I think when people watch people who have very little to say and then just 'react' to stuff it must be either that they find the person attractive or like a general parasocial loneliness thing where they just want the illusion psychologically of watching something with someone else. I suppose I can't fault them for that if it helps them cope with atomisation and loneliness of our current culture.

The creators should have more thoughts about what they're reacting to though. Not a problem I'd generally have lol. I have 3949302590325803 thoughts about everything but I don't make reaction content myself.

There was a video someone made with content similar to my own where the creator used a lot of footage from other's videos without giving credit. They included a thumbnail of one of my videos but not sure if there were any clips or not but they didn't credit anyone. They have since started crediting people in newer videos though at least. They also added a bunch of their own commentary so it wasn't just reuploading. More of a video essay than reaction content.

Most people have either asked me or given credit when including clips of my videos in theirs although generally they are part of the same community and not super popular channels. Not some random low effort reaction channel like these.

At one point they point out that their level of lazyness is impressive and honestly I thought that earlier lol. Like I am the laziest, most unmotivated person ever and yet put in a considerable amount more effort into my YouTube content lol. I have been bested.

Oh well obviously. I wrote her off after watching her debate with nominalnaomi where she decides to just start talking about how 'black people enjoyed being slaves' because of a 'Matt Walsh' documentary. She also seems almost exactly like Justpearlythings with the same arguments and opinions on topics including this slavery viewpoint, and right down to the haircut as I mentioned in another post recently lol.

Oh nevermind they did bring Naomi up later in the video lol. Yeah that debate was crazy.

Lol yeah the thing where they get really pissed off by people pointing out killer's pronouns. No OK then let's play that game. Let's misgender all killers because they did a bad thing. Let's refer to every male killer using she/her pronouns now. No? I didn't think so lol.

Actually in the case of that trans school shooter it's important to keep clarifying that they are not a trans woman specifically because people hear 'trans' and just think 'trans woman' and did with him as they do with most afab trans people. But no they were GENETICALLY FEMALE/AFAB so I spent a lot of time on twitter telling people that at the time, because people commit violence against trans women occasionally and others on the basis of assuming they are trans women because of their hatred towards trans women which includes a complex assuming trans women are all violent/predators.

Woman with dementia, 86, beat up by thug and put in wheelie bin because he thought she was trans
"It has impacted her life in a major way and significantly reduced her quality of life," he said.

He added that his mother had become obsessed with her "near-death experience", regularly repeating the words, "please stop killing me" and "are you trying to kill me?"

She also suffered bouts of physical shaking, which have since improved, did not sleep well, and has had to move into a nursing home due to "fall risks", he said.
Bailey?s lawyers told the court he had "induced psychosis" after taking a significant number of intoxicants, and was under "the delusional belief that the victim was a predatory pedophile" and a male dressed as a female.

They added that their client was deeply sorry for the pain and suffering he caused and that he had ?10,000 (approximately 8,700 pounds) with him at sentencing to offer as a token of his remorse. MacGowan rejected the money and it will reportedly be donated to a hospital where she received treatment after the attack.

The judge sentenced Bailey to three years in prison, backdating it to when he was taken into custody and suspending the final six months on a number of conditions, including good behaviour for two years post-release, abstaining from drugs and alcohol, and attending to an addiction centre for a year.
The really gross thing about this story is it's not clear whether he said he thought she was trans to get a shorter sentence or no sentence because in the US you can occasionally get away with murder if you're a straight guy and you tell a court a trans woman or feminine gay man tricked you into having sex with them.

More depressing still or at least equally depressing - most people don't give a [BEEP] until you point out 'oh no cis women are being violently assaulted now too.'

Tbf some of these people I view as grifters who just flip flop constantly probably actually just have or additionally have borderline personality disorder. I can think of at least one person like that who is diagnosed. So yeah the internet is probably a nightmare for people with BPD in particular. Though some of them are likely suffering with NPD as well. And obviously other mental health issues.

All of this is why I think if you struggle with mental health issues a lot you probably shouldn't make your content that you get money off of (which in many cases is people's primary mode of income too,) something that's deeply personal and centred around yourself. You will get trapped in this hellish feedback loop if you do.

It's crazy to think that the initial conditions of the universe led to us being born (assuming the universe isn't eternal). We're essentially consequences of the laws of physics. We are physics.

Are they banning gay trans men (trans men attracted to men,) from chess because they have a high IQ? Categorically I mean their mean IQ was the highest in this paper in the 2000s lol. 123.7:

^ FM is female to male, MF is male to female. It's a bit confusing because it goes by natal sex so basically nonhomosexual would mean a trans woman who is attracted to women or a trans man attracted to men.

No because nobody noticed that from this study they mostly just noticed lesbian trans women have a pretty high IQ too (121.7) and then keep talking about that whenever they can use it as an argument for something.

Some people think IQ has some impact on chess ability.

It doesn't really matter I'm quite dumb and slow and the last time I took an IQ test I got 119. I think my actual IQ based on life success is like 90~ maybe lower. When I was 11 I took an equivalent test and got 94 but apparently it can change for some people over the teen years. Possibly later too but they say it can't change lol..

It's so much worse even. They're stripping post transition trans men of their existing titles in women's divisions unless they can prove they are detransitioning. It's disgusting
Oh OK so the advantage isn't testosterone because post transition trans women are banned from women's titles, and it also isn't IQ or probably anything else neurological because all trans men are banned until they detransition - I assume they mean medically (including the straight ones who are attracted to women, who generally have brains closer to male than female anyway according to research people want to ignore.)

Oh so you're saying cis women are magically disadvantaged intellectually? In a way that transcends everything? Thanks for that conclusion terfs. It's their gender identity + sex or something I see.

    This definitely sounds like feminism.

Do they realise the implications of what they're saying? I mean they do this with most things as far as I can tell but usually they can argue it's a 'danger/threat/violence' thing like they have to ban both trans men and trans women who are post transition from various spaces including toilets and changing rooms because they can't tell between trans men on testosterone and cis men (tbf people also can't tell between butch lesbians not on testosterone and cis men, or cis women and trans women, or trans women and anyone it seems,) plus trans men have a higher level of testosterone. Except in prisons. Arbitrary rules of online terf discourse. In this case this has nothing to do with potential violence so you're just stripping trans men of their titles because:

    1. You think cis women are stupid so trans men shouldn't be lumped with them

    2. You hate trans people.

Also women's chess is dumb conceptually. Compete with men and stfu.

Yeah, and trans women keep mens titles. Weirdly tho polygender people are explicitly excluded from the rules
It's because we're Schrodinger's idiots. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if we were banned somehow lol. But probably not because they actually don't have a men's league just one for everyone and one for women.

I went out, got pooped on by a bird (among other things,) came back, and continued reading comments on this video lol:

Next up will be card games.

"Women are disadvantaged by the lower card/wrist-size ratio, and men are more stoic by nature. We have to protect the womenfolk."
I'm pretty sure I was the only person who was afab who went to local card game tournaments when I was a teenager and I'm also non-binary (wasn't out then at all.) Maybe my female friend went to one or two can't remember but then she moved away and so it was just me. They'd never be able to gender segregate those lol. I mean besides the fact they're already gender segregated by selection effects.

