans women who have read similar stuff or watched it before coming out but anecdotally their tastes tend to run more feminine and neotenic than the norm when I look at the art work they retweet.

Of course there's a big difference between Western slash and BL too stylistically and in terms of gender roles for the most part. Then the overlap in fanfiction. So these are sort of distinct but overlapping.

Although the English-speaking online yaoi fandom is observed to increasingly overlap with online slash fandom,[61] slash fiction has portrayed adult males, whereas yaoi follows the aesthetic of the beautiful boy, often highlighting their youth. Mark McLelland describes this aesthetic as being seen as problematic in recent Western society.[21] Yaoi fans tend to be younger than slash fans, and so are less shocked about depictions of underage sexuality.[17] Jessica Bauwens-Sugimoto detects a tendency in both yaoi and slash fandoms to disparage the others' heteronormativity, potential for subversiveness or even the potential for enjoyment.[33]
Bolded is relevant to a lot of what I discuss later in this post too.

Another aspect is that for whatever reason guys who find femboys or even in some cases androgyny attractive and prefer to top identify as straight a lot of the time and others consider them to be too and 'not real bisexuals.' This is only true of cis men though. If a woman or trans guy is attracted to femboys she's also straight/gay (depending on whether the trans guy is considered a guy or not.) And everyone incorrectly assumes trans guys (afab people in general,) are bottoms because of femininity/androgyny/genitals. Only very masculine cis men can be tops.

    *chucks phone out of window*

    MAKE IT MAKE SENSE

Yuri stuff tends to on average have a fairly even readership. Most of the big yuri mags report a 50/50 male/female readership. It depends a lot on the series, though.

For instance, despite how people talk about it, Citrus had branded tampons, so I'm gonna assume that one was a majority female fanbase.

As for why it isn't like BL, where the fanbase is mostly women, I think it's kind of about gendered stereotypes. The main market for romance series is stereotypically women, and as genres defined by the specific romance taking place, both BL and yuri tend to attract women. You can have a yuri or BL series with a plot going on besides the romance, but the romance is still going to be a main focus. You can't really have a Yuri series with no romance at all, because otherwise what's making it yuri, you know?

Combine that with the fact that both the yuri and BL genres grew out of shoujo and josei manga, so stylistically they tend to have shoujo trappings, both in terms of art and subject matter.

Despite that, there's still some yuri series that do have a more seinen flavor to them, like Murcielago. That said, given that series' very dark humor, it's unlikely to ever get an anime.
Why is it 50/50 if it mostly attracts women though? Bit weird.

Is this new data too I wonder.

When I think about the kind of dynamics I like its never cannon, popular or there's something else blocking me... Like this:

I don't want to read fanfiction about this pairing because they are high school students (albeit played by actors in their 20s once again,) and I'm 33 but I like the dark/light dynamic a lot.

They're not cannon. A lot of people just ship them I noticed and I think its been acknowledged by cast members. A lot of people also find that annoying and don't get it. As with anything really.

There's also a whole genre of people especially men who get pissed off by the 'sexualisation if friends' though honestly Wednesday and Enid aren't even friends exactly. Hahaha they're literally roomates.

I think their dynamic is cute though and I somewhat can identify with Wednesday because of my own avoidance and interest in dark stuff. And being compared to her in an insulting way when I was in school... (She was not cool back then I guess.)

    I also read this:

The thing is, and this is conjecture based on interviews, it's both.

For the writers it was accidental subtext. They really wanted to have a love triangle between Wednesday, Xavier, and Tyler. They wanted that to be the romantic focus.

But Jenna Ortega hated that idea, and she actively worked to sabotage it in her performance.

On top of that, she and Emma Myers seem to have decided very early (and I mean VERY early on) that they wanted to play up romantic tension between the two roommates. Look at Enid's wink in episode two ("or just stand on the sidelines, glaring"). That's flirty as fuck.

The actresses were working overtime to make it text.

It seems like at a certain point at least one of the writers/directors just gave up and decided to run with it, but I don't think everyone in control is on board.

