    The latest MRP is wild.

    Lab -> 476
    Con -> 67
    LD -> 59
    Green -> 2
    Refuk -> 0

Like, whooh, they barely get much more than LD. I knew it was going to be bad for them, but if the MRP ends up accurate, holy shit. I mean, not that I'm surprised. So far the campaign has successfully given me a million reasons not to vote for them.

Vote Conservative you will get sent to do national service. Vote Labour, we have a plan to increase the number of NHS appointments and we'll setup a British owned energy company to your energy bills. Decisions, decisions.

Also, I was constantly assured that Reform UK were going to get lots of votes.

'I prefer to look at women,' but, 'watching? male on male relations? I enjoy that': The pornography, literary and film preferences of mostly straight and mostly lesbian women
This study is part of a wider research project into non-exclusive sexuality categories and
identities of women. This project furthers our understanding of cisgender women who
identify as ?mostly straight? or ?mostly lesbian? by exploring the pornography, literary and
film preferences of 32 participants. A thematic analysis of semi-structured interviews revealed
that media preferences did not map onto sexual identity categories i.e. ?mostly straight? women
enjoyed gay male porn. Thematic analysis indicated that sociocultural factors interact with or
supersede sexuality and sexual identity in influencing media preferences. Themes emerging
included the impact of feminism, the intersection of sexuality and faith, the overt politicisation
of LGBT+ media, heteronormative socialisation, and the preferences of straight male partners.
Need to figure out how to read this. Maybe there's a doi code somewhere. It's an odd looking website though. Very interested in the 'Mostly straight' and 'Mostly lesbian' categories atm. And bisexuality in general but I believe those two categories are more likely to be lumped into heterosexuality and homosexuality while being qualitatively different.

Also I think all categories of bisexual women are more into gay male erotica and porn generally well m/m not necessarily gay than complete lesbian and heterosexual women are (a hunch,) and I would like to see more research exploring that.

Like how most slash readers and writers on AO3 are bisexual women according to surveys.

But also irritating how most are lumped into straight or lesbian while increasingly notable differences are reported in different studies ,(sometimes noticed during the study unexpectedly.) I am curious about all these things.

I mean even people writing and talking about female sexuality will do this. ('Women love slash fanfiction' Do they in general though? 🤔 now I'm using my phone it keeps suggesting this thinking emoji that amuses me so I'm using it in posts lol. I dunno why it's funny to me. Lack of sleep probably )

Another reason I am curious is that I think bisexuality is overrepresented among non-binary people and trans guys at this point. At least pre-hrt.

I would also like to know if 'lesbian' porn is more popular among bisexual men. Also cis and trans women together.

    Asking for a non-binary friend.

    🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

I bet these emoji will look different again on windows. I'll miss you Android think emoji.

I removed my other post but I still want to torture Bronze Age Pervert with kitten videos.

You will be absorbed into the cuteness borg.

Just like Brassica Prime but cuteness instead of cabbages and nutrients.

Well you will if you annoy me and keep trying to mess with trans women and cute guys so it's your choice.

On one hand such people as the modern queen have always existed but on the other, there are many specimens now who become this, who would not have before. It is very unfortunate event in life of animal
In the remote future, should the evil of human innovation continue unchecked, we really will live in the world the Gnostics
feared, and that spark of vital life and energy that is the gift of
nature to all youthful peoples born from its womb, that spark
will remain entrapped in ?matter wrongly configured,? matter
entirely foreign to its inborn desires and workings, but
fashioned instead for the benefit of something else. In many
ways the world we inhabit now already anticipates this living
hell of the Gnostics, and the response of those in whom the
pain of civilization and modernity is most advanced, the
transsexuals, unwittingly help to further uncouple reality from
nature, and to make our progressive domestication more
    totalitarian and aggressive.
Tacitus describe life of Germanic warrior, who lived his whole life dedicated to war and fame, never became a domestic!
It's very easy (and amusing) for me to self insert as the villain of his narrative.

I also wonder if some ancient civilization has managed to escape all these cycles of destruction and has hidden underground somewhere. Maybe they are really eternal and live life as an experiment, detached, seeing it as a playful dream they can observe at a distance? maybe an emissary surfaces from time to time so
they can amuse themselves. I shudder to think, though, that by
this same reasoning the aborted robot life to which the mass of
mankind inevitably degenerates in each cycle of civilization
also survived, maybe in small communities of ?moles,? inside
dry hills of limestone, or not far underground in old networks
of caves and tunnels. No doubt stories of vampires, kobold,
cryptid humanoids and many others might refer to these
degenerated stragglers that prey on us and terrorize us?.no
doubt many among the ranks of deities have come from both
types, and stranger things still exist under the earth
I want to reiterate for the billionth time he has several degrees from Yale, MIT etc.