"Real women are all lesbians who are into anime, porn, editing wikipedia, gaming and open source software"
[BEEP] yeah, I'll drink to that! I wish all transphobia was this on-point and made us sound so cool.
^ Hmm have the people who pretend they're defending cisgender lesbians ever met any cisgender lesbians? Or non-conforming women in general? I feel like they haven't ever somehow. Also I'm pretty sure any remotely nerdy person under the age of 35 has watched anime at some point and played video games. The friend I was talking about above once watched some weird lesbian hentai film by accident I think lol involving a ship. Maybe it wasn't a lesbian hentai film though this is all I remember now lol - that it sounded weird, she didn't know what she was watching, there was a ship, it was a hentai film we were 15/16 or something. We watched all of this in like one night once together lol. Like I think we stayed up all night watching it round her house. I'm just posting this because this theme was really great (this isn't the weird lesbian ship hentai film, it's actually even weirder than that. No but maybe.):

The tentative budding relationship between petite Chise and bitter, emotionally distant Shuuji becomes a little more complicated when Shuuji discovers that Chise has been converted into a living weapon of mass destruction by the JSDF.
    It's very light hearted. /s

I'm a basic [BEEP] though so my favourite anime back when I watched anime was obviously Death Note. It had some great soundtrack music too yes.

Oh this song was inspired by Death Note lol (and 'anonymous troll demons' I guess):

My favourite manga was Fruits Basket mostly because it was the only manga series I read all the way through and bought every volume of (manga is pretty expensive when you can read a volume in a day easily.)

Once at a sleepover round her other house she fell asleep leaving the TV on so I ended up watching Freddy Got Fingered lol because it started playing on TV at some point and couldn't sleep. That's how I saw that film. Such a weird film. I wasn't sure if I hallucinated it haha.

    Nope stop missing people. Bad.

    Oh this is fun lol:

As a young girl, I was drawn to chess because it WASNT gender segregated, and I could prove I was just as capable (if not more so) than the guys who belittled me. There was one annual all girls (PLUS GENDER MINORITIES) tournament I liked to go to, but that was just to get a sense of community.
"Could prove i was better" still goes to all womans event for some reaosn lol. You people are goofy as hell
Did you... read their comment? To the end?
the part where she never went to an all inclusive tournament? Yeah i read that part. That was literally the crux of my comment.
She was so attracted to chess because of the non segregated nature that she decided to go to the all female (plus fake fairy tale genders) tournament to prove that she was just as good as the men who werent allowed to compete there unless they claimed to be a god or something silly
A golden God (I love how this is just 20% of guys online):

Video uploader responded/joined in with the arguing lol:

She never said she DIDNT go to inclusive tournaments, only that she went to ONE women?'s tournament. Your reading skills are abysmal and so is your attitude.
no i think if she had it wouldve been mentioned due to the nature of the comment. I understand it can be read in that light but that doesnt mean its the sole interpretation.
I assure you my reading comprehension is just fine. The attitude though, well ill freely admit i dispise ignorance and have a low tolerance for stupidity and self victimization
[...] After some more arguing with someone else lol:

ahh : ( you assume im a male because i find it funny that so many girl think its necessary to prove theyre capable?
And as i said my reading comprehension is fine lol. Yes thats one of the ways you could interpret what was said but i think givin the context of the comment it would have been mentioned if they did in fact attend other tournaments, and i think it certainly wouldve been mentioned if she ever proved to her oppressors how much bigger and stronger and chessier she was because that was the entire point wasnt it? Be a weird thing to leave out if she accomplished the goal she stated and then didnt mention it
Lol, since ~some people~ need clarification, yes 99% of the time I went to gender inclusive chess tournaments. I was a serious chess player. Since the age of 7 I went to bi-weekly chess club, took weekly chess lessons, did chess puzzles and watched online lectures, and spent many many of my weekends competing in open tournaments. This meant playing almost entirely against guys. Each tournament had 5 games (3-4 if it was a mini bonus tournament, or had longer games) and in a year?s time I may only play 5-10 total tournament games (out of probably 100+) against girls (outside of my friend group, and the ONE all girls+ tournament). I went to states and nationals (though ironically states was better respected). I continued onto my high school?s varsity chess team. So yeah, I?ve played a lot of chess. Alas, I also have many other hobbies, and so I don't play much anymore. My fondest memory was wearing a T-shirt to tournaments saying Think girls can't play chess? Try playing without your queen.? And my second fondest memory was the feeling of seeing my opponent relax when they realized their opponent was a girl, and then start to panic when I was winning. Life isn't all about showing guys that girls are capable at stuff too, but it's surely satisfying. I faced a lot of overt sexism as a kid (and sometimes still do). I liked a lot of masculine coded activities (rough sports, coding, video games, math) and chess was the place where I was somehow the least gate-kept from. I now study engineering, coding, and have done 4 different martial arts + years of water polo. Live your dreams 💖 it's hard to challenge expectations, and go where you aren't wanted, but if it's what makes you happy it's worth fighting for. (I also love wearing artsy patterned skirts, nurturing houseplants, and many feminine coded things they coexist happily). Also I don't really subscribe to the concept of gender, besides as a tool for communicating shared social experiences. I'm definitely somewhere under the nonbinary umbrella. So I'm more than happy to play chess with trans people. Heres to making chess inclusive 🏳️*⚧️✨✌️
And she's clarified that you were wrong. Are you going to apologize?
    no i dont think so
And the arguing goes on for a long time after that.

Wow this song is actually way better live:

That doesn't necessarily happen with Rush or sometimes it seems pretty close. It does happen with most of Steven Wilson's and Porcupine Tree's music. I mean I'll never get to see Rush live obviously but based on YouTube live uploads. I have seen Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree live several times and many of their recorded songs are better live. But also some live recordings on YouTube are way better like Raider II obviously:

    I thought so in person:

^ Holy [BEEP] speaking of anime this is the first time I ever noticed Craig Blundell (the drummer) was wearing a Tokyo Ghoul t-shirt haha. Dunno if he was wearing that at the concert maybe not but wouldn't have noticed from where I was anyway.

Maybe but the upload quality is poor:

The vocals at the end here are better but I prefer the musical ending with the keys on the studio version:

It's not a stark contrast though like I feel there is with Raider II.

What is it with people and Pokemon/Magic cards? They are just pieces of cardboard. lol. I mean, when I was a kid I had Pokemon cards, but that was just because it was the cool thing to have at the time and I was just an impressionable kid. I think a lot of people are trying to find valuable cards. It's basically gambling. But either way, a piece of cardboard shouldn't be valuable just because it's scarce.

MTG and Yugioh are fun to play but I don't like how expensive trading card games are or collect cards. I used to collect Pokemon cards as a kid for a while but never really played the game properly lol.