So at the end of the day, it comes down to whose competing idea you want to consider valid, and what your metric for that is.
I don't think they were playing that up afaik, but I do remember her saying I think that she wasn't keen on the love triangle thing and thought it didn't work for Wednesday's character.

I do like the Sherlock Holmes thing as well.

Anyway there seems to be a similar 'issue' with GL too - the prevalance of high school romance. I mean it's not an issue really if there's an alternative medium aimed at you. Someone commented this:

I'm a lesbian, so I can't speak for why men don't love GLs, but I would love for their to be more and better GLs out there.

An issue I have with many of the ones that exist, is that they are often stuck in the adolescent phase of "is it even okay to like girls?" It's so innocent that it feels like it's for children (which, I know some are for children but it's hard to find any for adults). I want women who know what they want - like Vi from arcane.

To this end, I would love to see more yuri with adult women, grappling with the relationship issues of adults. What about commitment issues, or dealing with past hang ups and traumas, or living into yourself outside of safe [BEEP] spaces?

The gays I know want to feel powerful. They want to live into being unencumbered and unashamed of their wants and desires. Many women in yuris seem, to my eye, to be portrayed more for the male gaze than for the lesbian gaze. By this I mean, the women and girls feel childlike. Many are afraid to be themselves. Even the more "forward" one who is making all the advances will devolve into a timid girl when the object of their interest reciprocates.

It's like the people creating the GLs have never been around lesbians.
Well remember they're lesbian stories in Japan. Japan is nowhere near as progressive as the west for LGBT. The reason why "is this okay" is such a big part of the stories is cause it's something LGBT Japanese still have to deal with.

The stories reflect the culture they're coming from.
Yeah, and I'm aware of that fact. But that being said, it could still be more adult (by which I mean mature and not sexual). Plenty of older women question their sexuality too. If we are already making GLs then it doesn't have to be exclusively girls and teenagers questioning.
Because you know you hit a certain age and it just feels weird and creepy to be reading it. I'm a very creepy and weird person it's sort of unavoidable for me but it seems like this could be avoidable if there were just older characters with similar dynamics in more stuff...

It can be hard enough getting straight anime romances that aren't about teenagers.
Yeah seems to be an anime thing in general really.

I liked Princess Jellyfish though I started watching it in my early 20s and then finally decided to finish it a few years ago. Cause at least they have left high school lol and the NEET hermit thing was naturally relatable for me too. All the characters are either unemployed, underemployed, or 'don't have real jobs.' Not much like this in the West. Also the main character being kind of attracted to this crossdressing androgynous guy (or it's easy to project that, I think it's more of a thing in the manga.) Again relatable.

I wasn't super keen on how, like in lots of Western stuff, they forced the characters to get makeovers to be hyperfemme. I appreciate that they at least gave a reason for this though most of the time so it was more like Cloud crossdressing in FFVII than just "every girl must look this way because it is said so." Comparing it at one point to armour you use to achieve specific goals. And it was more ambivalent about this than seen as just 'a good thing.' It's also balanced out more by there being a 'regular guy' character who pops up a bunch and obviously the main male character you see also being a crossdresser and Spoiler: becoming a model for another character who designs Jellyfish clothing. Like the female characters aren't really treated as visual objects as much as in Western stuff.

And I am quite allergic to this trope lol:

So it wasn't ideal, but I think it's handled better than in eg: The Breakfast Club movie, or The Princess Diaries.

I want everyone to know that I was early to the 'Timothee Chalamet guy who met Nick' thing and the catboy thing etc when it eventually blows up.

Oh no, the normies are finally discovering nicks affinity for tr***ies. It's over
But also the normies (tm) have known for years now lol. He was caught watching trans porn on stream or something? I don't know this has happened to so many guys that that might have happened months ago and I'm thinking of someone else.

god damn, why are they always nazis?
The worst thing that has happened in the past 5 years is the reversal of aesthetics so the very online mentally ill left (tm) looks like.