Frankly stranger things *synthwave music* exist above the Earth.

Ticketmaster confirms data hack which could affect 560m globally
"As of the date of this filing, the incident has not had, and we do not believe it is reasonably likely to have, a material impact on our overall business operations or on our financial condition or results of operations. We continue to evaluate the risks and our remediation efforts are ongoing", it added.

American website Ticketmaster is one of the largest online ticket sales platforms in the world. This hack is one of the biggest in history in terms of global victims but it’s not yet clear how sensitive the data is that is in the hands of cyber criminals.
The Ticketmaster breach was first revealed by hackers who posted an advert for the data on Wednesday evening. Ticketmaster refused to confirm it to reporters or customers and instead notified shareholders late on Friday.
In 2020 it admitted it hacked into one of its competitors and agreed to pay a $10m fine.

In November it was allegedly hit by a cyber attack which led to problems selling tickets for Taylor Swift's Era's tour.

Earlier this month, US regulators sued Live Nation accusing the entertainment giant of using illegal tactics to maintain a monopoly over the live music industry.

The lawsuit from the Department of Justice said the firm's practices had kept out competitors, and led to higher ticket prices and worse service for customers.
Wow I knew this company was [BEEP] but they really are the worst.

It really is a bad time to enjoy live music.

Lol ended up back on r/USdefaultism because someone in the ticketmaster thread was talking about 'events in the country' like it wasn't a global hack and the recent posts are hilarious.

There was a discussion where one person was like 'the woman in this photo isn't a teen because there is alcohol' someone pointed out she was British and 18 then that same person responded saying 'didn't realise she was a foreigner. She should respect laws while here' Yes this is the logical first assumption to make when someone points out someone is British. Where do most British people live again lol? (When not on the American internet.)

I fly to the US for all my social media pics. doesn't everyone?
Someone reported some guy for using the word [BEEP] for cigarette with clear context on a Scottish subreddit of all places. You can't escape even there.

Someone assumed OP is American based only on the fact he's in a "foreign" country.
He said he was homeless in a foreign country for 5 days and could use some hugs so someone suggested he go to the US embassy.

I'm Finnish. The American embassy would be confused as hell if I showed up :D
    Lol.

Lol I choose to believe that this person just has great faith in the American embassy to look out for all people, not just Americans.
    That would be cute.

There's even a better example in the comments there, an American admitted they thought OP was an American "because they spoke English", others commented "a lot of people speak English" and they even tagged this sub.
    1. One of the most widely spoken languages globally.

    2. It's not even called USican.

Lol reminds me of this old lady I met in a train once. She was a tourist and extremely nice and polite, like imagine the perfect grandmother you can.

Anyway, she asked me the Do's and don'ts of being in India and I told her to only drink bottled water (or filtered water) for the time being. Cause while our guts have had decades of experience getting used to the water here, the number 1 complaint foreigners make after coming to India is an upset stomach.

She was looking concerned while I was talking but at my last sentence her expression completely relaxed, and she says "Oh that's alright dear, I'm not a foreigner, I'm American"

    Bless her soul lol

If there's one thing that gets my goat it's gender- specific toys. Today we went to see Santa with Leonie, AJ and four of their friends who all happened to be boys. Leonie saw another child unwrap a car which he'd just got from Santa. 'I hope Santa gives me a blue racing car like that one, she said. Leonie's friends all got cars from Santa. Leonie opened hers and it was a tea set. Because of course only men drive cars and only women make cups of tea in 2018 don't they??
Cool just realised there's a feature to extract text from screenshots (at least on my phone browser.) That's very useful.

The only time I remember going to a Santa who gave gifts I got a calculator lol but I actually needed one! I was very impressed though I knew Santa wasnt real. I don't know if they had a way for parents to tell Santa what to give the kid first, can't remember now. Maybe I'd told my mum about the calculator before then.

Also the memory is vague now so could be combining memories. I definitely needed and got a calculator at one point. But I was so excited about that so let's pretend it's a real memory either way.