Some magic cards are insanely expensive like the Black Lotus card which can be worth like $540,000. Now they've released a Lord of the Rings One Ring card and I think there's only going to be one or something insane like that? So of course it will probably be worth millions. I don't really care for the artwork on the card ironically. (There are cheaper/common cards with better artwork imo.) I also don't really like how they've just added a bunch of cards from an entirely different universe into the game (and looking into it now it's not the first time they've done this, they also released a bunch of Stranger Things and Warhammer 40k cards, but I haven't been keeping up with it lately.) They have done silly things before like Unhinged:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unhing...The_Gathering)

So that isn't necessarily the issue I have with this but yeah 'Universes Beyond' is pretty obviously just a way to make quick cash, using the same manipulative tricks to get people to spend money that most games increasingly resort to. It's like The Sims 4 game pack absolutely no one asked for:

"All this pack brings is a badly done advertising campaign."

"This is just late stage capitalism at work."

Pretty much sums up most of these decisions.

It's very immersion breaking. But in the case of The Sims 4 the game has numerous issues anyway.

At least those cards aren't allowed in standard I guess.

They have brainwashed us into thinking men and women are equal, and have brainwashed us into thinking men are evil and women are victims and that something needs to change in order for women to be at the level of competency of men. Which is absurd and unrealistic. This causes women to resent men and demonize them. Cause women to sham men for their natural needs and try to force change on them! They basically want men to act like women in order for them to be comfortable. With the delusion of independence and women leadership. Its all a brianwash. This is why feminism sucks and its a cancer for society.
    [...]

I'm guessing Jordan Peterson's daughter and friends weren't 'brainwashed' at 5 years old or whatever to dress her younger brother up like a fairy princess. He'd probably argue they were though so whatever. (OK so he says 3 in the video but that's confusing because he said his son was 2 and his kids have a bigger age gap than that according to Google I guess google is wrong or he's lying lol one or the other.)
Yeah so, I was thinking about this again and I don't think the resentment is enough on it's own to fuel that cultural shift. Well maybe it is on an individual level but to the degree (and the manner) that it is perpetuated not really. The sadistic amusement and kink factor is really important too (it was also very obviously important for Valerie Solanas having read her writing.) I know because well, I was doing something earlier 😇 and I stumbled on something that reminded me of a dream I had before a couple of years ago. A lot of this thing was also really blatant politically speaking it even included the word brainwashed 'We're doing experiments on you and you're a soldier and you were brainwashed by masculine men on 'the other side' so we have to bla bla bla,' and also things that might turn me on (though some elements were also off putting.) It wasn't even written for me it was written for a submissive guy.

There's a lot of 'content' like this though. And not just for the gender debate but for every debate that's part of the culture war. There's porn of all these things with multiple narratives/sides, and all of it is quite popular. Lol:

Not that I'm the first person to point this out it's really kind of obvious when you notice the themes, but most people view porn as propaganda which is brainwashing people. Which is interesting because why would it necessarily be that way around? If politics and culture are getting in the way of sex (which they are,) then since Humans are animals something (multiple things most likely,) would probably happen to try and overcome that.

That's a problem I guess, but we can't have a conversation about that. 'It's dangerous' haha:

I think it's a good sexual strategy to make it sound like you're scared of sex if you're a guy. Probably makes you seem less threatening like uh what she jokes about Irish guys sounding sexually innocent though that's probably a more extreme example (couldn't find a clip of just that. 50% of comedy is about sexual orientation and gender now yes. Edit: tbf it probably has been for a long time now):

And I guess it worked for Jordan Peterson because he got married which supposedly is what he wanted. Though he never seems happy to me honestly, but that might just be because neurotic people never are no matter what. Regardless, I don't think it works very well ideologically or politically. Because you're just repressing things. As I said Gabor Mat? described him as an 'agent of repression.' I don't think that's what he meant specifically (in fact he was talking about the way he talked about children actually lol,) but still:

"Fundamentally, I see him as an agent of repression, posing as an agent of libertarianism."

I don't think he was ever really posing though (not effectively anyway,) he always seemed conservative to me.

As a dating strategy it seems to have some positive effect (what he's doing,) but mostly for restricted women which isn't necessarily what straight men are looking for if you consider this quote:

Individuals are able to accurately assess the sociosexuality of computer-generated and real faces, with unrestricted sociosexuality being associated with greater attractiveness in female faces and greater masculinity in male faces. Women tend to prefer male faces associated with restricted sociosexuality, while men prefer unrestricted female faces, both for short-term and long-term partners.[26][27]
So some guys unconsciously try to date unrestricted women because of their preference for certain facial structures, then many of them get annoyed by it and call them 'sluts' to try and shame them into conforming to their ideal behaviour lol.

Quite interesting though (sociosexual orientation has an impact on various things related to attraction and perception):

    https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...91886909002840

    https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...9188691730065X

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sociosexuality

Across two studies, sexually unrestricted men and women showed heightened sensitivity to female facial symmetry (a signal of genetic fitness) and female sexual receptivity (happy facial expressions). In Study 1, individuals assessed the attractiveness of male and female targets of varying facial symmetry. Sexually unrestricted men and women, compared to their sexually restricted counterparts, showed a stronger symmetry advantage in attractiveness ratings for female targets, an indication of greater sensitivity to facial symmetry. Study 2 asked participants to discriminate between genuine (Duchenne) and deceptive smiles on both male and female faces. Results indicated that sexually unrestricted men and women, compared to sexually restricted individuals, were better able to discriminate between these actual and deceptive signals of receptivity for female targets. Neither study found any relationship between sociosexual orientation and the perception of male targets. These results suggest that sexually unrestricted individuals are attuned to reproductively-relevant cues in female faces.
We asked whether women high in sociosexuality (i.e., unrestricted sexuality) would demonstrate greater distinctiveness between short- and long-term mate preferences. In an online study, participants (N = 459) from India and the USA were apportioned a 'mate budget' to construct their ideal short- and long-term partners. Mate Dollars could be spent on either genetic or material traits. As expected, genetic traits were favoured for short-term relationships; material traits were favoured for long-term relationships. However, women with a more restricted sexuality preferred short-term mates who closely resembled their long-term preferences. Women from the USA (with typically less restricted sexuality) showed more distinctive preferences than women from India (with typically more restricted sexuality). Overall, a woman's sociosexuality influences the distinctiveness of her short- and long-term mate preferences.
^ that's interesting because pick up artists and manosphere thinkers fixate on that distinction between short and long term partner preferences in women, which doesn't always exist.

Men and women with an unrestricted sociosexual orientation view short-term mates with greater sexual experience as more desirable, whereas restricted women perceive partners' sexual inexperience as desirable.
I feel like Jordan Peterson should know this as a psychologist. Obviously not everyone is capable of using the same mating strategy as you!?

But I don't know I have a limit. I'm not exactly willing to tolerate the Tate brothers lol. (It's the psychopathy especially that bothers me. This is a bit hypocritical perhaps, but I don't think I'm as psychopathic as him at least.) It's not even just those traits but there's those traits and then there's the complete lack of shame/guilt (which obviously because they're 'psychopaths.') I can't find a clip of this on it's own but the clip with Tristan Tate talking about his 'tips for raising daughters'

They come out with this stuff and act in entirely hypocritical and dishonest ways.

There are many people like this too, they're just the most high profile examples and I'm lazy, so it's easy to use the same examples over and over.