    *checks notes*

    "Post ironic neo redneck."

    edit:
Wait there's a meme I forgot about for what I'm doing in this post (or one thing I'm doing.)

"Seriously why do they all look like this? What genre of man is this?"

Post ironic neo redneck really is the best descriptor of that I've ever heard lol.

You see how she's drinking monster white energy drink. Hahaha.

As opposed to the very online mentally ill right who are all twinks now.

As if the dream wasn't dead enough.

^ I should be clear that moustached dude I don't know and is not left wing. He's someone with issues with groypers which frankly is most people lol. There's a bunch of these guys:

Are you a groyper who is ashamed that you've been duped into following a gay pedophile cult? Can't stop noticing all the red flags?

It's never too late to change your life. To break away from a lie is to find the essence of one's own becoming.

Idk why my account attracts ppl from the far right when i've made it clear so many times that i despise Leftists & the Far Right. It's one of those confusing things where one's own perception of their online activity doesn't seem to be matching at all with what others see

Yeah i need to start insulting the far right more so they understand that just because I hate Leftists it doesn't mean I like them. Both groups' ideologies are based in the same satanic materialist foundations
It's not Halloween but I actually have this little munchkin pumpkin with a candle in lit up on my window sill right now and I'm sitting in the dark.

Exactly but also with the far right in particular their extremism tends to be as a result of most of them being naturally neurotic, couple that with a materialist outlook, excessive p+rn consumption & resentment for women, it lends them to many deviant paths
    Autism
Well... I can't deny that's what our (people who aren't conservative,) personalities are like lol.

    "Naturally neurotic."

    https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/liber...istopher-tabet

According to Xue et al. (2020), Liberals tend to seek novel, aesthetic and complex stimuli. There is a strong correlation between liberalism and the Big 5 personality trait -- openness to experience, associated with an appreciation for aesthetics and abstract ideas. People high in openness are flexible and open to change, which perhaps explains the progressive-like qualities in liberal thinking (Xue et al., 2020). Another predictor of liberalism is low levels of conscientiousness at both the lower-level domains of orderliness and industriousness. Liberals score high in agreeableness but only in the lower level trait of compassion, which explains their desire for a more egalitarian social structure (Hirsh et al., 2010). In addition, neuroticism was also a good predictor for liberalism, with high correlation scores for both lower-level traits -- withdrawal and volatility (Hirsh et al., 2010).

    https://status451.com/2017/11/05/i-see-trad-people/

Now flip that around, and what do you get? I think it looks a lot like Twitter anime nazis and kekistanis. Loudly anti-progressive, often unproductively so, and proud of it. In a symmetry that is either very surprising or not at all, we find a similar reversal of moral alignments. They have a decidedly anti-authoritarian bent, practice an open-door policy of teaming up with anyone favorable, and consider very little sacred aside from maybe their waifus. Per Haidt's framework, they are rather unconservative right wingers. In their quest to be nominally more trad, they are abandoning tradition wholesale.

Yes, I'm deliberately speaking in stereotypes here, which means a "not all" rule implicitly applies. However, stereotypes do have predictive qualities, and in this case, I think it helps explain exactly why left and right are both extremely polarized and extremely useless designations nowadays. They have ceased to be identifiers for concrete poles of policy and morality, and have instead become mere flags of necessity to rally around by dispossessed and confused ideologies.
idk about this current generation, they'd made anime so gay. i remember when it was normal stuff like One Piece, DBZ & Death Note or whatever. now on my TL i'm seeing all these right wing accounts post cringe little girls or whatever. completely effeminised + ngmi
I just want you to know random guy who hates leftists and the far right that I watched Death Note and I read L/Light fanfiction and doujinshi in my late teens. I seem to remember one where L was a catboy.

The neotenic anime girls are very straight though (derogatory.) See my post before. I won't take responsibility for those.

"What if we did the opposite of what everyone expected."