'Oh my God I got a calculator!'

'What is wrong with this kid?'

I can imagine this wouldn't be super fun for a lot of kids. I needed one for school lol.

Actually I used to daydream about calculators having games on and things like that (I mean some do but none I had.) This was the 90s/early 2000s so I had a tamagotchi, and this vtech toy computer I really liked, and a game boy color and later game boy advance, and some other handheld gaming thing that was very y2k that I forget the name of. Plus some other things I forgot at a Carbost sake or maybe my brother got some things and I played with them too.

I guess if some of those kids are her brothers she could play with their toy cars. Not the same but I used to do that with my brother's toys. He had this cool little red car that was realistic looking with little wind mirrors that I liked. I also used to mess around with this guy on a motorbike toy that he had and that toy became part of the universe story I created surrounding our rooms and the toys lol..

It would really suck I think to be a gender nonconforming kid with no siblings and everyone constantly buys you gender typical stuff.

As an adult I have an aunt who in the last two years has gotten me very girly presents for Chrismas that are just of no use to me or my thing like some pink hair brush and some pink slipper sock with love hearts all over. My brother liked the stuff she got him because they were more his thing. He found it kind of hilarious how wrong that stuff was for me lol.

I mean I was into that kind of hyper girly pink aesthetic in early childhood but grew out of that rapidly and even then I liked other stuff as well so it really can be very limiting.

Also like when my brother was a kid he went through a phase of carrying around a spoon with a face he drew on called spoony maybe dj spoony I forget and also looked after a baby doll he named (it was his own baby doll) he's more thing then people oriented I would say? Psychologically masculine mostly. Even when people like that are kids they still sometimes like to mix things up. He also roleplayed as an elderly woman a few times because of this wig we had around.

Oh god, there he is again
Lol he looked like an evil wizard. I compared him to that occult ex cult PUA guy who is supposedly 'behind the creation of Andrew Tate' but like with longer hair.

Always makes me laugh when they try and figure out why we chose flights over trains.

So - here we go, personally i think its obvious -

    Return Plane London - Edinburgh -> 31.
Return Train London - Edinburgh on the same day - 88.75 with a railcard, 138 without.

I got suggested some video which I'm sure is going to be pretty dumb and ideological called 'Why Everything Is Ugly Now.' Seems to have something to do with Eurovision.

I assume it's going to be dumb because the comments are mostly religious conservatie nonsense and the video uploader is liking a lot of the comments lol. Also I have actually watched about a minute of the video now so I know where it's going and this is a tale as old as time really anyway.

    It's not ugly it's demonic.
It is uglification. Postmodernism is responsible for this chaos. It is the art of despair - reflecting a state of meaninglessness and hopelessness.
let's thank all of this to Andy Warhol and Marilyn Manson
Reminds me of the kids in highschool that used to write Led Zeppelin 666 on their books to be like their dumbass freinds.
Goodness how old are these people lol...

I still really like the aesthetic of this era of music video (she's one of my favourite music video directors) Floria Sigismondi:

    Lol:

    Its called aesthetic terrorism
It must be stopped from airing. Must be BANNED.
We are living in the age of ugliness. Everything that is beautiful is destroyed. Beauty standards are being subverted. It's the end of beauty. I refuse to consume the ugly.
You guys are being so dramatic, lol
    Absolutely.

Is it innovative? No. I haven't watched the Eurovision performance but I listened to one of their other songs it's just modern electronic pop music like a lot of other stuff. Doesn't personally interest me that much (at least not immediately,) but it sounds fine. The demonic edgelord occult thing inspiring much goes back to at least Crowley and the decadents etc - Oscar Wilde, Rachilde (who were mostly also queer.)

It's just it still bothers you so no one has to put in more effort. And bothering you is fun because you're ultimately Darwinian snobs. Which ultimately is exactly what this song was about too back in the day (also by that music video director of course):

I have tattoos, had piercings and colored chaotic hair.. the peak of my Marxist indoctrinated mental illness era. Now I just withdraw myself from all of that. I had a chaotic relationship with my father but I genuinely respect him and he loved me, so his questionable controlling and over protective behavior, was just him being a dad. I still am a music enthusiast, but I keep it toned down. Being attractive is better than being ugly, it's weird how it's being encouraged.
I wouldn't make excuses for it.