    Quote Tristan Tate
When you run game like me and meet the women who I meet and roll on the circles I meet. You meet beautiful virgins sometimes. Me I'll do two or three virgins a year. Now how do you, date a virgin when you're an ice cold player? There is a tactic which I'm going to share with you on how to date a virgin. [...]

Now, the recipe hasn't changed. But the tactics and implementation has certainly changed. Be their boyfriend for three months and be in a nice relationship with them. That is the recipe. I'm sorry guys. You want to run into a virgin, and [BEEP] them the next day? Don't ask me how. I don't know. I don't think anyone knows. I don't even think it's possible. You have to be their boyfriend for an extended period of time you then have to take her virginity on the second month anniversary or something along those lines and I'm gonna teach you how to do it while still being, in a playboy lifestyle scenario.
Be my boyfriend for six-seven months. I'll break up with you and we'll never have intercourse assuming we do anything sexual at all. 😂 Seriously though it's just so naive that they thought they could get away with that without being destroyed by pissed off women, or putting in work to be a famous musician. Hell even famous musicians don't get away with it anymore because of cultural changes.

The machiavellianism is also offputting. I also understand that part of the reason people end up thinking in these ways is to emotionally distance themselves because they're uncomfortable with intimacy. I understand that very well on a personal and maybe cultural level lol (you know since the UK is so sexually repressed.) Some people are also just psychopaths.

Also I'm just going to have to be blunt/shallow here it's the part where they represent this particularly unappealing masculine archetype (at least unappealing to me.) The whole hair backstory where Andrew Tate shaves it off because caring about hair is unmanly and his dad shamed him for that and then felt the need to remind everyone of that story. What a fascinating specimen. I can tell his dad fucked him up a lot so it's interesting. At least Led Zeppelin were pretty you know? And they made good music. (Why am I bringing them up? No it's not just because I can't stop talking about music it's because they were quite notorious sexually speaking lol.) But personally I'm not attracted to any of them (even when they were younger,) and still prefer Geddy Lee (at least for now.) It's not even about him really. Obviously I don't know him. No it's a serious problem though I'll just stare at this and other gifs for hours:

I thought this a few times while looking at that first gif except he's a man:

    Quote Contrapoints
My attraction to women is very different. I look at a beautiful woman and it's just like, Oh nooooo. You're gorgeous, you're beautiful? This is going to destroy me! 🙂

You know, it can actually be painful how beautiful a woman is. I've never once been in pain over male beauty. But around Joanne, once I was open about my feelings and things got bad, there'd be moments I'd have to just look away from her and be like, "Don't even enter my line of sight right now, you're too beautiful, I can't stand it."
Also in regards to these quotes:

    Quote Contrapoints
I mean, not to shame women who genuinely do enjoy a healthier version of that fantasy; I think a lot of women pointlessly suffer under a kind of feminist guilt about that. But what makes me different is that for me, submission to a man was simply the only way I could enjoy sex without shame. And that's a lot of what I did for a couple years, even though my real sexual attraction is to women. Whereas, even in the most patriarchal situation, straight women are ultimately attracted to men, and sexually aroused by male bodies.

Or are they? Gay men certainly are, and gay women are just rhapsodic about women, but a lot of straight women are just kind of "meh" about male bodies and men in general. What is that about? 🧐I just... I just do not understand straight women. I don't think I ever will. And that's okay. I'm just gonna accept my bewilderment, and move on with my lesbian life.
    Quote Contrapoints
Then, last Fall, I posted to Instagram an aloof picture of me with the caption, "Do I actually like men? Or do I just like attention?" And I didn't mean anything serious by that. I was just joking around.

You know, you can post something like that, and a bunch of straight women will respond like, "Yeah, [BEEP] men!"

What is their damage? Well, they're stuck dating men, that's their damage.
I think at least part of why she wrote this script was because this bothered her:

    Quote Contrapoints
    [tedious navel-gazing]

For two years I've felt stuck. At the end of 2019 I realized that I'm not attracted to men and never have been. This wasn't a refreshing insight. It was like the painful loss of religious faith, sober but hungover.

I'd wanted to prove to the world, and to myself, that I was a real woman. I still don?t know if I am a real woman, but increasingly I don't care. I just want to feel true to myself, at peace, like I?ve found my place, whatever that might be.

I have not been successful as a lesbian. It's a new problem for me. Before I transitioned women would somehow gravitate into my life without my having to think about it very much. In the first years of transition men begun to gravitate instead. I sometimes feel like I sacrificed my sexual orientation for my gender. It's painful to the point that I've considered detransitioning. But that?s a fantasy solution in the vein of "just try being straight again." I couldn't do it to my body. It would be easier to die.

Some kind of mental block is inhibiting me. Part of it is that I don't know what I'm doing. With men at least you know what they want, disappointing though it is--the hyperfeminine "fantasy," the "illusion" of womanhood we "create." But what kind of women are attracted to trans women? What do they like about us? Is it easier pre-op or post-op? How much does being passable help? Does it help? No one seems to know!

Trans people online generally neglect practical dating advice in favor of this tragic rage against "transphobic dating preferences." Which is as useless as it is off-putting. You can't scold people into wanting you.

I do realize that romance is not salvation. I've been trying to strengthen friendships. Play Bach on the piano. Build a life worth living without love. But I can't escape the feeling that something very important is missing. I guess the solution is to stop overthinking everything and go on dates, just figure it all out for myself. But that's hard, risky. And whining about it is just so easy.

    Pic unrelated
Why am I such a dick? I know. I actually do like Contrapoints and her videos lol. She found a girlfriend a bit later anyway. I didn't think it would be that hard for her. I think she was just struggling because of covid etc. There are less women into her aesthetic after than before but she's still conventionally attractive + intelligent + plays music etc so.

And obviously on some level I'm sad that I'll never get a partner as attractive as her (regardless of gender.) And because I'm 'stuck dating men.' Well I'm not dating them but yeah. If I was. Because my ideal partner is I guess non-binary... But it's more that my brain can't really decide so many people I'm attracted to have to be a man and a woman when it suits my brain or just kind of both simultaneously which isn't how life works obviously lol. I guess that's not so important though if I find them + the relationship dynamic attractive. I just sometimes do that with famous men from a distance for the same reason I've done similar stuff before with fictional characters - because I'm not talking to them and just creating them in my brain. Also I'm just too unattractive and psychologically messed up and have ridiculous standards of course. Basically:

    Sometimes more impossible than others:

And yeah it amuses me when people bring up afab chasers you know when she said 'what kind of women are attracted to trans women.' Cause most of them have just decided they're asexual afaict. It's another conversation that we just don't have culturally either lol. It's just a constant stream of 'OH MY GOD STAY AWAY FROM THE LESBIANS!' (I think it must be very effective against most people. I'm genetically female and I feel like I should stay away from 'the lesbians (tm)' but there are many reasons for that lol. Can't fit an essay into parenthesis) about 50% of the time it's a middle aged cisgender man yelling about this amusingly. Like Glinner. There's also an age gap though concerning the wider debate (I was kind of focussing on the part that's relevant to my post here but while I'm here and because his marriage also failed because of his involvement in this debate, and he has admitted that and then blamed trans people for that. You could say this is also not ideologically useful to personal relationships.) This is a quote from some anon woman I found on his website:

It's helping kill my marriage. He's very much 'no debate' and thinks I'm on the wrong side of history. I can't forgive him for not taking on board my views or even accepting that I, as an older woman, might have a perspective worth listening to. He has advised me to educate myself by reading up on the right kind of feminism, the younger women he follows on Twitter. He really is a complete [BEEP] on the subject and I feel utterly betrayed. We have agreed to avoid the subject. Yeah, he's got a beard.
    ^ At some point terfs decided that pro-trans men in the UK always have beards or something. It was an interesting development. I think that Alan Moore/wizard aesthetic is really cool. B̶u̶t̶ ̶y̶e̶s̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶v̶e̶r̶y̶ ̶s̶h̶a̶l̶l̶o̶w̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶s̶o̶n̶s̶ ̶I̶ ̶n̶e̶e̶d̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶b̶e̶c̶o̶m̶e̶ ̶'̶a̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶'̶ ̶l̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶f̶i̶n̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶ ̶g̶u̶y̶ ̶I̶ ̶f̶i̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶t̶t̶r̶a̶c̶t̶i̶v̶e̶ ̶b̶e̶c̶o̶m̶e̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶n̶ ̶g̶r̶e̶a̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶t̶a̶s̶k̶.̶ ̶ ̶A̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶s̶e̶ ̶g̶i̶f̶s̶ ̶a̶m̶ ̶I̶ ̶g̶o̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶h̶o̶u̶r̶s̶?̶

Something about the internet being a mistake.

But it's fine because I don't think anyone would be flattered by the answers to that conversation most of the time. Thinking about the twitter backlash to this awkward thing some posted on a dating site a while ago lol:

this is worse than regular chasers
    incredible, a nb chaser
If you think that's a new thing then I envy you.

Most chasers within the LGBT community are queer-identified cis women, followed by AFAB non-binary people.
absolutely, yeah. this is just fetishization.
reducing ppl to their genitals but in a cool progressive way
"looking for penis in [BEEP] stuff"
looking for a woman (male) 🥰🥰
transcutie is just calling someone a hon and a trannie but making it UwU
"single parent afab enby looking for an amab trans cutie" atp just say you looking for a man.
^ At least I don't have kids I guess lol.

as an AMAB transcutie i would rather cut off my tits, cook them, and eat them than date this person
Is it THIS hard for people to just write "yeah I like dick from people with boobies"?
Like, we all know this is purely about that.. right? Just be honest and dont try to talk around it while invalidating peoples identity. That shouldnt be that difficult!
If you think this exact side of twitter wouldn't slam dunk someone saying they want 'chick's with dicks' when every other week is "femboy is a slur discourse' you need a reality check
Ewwwww 😟 literally my worst fear is women seeing me as a sex object in makeup
the poster also doesn't specify that they want to find a trans woman, which makes it stranger imo because 'AMAB trans' can mean so many things and i don't think they'd like 99% of them
Yeah, lets be honest with a masc presenting enby they wouldnt be happy
    Advanced Chaserism
if anyone ever calls me an "AMAB transcutie" they will not leave the conversation with their limbs intact
I'd rather be called a tranny at this point on god lmao
hello fellow trannies, i am a non-binary (woman) looking for a bepenised (male) woman willing to subject himself to my dehumanizing fantasies uwu
Theyfab chaser is the most evil segment of society and makes up 10% of the worlds population
^ We probably are some of the most evil people in the world if evil means ruining the game that most people are playing because we don't fit into it and then talking about that online. But I don't think we make up 10% of the world's population lmao. That part is still the most unrealistic honestly.

Also this is just a fraction of the responses there were loads and 99% of them were like this. I don't think re-wording it would ever have satisfied anyone no.

In case anyone ever reads my posts and thinks like 'yeah but what about you?' Because I'm often writing in this detached, analytical kind of way about sexuality. It's basically a subject that interests me a lot in general (sexology,) and I need something to do because I clearly can't date anyone for one reason or another (sometimes violent anger over my gender + sexuality lol. I'm not concerned about the more violent responses though, it's just there's no point trying if people are that disgusted by your sexuality obviously.)

Anyway arguably mating strategies are more/less beneficial in certain social environments so it makes sense that people would argue and fight over the environment. It's not ideal but it makes sense.

Then I also watched this while looking up the other comedy video:

There's a 90% chance that mugging story never happened lol but if someone did say something like that it's because they think that if they do get caught and arrested later they'll get a longer prison sentence for a hate crime. This isn't true in a lot of actual hate crime court cases as they generally just use the 'gay panic' defence.

The gay panic defense or homosexual advance defence is a strategy of legal defense, which refers to a situation in which a heterosexual individual charged with a violent crime against a homosexual (or bisexual) individual claims they lost control and reacted violently because of an unwanted sexual advance that was made upon them.[1][2][3][4] A defendant will use available legal defenses against assault and murder, with the aim of seeking an acquittal, a mitigated sentence, or a conviction of a lesser offense. A defendant may allege to have found the same-sex sexual advances so offensive or frightening that they were provoked into reacting, were acting in self-defense, were of diminished capacity, or were temporarily insane, and that this circumstance is exculpatory or mitigating.[5]

Life is boring as [BEEP] (with my brain).

Religion is bizarre with its obsession with sexual desire. So God created us with these attractions (that we don't have control over) to bodily shapes, yet somehow it's wrong to lust after said bodily shapes. I don't get it. Also, if marriage is such a big deal, why didn't God make it the case that people only be attracted to people they marry.

It's weird how automatic playing the guitar is once you learn how to play. Everything just flows with very little effort. But I guess it's that way with almost every aspect of the human body. Once you learn a language, talking is effortless. Once you learn how to draw, you don't forget it. The brain is amazing.

I went to Brighton recently and I wasn't disappointed. Oh a couple of disappointing things happened but I wasn't disappointed in the sense that as soon as I got off the train I overheard a conversation about JK Rowling lol. And I do mean the second I got off the train. I hadn't even gotten through the turnstiles yet.

Edit: Also (and this is more important than the rest of this post really.) I went around all those 'coin pusher' gambling machines on the pier to check the slot at the bottom for coins. Not as good as Blackpool because it was only the 2p coins that were being accidentally pushed off in Brighton but there were a bunch of 10p coins from what I remember in Blackpool and I think I made over a pound there in one visit. But still pretty cool. (Also I didn't look at every single machine tbf and some were in use.) Ironically it's a much more fun game than actually paying to use them.

There are pride/rainbow flags and rainbow stuff everywhere in Brighton, I guess they're there all year round now (and probably sometimes it's like when people cba to take their Christmas decorations down.) We've colonised the city. You can't joke about that now because tons of right wing figures online believe that unironically.

    No really it's hilarious:

You can hate me/us but I'm still as British as you ethnically Sargon afaik. (That is to say ironically not 100% British ethnically.) And let's just say that the Muslim immigrants you like to whine about aren't known for being vocal supporters in general. This is a civil (culture) war.

I just have to point out he was a candidate for the South West constituency in the 2019 European Parliament election in the United Kingdom but didn't get elected. What a fucking country lmfao.

