Moving across the continent

Wanting to move across the continent form maine US to Edmonton Alberta canada.. any tips advice? I've never lived on my own so the prospect is terrifying haha

I moved from the UK, to America at the age of 23 with my kids. It is HARD. But having someone supportive of me, really helped. They where young but counted on me. Make sure you have a job, and everything set up before you go, so you don't have to panic about those things.