Yeah I get it. Like how I'm (still) not a white man my dad's age while seeing Steven Wilson live despite living in Europe (Because I'm psychic I also stopped dying my hair weird colours just before that became a huge stereotype/politicised to hell despite being non-binary~):

What I was most surprised about when I came to Mexico city and later on to Santiago for the first time was how young my audience is now the reason I say this is when I got to play in Germany, or the UK or American my audience tends to be a mirror image of me. I see myself reflected back. I see the kind of music nerd maybe in his 30s, or 40s or even his 50s.

So what was so wonderful coming to Latin America was to see that it's kids. [...] The Latin crowd seems to be much broader much more across the sexes as well. Almost 50/50 between women and men which is amazing and of course that's wonderful for any musician to see that your music is appealing to younger people. People that you really feel you can make an impression on and the message can still mean something very special to them.

I wrote this before a while ago:

He mentions that his audience is younger in Latin America and more mixed gender. I'd noticed he had a lot of fans from that region and I also notice at a lot of his concerts it's mostly middle aged men even older than me by 20+ years and I got into his music when I was like 23 I think and started going to live shows around that time too.

The one time I saw Porcupine Tree at what was probably their last tour (since they were on hiatus the entire time I was a fan,) it was mostly the same kind of audience but there were a bunch of younger guys as well and more young women I think - still not many and I do think most were travelling from somewhere I mean some weren't speaking English racially ambiguous looking in a way I don't see super often here. Possibly some might have been from Latin America.
I actually feel more invisible/relaxed at those shows though then at other concerts. I'll probably always be anxious at TOOL concerts now cause a guy tried to talk to me at the one I went to last summer LOL and I wasn't prepared (this doesn't tend to happen to me,) and didn't really do a good job at all with that but yeah. Also IAMX concerts can increase my anxiety. Like last time I went I actually overheard someone saying that 'a bunch of the people here are not who I would expect to be fans.' I think it's sort of like how I used to study fine art and a software development course in 6th form and was more relaxed in the software dev course. Plus one time on a art trip there was a conversation happening about how fanfiction is weird.

"Because I'm primarily associated with a kind of music that's most associated with the 70s I think people expect me to say I had pictures of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd but I didn't. Actually I had pictures of The Smiths, I had pictures of XTC, I had pictures of a band called Japan."

(I edited this into this post before writing what I did at the end but that's funny LOL. I haven't listened to the whole of this video before because I was watching part of it and then stopped. I actually didn't realise he was a fan of Japan before he worked with Richard Barbieri but that makes sense and must have been cool for him.)

"You know we have this sort of extrordinary period in time from maybe the mid 60s to the mid 70s, maybe the late 70s. Where pop and rock music exploded in terms of ambition, creativity and it meant so much. Not just as music but as a cultural phenomenon. Now I think those days are gone. There's no way we can look at pop music now and say it's kind of influencing culture, fashion, politics in the way that The Beatles did. Or if you think of the way that Bowie influenced sexual politics you know the whole idea of crossdressing and those things. So that whole thing about it was OK to be gay, or it was OK to be a transvestite. Those boundaries have been broken a long time ago and I don't think music- pop music or rock music has the power anymore to really have that kind of impact beyond the music world."

This is the most annoying music interview btw (the BBC one below I mean.) I don't really expect them to be familiar with his music etc it's a morning show but how hard is it to listen to a five minute song before the interview?:

    "What's prog rock?"

    "I've no idea."

    LOL

    "So there are no words."

"Well there is in the song that clip you picked is an instrumental."

So awkward lol. Why would you interview someone about songs you haven't listened to first?

Who else thought the whole second clip "so there are no words" part was friggin hilarious!
It was a bit too painful to be funny lol. It wasn't even a long song it's 4:39.

You can tell that interviewer who said that clocks in and clocks out everyday with zero prep.
I can understand they're a breakfast show and so it's the same people everyday and they can't get people on necessarily who are that informed so I'm not expecting like 10/10 music journalism but those singles are pretty short just listen to them before the interview. It would take less than 15 minutes to listen to them once, and make some notes ffs.