You're about 50-60 years late. Tattoos or piercings being normalized is something the counter culture of the 60s was trying to do. It worked. Nowadays, the new trend is exploring sexuality.
    Ah yes. 'The new trend':

Raoule gazed upon him for some moments, wondering with a kind of superstitious terror whether she had not, in the manner of God, created a being in her own image. She touched him with a glove tip.

    ...

"Ali!" he would say, pressing himself to her anxiously, you will marry some day and leave me!"

This matched his blond freshness with the softening grace of a young girl seduced, who glimpses the prospect of being forgotten.

"No, I shall not marry!" Raoule asserted. "No, I shall not leave you, Jaja, and if you are good you will always be mine ...

They both laughed, but they were more and more united by a common thought: the destruction of their sex.

    ...

"Madly in love! Yes! Already, having the certainty that I shall never be understood, I intend to raise an altar to my idol ...! Alas! Can a passion against nature that is also a true love ever become anything other than a dreadful folly ...

"Raoule," said the baron de Raittolbe effusively, "I am surely convinced that you are mad. But I hope to cure you. Tell me the rest, and let me understand how, without Sappho's example, you can be in love with some pretty girl or other?"

"I am a man in love with a man, not a woman!" she retorted, as her shadowed eyes turned away from the glittering gaze of the Antinous.

    ...

Before retiring to her bedchamber, Raoule went to see her aunt. The latter was kneeling at a lofty, grand prieDieu and reciting the prayer to the Virgin:

"Remember, oh sweet Virgin Mary, that it has never been known that those who have recourse to you have ever been abandoned ..."

"Has anyone ever asked her to grant them a change of sex?" the young woman wondered, sighing as she embraced the pious old woman.

Her work was noted for being frank, fantastical, and always with a suggestion of autobiography underlying questions of gender, sexuality, and identity.
Whatever the circumstances in which it was written, the book was first released in 1884 by Belgian publisher Auguste Brancart with the dedication, "We dedicate this book to physical beauty," and a warning that any woman might secretly harbor the same desires as the depraved heroine of Monsieur Venus. As was common at the time, the novel was serialized prior to its publication in one volume.[5][4]
Oscar Wilde read the book while staying in France in 1889. Not only was he a fan, it is believed he drew inspiration from the novel for his own work, paying it tribute by naming the book that ensnares Dorian Gray Le Secret de Raoul.[22][4] Monsier Venus is also credited with paving the way for other, less extreme, and ultimately more successful writers such as Colette to explore gender and the complexities of sexuality in their own work.[23]
The Belgian authorities were aggressive in pursuing legal action against Monsieur Venus. A trial was held on charges of pornography. The author of the book was found guilty in absentia; the court ordered fines and two years of prison time. Belgian officials confiscated and destroyed every copy of the book they could find. While there is little question that the book qualified as obscene under existing statutes, Brancart the publisher was already on their radar for a number of reasons, a situation that likely contributed to the speed and thoroughness of their response. For her part, Rachilde simply avoided returning to Belgium and thereby escaped her sentence. French authorities began to monitor her, however, so Brancart hid most of her personal copies of the book, though no further legal action was taken against her.[2][4]
The pseudonym Rachilde gave young Marguerite some initial anonymity and a measure of gender ambiguity, but it was more than that. When her identity was discovered, she explained that Rachilde was the name of a long-dead Swedish lord who had come to her in a seance. This allowed her to shift the blame for her perverse writings to spiritual possession, but that also gave her an internal explanation for why she felt unnatural and unlike the others around her. This idea would be recapitulated later in life with the idea of possession by a werewolf.[4][5][2]
3 But throughout their long life, Rachilde rejected the category of woman in myriad ways, sometimes insisting that they were a man, and other times that they were a werewolf. 4 In Pourquoi je ne suis pas feministe, Rachilde wrote of wishing to 'rester neutre, en prenant des notes sans prendre partie' (1928, 84).
'remain neutral, taking notes without taking sides'

Just because you've been annoyed (for over a hundred years,) doesn't make it new.

Honestly I really do understand how vampires must feel when I read comments like this lol.

If you want people to change how they offend you, you have to change your own script. If you want to destroy Satan you have to stop arguing in favour of Yahweh.

But they don't get that and sadists are easy believe me. 'Oh this freaks people out. Fun.' I try not to go too far with that but still. Whatever works I assume.

Also we do really need a new story. The bible is thousands of years old and everything is put into this binary.