Also sorry I'm being kind of woke in this post. There's some historical discussion:

Off the top of my head this is my 3rd favourite headline of all time. Number 1 of course is this:

A [BEEP] Saleswoman Is Apparently In Charge Of An Infamous Neo-Nazi Group On Telegram
    And number 2 is this:

Snowflake students claim Frankenstein's monster was 'misunderstood'
I've said this before but his twitter username is still Sargon of Akkad who was the ruler of the Akkadian Empire. Sargon worshipped the goddess Inanna. Not unlike worshipping Lady Gaga. I like her and her music but I think there are better 'gay icons' and this is a British (tm) post so... Let's go with Kate Bush.

    Edit #284932852 ^ I love how she'd just randomly have a sword/wear armour.

Grimes totally does the same thing haha:

Tbf this is called violence so:

Breathing is my favourite song though obviously. Someone in the comments said this is the only time she played this live which is crazy:

But I prefer the ending on the studio version because it's more aggressive and desperate whereas the above is more melancholic (also I linked the music video before but the album artwork here is really great too):

John Giblin. Your Bass playing contribution to this recording is so profound & well considered (as always) to this haunting masterpiece by Kate. A tragic loss to the music world. RIP
    Yeah.

Of course Lady Gaga somewhat fits better as for whatever reason people decided automatically that clearly she must have a dick.

At the time Inanna's followers or 'fanbase' mostly consisted of effeminate men and third gender people.

Individuals who went against the traditional gender binary were heavily involved in the cult of Inanna.[52] During Sumerian times, a set of priests known as gala worked in Inanna's temples, where they performed elegies and lamentations.[53] Men who became gala sometimes adopted female names and their songs were composed in the Sumerian eme-sal dialect, which, in literary texts, is normally reserved for the speech of female characters. Some Sumerian proverbs seem to suggest that gala had a reputation for engaging in anal sex with men.[54] During the Akkadian Period, kurgarrū and assinnu were servants of Ishtar who dressed in female clothing and performed war dances in Ishtar's temples.[55] Several Akkadian proverbs seem to suggest that they may have also had homosexual proclivities.[55] Gwendolyn Leick, an anthropologist known for her writings on Mesopotamia, has compared these individuals to the contemporary Indian hijra.[56] In one Akkadian hymn, Ishtar is described as transforming men into women.[57][58]
    http://www.melammu-project.eu/databa.../a0001377.html

Although Inanna/Istar is the goddess par excellence, the beautiful maiden full of sex-appeal, she is also depicted as an androgyne, having masculine features, e.g., a beard. In the Old Babylonian sources, Istar was given "masculinity" (nam-gurus) by her father An. In Hammurapi F 2: "O Inanna, to whom An has [given] manliness in heaven and earth!" In Samsu-iluna A 1, she is referred to as "the great knife of masculinity" (giri₂ gal nam-gurus-a). In Assurbanipal's Hymn to Idtar of Nineveh, the goddess is described with the following words (SAA 3 7.6): "Like Assur, she wears a beard and is clothed in brilliance." In her hypostasis as the Venus goddess she was female as the evening star, identified with Istar of Uruk, and male as the morning star, identified with Istar of Akkad. But, in the Neo-Babylonian omen collection, Istar is feminine as the morning star and masculine as the evening star. Inanna/Istar is a goddess who is only endowed with masculine power and attributes (like the beard) in order to be equal with the male gods. She is bipolar in many aspects, and thus she combines and mediates opposites, e.g., she is connected with heaven and the netherworld, or erotic sex and castration. Her androgynous nature is merely one of these aspects, symbolizing sublime purity and perfection.
In Sumerian sources, Inanna is frequently called ki-sikil (lit. "pure place"), a word rendered as "maiden" or "virgin." Occasionally this Sumerian compound word has a "prefix," namely the word l? "man," "male") in front of it. So far, the combination has been translated as "virgin/maiden," taking the word lu for a determinative. Literally, however, the epithet lu-ki-sikil describes Inanna as "male-virgin." Alternatively, the combination lu-ki-sikil can also be rendered as "virgin-man" since, according to the grammatical rules of Sumerian, the adjective stands directly after the noun which it qualifies, thus the combination might be used to describe the goddess androgynous aspect.
"His god and demons have not disappeared at all; they have merely got new names." - Carl Jung.

I guess he was right about that. Jordan Peterson doesn't like this god(dess) archetype at all. 😏

A lot of people consider Inanna to be closer to resembling a transfemme person and I can see why that association exists but really I think she just blends various androgynous stereotypes. The virgin aspect is more associated with androgynous afab people though, and is often an expectation in many cultures like the 'sworn virgins' in the Balkan states and the various European crossdressing women like Joan of Arc. One exception are the bissu group in the Bugis culture who are like priests/shamans who are mostly amab (though not exclusively I think,) but in that case it's probably more because that 'priest' type intermediary role is usually expected to be celibate.

I guess the expectation/description is because that is usually how people like that live or close to. Like I've never had intercourse. Also because some people die young (due to dying in war, or unfortunate burning at the stake incidents etc,) and also because usually female crossdressers in Europe ended up in spiritual/religious roles or ended up being viewed in a similar sense.. (I mean Joan of Arc had 'visions' but I don't think anyone appreciated that while she was alive haha... Her 'heresy' was part of the reason she was killed. Ironically she was later made into a patron saint. I guess that was like the 1920s equivalent of pinkwashing. ) So in those cases celibacy is expected so it's hard to differentiate the two. In the case of the 'Sworn Virgin' group though that was because they were basically taking on a male role so they weren't allowed to do anything men weren't, but female homosexuality was also still not accepted.

Just randomly remembered this song because I wrote patron saint. I know. It's really good though:

I am the patron saint of lost causes
Are we all to you just mere lost causes?
Aren't we all to you just lost

Nobody burnt me at the stake as a teen. A woman told my mum I had very peculiar eyes as a baby or something like that which my mum took offence to I think (I forget the exact descriptor my mum used but she was a stranger and there was some kind of occult context,) then as a teen people just questioned if I was a devil/Satan worshipper and said my tarot card reading suggested I was going to destroy everyone and left it at that and here we are 16 years later (since I was 16.) And it's clearly going well haha. (My life I mean.)

Lol no I don't that sounds painful and I'm actually scared of death. If I was like Deadpool where I could regenerate I might try to gradually acclimatise/desensitise myself to the pain of fire/being burnt sort of like when you go into the sea and it's cold and you gradually walk further and further into the water as you gradually adjust to the temperature. Then I'd just burn myself like a witch in front of people to freak them out. Masochism as sadism. No I couldn't do that, I don't actually want to traumatise them I only want to low-level horrify them. God damn it conscience you're ruining my daydream. Lol no I wouldn't use the power to save people just to freak them out. Definitely a villain. Actually I would do both. It's 2023 villains are all becoming heroes.