I wouldnt be too hard on her. Its just seems like such a typical "normal reacts to prog rock" comment.
    It's 4:39 and it's not a prog rock song! It's a pop rock song/album.

I just automatically assume any person listening to Steven Wilson to be a cultured person with great taste.
    And pretentious
    That comment was very pretentious.

^ I have terrible taste actually as I said before:

Me when I just have bad taste: Clearly everyone is sleeping on this. LOL.
His music is great though. Unlike the Slaanesh/Isha pornographic fanfiction that doesn't exist and the 'femboy nazis.'

But at what cost to me. And it's starting to infect British guys and now I'm being called a f*g online for finding people attractive (which is funny to me but still,) so it's one thing when it's just the US clownshow but you know.

Dressing like an 80s rockstar is gay but posting this picture pretending to be Nietzsche is totally based!
He doesn't actually look like Timothee Chalamet. Or well he looks more like David Sylvian but nobody is old/into Porcupine Tree and IAMX enough to know who that is. (Richard Barbieri was in Japan with David Sylvian and Porcupine Tree, IAMX has brought up David Sylvian as an influence multiple times. Only reason I know who he is lol.)

Not so much in this video but this is actually the only song by Japan I've heard lol.

It's going to bug me that I haven't seen anyone make this comparison yet lol.

My favorite thing about Nick and the AF movement is he actually gets sensitive about posts like this and will officially disavow twink looking AF enthusiasts just to save face
There are multiple instances of this happening on stream. And this doesn't include the autists he disavowed, or the pederast political plague he decides to protect
Never seen that (I'm also not watching his streams.) He hung out with the catboy dude and also acknowledged this guy on stream since a clip of that is this guy's pinned tweet.

If you don't all stop radfemhitler will destroy us all:

terfs sexualize the [BEEP] out of the impotent and the feminine heterosexual male because he's just gay enough that they know he could never rape them but also not in touch with his own emotions enough that he realizes he's not attracted to women he's just programmed to by comphet.

they want a girlfriend is what they want, they just cant cross that hurdle in their mind because they have the female equivalent of "no homo bro" syndrome. they also feel like men are more exciting because of the exact trauma-fear dynamic in a way other women just arent

they seem to just want all AMABs to exist perpetually happy with the concept of being perceived as a perpetual rape threat because some benevolent enlightened woman will forever be the jane to their tarzan. vro just get over it, the emo boys of your youth are never coming back
Terfs go the most roundabout way to say they wanna date an egg
like all predatory males theyre horny for insecurity and docility
And this is messing with my plan of Megan Three Stallion fujoshi US presidency. It still hasn't happened:

Together I really do believe. We can bring back long hair.

I won't rest until a cute guy with long hair and glasses knocks on my door to misdeliver me someone else's pizza.
He has to be a 'normal person' ideally apolitical at this point everyone else is insane. Def not a far right shill with internet brain worms.

To be completely serious though it's very tiring cognitively:

I miss the beforetimes of livejournal and music forums and such.

I mean do you ever just:

Daria is rolling in her grave. Probably. I don't know what I'm saying:

It's OK they don't know about long straight hair glasses yet. Mostly.

I don't know if I posted about this before (don't think I did) but I can't believe he got to interview Tori Amos on his channel. That's a huge deal. Also interviewed Steven Wilson before twice I think which is really cool. I still need to watch most of this though:

I listened to the first song ("Baker Baker") a month ago and started crying after like 30 seconds haha.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIsXdEw1hIU

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmk0AVNRBIY

I was reading this Wolf Alice interview and thought about her:

Recently, she was invited back to her old school to judge a Battle of the Bands competition. Judging by the frown on her face as she relates this, she wasn't much impressed. "There was a lot of singing at the piano, the occasional ukelele. I wanted to go up to these girls and say: why don't you pick up the guitar? Give it a try, you might enjoy it."

And so why does she feel that girls gravitate more towards pop than rock? She shrugs. "I really don't know. Not enough role models, perhaps? Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly comfortable in the company of men, but it would be good if there were more of us around."
Were they good at playing the piano? Or the ukelele? We just don't know. Because they weren't playing the guitar.