In the shadowed recesses of our world, there thrives the Subhuman, a vile harbinger of desolation, etched from the very essence of repugnance. This abominable entity, a grotesque mirage of life, roams the realms of creativity and beauty with malice in its heart, a relentless storm of destruction. Born from the ashes of desecration, it is the antithesis of grace, an embodiment of corruption, seeking only to degrade the splendors it can never possess.
I don't bother with my self image these days but I can't stress enough how entertaining the people they're talking about find this shit. I know because I have the personality type.

I've spoken to a lot of young people who firmly believe we're living in the greatest times the human race has ever seen.
I think we're living in chaos. Evil times.
After more conversation with young people I found out they weren't actually happy themselves, but it was the fact that the people they were influenced by on social media were happy because they'd attained what is socially accepted as "success" and were happy as a result.

Odd that young people think the world is happy and great because social media stars with a certain amount of financial and social success are happy.

It doesn't occur to them that that isn't the status quo.
I mean you can copy text from a photo now. I was talking to my brother about that earlier and we both thought that was pretty cool while walking under these pretty trees and looking at some interesting houses. We had a challenge to see how much money we could find on the street which is a game we play a lot. I won because I found 5p, he found 1p.

I'm not dying of the plague.

It's far from a perfect life considering all my issues etc, but I can't imagine wanting to have lived in any other time period in the past with my personality.

It's the small moments in between and the way you frame things. Like a muscle you have to excercise. But it is hard especially when things you don't like are shoved in your face, and you're struggling with various life events, or you want something you can't get, and for people like these commenters (conservative,) - probably impossible. They have too high expectations and struggle to find ways to transform darkness into something interesting. I mean if you believe what Jordan Peterson says they're incapable...

I live in an infamous [BEEP] hole and see interesting and pretty things all the time when I bother to leave the house. Do you ever just go for a walk?

That guy lives in Ireland so I know it can't be that bad. Many of the commenters probably live in the US so I can't speak to that but based on photos even areas that seem sort of souless in numerous ways are interesting to me for one reason or another. Often the geography is great in many regions too.

You look at a carpark and see a carpark. I look at it and think 'wow is this a private car park? Oh no it's residential can't go in the door is open though and look at the lighting. This is an interesting liminal vibe/setting. Look at the contrast between this weird car park behind the open door like a portal and the street during the sunny afternoon. What if there was a vending machine here that transported people to a room full of vending machines that took people to other dimensions/universes?' (The vending machine idea is an older one from several months or so ago probably.)

Liminal spaces are those weird, atmospheric, and sometimes-eerie places that look like the gateway to another realm.
Just be more insane bro. Lol...

I don't endorse everything he is saying and says (obviously,) it's just funny.

    Quote Jordan Peterson
Here's a way of thinking about artistic and creative people from a biological perspective. So imagine that the world is basically an explored territory inside an unexplored territory. [..]Conservatives like to be in the middle of things that are known and they master that space and they're good at maintaining it. But the artists like to be right out on the edge and that's the edge between chaos and order and they like to expand the dimension of order out into the chaos. [...]

You can see very concrete examples of this if you think about what creative people do in cities. They always do the same thing. So they're starving to death and this is partly why but they go in a city and they look at some ratty area that's sort of quasi-criminal and it's seen better days and they go there and they think. You know with a little work this could be cool and so they rush in there they build some galleries and show some art, and they civilise it a bit and then a coffee shop pops up and then the next thing you know the yuppies move in because they're sort of creative but also conservative so they're the next ones into the frontier and then the developers show up and they kick all the artists out but that's OK because then the artists go off and rejuvinate some other area and that's what artists do.
    God is representative of beauty.

Evil is representative of darkness and ugliness.

We know this on an instinctive level. It's hard wired into us.

I (still) need to hear this album live so badly.

I actually don't watch Eurovision but I know it's been camp and political and so on for years. Not a problem but the purpose is just clearly not whatever this guy is arguing in favour of (I'm not super old so I don't know if it ever was, but sort of doubt it,) but I assume there's a bit more to it than just Eurovision but even so. Why include it in his argument at all?

    The impulse is pure
    Sometimes our circuits get shorted
    By external interference

    Signals get crossed
    And the balance distorted
    By internal incoherence

    A tired mind become a shape-shifter
    Everybody need a mood lifter
    Everybody need reverse polarity

    Everybody got mixed feelings
About the function and the form
    Everybody got to deviate
    From the norm