A lot of critics of modernity are annoyed by the fixation on the maiden archetype and the neglect of the 'mother' and 'crone.' There's a woman - 'reactionary feminist' (yes please do combine two of my least favourite ideologies together,) - I forget the name of, who is probably from the UK because most of these thinkers are, who talked about that a while ago. I think she's part of that upper middle class pronatalist 'we need to have more kids, the sexual revolution was a mistake, I don't like trans people either because we need to have more kids!' milieu. Like Louise Perry. Like Helen Joyce (though she's Irish.) Often they even look similar but that's true of most ideological groups since Humans are tribal and there's usually genetic, class and age components to beliefs. OK I found her by typing this into Google lol:

journalist reactionary feminist maiden mother crone archetype
    Mary Harrington:

    https://reactionaryfeminist.substack...r-andthe-other

Oh yeah she's very English, very upper middle class. Very annoying of course =P

The transition between maiden and mother that Tucker recounts is the first of three different but interconnected life stages most women experience: a trajectory quite different from that of men, even those men who are fathers. Neopagans draw on many mythological roots to characterise this as the maiden, the mother and the crone: together, the Triple Goddess. Or, as in the Terry Pratchett novel Maskerade, 'the maiden, the mother and 'the other one' because no one dares call Granny Weatherwax a 'crone' to her face.
I preferred Equal Rites where Esk became a wizard =P

Mom Genes shows how transitioning from 'maiden' to 'mother' doesn't just change our social role or daily schedule, but our hormonal, neurological and physiological makeup. She describes the intricate interconnections between mothers and their babies. And at the other end of life, she reflects on alloparenting and grandmotherhood, showing how crucial a role the matriarch plays in the wellbeing of her own daughters, when they become mothers in turn.
The more many of these thinkers talk the less I want to be a mother, or a woman at all. Not that I ever did want to be a mother specifically, or give birth, being androgynous but it moves more from a milder feeling to a kind of 'oh now you're threatening stimuli.' Of course it's OK if someone does want to be a feminine woman and mother and all that, but there's a certain lecturing and controlling quality to these thinkers (not to mention the blatant vocal transphobia that some of them dedicate most of their life too at this point,) that's probably somewhat a side effect of their class background. At least Jordan Peterson kind of owns it, he's admitted that he is kind of telling people what to do before.

Speaking of the transphobia just read this in another article by Mary Harington:

    https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/..._1125x901.jpeg

The image above depicts three males of roughly equal height, two of them artificially feminised, plus three artificially masculinised females also of roughly equal height. Officially, though, it depicts four men - three of whom are for some reason unusually short.

I keep returning to the image with a sense that the three tiny, smiling 'men' capture something about the diminished nature, in a high-tech society, of masculinity as such. This was brought more into focus for me this week by a sad little video, capturing in a nutshell a modern relationship problem that seems all too common:

    https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/...8a_976x774.png

What happens when you have a baby, you feel like you're drowning, and he won't lift a finger? Mum has a baby on her lap; baby tips bowl of baby food onto floor. Meanwhile in the background Daddy is immersed in his video game, wholly cut off from awareness of either his partner or their baby - let alone any desire to relieve her evident state of overwhelm.
It took me several readings of this paragraph + looking at the image and pondering to figure out 'oh right she means the people in the image are transgender' prior to that I assumed by 'artificial' she just meant someone had modified this image using AI or photoediting or something. But then it clicked 'oh right yeah because she's a transphobe so she actually has to make things even more complicated than trans people do somehow.' Her way of putting it is so much more confusing than just saying trans men and trans women. Are some non-binary? Possibly in which case her point is just kind of moot anyway as non-binary people play their own gender games. All the same she can't quite bring herself to view the trans men as women and instead views them as deficient men. Many such cases.

Relatedly cisgender male gamers are now token trans men apparently. I told you gamer was a gender(s.) As the trans men in the image somehow remind her of 'the state of cisgender men with their video games and being useless.'

Well it's either that or she's just implying that 'masculinised females' (trans men,) are something bad because "look at this photo of a guy playing video games while a woman holds a baby, reminds me of these short 'guys' in this other image." which is either misandric, transphobic or misogynistic depending on how you view the people in the image I guess. Really I think it's all three simultaneously which has to be some kind of achievement.

Leaving aside questions of how staged the scenario is,
Well I won't. I think people just look at images like this and just make assumptions automatically regardless of what's actually going on. Because men aren't allowed to just do nothing. Ever.

Very broadly speaking, in terms of the way men and women distributed the work of family life until around half a century ago, women would be more likely to focus inward on immediate social and domestic matters, while men would be more concerned with the pursuit of resources and honour in the wider world. Many satirical postcards from the age of first-wave feminism - the suffragist era - turned on a fear that these roles would reverse, with the result usually being depicted as humiliating for the man:

    https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/...64faf850d.heic

In practice, though, what seems to have emerged recently - and not, I think, directly as a consequence of the suffrage movement - is a different scenario: the Incredible Shrinking Man.

Of course we don't get any information from that little video about what their life together is like overall. Perhaps he has an incredibly stressful job, and this is his one half-hour of downtime on a Friday night. But let?s say it isn?t, and this is one of the scenarios Dennis Vetrano describes. And looking at that clip, it struck me that in terms of normative sex roles, the man is slacking - but also he isn?t, not precisely.
It's kind of hot/cute... I just [redacted] to an audiofile of a guy just making cookies recently and his girlfriend comes home from work and then they start doing things in the kitchen. I'm not sure the role reversal aspect is necessary years ago I also enjoyed some softcore kitchen material which was just heterosexual. One time I got a bit turned on while cleaning a cup in the kitchen because something about it reminded me of uh certain sexual activities with female body parts. Again I'm OK (tm.)

Meanwhile, although he is not helping with these tasks, he's still utterly absorbed in what he's doing. And what he's doing is a form of intense, concentrated activity that - on its own terms - requires skill, competitiveness and focus. A well-designed game will be enjoyable to the extent that it delivers, for the gamer, so emotionally satisfying a simulacrum of resource-gathering, status-seeking, and peer competition and cooperation that the player may well feel as though he genuinely is doing his part - at least according to ancient, probably somewhat evolved differences in male and female contributions to family life.
We don't know what game he's playing. Or if he's even playing a game for that matter. I can't really make it out myself from the background though you can see the screen. Mostly just looks blue like a windows desktop. Perhaps that was specified in the actual tiktok she just took a screenshot of it.

This is also someone who doesn't realise that female gamers and single player games exist (so not that cooperative at least with real people,) and that The Sims is one of the best selling video game franchises. I guess resource gathering is a part of it but a lot of it couldn't really be described as a simulacrum of masculine roles. Other games like Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing etc are also popular with women. In great enough numbers that these games are generally viewed as 'girl games.' Though technically I think Animal Crossing still has more male players than female at least some of the games do. I only see women talk about it really, probably because of the stereotype. Edit: you know what I don't know how old she is but I bet this is just a 'she didn't grow up in the 90s so didn't play video games' thing. They never seemed to be gendered to me when I was a kid. I don't know when I first realised they were considered gendered honestly. Not sure. Eventually I did.