She's playing a piano and a keyboard at the same time:

I find this attitude pretty frustrating because it's sort of like well how she was also complaining about women playing bass:

"I often wonder why girls who do get into music tend to be just singers, or else play the piano," she says. "And if they do pull on a guitar, why is it more likely to be the bass? Why not lead?"
"Men don't do this as often therefor it's bad/worthless. Everyone must do what men do." It's very toxic. Like some of the most insufferable people known to mankind... Middle aged male Rush fans:

The vast majority of chicks don't have good taste in music.
The last Rush Concert I went to, I can remember if it was Clockwork Angels or R40, I think R40, but anyway, there were about 38-42% females, including my beautiful wife.

It's just kind of become an inside joke with the band, especially in the early years, when their song themes were things like Dystopian Priest holding a world hostage or a man seeking immortality, only to find living forever sucks and he wishes for an end, or a Necromancer holding three men of Willowddale hostage in labyrinth with magic prism eyes..

These are really:not the kind of themes most women go for in music, so their female crowd was very thin back then. As Rush broadened their themes and dealt with relationships and not just men and women, but other human condition relationships, the female audience has grown.

Unfortunately, there is no more Rush or their female audience may have reached 50%? We'll never know?

It just an inside joke for many years, so don't take it too seriously. I've seen comments from a lot of women saying, "Hey, I like Rush and have gone to concerts for years.".

Then I tell them they're in a minority, just like women that like Monty Python comedy. Had one woman keep arguing that just as many women like Monty Python, which isn't really true, maybe just where she lived, but Monty Python has also been an inside joke for years that most women don't get the humor at all.

I've seen it. My wife loves MP, but we watched her sister through the entire Holy Grail movie and she not only didn't laugh, she actually thought it was in poor taste, like the Black Knight, who cracked my wife up, so she was excited to show her sister, but her sister thought it gross and n bad taste.

She certainly has a different sense of humors than my wife. In reality, her sister has a normal female sense of humor, (when looking at popularity) my wife is in a more rare female comedy audience and likes male humor,.

There is a difference, between men and women's taste in comedy and music. More men like Metal, but more women like Pop music. Not so many men there, at least over 18-20.

He had to die because he was making the bass guitar seem too cool.

I really like the bass during the chorus of this song:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auLBLk4ibAk

    Oh no look!

We're going to have to steal her bass now. You can't play that sorry. The council has decided there are too many female bassists now.

    You know what I mean?

I don't know if anyone bothers to keep track of what instruments men are choosing to play except to note which one has the least women - because that instrument is automatically the best. No one seems to care that there aren't more male nurses either.

    Or more importantly !!!

Guys with really long hair and glasses who have a pet rabbit and hang out or work in the library. They could just work in a garden centre or doing something else with plants but hang out in the library too. I'm flexible. Probably need to be poetic.

Another explanation connects to supply and demand. It would seem that there would be more bass players available because it?s an "easy" instrument to play. However, Clawson found that bass players were in high demand but short supply. One player confirmed this, telling her that "the day I got my bass, I was in two bands."

Moreover, the lead guitar is usually seen as the star of the show, while the bass only lends support, another reason why it has been feminized, Clawson notes.
    Wow I wonder why.

So when I was a teenager I started teaching myself to play guitar, and then this girl at school heard that I was teaching myself to play guitar and asked me to teach her so for a while we'd sometimes play together and then with this boy who lived near by who she started dating later who well guess what instrument he was playing.... Guitar.

    Too many cooks.

A 2018 study found that women make up 50 percent of "beginner and aspirational guitar players." And while that might have seemed surprising at the time, maybe it was really a return to roots, to a time when the guitar was seen as a women's instrument. Though there may be a rise in the number of women buying and playing guitar today, there's a history of a disproportionate number of women bass guitar players, specifically in rock. As music historian Steve Waksman noted in a 2020 essay, "Much more so than either the drums or the electric guitar, women have filled the bass player's role in rock."
So basically, in other words, there are a lot. They just don't continue with it over time to a professional level.