These days I play various Sims games and acquire resources in Runescape. No really that's what I'm mostly doing in the game, mostly to get bonds with ingame gold so I don't have to use real world money (also to eventually be able to get a purple party hat. Getting a party hat usually blue is the ultimate bizarre goal for any Runescape player,) and then just it's a habit at this point. There are some well written quests and other stuff but I'm rarely actually playing the game. Kind of miss when video games were like Spyro and Tomb Raider (ps1 games.) Oh that still exists I just don't really play console games anymore or games in general due to attention span issues + it being somewhat effort to plug in my ps3 and then move it again afterwards as there's not room on my desk in my room. WoW was more fun than Runescape but you have to pay for it. Later I think they also introduced some way to get membership with ingame gold but I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do that easily and by that point I hadn't been playing for years I think (not sure if that system even still exists just remember reading something.) Also WoW can be more like a full time job and I hadn't played since Cataclysm and you just can't stop playing or you'll be too far behind etc. Anyway playing WoW again would probably only be a good thing if it completely distracted me from the internet and this bs lol (well WoW is online but yeah aside from that.)

And this shrinking field for male aspiration seems to be tempting many to forego IRL altogether in favour of glory in the simulation. A growing number of reports document the phenomenon of young men dropping out of everything - real-world ambition, family formation, the works - preferring simply to make ends meet and focus their energy only on the simulated pursuit of honour via gaming.
Oh it's one of those weird moments where she's talking about me even though I'm a female (not artificially masculinised. I'm not on hrt. Lol.) I guess that makes even more sense that she started off with a transgender image then. I'm like the invisible person in the room though. She's really talking about cis guys and besides that I am non-binary not a binary trans man.

That's why Jordan Peterson annoyed me initially well either that or his pronoun [BEEP] but I think it was honestly mostly that initially. I think at one point I actually said that women listening to him should just switch every time he says man to woman in their head and then some of the advice isn't too bad. Of course that only works if it applies, but I actually think his advice to women is just bad anyway and very limited and he keeps recycling the same anecdote about when he worked with a bunch of successful female lawyers and it's like some people never even had that. Of course kids are the most important thing to them now they already achieved the 'get a bunch of money + career' goal.

The truth is nobody's ever really talking about or to me. Because I'm probably a statistical anomaly anyway. Caring about that is narcissistic. But it gets a bit boring being Satan.

"The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world that he did not exist."

If this is so, I suspect that one of the missing pieces is more space for men to seek honour in real everyday life. That is: we might get further in resolving the argument if we looked for solutions that were geared not toward further blurring the roles - and conflating the typical motivations - of men and women but to acknowledging those ways we are, on average, a little different.
I agree the cis men (tm) category that absolutely isn't allowed to include me ever, should do what I did at the beginning of this post:

Edit: Also (and this is more important than the rest of this post really.) I went around all those 'coin pusher' gambling machines on the pier to check the slot at the bottom for coins. Not as good as Blackpool because it was only the 2p coins that were being accidentally pushed off in Brighton but there were a bunch of 10p coins from what I remember in Blackpool and I think I made over a pound there in one visit. But still pretty cool. (Also I didn't look at every single machine tbf and some were in use.) Ironically it's a much more fun game than actually paying to use them.
Hey it's technically real life. 'Acquiring resources.' 😂 Almost stealing but ignore that. The owners of the machines are kind of stealing from the players anyway.

She's a (modern) feminist in the sense that her complaint here centres video games (many such cases,) and she's whining about men haha. Conservatives are also feminists of a kind.

And we can perhaps generalise this, to suggest the following update on the suffrage-era anxiety: that men have not, in the end, been feminised in the sense of replacing women as domestic drudges.

No I want to feminise men it's hot. Why are you trying to ruin my sexual fantasies Maaaaary? Ugh. Fine. Just can't be what was it that twitter poster said? Oh right:

Theyfab chaser is the most evil segment of society and makes up 10% of the worlds population
Can't be Satan in peace on this planet. See this is why British people genetically evolved a dark sense of humour or something. Actually the kind of humour they're talking about isn't dark it's caustic I think but shhh.

Lol we just can't have anything:

i learned the term "theyfab" and have been in mental turmoil since

hey all. ive been going through a bit of a crisis with this recently and don't really know how to parse these feelings, so i appreciate any advice you may have. so, obviously, i am nonbinary, & am afab as well. ive always had a bit of a more masculine presence, and i love that about myself. but the way i dress and express myself has always been more feminine, mainly because i detached gender from my dresses and skirts and thought of them as androgynous gowns (think like a sheet ghost). but as i got older i realized i loved appearing feminine in the way a man would appear feminine, if that makes sense. girly in a masculine way, like the lead singer in a black metal band who paints his nails black and has long hair. so i grew my hair out and wore my band tees and skirts, because that?s what made me feel best. that was until someone i followed made some jokes about "theyfabs". nonbinary people who to outsiders appear as cis women. the discussion was about how those guys have it easier because they don?t look visibly trans. the op was a trans woman, and i respect her perspective and find it important. but while i feel guilty about it i won't lie, it hurt to realize that such a term existed. not that i don't agree that i have such privilege, because i do, its just that i suppose it made me realize that to others i just look like a girl, and it hurts me to be aware of that. ever since then i haven't been wearing dresses or anything. i shaved my head again a few weeks ago, & look a lot more traditionally butch now which i really like. still get called maam and miss at work. i just wish i looked more masculine. so masculine i wouldn't get called maam in a dress. have you had similar experiences before? how do you deal with these feelings?
My least favourite thing about transmasc (for lack of a better term,) tumblr culture is how nobody ever capitalises the I in words. Yeah I know everyone hates themselves and has anxiety and difficulties asserting themselves but does it have to extend to punctuation? Come on.

Yeah we all look like that (not really lol and not all the time. Also I don't wear skirts and probably haven't for like a decade or something. I also haven't dyed my nails for about that time but used to dye them black. Edit: Lol what dyed my nails I meant paint. But also otherwise yeah. I have long hair and band t-shirts basically.)

In light of this cultural movement over here, I found it hilarious that Halsey being American changed her pronouns to she/they while pregnant and then later wrote this:

^ she used the male fairy emoji lol.

    And then recorded this:

Though really I think it's mostly the mother that's neglected. There's a lot of appreciation of older women still to the point that young women sometimes dye their hair grey and role play as 'hags,' have usernames with 'hag' in. Etc.

This was written by Sargon's daughter Enheduanna (the emperor not Carl Benjamin):

Without your consent, no destiny is determined, the most ingenious solution finds no favour.

To dart aimlessly, to go too fast, to fall, to get up, to sustain a comrade are yours, Inanna.
To open high road and byroad, safe lodging on the way, helping the worn-out along are yours, Inanna.
To make footpath and trail go in the right direction, to make the going good are yours, Inanna.
To destroy, to create, to tear out, to establish are yours, Inanna.
To turn a man into a woman and a woman into a man are yours, Inanna.
I was going to say 'I'm not going to link Running up that Hill since gen Z have been obsessing over that song and it's too obvious.' but I kind of have to now:

Also Sargon made this YouTube video years ago:

    And this entertains me immensely.

    Edit: this is funny too

Having observed both of them on/off for years both of their opinions have changed over the years but Sargon's changed the most from where he started.

I saw two interesting shirts today while at Walmart. One said "Nothing is real" and another had "Anti social person."