Clawson found that many saw the bass as requiring less skill than other instruments.

"At least one male guitarist expressed a view of the bass as 'the easiest to play well,'" she notes. And many of those she interviewed "assumed that ease of learning would be especially important for women."
I think this is probably bs. If it was easy to play well there would be more stand out bassists. I think it's just a forgiving instrument to play at a basic level. That doesn't mean it's easy to play well. The bass on this track is great:

Flea is a pretty great bassist but you see what he's up against:

It seems like an absolutely toxic way of viewing music and probably one of the many reasons why there are no bands anymore.

And I like some Wolf Alice songs but honestly I'd take Tori over her anyday. In terms of being a role model for playing guitar she didn't really make it obvious in music videos that she even plays guitar so I honestly didn't even know until seeing live footage and some live footage I saw of them was not the best unfortunately vocally from what I remember. When I think of female guitarists I'd think of like Kaki King, or Marissa Paternoster.

There are also of course women who play piano in rock bands like Amanda Palmer, and Amy Lee. So that's not mutually exclusive either.

A stray cat I've never seen before just walked over and sat by me while I cry, maybe the universe is telling me it will be okay
She's cute so my brain was lowkey trying to find a way to dislike her cause of my current mood but that is cute.

I eat my gfs pussy, I'm lesbian, I don't have a pussy, she's still lesbian, eating [BEEP] is usually a lesbian activity, even tho the occasional straight guy does and and it can happen to trans men, holy [BEEP] that person is dense
    That's very sweet of you.

    "Thank you for your service."

    Lol no.

I'm non-binary and not a lesbian or straight but I'm not giving or recieving anyway lol. I hear some non-binary and bisexual people take part in 'lesbian activities.'

i want a girl that gets turned on by how stupid i am, like gets all hot and bothered while im thinking through 13 + 19
jesus christ STOP LIKING THIS IF UR NOT GONNA FIND ME MY GIRL!!!!!
I'd suggest looking for someone with a bimbo kink.

80% of tweets I see now are basically just trans women who sometimes post cute/hot stuff and really annoying right wing male accounts.

It's basically a form of conversion therapy at this point ahahaha (a very weird kind.) Oh my god the [BEEP] basically every man on that site says. It's insane.

I predict we'll see a rise of right-wing cancellation mobs over the next five years
Maybe. But I'm very right wing and if it happens I and others like me will fight against that with every fiber of our being. You underestimate the love of the right for free speech.
This might make sense if there was some kind of equivalence between the right and left but there isn't. Unchecked leftism ultimately destroys the West and many explicitly state this as their goal. The right wants the very opposite. Let them be cancelled

Unchecked right wing ideology leads to genocidal behaviour where the weak are systemically purged from society. The group being purged will increase in size, demographic and traits over time as nothing but the best are allowed to remain and the standards will keep being set higher. Since it's unchecked nothing will ever be good enough or stop it until there's just one person left alive who will perhaps kill himself (will be a him because only hypermasculinity will remain at that point obviously.)

I do believe it could hypothetically get that far, but we've never gotten close to it before because of how civilisation and Human personalities work combined with the fact that the bias that stops most people killing women which is evolutionarily beneficial kind of conflicts somewhat with the direction this ideology moves in.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with what I'm using it for here but it really fits especially with the title 'A Smart Kid' as they are all obsessed with intelligence.

Additionally unchecked right wing ideology is simultaneously motivated by fear - and this is the part that can sometimes appeal to women more - but not just fear in general since both the left and right are motivated by fear (it's a common misconception that the right is more motivated by fear than the left and the left is actually more neurotic on average.) Specifically heightened threat sensitivity towards crime and violence and wanting spaces free from that and restricting freedom of people to get it. I stumbled on a guy like this just now and it seemed to be a trauma response in part for him. Though I don't consider this an excuse I think it's trauma + personality too not everyone responds the same.
